Dr. Kate is wonderful. Dr. Josh is too, but I see Kate more often. Very kind and gentle. Answers all questions, even the dumb ones. The whole staff is fantastic. My best dental experience of my life. I would highly recommend this office for all your dental care.

Dr. Kate and her whole staff are just wonderful! They got me in right away! Fixed my chipped tooth, adjusted my parcel and removed a bone spur. I was in and out within a half hour. They always are very cordial and inviting. Im glad I was referred to them!!!My smile hasnt looked this good in years!

Everyone at GRFD is extremely friendly, compassionate & personable. From the start everyone knew I WAS (key word) extremely nervous about the dentist. Dr Kate has made me feel so welcome & comfortable to the point where I look forward to my dentist appointments, even if it’s a filling or something less ideal than a cleaning. Kacee (receptionists) is always ready to help answer any questions & is great at trying to work with complicate schedules. All of the hygienists & assistants are so sweet & you can tell they love their place of work. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of dental work, especially those who have dental related anxiety! 10/10 :)

A small, family oriented but professional practice. Everyone from the front desk, to the dental hygienists to the dentist are extremely kind. There are no secrets to the condition of your teeth, you are informed every step of the way. Everyone is fully trained and most importantly, they make you feel as though no question is too small. Very comfortable and trusting atmosphere overall!

All the staff at GR Family Dentistry are welcoming and great at what they do. I can always count on getting in, and out, and knowing I’ve received the best dental care.

The dentists are great however, I will not be returning to this office due to a scheduler or receptionist (not sure what her title is) that was rude to me when I called to cancel and reschedule my appointment for a later date. I cancelled far in advance (well over 24 hours) due to financial reasons and dentist offices require the amount to be paid in full at the time of service. I do not need to explain my finances and reason for rescheduling to anyone. There should be a cancellation policy that they follow and I don’t appreciate the attitude.

Hey! Kenneth here, Ive been in and out of Grand Rapids Family Dentistry very often this year! Yes! I say that with excitement lol I know right? Growing up no one likes going to the dentist unless they were obsessed with their appearance smiling in their selfies every 30 minutes 😅 Needless to say like some people I just didnt care and I drank a lot of sugar 🙃 🤷 but Ive gotten a fresh opportunity to learn sooo much about the importance of healthy gums and because they care so much and took the time to basically take me to dental school!!! ( I asked A LOT of questions) but they walked me through everything and their dedication to guiding me onto a healthier routine, got me really invested because of HOW they approached me personally and broke down all the negatives I could be facing in the near future where as before with Doctor Wilderns concerns I sort of ignored granted i was younger then, and it wasnt my money and well all i remember him saying was Opeeeennnn hahaha but he would of been so disappointed in me if he saw my earliest results after not going to any dentist for over 5 years. Now my grill is being completely fixed up after the scaling, a crown some extractions and just a few fillings lol expensive!! Its reasonable honestly, had i took better care all my life then it wouldnt have hurt me nor my pockets but they definitely work with you for payment installments and youre insurance co. If necessary. Besides what is money anyway? Its a tool to survive. Had i ignored this to save money and time I imagine in 10 years I guarantee Id be all out of time! No joke. But now im back on track to having a bright smile with a healthy bright future!! I did make the decision after looking in the mirror one day noticing my teeth rotting to finally set up this relationship but they really have taken great care of me ever since I walked in! A big thank you to Josh for being patient and taking in all my considerations with everything and to Samantha&Kacee always being so positive and warming every time I check in. Then last but not least! All other associates which I should just say ladies lol all the other lovely ladies who work hard and keep every patient comfortable while doing what they do best! You guys have an outstanding team! If you live on the north, north east, and Plainfield township or cannonsburg area I highly recommend them!

I’m writing another review because I’m so happy with the staff in the doctors there. I was having a toothache and they were able to get me in with them the next day. They are so helpful and kind. I just love going here.I wanted to mention that Casey at the front desk is especially sweet. I remember when my brother died she talk to me about it and it was very heartfelt and kind. It’s almost been five years but I still remember her kindness.

Hygienist Ms. Michelle did great job with the new set of equipment as always and Dr. Jeff seems very nice and caring! My family has been receiving dental care from there since 2004! We are always happy with their care!!

