I went into this ER Last night, I checked in at 9:05 and was not seen until 11 PM. The front desk lady was extremely sweet and professional but as for the doctor he was completely useless. My band says Doctor Thurman, he was an older male who refused to do his job due to me having Covid symptoms. I informed him that I tested for Covid twice and both times were negative… mind you I am pregnant running a fever experiencing all these symptoms and this doctor looks at me and says “I can’t tell you what you have but I can give you Tylenol” . He didn’t even take 2 minutes of his time to try and help me find out what was going on. His whole demeanor was completely uncomfortable and careless, I walked out and didn’t even wait for him to bring me Tylenol. This place did absolutely nothing for me. If they bill me, it will be for sitting in a chair, because no one gave me service and no one helped me medically. “Kindness starts here”.. kindness is the exact opposite trait that the doctor carries while doing his job.I went to urgent care the next day and it’s sad to say that an urgent care doctor is more professional, kind, charismatic and quick to solve a problem than an ER doctor.

The worst place I would ever want to do business especially of that nature. For the emergency room there was no sense of urgency people just standing around talking just chopping it up doctor sitting their computers just typing away. You would think for as long as I spent there that the hallways would be lined with patience or something. Never again!

DO NOT GO HERE! We visited because my husband was passing a kidney stone. They quickly diagnosed him and got us out the door in less than 2 hours. Before we left, I asked if they would email me with an itemized bill and the woman at the counter seemed displeased and said their billing office takes care of billing. When we got the bill we were shocked to find out they charged us over $3000 for just walking in the door description was emergency room visit. We confirmed with our insurance that the charge wasnt for any service just for the visit and only the visit. The rest of the bill listed out the real charges which was reasonable. It is morally corrupt to gouge people for needing medical care. When we requested an itemized bill to see why the bill was so high, they made us jump through hoops. I was told we had to fill out a form to request it and the only way we could get the form was if they mailed it to us and we mailed it back. Obviously they didnt want us to see that they were intentionally ripping us off.

The Nurses and doctors here are super amazing, they took me very serious and gave me a very good treatment. Even though I had to wait for long time, and I could hear many other patients was unsatisfied with the waiting time. Well the doctors and nurses are working as fast as they can, they are very busy with covid patients in those times we are living in now. So we as patients should show our doctors and nurses respect, and let them take the time they need for each patient, and they are doing their very best to help each of us as fast as they can.Thank you Dear Doctors and Nurses for everything you do, you guys are true heroes thank you 🙏🏻

Staff member went here Instead of urgent care and realized it before being seen. They would not let him leave. They would bill anyway even if no services provided. It was a tiny cut requiring no sutures... just a prescription for antibiotics $1500 bill. What would they have billed for if no services provided???? Yes still $1500.Yes they will bill if not seen and the complaint number listed below is not for this facility. No one deals with this facility. Dont ever go here. Poor service. No customer service. Today, I was referred to this ED by my endodontist for IV antibiotics due to severe infection in my jaw/ear/neck that oral antibiotics alone had not touched and I had been up all night in agony. My endodontist actually called ahead to discuss the need for treatment to assist in a swift and efficient treatment plan. Dr. Jerry Jones is the practicing physician for the day and swept in the room abruptly and let me know that he is not a dentist and thats where I needed to go without hearing what was going on, or even remotely practicing a smidgen of compassion, which is typically necessary for his profession. I have never been treated with such a blatant level of disrespect in a medical facility, especially, with only two rooms occupied and I was encouraged to leave so I did. I have called several times asking to speak with the manager, Amy and nobody seems to know when she works, or how to reach her. Extremely disappointed as I have typically had great experiences at this facility.

I’ve been here twice and there is one doctor that is HORRIBLE. I believe his name was Bennett? Anyways I was 7 months pregnant and having some horrible pain in my hands so I went in. He told me that it’s because I’m obese and need to lose weight and that’s my problem. Then he comes back in the room again and goes “you’re pregnant?”. I’m not even overweight! He didn’t even check my chart. He was also very rude when I brought my son in. He’s just a terrible doctor with no bedside manner and talks to you for less than 2 minutes. Definitely don’t go here if you want to be treated with respect and dignity.

