Feel free not to wear your masks here. Even trainers are not wearing their masks mandated by the state. Over half of the people here are not wearimg them. I hope someone officials see this place. Where is the management!?

I truly dont understand how some people say negative things about this facility. The staff is outstanding, its rarely crazy busy, and its a very friendly feel. Olivia the GM is phenomenal. She does so much to ensure the well-being of her members. She is kind, hard-working, and always willing to help when needed. She is one of a kind. I strongly recommend giving her a call and meeting with her to get a membership.

Absolute best gym in the area! Olivia the General Manager gave me a very detailed tour of the place. She was very professional and very friendly. Helped me narrow down which membership is best for me without being pushy. It’s a very clean facility which is a huge plus! Definitely ask for her for your membership!

Love my gym, but I really wish they enforced the weights being put back in their places better. Some of the people that work out here tend to just leave weights anywhere they want. The staff is friendly though, and the place is always fairly clean. Props to the cleaning staff for always running around making things look nice

I made a VIP pass for my 15 year old son which I have for vacations every year. A sales person who is supposed to activate the pass asks me if my son is willing to buy a membership in the future or if Im using the pass to sneak him into the gym. I said that I have my son for 2 weeks this summer and I wanted to have him in the gym with me for 3 days this week and thats all. The sales person said that I have to buy a three day membership for him for $45 (my membership costs $27 a month).Thank you LA Fitness. Youve just lost a customer whos been with you for 17 years.

Great place to work out. It’s a lot cleaner now than before - I wish it stays that way. And no masks! Masks are optional. I can’t wear a mask when I’m deadlifting heavy.

Terrible staff. My wife has been trying hard to sign up for weeks... which should be easy. Corporate told me it is what it is when I asked about getting signed up over the phone. Poor customer service.

Do not let them Scam you with their training sessions. It’s a total scam and make sure whatever promise you get it in writing . I was promised different things and now all they do is charge my credit card .

Avoid LA fitness as this place is just try to get you in with false promises. We have got trainer for 6 months and the sales guy said that we will have 20 bonus session and our contract of 48 session. So, two paid session per week as part of our plan and 1 bonus session per week of training.The sales guy left the place after a month and now the LA does not honor original agreement.Feels like being scammed.

When LA was closed during quarantine, they still took money from my account for 3 months, and no one ever returned anything. some of the staff are rude. and I also do not understand why they are not allowed to use the closet for things, if someone steals my jacket or boots, LA is not responsible for this, but they are also not allowed to use the closet. very bad. Take off a star for taking money when it was closed, some staff is rude and 3rd star for a closed wardrobe

Our home location was closed and they refused to let us workout at this location even though we pay for guess privileges ($50/month!)The sign at Hanover Park told us to visit any other location while theyre closed for repairs, apparently not!

I went to sign up and get more information. I met with Olivia who was short and not really friendly at all. I was looking for the 0.00 initiation and she sais that stopped over a month ago. And they were not offering anything soon. I told her that their completion was offering the no charge and she shrugged. So I left. I was in the parking lot and called back in to talk to her and the gent that answers said she was too busy to talk that she had 3 or more people waiting. I said that I just left and she was not with anyone and there was no one that came in after I left. He said well shes too busy and shell have to call you back.Poorest customer service I have ever had anywhere.Covid or not.

Olivia and her team do a great job at this location. The environment is upbeat, the staff is friendly and the facilities are kept clean. Definitely recommend this location.

Olivia is pretty much the most unpleasant person I’ve ever met. The machines are good but poor management.

At the gym now and barely anyone has a mask covering their noses. And then you got people just wearing it on their chins. And to top it off we got someone on the elliptical on the second floor, overlooking the space below with no mask whatsoever, could potentially be spreading covid to everyone below 🙄. Makes you not feel bad for SOME of these gyms who were shut down for months

Good place for every type of workout. There are everything what U need such as cardio machines, free weights, a few punching bags, pumping machines for all muscles. Also you can find here a swimming pool with 3 lanes, sauna and jacuzzi .

Very Unprofessional and unfriendly being at the position of General Manager Olivia Cook. Took her 20 mins to come out from the phone call to attend for just signing me up as fresher, and then being unprofessional! Only telling about the costly packages until I showed her whats online and how can she enroll with the price that I want. Im gonna cancel my membership here.

LA fitness is a horrible place to work out .They’ll promise many things and you won’t be able to find that same person anymore . You will be dealing with new people and new rules and no one will believe you .(Olivia is so rude and didn’t have a sense of customer service )DO NOT USE LA and if you became a member, DO NOT BUY TRAINING SECTIONS , they’ll scam you the worst way possible.

