Dr. Stubbart did a t-12 Fusion on my back in October of 2006. I went in Friday night with a broken back and no feeling in my legs to getting up and walking with a walker on Monday afternoon. I have been back many times since and have always been treated with courtesy and respect. The staff is always very friendly and appointments are always on time. Many thanks to dr. February 2021, James Stubbart, MD and I first discussed my spine issues. Dr. Stubbart is very down to earth regarding one on one conversations. He is very upfront, yet street guy friendly. Hes not a high pressure salesman trying to make a sale. He will present the positive and the negatives regarding your specific case. Im presenting this comment in June, 2021, so obviously, he is patient and allows you time for decision making. I have the utmost confidence in Dr Stubbart.

Dr Stubbart,has been treating me for many years with my worn out spine. I was a nurse for many years caring for patients which is exhausting on the body. Dr Stubbart discussed with me what is going on with my spine and the way to treat it. He looks in my eyes to make sure I understand what he is saying. He is very upfront about the procedure and planned outcome. Discusses post care. He has a great staff with Mike the PA and Angie RN they work so well together. Dr. Stubbart did a small back fusion on me back in 2003, because of a car accident resulting in a burst fracture. Used part of my floater rib to fix it and went in through my side. Surgery was very successful. He is smart, talented, kind, and a Rockstar, as far as Im concerned. Over 15 years later and my back still feels great. He is the best.

Dr. Stubbart is an experienced surgeon, who in fact, didn’t need to do surgery on me. Let me explain. My accident occurred on 04/05/2020 during the start of Covid. I ended up with 7 fractured vertebrae along with multiple other injuries, due to part of a tree falling on me. Because the fractures included 2 cervical, 3 thoracic and 2 lumbar along with a broken tailbone, the surgery would have consisted of a rod down the middle of my back, which in turn would have left me with very limited mobility. During our conversations in the hospital, he took the time to talk with me & found out I was a very active person. Due to his years of experience, he felt that the best long term recovery for me would NOT be surgery, but to send me home in a clam-shell back brace and lay flat for 8 weeks, which I did. He jokingly said “it’s Covid, no one is going anywhere so you don’t have to feel bad about being in bed.” After 8 weeks, I was allowed to start sitting up & eventually get out of bed. At 12 weeks, the brace came off and the next 3 months were spent doing pool/physical therapy to strengthen my back & core muscles. My most recent follow-up with him indicated my back has healed on its own and I am able to to start doing the activities I love. I just thank Dr. Stubbart again for his wisdom & experience and in my case, choosing to not operate when he could have. I would highly recommend Dr. Stubbart and his staff at OAM!!

Ive had two very successful surgeries, neck restructure, plate disk rebuild. Second was sciatica, surgery opened passage of nerve.Years ago now doing good at 75.Daughter is trying to work for Orthopedic organization. Very experienced good worker.

Because of the Plandemic I understand the need for safety and health issues. Nevertheless it is a shame people have to wait outside the building to be called in.