DO NOT go here for medical help. Front desk staff is very rude. Doctors make you wait for pain medication even when hospital is empty. I walked in with excruciating pain and they let me lay on the hospital floor screaming for help for 45 minutes before they could even give me a room I had to beg and scream for help to finally be seen for what was an emergency. Also the waiting room was empty when i arrived. Please save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. I was in so much pain i could not stand, sit, or do anything except lay and cry. The lady at the front desk just stared at me and told my significant other “make her sit in the chair” like obviously i would if i could. Review the cameras if you need it was very unprofessional and careless. I had to scream through the window once the lady left the front office “please somebody help me. please” before i was even seen. One of the nurses also told me to stop crying like i could control the tears coming from my pain. I was there for hours because they move so slowly and act like they have better things to be doing. they make you feel as though youd ruined the whole shift. Only one young man was polite and patient and he was the one to insert the IV and check my vitals.

This place is fast but beware the front office staff. Should have walked out as soon as I was greeted. It was made quite clear to me that I needed this specific information and before I could get it I was called back. I said I needed to finish first but I was told not to worry about it I could fill it out in the back. Well when I was unable to provide all required information I went beck up to the staff to say I didn’t have this and so I would leave but I was told I would be billed regardless. When I asked how much I was told that would be the billing department. They had done nothing so I don’t know what the bill would even be for. Bottom line this visit was not worth the aggravation the staff caused me, plus they did the absolute minimum as far as medical care. I wouldn’t choose to go there again. I did have a great experience here almost three years ago I have no idea what changed but my experience this time was the complete opposite .

I wouldnt recommend this location for care. I went back in September because I had a small breakout on my leg. The staff that answers the phone and sits at the desk isnt very friendly. I was there for less than 30 minutes, over 20 minutes was filling out the paperwork. Dr. Wilde came into the room and looked at my leg. He stated he didnt know what it was, he didnt think its shingles but he was going to prescribe me something for shingles. Which didnt make sense at all. He was in the room with me not even 3 minutes. The nurse came back with 2 prescriptions. I was given a bill for $1101 and told it was a rough estimate. I received a bill a few weeks later for $2931. It didnt have a breakdown because they didnt do anything. It just states emergency room on the bill. This is my first hospital bill ever looking like this. I didnt know my insurance had kicked in and called to tell them. The woman in billing was extremely rude. My insurance covered most of it and I owe them $400. Then, I received another bill from TEC AZ Physicians for $341. This is completely absurd. Ive never been charged this much without having a test ran or services adhered. I didnt receive anything for my visit to cost over $3000. Ive been wrestling with writing this review and this bill since I received it. I will be speaking to a higher up about this matter and asking for an appropriate breakdown of services because having a doctor use a glove, tell me he didnt know what it was and leave to write a prescription shouldnt cost over $3000.

Do not recommend going here. Even though everyone was friendly, doesnt make up for not sharing all diagnosed issues or lack of treatment. Took my husband in for kidney pain on right side in November. They did a CT Scan and said he had a 3mm kidney stone. Sent him home with meds and said follow up with urologist IF pain continues. Well husband passed stone a few days later and no more pain, no need for urologist per their instructions. So not even a month later and now pain in left side so back to ER where they did a scan again, told us he needs to be transferred and admitted to hospital for 8mm stone and told him his kidney was bad. Come to find out, that 8mm stone was there back in November and they never told us and no where in discharge paper did it state that. Only found out when we registered through their portal and was able to review records. Also when reading his records it said another 5mm stone existed in left kidney but again they never told us. All of my husbands pain he is going through now would have been avoided if they would have done something about it the first time. He may not have mentioned pain in the left kidney but if they are supposed to be the professionals, everyone knows you cannot pass an 8mm stone on your own and they should have treated him for it.....will never go there again and now we are going to get billed by them for something they should have treated the first visit.