Its a spacious gym. I switched over after planet fitness was closed for whatever reason and I got a guest pass to la fitness. I believe that the moment I walked in I decided that I wasnt going back to PF. This gym is cleaner and they actually take your Temp before you can go in. There are a lot more machines available to get what you need done. So far so good.

I feel very disappointed of the services of this place the Manage Daisy not friendly at all, always so rude, Zumba clases are been taking away from us we try to used the room to continue are exercise routine, and They told us NO, this is unceptable my payment remain the same, place is dirty and smells, am thinking seriously change club, with more variety of classes

Very nice gym. Clean and great equipment. Has everything you will need and more. I was from out of town went in to get a daily pass and the manager saw my Firefighter hat on and asked if I was. I am and he let me in know charge. It was highly appreciated of his generosity.

It is a great place for exercise but I could find better places for less price. The LA Fitness team is amazing but the prices are elevated.

Gym is fine, but be ready to be locked in for life. Apparently the manager just happens to never be there when you need to cancel. “Let’s hope people get so annoyed by trying to cancel that they just pay forever to never come in!” Awesome business plan!! I may declare bankruptcy just to win.

I love coming to train at La FITNES because? because you have spaces for all needs, functional, crossfit, racquetball, volleyball, basket, spinning, pool, sauna! incredible, that if not all have sauna and racquetball for that you must register completely so you enjoy all the LA FiTNESS nationwide.

What a great facility and staff!! I was on the road during prep for my first season and needed to find a GREAT gym. I was definitely pleased when Ray picked up the phone to tell me that not only were day passes available but he would love for me to be his guest! What outstanding service and a clean, fully stocked facility. I could not be happier that I didn’t have to skip or skimp on my workouts just because I wanted to travel and see family over the long weekend. Thank you for making that possible Ray and the staff at LA Fitness!!

Great location with everything you need for a great workout. They have a three lane lap pool, second floor devoted to cardio machines, ab space, TRX, weights, racquetball courts (not in use during covid). They keep things sanitized, they check everyones temp as they come in the door. My only complaint is they have Fox News playing in the locker rooms.

The best by far! Staff is friendly, the personal trainers are nice! Lots of equipment no waiting in line to use any of it!!!!

I still use this LA Fitness location but for me, there is one drawback and it is the temperature of the sauna. I am a true sauna enthusiast and I sauna every day. Today I spoke with Anthony and Samantha regarding the consistent 180-degree temp. which is a tad too hot for most of us IF you want to spend time there relaxing. Also, the sauna needs an upgrade because the benches are in need of repair or replacement.Samantha, the manager seemed open to discussing the sauna with upper management.Anthony is a true gem. He really went above and beyond to respond to me = to listen, to understand and WANTED to help resolve my concerns. He is a young man who understands what true customer service is. I hope he becomes a manager some day...

I just got my jacket stolen. Yep, day before Christmas Eve. It seems the same person has done this 3 times. When I brought it to the attention of the person in front. She smirked and said we can’t do anything. Either she is apart of the problem or not a part of the solution. She didn’t want to give me her managers info either.3 people had their jackets stolen in less than 4 days. They don’t care about it. Hey but they had Santa Claus going around at 5:30am saying hi to everyone.Nice job LAfitness. Thanks for caring about your customers. Lifetime here I come.

Great place for workout and not crowded when I workout.

I am greeted by Michelles warm smile and happy demeanor first thing every morning. She listens to and addresses any and every concern with true professionalism. Thanks LA Fitness !

The sauna is still not open.

I was in town for a military transfer and contacted LA Fitness to discuss a temporary membership. Ray helped me out with a guest pass that lasted for my time in town. The facility was very clean and had ample equipment.

Perfect gym with wonderful equipment. The trainers are very skilled and professional. The gym ks located in an amazing location.

Nice fitness center. It is centrally located, fitted with very high quality gym equipment. The swimming pool is very well maintained, with coaching facilities for children. The changing rooms and showers are excellent. Worth being a member of this facility and maintaining not only good health but a good regimen.

Great gym overall. Best priced place for everything they offer. My only complaint is their weekend hours. Saturday and Sunday are 8 am - 8 pm. Some people get up early on weekends and some people like to workout late on weekends. Would be 5 stars if the hours were better!

Not bad. Usually plenty of cardio equipment to pick from. Weight machine and free weight area is where I give the 2 stars. Feels crowded that I don’t even bother using free weights. Machine variety is decent but some machines need the cables tightened to get better range of motion. Leg machines are always available.

