It was difficult adjusting to different eyes post cataract surgery. after having poor vision for my entire life the surgery allowed my astigmatism to become the main issue. Brian was very patient as i tried to adjust to my new eyes. We tried several different lens designs before settling on the correct solution. it was the lens Brian suggested initially!!!moral of the story...listen to the expert!Thank you Harbor View Eye Care!

I’ve always be seen at my appt time and every pair of glasses have been fit and adjusted to my satisfaction. I’ve had to have a couple of repairs over the years and they’ve been completed while I waited and were free. I could go some place closer but I’ll drive 50 minutes to know I’ll get service like this.

I had to make a few appointments because we were having issues getting the right prescription for my left eye. This team was really friendly and answered all my questions through the somewhat confusing process. I was able to get appointments easily and quickly, and my glasses came in after only a short wait! Plus, the woman at the front desk helped my pick out frames that I love. Thanks Harbor View!

Up until today we have had great experiences with Harbor View. Today when my wife and daughter went to have my daughters lenses changed they were treated very rudely by the woman who was supposed to handle that area. She told them they could not sit at her table and to go sit in the waiting area. Then another couple came out of the examination rooms and she quickly waited on them and made my wife and daughter wait.The receptionist ended up helping them and did a great job switching out the lenses. I am very disappointed in the way my family was treated. we are paying customers just like the other couple.We will be looking for another eye doctor because of this.

The reason I give place such a low rating is my current experience with them. I ordered new contacts to be sent quickly to my apartment. At first the secretary lost her note and forgot to send them out. I had to call again and order them a second time. I was told they would be there within a couple days which they were not. 5 days later I call again and they realized that made a mistake with how long it takes to ship the contacts. They promise it will be there in the next day or so and even say the tracking says it is in route. Well it still doesnt come at which point they say they will investigate send me an emergency pair, and call me back with details. I am still waiting on my contacts and a call from their office. I cant even express how appalling this lack of costumer service is, not the mention the lack of organization and knowledge of shipping times from the staff. I am very reluctant to order contacts through them again and have lost respect for the eye doctor office all together.

I’ve been in sales my whole career and can tell the main doctor is more interested in his profit than in helping people. The frames in their store are marked up 50% above that of suggested retail. When I inquired about price matching online prices, he responded that online versions are fake. I was looking at the manufacturer’s own website. There is a reason there are so many articles and dateline exposes on the unscrupulous nature of eyeglasses stores. I did not proceed with the purchase so I can’t comment on that.

I had a very good experience at Harbor View. My husband has gone here for years but I hadnt found an eye doctor since moving to Grand Haven over 5 years ago. I went for the first time today and they were welcoming and understanding to my not having eye insurance. I will definitely make this my eye doctor home!

I am very upset with the service I’m experiencing with harbor view I ordered glasses 2 weeks ago which I paid for upfront when I call to see if there in I get the run around now I’ve been told it could be 3 weeks for them to come in uncalled for !!!!! I will never use this place for glasses ever again !!!!!!