0 stars. Took my daughter to get treatment for a cut on her chin. The front office took her info and had her wait. A doctor came and told her they cannot offer treatment due to her age (they are unable to administer sedatives or something i guess...) and we were turned away. We had the procedure done elsewhere. The doctor even stated his front of the house staff should have know to advise us they wouldnt be able to help. My wife even took the step to ask if we would be billed for anything, front desk said NO.Now we are battling a $600+ bill (and apparently insurance already paid them a bunch) for something they could not even do. I called to explain the situation and i was advised the charge is not for any services, but rather due to the fact the front office took my wifes information (which they should have never done in the first place apparently) and billing for check in and triage service.Well, heres a news flash, im not giving you a dime more (and tempted to contact my insurance company to begin investigating your billing practices as apparently there seem to be many issues based on your reviews). My credit score is over 800, if you send this bill to collections and impact my report i will take you to court and sue for damages.Get your stuff together. If you cant treat a patient, dont even take their info and cause mistakes like this to happen. Better train the front office. Use your brains. I used to work for Anthem BCBS in a senior management capacity and im not the type of person to roll over and eat a false charge.

The reason I took him to ER was to see if we could get imaging sooner. Said motor skills are fine - the man cant walk across the room in a straight line! I just cannot even believe the horrible experience we had there with our 2 year old. The doctor that saw us was incredibly rude and didn’t have even two minutes to tell me the diagnosis he made of my sons symptoms. He just (very confrontationally) kept asking me “do you want medicine or not?!”... I had to ask multiple times what he was even giving him and WHAT IT WAS EVEN FOR! How can this be acceptable for a child’s medical care in an emergency unit?! The doctor was also very annoyed my TWO YEAR OLD couldn’t tell him what his symptoms were and couldn’t open his mouth on command... I could go on about the doctor but I feel like my previous statement sums it up. I would like to acknowledge that the nurse we had was a very nice and calm man, who was also very helpful and the front desk women was very attentive and tried to be as fast as possible at check in. The woman at the front desk was not friendly at all. I have never seen anyone seem like they hate their job more than her. What is ironic about this place is that above the automatic doors that lead you back to the rooms it says, kindness begins here. I originally thought that it must not include the woman at the front desk/waiting room. However, the doctor seemed the same way. Someone was in a hurry and could care less, here are you prescriptions, you can go. Very nice place. Maybe spend a little bit more time with your patients, after all, youre a doctor. If you hate your job that much, quit. Unfortunately its the patients that pay for the sloppy and terrible bedside manner. There also seems to be a lot of one stars. That should indicate to management that your place is terrible. I guess they dont care what people think because theyre not changing.

I cannot thank this facility enough. I had a horrible experience with Arvina Urgent Care prior to me showing up here at 1:30AM just after leaving the other “open” facility. I was greeted immediately and the gentleman behind the desk was so kind and patient with me. I was a first time patient here and the process of getting my information was so smooth and quick. They got me in immediately for testing and not even 35 minutes later, I was out the door and headed to a 24 hour pharmacy from a list the staff provided me. Dr. Larson was the guy who saw me and he was so professional and understanding. Gave me quick and simple answers to what was going on, and even offered to come check out again if for some reason my symptoms continued or got worse while taking my medication. This facility made the entire process so simple and quick. It was the middle of the night that I came in and was treated as if it were midday. After driving here from a facility that was supposedly open and 24 hours and causing major stress while I was in pain, I’m happy Dignity was there in my time of need. Went here when I was experiencing the worst anxiety due to my husband leaving me and asking for a divorce. I’ve never experienced anxiety before and was terrified. This came up as an urgent care in my search, apparently this is an emergency room. I saw the emergency room sign but it was on the side so I thought that was a separate part of the building. At the front desk I asked what the charges would be and was told that my copay was 170 and I would receive a small bill for the rest. The small bill is 1800.00, that is far from small! Since my insurance copay out of pocket is 3200 I have to pay this full amount out of pocket. I’m beyond furious and I will never go to any place associated with dignity health again. From now on I will go to Banner where they don’t lie and claim it’s a “small” charge. Beware when googling urgent care this comes up, it is NOT an urgent care!! Honestly, in my opinion this should not come up when you search urgent care in google maps, that’s very misleading! I wish I would have gotten an honest answer and maybe clarification that this is an emergency room. I even made the comment that I was surprised that they are open 24 hours when I checked in, that was a perfect opportunity to educate me that this is an emergency room not an urgent care!

