My husband was scheduled for surgery. They waited until the DAY before he was scheduled to tell him there was an issue with his insurance. They basically said they will not treat him unless he has a secondary insurance available. He provided the secondary insurance and they then told him he needed to provide all the information to his primary carrier. Fine he does that. He basically did the job of the person who handles the insurance at the office. He was providing claim information, prior authorization, info about the surgery. His primary carrier was confused as to why they had the patient calling to verify benefits.

Dr. Serrano and staff are extremely kind and compassionate. They really care about their patients. Susie goes above and beyond with everything she does. I would HIGHLY recommend them. We appreciate them for everything and will return if we should ever need a surgeon again. Thanks guys, your wonderful! 🙂

In reality,, nobody that I know, wants to have to go through surgery. Unfortunately, its something that people have to endure, at least once in their lifetime. When I found out that I had to go through surgery to fix my hernia, at first my wife and I were very frustrated with everyone we originally called, because, even for a simple consultation, all surgeons were booked out for over 3 months. It all worked out for the absolute best, because Dr. Serranos office took me in immediately, examined me and scheduled my surgery promptly.I couldnt have asked for a better surgeon. Dr. Serrano and his entire staff were amazing, from start to finish. Very professional and a matter of fact. My wife and I are extremely happy with the complete process. Dr Serrano was upfront with me on the procedure and explained everything clearly. He was recommended by my doctor as the best surgeon in AZ and he is correct. His staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

There are not a lot of companies that I believe do a great job, but Dr Serrano and his staff were over the top. Knowledgeable, organized, friendly, and thorough. I recently had my gallbladder removed by Dr. Serrano with Precision Surgery. This was my first ever surgery. Literally have never even broken a bone in my life. So it was my first hospital experience. The first impression, from the first meeting at the doctors office, to the final surgery day, was amazing! The staff at the doctors office were so friendly and polite. Suzie was thorough and made sure I knew all the littlest details. Dr. Serrano himself was so knowledgeable (as expected) but took his time listening to my pain stories and explaining how the procedure would take place. On the day of the surgery, the Metro Surgery Staff were amazing! From the Nurses to the Anesthesiologist and everyone in-between, they all took time to make sure I was comfortable & prepared! While they all do this day in and day out, many times a day, they still took time to sit with me, talk thru the details of the day, answer my questions and make sure I felt like a priority and not just patient number 33 of the day. I had a previous hernia from another Dr who had left 4 staples in such a manner that infection was common place, so that was taken care of along with the new hernia needs. I have never went out of my way to write a bad review. But, in this case, I must warn people of how terrible the job was. I had some very minor surgery done and I could not be more disappointed. There was no stitching done on the wounds, at least on the outside and I have terrible scars and essentially holes in my skin because it wasnt stitched. I bled for over two weeks and am still trying to treat these wounds after over a month. The staff was kind but, the work absolutely terrible. I have had this same surgery done before and this is by far the worst Ive ever had performed. It goes to show just because they are called precision doesnt make it so. Beware.

Amazing surgeon! I had to have an emergency gallbladder surgery and was in debilitating pain. I developed a fever and my eyes turned yellow due to the terrible condition my gallbladder was in.Dr. Serrano made sure I was well aware of what was happening, taken care of, comfortable and had me in surgery right away.He was very attentive and had me follow up with bloodwork a few times after my surgery to make sure my liver levels were back to normal. So thankful he was my surgeon, he saved my life. I would recommend him to anyone!

I found Dr Serrano on Google because I had a large lipoma that needed to be removed. I went to 2 dermetologist but was advised that it was too large and they were unable to refer a specialist. Well lo and behold with my google search, I came across Precision Surgery and Dr Serrano was my Dr and he was so kind and welcoming and did not make me feel uneasy or uncomfortable with the location of the lipoma. Well to make a long story short, He stated that with something this large I would have to go into the hospital for outpatient surgery and It went well and I can now wear outfits that I would normally hide in the closet thanks to the surgery. I feel like a new person and much happier that I got it removed. Thanks Dr. Serrano. He even called 3 times to check on me. I have not had a Dr. Call me directly, Talk about customer service. My laparoscopic gallbladder removal surgery was an amazing experience from start to finish. I have had other surgerys in the past, but I did not describe them as amazing. I had no pain, just soreness. I did not need pain medications. The incision sites healed well with no bleeding or bruising. I was back to work in one week. I truly believe Dr. Serrano is an highly skilled surgeon with an added benefit of kindness. His office staff was professional. I would be remiss without specifically mentioning Suzy, Dr. Serranos surgery scheduler. She was also very kind, professional and got everything done in a timely matter. If I ever need another organ removed (hopefully, not), you can bet I will definitely go back to Dr. Serrano.

Dr. Serrano came to me highly recommended, yet I have never had Surgery before, or for that fact never under Anesthesia. Dr Serrano and staff were terrific. Everyone made sure I was comfortable and the doctor consistently checked in on how I was doing throughout the surgery, making sure I was plenty numb and okay. I had a lipoma along my collarbone embedded in the muscle and he took care to remove it and keep me informed throughout the procedure. I would definitely recommend them and I plan to return in a few months to have a vein procedure.

I am the Medical Assistant here with Dr. Serrano and I help assist him on our in office procedures. I came in on monday with a painful cyst on my leg and I am very satisfied and grateful with the outcome of him treatng the cyst. Hes a great provider and boss to me, he didnt hesitate to get on it right away. I was a little nervous more for the anesthesia because the area was sensitive but the numbing wasnt bad at all. Like going to the dentist. Him and Suzy were very comforting telling me what he was doing during the procedure. Ive worked for him almost 5 years and I trust him and his work. Excellent SurgeonDr Serrano operated on me for a hernia recurrence from 55 years ago. I did not wish to risk having any irritation from mesh and asked him to operate without inserting mesh. He was familiar with the technique and had previously performed such operations.The operation outcome was brilliant. I have had minimal discomfort and a rapid recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Serrano.All communications with the Doctor and his staff were excellent. Both pre and post operation information was well given.

Dr/Surgeon John Serrano was very nice with my dad. He explained very thoroughly the procedure that was going to be down to my dad to repair his 5 hernias and he got it done !!! Major transformation in my dads body and it looks very good. I highly reccomend him to get any internal surgery that you need done !!!
