We had to go to this poor excuse a medical center with my wife being ill and unable hold.our newborn baby. The intake person was unable to comprehend that a newborn needs to eat very.often from their mother and told.my wife that its okay babies dont actually need to eat that much and that he needed to go home or wait in the car.This attitude summarizes the professionalism and medical knowledge of the staff at this hospital.They also didnt listen to her at all and kept interrupting her when she tried to tell them what was going on because they of course knew better. Further the doctor came out to the waiting room and loudly talked about my wifes personally identifiable information and medical information and examined her all the while a bunch of people were watching, HPPA violation anyone? All around this hospital is staffed horribly Its a joke, I guess we found out where the doctors who graduated bottom of the class are working. Avoid at all costs.

DO NOT GO HERE! Horrible experience in the ER If I could have give this hospital a a zero I would. This is the worst hospital I have been at. They have us in the hall way discussing medical issues which is against HIPPA. They are very poorly ran. . Every thing being done has been discussed in the hallway amongst everyone walking by not professional at all! Just put another person in the hall way urinating in one other urinal CUPS . HOW PERSONAL AND PRIVATE IS THAT PLEASE GET US OUT OF HERE

I went here for heel pain and xrays revealed plantar fasciitis and I told them I can get to a pediatrist at the end of the week, and I’ve been taking IBprofren 800 for a couple weeks to deal with it, but would like something stronger on a as needed basis. They made rude comments and prescribed me IBPROFREN lol. I the. Emailed the people that messaged me back on here saying “they’d like to know more about what happened” emailed them and no response. So that’s all show to make it look like they cared. $200 emergency room visit for nothing but to be prescribed the same thing I had been taking and wasn’t working and to be talked down to like I’m a pill popping person. They have records showing I don’t abuse anything and really needed the pain meds on a as needed basis for a WEEK. Recommend finding a new place to go

I had a horrible experience with the treatment here in the ER. This facility is not very well kept, also some of the staff made some rude and unprofessional comments.I had open wounds from a motorcycle accident. After several hours of waiting was finally seen by the doctor. The doctor said I had no broken bones, but he totally ignored the fact that I had open wounds all over! My fiance asked the nurse if they were going to treat them. She came back with a bucket of soapy water from the bathroom and said here you go.I will never go back to this facility again, and I hope you dont either.

I have to go here possibly. for my colonoscopy and endoscopy. and Im a bit nervous but i know everythings going to be ok

Nobody or nothing is perfect in life, but god bless ALL the staff that works at this facility. I personally have been here numerous times, not only for my own health issues, but also for my close family members. Not to mention the birth of not two, but soon to be three children. I have never had one bad experience here, although I do know many situations differ. Either way, I believe that these people care and do save lives! God Bless you all 🙏🏻

They care more about the bill than they do their patients

The only reason Im leaving one star is because you cant leave zero. Do not I repeat do not go to this hospital. My wife was there resently and they almost killed her with all the stuff they pumped in her. I took her to another hospital and Abrazo refused to send her medical records and from what I understand it happens a lot. I had my daughter there a few years back and they wanted to do a spinal tap because they thought she had meningitis. Took here to another hospital and all it was was the flu. I personally when there years ago due to a high fever. They thought I was having heart problems and all it was was I was dehydrated. Theyre many more horror stories from family and friends that I wont get in to. One friend sued and won. Please rethink your choice before coming hear. Oh they are prompt with the bill a few weeks later.

The staff were nice and polite. It is understandable that one travels through various queues for a typical Emergency Room visit, registration, triage, vitals, exam by doc, drawing blood, urine collection, x-ray, lab results, billing, discharge etc. However taking 6 hours for this process is not what I expected, but unfortunately what I experienced. My total face to face time with the staff was probably only 45 minutes. The management/directors of the Emergency Room could definitely benefit from a production control class with a focus on the uses of a Gantt chart. At a minimum, a goal of this emergency room should be 3 hours or less from registration to discharge / admittance for every patient.

This rating is only for the ER front desk (not the clinicians).My mother went to the Abrazo West Campus ER (West Valley Hospital) yesterday, 7/8, in the evening (around 7pm). I called this morning, 7/9, at approx. 11am to get a status. A lady answered the phone and I advised the reason for my call was to get a status and may I speak to my mothers RN. She told me they were very busy, as you can hear and it might be a while with an exasperated sigh.Now. I understand that especially during these pandemic times there is a lot of stress for everyone (she also added they are at full capacity). But for someone who is first-line to a sick family member to be spoken to in this fashion, well it just isnt acceptable. This employee demonstrated very poor skills at handling stress and she was rude.

Because it was flu season the ER was extremely busy. The ER Physician, Dr. Dursteler, was very attentive to my care. He was professional, listened closely when I was speaking and overall was receptive to my needs. He gave me options and I never felt that anything was rushed. I definitely appreciated that he was there that day to help me.

If you have a emergency and can go to a different hospital please do it. They will tell you to email them but not even respond or say anything. I repeat take your loved ones somewhere else. And if you suspect any foul play contact a lawyer. That is what I am going to do since I never received a response from them.

I had a family member in this hospital and I can not in any amount of words to share what a amazing place this hospital is they have the most professional and kind and sensitive people you ever want to meetFrom the ICU unit to the 4th floor staff simply amazing forever in our hearts of gratitudeGod bless you all they far beyond what I had ever expected

Had to make a precautionary stop here while transporting a patient from CA to TX. The staff was excellent. Prompt, helpful and got us back out and on our way much quicker than I expected.