I would give this place zero starts but I dont think that is possible. It is a beautiful new facility in a great location but through incompetence, or mismanagement, is no more than a nicely-dressed scam that charges unsuspecting people outrageous fees for little or no services. I went in there yesterday with an extremely painful but not life-threatening toenail fungus hoping to get a prescription for a topical treatment, some pain killers, and / or a referral to a podiatrist.Like many other folks whove written reviews, I though it was an Urgent Care clinic. At check in I showed my insurance card, which indicates $0 co-pay for Urgent Care and ER visits, and was assured that if the information on my card was correct I would not have to pay anything out-of-pocket.I was admitted to what was definitely not an emergency room and after a few minutes a doctor came into the room, took one look at my foot and said that it was indeed toenail fungus and that he couldnt do anything about it. I asked for a podiatrist referral and he told me to find one in the yellow pages. He prescribed a pain killer, and was out of the room in less than 5 minutes. As I was leaving, less than 40 minutes after entering the facility, the same person who moments previously had indicated that there would be nothing payable, curtly informed my that I needed to pay over a thousand dollars! To be charged such an outrageous price for what amounted to less than 5 minutes with a medical professional, after I had specifically attempted to avoid such a situation before entering should be illegal. To the average consumer it looks like any other Urgent Care walk-in facility and the check in staff make no effort to warn unsuspecting patients who clearly do not need ER-level care that they are going to be charged completely unreasonable prices that do not in any way reflect the care provided.I would not go anywhere near this place unless you have a life-threatening situation and would not survive the time it would take to get to any other ER.

The new doctor came on after about an hour of us being there. His name was dr. Herring. He was awesome! He was very thorough and explain everything to us so that we understood. He treated my husband for heat exhaustion! The staff of the front desk was great and so were the nurses. It is not a very busy location so you get in pretty quick.

This Dignity Health was by far one of the best I have ever been to. The staff and the Dr. were all very professional and sympathetic to my needs. I didn’t have to wait long at all, they took me right in and started assessing me. I was in so much pain I could barely walk. They ran test and determined I had a bad kidney infection and then they stared treating me for it. Thank you Dignity Health you are all awesome..

Went to this place for a nasty bug bite that was bruising my arm. The doctor was with me for less than 3 minutes and told me nothing to worry about just a bruise. Then they gave me a bill for $1,300. No tests, no materials used ..just 3 minutes with a doctor. They said I had to meet an insurance deductible and charged me the $1,300.How anyones time is worth $433 per minute is beyond me. Absolutely criminal.I never would have gone there if I had any idea of the cost. Then of course they say they say they arent allowed to discuss costs ahead of time. How is that even legal. It wouldnt be in any other industry!! SLEAZY...

Been trying to pay a LARGE bill with Dignity. They refuse to answer my letters or calls. Though the bill went to collections, Im not worried because its not a legally enforceable bill. The error stemmed from processing the bill under the wrong SSN.Advice: Stay away from Dignity ... their care is sub-par and accounting service are sorely lacking. If Dignity Health should (finally) be listening, my account # is 0297841. Don’t go here if you are are woman. Shortly after giving birth I had high blood pressure. My doctor told me to go to the ER if my blood pressure was over a certain number. So I went in the middle of the night and the all male staff basically told me I was hysterical and sent me home. I went to a different ER and was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia and was admitted for almost a week. The medical bias against me, as a woman at this location was astounding. I literally could have died. I recommend you drive a littler farther to another ER.

Long story short: DVT and Pulmonary Embolism.I credit my survival in part to the staff of this emergency room. I wish I remembered the names of the doctors, the ultrasound technician, the ambulance drivers.i would like to thank them for saving my life and being so courteous and attentive and professional. They took my situation seriously. From here I was sent to abrazo Arrowhead where I was treated for 9 days. They were also great

Every time we have been here they have been nothing but amazing. The care was wonderful and the ability to diagnose the problem accurately was exact each time. I’m grateful for them as last year they helped my son when he had pneumonia and this year for a couple of reasons. I almost don’t want to leave a good review because I want to keep them to myself!