This was my first visit here. From the moment I walked in I was acknowledged and cared for. Kacee, Nora, Michelle and Dr. Kate were all so helpful and friendly during my stay. They made the process easy to understand, and billing was made very clear for someone with medicaid such as myself. Would gladly return!

I really enjoyed my two dental appointments I have had. By enjoy I mean it was the most pleasurable experience one can have at the dentist. My dental hygienist was very understanding and patient with me as I have terrible “dental” anxiety. Both doctors are extremely professional and do very good work. The front desk is very friendly. Been going here since I was a kid and now my kids come here too! They truly live up to their name and treat you like family. The staff is so friendly and caring. I ask lots of questions and get very anxious while getting work done, but they are always so patient with me. They take the time to answer my questions whether billing related or related to what I’m having done and throughly explain what to expect before, during and after.

Called around for a dentist in the area and I couldn’t get an appointment for 3 weeks. I called Grand Rapids Family Dental and they were able to see me same day and another time in the same week!!! Everyone is very friendly and willing to work with your insurance. I’m glad the other dentists couldn’t accommodate me because otherwise I wouldn’t have found this great practice.

The visit was excellent. The only thing I would suggest is that hygienist should have rinsed my mouth during my visit. I suggest when you scrape tarter and floss to rinse mouth for patient. And was disappointed that they said due to covid they could not polish teeth. Dr. Wilderen office polished teeth during covid. Casey at front desk is a joy. My hygienist was very pleasant. These guys are the best! I had a emergency tooth i needed out so bad. I called for hours trying to find a place that would just take me in and this wonderful place did. First time to this dentist and boy was I impressed. Instantly greeted with smiles and laughter. Waited only a short time before I was brought back to get my teeth cleaned. My hygienist Michelle was fabulous. We made conversation the whole time and her work is flawless. Before I knew it we were done and I was out the door. Best dentist I have ever seen. I didnt go for a long time and Dr. Wildern has been very helpful in detailing all the work I need done. I was having wisdom tooth pain and within 4 days of calling I had all four of them removed. They have been supportive in the healing process as well, seeing me immediately for dry socket relief. Overall, I would highly recommend this dentist.

I actually needed tooth extraction one on both sides and they saw me same day and by the afternoon I was finished the staff was kind every step of the way and I felt very safe during these COVID times. they called me next day to check up on me even. I Would recomend this Dentist to anyone.

First time at this office, there was no hellos no introductions by the dentist. The staff was very respectful.I was very adamant about expressing my concerns with staff and medical team, not only did the DDS disregard my concerns he almostdid exactly what I asked them not to do. I literally had to remove myself from the chair bc my thrice expressed boundaries were about to be crossed.The male dentist told me I cant decide my own medical treatment. He didnt say Im unable to, he said I wont. I understand/respect that its his right to refuse service but it is not his right to tell me what I can and cannot do with my body. I only wanted3 fillings in the front of my mouth and he refused to do that until I would have five other teeth pulled.I had 2 new dentist appts planned for today, So I had an instant second opinion and it was completely different than this morning at Kent wilders. And I only need one tooth pulled.The dentist himself was respectful, actually explained things to me, he showed me what was wrong instead of telling me.Kent Wilder mentioned I had at least 2 exposed nerves, my second dentist today said if I had exposed nerves I would not be able to function with the pian.Ive had a total of three panic attacks in my entire life and today was that third one. I have been through countless medical procedures but nothing was as bad as today, being disrespected and disregarded by that dentist.I feel as though he should be the secretary for his staff and they should be the medical practitioners.

Everyone in the office and dentist are pleasant, polite, courteous and wonderful to work with. Everyone makes you feel comfortable with procedures. After care is just as nice. They check in with you via email to remind you of what you should do after each procedure. Great group!

If I could give a higher rating I would. The Dr and everyone who works here are fantastic. Courteous and professional to the utmost. I had full dentures done. I couldn’t have asked for better care. If you need a dentist for anything. Please use Kent Wildern DDS.

After a botched appointment with Aspen Dental I found Dr. Wildern in the yellow pages. I called them and within 2 hours from my Aspen appointment I was sitting in their chair. Now heres a dentist who hasnt woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Dr. Wildern and his whole staff has made me feel comfortable right off the bat. Very professional, with an up beat attitude. I would and will be recommending this office to everyone I talk to. Thank you Dr. Wildern and staff for being there for me on such a short notice. Truly an inspiration.