If you need emergency help for something serious Dont go to Abrazo emergency room in Goodyear you will be almost dead before they help you . You will be sitting in there waiting room for 5 hours or better no matter what you are there for. My daughter was there and they werent helping her or doing anything untill I threatened to call an ambulance to take her somewhere else then within 15minutes she was put in ICU and they werent sure if she was going to make it but by the Grace of God shes okay and the 2nurses in ICU staying consistent with here Id like to Thank Valerie and Miguel in the ICU your great. Sorrychoose your emergency room carefully depending on the situation

Dont go here unless you plan to sit around for hours and hours on end. Staff is rude and uneducated. Doctors can barely speak English and the food takes about 2 hours to get to your room. Weve been here for nearly an entire day and all they have done is an EKG and a blood test. We had 5 doctors walk in almost one right after another asking what my wifes symptoms were. And none of them had any idea that the other doctors had already came and asked. Piss poor service. After no nurses checking in after a few hours I went and asked whats going on and she said she would check on it. Went back to her a couple hours later and she said the same thing. Were getting ready to just walk out of this place. The rooms suck and everything is dirty and broken. Please save yourself hours and hours of sitting around doing nothing and go to a different hospital.

Went in to the ER and was taken back within 10 min. I sat in a waiting room for 45 min. The P.A. came in and asked what my issue was. she listened for about 2 minutes. I was sent to another waiting room with about 10 people. A nurse came to see me after about 30 min. She openly discussed my medical issues with all the people around. I was then given a shot, in the waiting room with all the people around. It was the worst treatment I have ever been afforded at a hospital. All this after a 200 dollar CO. pay. NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

They put several emergency patients in the hallway. Theres no privacy for those patients. I found my son parked in the hallway with an empty IV bag and a full urine specimen cup on his bed. When I said that I was going to take him to another facility because of the poor treatment, the Physician Assistant showed up and discharged him. The conversation about his diagnosis and discharge instructions was held in the hallway where anyone could overhear. Where is the respect to patients rights and HIPPA rules? Surely it is not here.

I went in last week for an MRI and was told that they turn the machine off every other day by a “specialist” who checked on me one time. I told them I don’t have any fractures, and that nothing was broken. I have a completely ruptured Achilles’ tendon and is seeking the MRI for clarification to proceed with surgery. I was denied an MRI, and she told a nurse to tell me the exact thing I told her. She just said “CLINICALLY”. Now I have a swollen ankle and bruises all around my ankle.

Came in for severe body aches that was nothing I’ve felt before. They just gave me medicine and discharged me. Didn’t even consider the pain I was in. I got rushed and it’s not worth coming. If you need medical attention go find a different place. They don’t care about the patients here

Horrible service I’ve had something stuck in my esophagus for a while. Had insurance change that’s taking forever. I called ahead to make sure they could assist me I was assured they could. They did nothing for me but draw blood and X-ray. Didn’t attempt to scope as I had asked before I came waist of time and money. Do not go here unless it’s life or death. It’s worth the extra time to drive to any other hospital. I had came here originally and they didn’t have a scope, so I made sure to ask before I came today as I would have waited to go to an ent specialist...

I have been coming here for years and they have always been great! I have been here 2 times in the last 2 months and the level of care has went down the tubes and the staff has been incompassionate and downright rude. Including the Dr.s! Not sure what changed...managment or something. Will not come back even if Im dying because these drs probably couldnt figure out what was wrong.

I dropped my husband off at the ER at 10:30am on a Monday morning for high blood pressure, rapid heart beat, and a tight chest. He texted me two minutes later that there were a lot of people waiting. At 10:55 am he said he had just gotten triaged and was sent back to the waiting room to wait to be taken back. At 2:09pm he texted that they had just taken him back to a room! THREE AND A HALF HOURS LATER! Doctor spent a couple of minutes with him, prescribed him a medication and said not to worry about what his heart rate was and that it was probably just anxiety. Doctor said “don’t chase numbers” when it comes to blood pressure. Husband was done at 3:24 PM. This was a terrible experience. To go for rapid heart, tight chest, and high blood pressure and be told it was “probably” chest pains with absolutely no tests is ridiculous. We will NOT be returning to this location and wi tell everyone we know not to.

Five stars for Abrazo I personally have been in there emergency room and Ive had a couple of friends in emergency room always friendly always fast always right on target Im so happy that appraisal is a neighborhood Hospital

Complete Joke. Saw PA Chuck today. No real Drs just PA. I brought in ct scan , labs from Dignity a week ago. Told him I have kidney pain in left side now as well as right side dignity treated. I had a resistant bacterial infection I was being treated for and not getting better. They redid ct scan Im sure insurance will be mad. He said urine cultural neg .of course it is Ive been on antibiotics a week. It had to be cultured last week at dignity brought him results. Dignity was awrsone. Zdr gave me her cell number. She told me i probably needed admittrd for iv antibiotics and sent me to abrazo because dignity e.r cant admit people. Wasted 4 hours at abrazo. The PA d idnt know what he was doing .asked if I had a female exam... I said I dont need one for a UTI. He asked another women same thing across from me. Unreal!! Epic Failure

I trust this hospital a THOUSAND TIMES MORE THEN BANNER ESTRELLA!!! We have never had a long wait time and the Dr.s are great.

Still waiting in first wait room by door 3 hours later and was told even those in back are waiting and no estimated time of waiting. If you are claustrophobic don’t come here. Hard to wait in this waiting room. Two people can’t pass and if wheelchair or stroller hard to walk around!