I wish there was a 0 star I can give, the First Dr when we arrived was very nice and pleasant. When shift change arrived and the new Dr came on shift she was very rude, mean and nasty. I went to the desk looking for the nurse caring for my child and she said “what did you need... I tried to explain something to her and without even letting me finish she cut me off and (Shouted) NO I’m the DR and I will be there when I get done doing what I’m doing here. She then began discussing our pt care loudly in the desk area to the nurse caring for my child where myself and my child over heard them stating “that mother wants a nurse (laughs) but I’m the DR and she doesn’t have a clue what she is talking about..... “then goes on more about our case aloud to the other nurses. I was so upset at this point. She then comes in and Denied everything we over heard and completely changes her tone because she did not know we over heard everything she had said....... I felt like crying I was so upset. I had no choice but to be silent because my child was in a lot of pain, at this point my child was also upset and wanted to leave because the nurses were also very rude and insensitive. Whenever we would ask for things they would get an attitude we wouldn’t see them again until we pressed the call light again. A little while later they came to close our door so we could not over heard there conversation. I nicely opened it back up and told them I would like it to be open please. Stay far from this place. Go anywhere else if you can make it.

I dont think anyone enjoys going to the ER. However, this was a pleasant experience even being as sick as I was. My nurse Erica, RN and Dr. Sullivan were excellent. The whole staff was very pleasant and helpful. I will definitely return here in the event that I need ER help again. So will my husband. I also plan on telling all my neighbors too. I was given some meds and a list of 24 hr. pharmacies. Thanks again for the wonderful treatment.

I can only start by saying stay away. My wait time was quite brief, 10 minutes, and the only good part of the experience. The doctor was terrible. He failed to introduce himself. He failed to complete a proper history and examined the wrong shoulder. He failed to educate me as to the causes of my issue or provide me with alternate options to treatment. He told the nurse what to do but did not address me. I was given two injections and promptly discharged without waiting to see the results or monitor for side effects. To add insult to injury I was billed a level 4, 5 is the highest, and when I both called and wrote to review the charges I was never called back. I have written to corporate regarding my complaints and the only communications I have received are that I am being sent to collections. This is just wrong on so many counts. I just dont think they care about your health or your peace of mind. They certainly dont care about their professionalism or they would absolutely return calls and follow-up on letters of concern. I recommend Banner.

I was signing the admittance papers and a nurse came out to get me she took me back and put me in a room and said there will be someone coming to get you and take you for x-ray as she said that the door opened and there was the x-ray technician he took me down and and took the x-rays then he took me back to the room and said it will be about 20 minutes and then the doctor will come in and talk to you within five minutes the doctor walked in and told me the report on my foot and they put me in a walking cast I was in and out within a half an hour treated with dignity and everyone was as nice as they could be from the front desk to the doctor I would recommend this place to anyone.

The doctor and nurses were great. However the administrative staff is unethical, inconsiderate, and they lie. We had brought our daughter in Friday night, she was transported via ambulance to the Phoenix Childrens hospital in the 90 minutes we spent there no one returned our insurance card which we didnt realize until we got to the other hospital. Luckliy I had mine. Today my husband went to pick it up and the woman told him that if he didnt pay the deposit, and they billed us, when we payed it wouldnt go towards our deductible. My husband is standing in the lobby with our kids, one of which has a fracture in her skull trying to pick up his insurance card, that we will need for future appointments, that they should have given back to us when we were there and this woman wants to hound him about money! Its been 3 days, not even 1 business day! We have a very badly injured little girl, who needs her insurance card and they wouldnt give us back our insurance card until we paid our deposit. God knows what the bill will be, but I will NEVER be back. The administrative staff are heartless, unethical liars who put money over people.

The facility itself was beautiful. The layout was very nice and very clean. The staff seemed very short and acted as if they didnt want to see my daughter. They saw her a total of less than five minutes and sent us on our way with no explanation of what they thought was causing her symptoms. They demanded $250 up front before I left before I received a bill. They said they would send a bill and its been 3 weeks and still no bill in the mail. They keep calling my phone and asking how my son is doing and I have to argue with them that my daughter is in fact a female and just because her name can be used both ways does not mean she is a boy and they should know that from the charts. I am saddened from the experience we had there and will never return. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Been there multiple times. Medical staff is wonderful. Problem is everytime we visit the billing gets messed up. They submit claims to wrong insurance or even send it twice so the second one is rejected and I have to go in to correct it. Recently they have sent me a bill 6 months later claiming insurance has rejected it. I called insurance and they say it was paid. Call the number on the bill and it is incorrect. I searched number and finally reached them. Turns out they already sent it to collections. Horrible, now we are battling collections! This was the last straw and we will not ever use them again.

I truly, truly, cannot recommend this facility highly enough. I had to take my Ten year old daughter in tonight and I have never been more impressed with an emergency room, and a physician. Ive had experiences with a billion doctors and clinics in 5 different states, with four different children. The care our child received tonight is absolutely unparalleled. Dr Hawkins had the best bedside manner Ive ever seen with a child. He soothed my daughter, cracked jokes to help her feel better, showed her empathy and attentiveness and actually talked to her like she was a real person instead of bulldozing over her and only asking the parents questions like so many others do. (And he even slipped her some candy once she started feeling better!)Rubi, who did the bloodwork, was an absolute saint. Our child is terrified of needles and did not make the process easy but Rubi never lost her patience or showed anything but understanding. Kamryn, the ultrasound tech, humored my future doctor child and answered at least 100 questions about the technology and imaging, fed all of her what happens if... curiosities, and made her feel comfortable the entire time.I didnt catch the names of the other people we interacted with but every single from the front receptionist we first spoke to the person who did the discharge paperwork as we left was 100% professional, extremely kind, and all-around incredible. Seriously, this place is wonderful. And while we hope not to need emergency services again, when the time inevitably comes, we wouldnt dream of going anywhere else.

I came to this ER because of cramping and vaginal discharge (Im pregnant). When I first arrived my fist impression was wow this is a nice little spot. I was called to the back after about 10 min of waiting. Which is great for an emergency room. When I got to the back I was asked the usual questions from my nurse, then was able to hear the babies heartbeat with the Doppler. I asked would I get an ultrasound and they said no we have to call in for those although it says they have ultrasounds on all of their flyers. So when my doctor comes in he asked what exactly I was there for. So I explained the cramping and what not. He began drilling me asking me why didnt you just go to your doctor, you know you couldve called them etc etc. He gave me the impression that he did not want to see me and he was annoyed! He said he would run some test on my pee to make sure all was good, then also said he would do a vaginal screening. After he had already told me he wouldnt get results for the screening until a few days later (which is another reason why he said I shouldve went to my OB). So I didnt understand why he would do the screening if I wouldnt get results in a timely manner. Leaving this place I still had no answers... Only thing I was satisfied with was hearing my childs heartbeat. Everything else was just horrible.. Oh and they broke down the bed while I was on it (naked) ! Lol this place is a joke.. You all, please avoid this ER at all costs. It is like they put the worst providers and RNs at this facility because they were likely less sufficient in their previous places of employments. My daughter and I were there because we had an allergic reaction to some bug bites. I understand we are not as vital as an aneurysm or myocardial infarction, but no one even assessed me and looked at my skin. I have inflammation around my joints and it appears I may have an infection. When I expressed, after waiting 2 hours, that maybe they could at least draw a CBC while I was waiting there to see if I was possibly developing an infection, they (specifically Leslie) condescendingly told me Thats not necessary. Really? How would she know? She never even looked at my body. No one did. At the very least, have a provider come in and scan my body to just reassure me that it didnt look like an infection. So unprofessional. They never once updated me on when we would be seen and when I would ask, they would be so rude about their reply and say, Oh, you just have bug bites. Oh, nice. So someone who was not involved in my care knew about my problem? That is a HIPAA violation right there. As an RN, I am absolutely offended at how this place was run. The only staff that knew what they were doing was the front office staff. So, after waiting nearly 2 hours, and having absolutely no one even scan our bodies, we decided to go to Next care Urgent Care where everyone was kind, kept us updated on when we would be seen and took our problem very seriously. And guess what, I have a systematic infection. Nice work, Dignity. Pathetic. Avoid at all costs. There was absolutely no one in there that was having an emergency. If there had been everyone wouldnt have been behind the nurses station and laughing away.

I just went today with a sprained ankle mainly because they have MRI facilities, which I never got by the way. The staff was nice but I was there for 3 hours, so as bad as any other emergency room and without telling me before hand when I offered my insurance information, they proceeded to charge me an additional 170.00 above my standard insurance co-pay in case there are charges the insurance does not cover. I called my insurance who then called them questioning this and were told this is their standard procedure and I would be refunded any excess. Right, I will not hold my breath. So unless you are ok with paying 250.00 for your visit, I would highly recommend going to urgent care or the regular emergency room at a hospital instead.