I have to say I love the pool

Great place all of their machines were working and seem to be well maintained. Staffs were friendly and did accommodated me well. The weighs were organized too.

Been going here for 3 years and the gym is always clean and the employees are always eager to help. Recommended.

Been a member of LA for over 14 years and it’s sad to say that in the BATHROOMS I’ve seen many flies, and fruit fly looking bugs in the shower and the stalls... the equipment and other stuff is good but the cleanliness of this place is ridiculous

This place is awesome. Super clean facility, super friendly staff, and the trainers are top notch. Ryans my guy. i recommend seeing him with any interest in joining the gym. Hes got all the information and will work with you to get you a membership! easiest 5 stars i have ever had to give. I also recommend Milad too, both great fellas!

I go to this gym every chance I get on the way back to the city from work. Has a a basketball court and classes everyone will enjoy. The atmosphere is full of positive energy.

Good place. Mostly, a great place to workout. Some times It gets pretty crowded and you have to wait for the machines, but if you are willing to wait a little this LA Fitness has a great atmosphere and good energy from the staff.

Great gym with lots to do. Monthly rates are very reasonable for how much they offer to members. And very clean as well. Glad to join and recommend this place. Very pushy to make you pay for personal trainer. They try to make you feel bad about not wanting to do it

Raymond Fox is a great GM. Good, clean workout facilities. It was nice to get a good workout while in town for a short stay.

Over all, I do like this gym. Nice equipment and great classes are offered. Enjoy working out here. But I will say that the front desk employees greeting should show a little more enthusiasm. I think the only employees that actually greet and are nice with the members are at the Fit Fresh Juice Bar. Especially Daniel, hes very awesome

One of the best gym I’ve been to. They have almost all the equipment you need and very spacious.

Staff doesnt do much here. Its 6 am and dumbbell racks are half empty! I have to wander and look for dumbbells that are spread all over the place. Same thing with plates. And its usually like that. I dont remember if I ever saw anyone leaving the front desk to do something else than going to the restroom. Disappointing...

Love how big it is! Love that they have a swimming pool, sauna kids club, etc. Everything looks new and no broken machines. Also love how every single cardio machine has a TV. Just wish it was open a little longer or 24-7. Oh well, cant have everything. Also has a nice juice/snack bar.

LA Fitness has a lot to offer for its price. I signed up primarily for the pool and the free weights. There are plenty of free weights and machines. Although a lot of people are there at prime time (right after work), most people cycle through the equipment pretty quick so wait time is very low. The pool is a little cloudy, but it serves its purpose just fine for lap swim.The sauna was a bonus I didnt know about.

Been a patron for 4 years now, good location and facility. Cordial people- but horrible internal controls. I left my weight lifting belt because the janitor got locked out and everything gets stolen. Managements needs better internal controls because they always try to avoid liability. No one likes leaving their stuff behind intentionally.Another instance I told them to hold on to a water bottle since my colleague left it and they trashed it. Not sure why it is so hard for them to understand that inevitably people will forget their stuff and they need to be better at these things..

After swimming if I have to dry my swim short.Their is no dryer, to dry my swimming clothesWhich is wet. In summer their is no problem,But in winter u cant keep wet clothes with dry clothes in my gym bag. Every swimming poolIn U.S has portable dryer for clothes in changing room.But not in L.A fitness.

I had to block LA fitness from charging my bank account because they would not cancel my contract. I sent all paperwork and each time I call they are very apologetic, they say they will update the system, but yet my account was charged each month. Big hassle for me, I will not return to this scam place.

Very impressed with the staff. Go above and beyond to keep the gym clean. The manager even goes around cleaning up to make sure it’s a clean facility and a great experience.

The place is very spacious and there is a good amount of equipment and things to do. I am excited about classes they offer. Also Miad was nice and tried to explain me what will be the best option for my needs.

The gym is very nice and has a good staff.The little drink and food store is horrible, food takes for ever, the girl who works there acts inconvenienced by asking her to do her job, she has no clue what curiosity is and i an extremely unpleasant young lady.The store is not connected to the gym.

Fitness center itself is very good, but sometimes gets really crowded, I cant get to find a treadmill to work on. Also they started charging $$ for frozen memberships, which was not the case earlier. I never signed anything for that nor I got any notifications. I just came to know because my credit card company notified me of increased charges from previous months..

Do not get a membership here. The place is filthy and they dont maintain anything. The air conditioning in the group class room has been broken for 3 weeks during the hottest time of the year. The exercise mats are always filthy and ripped. The floor in the group class room is never cleaned. There were blood spots on the floor for weeks. The locker rooms are littered with garbage and the paper towels are never refilled. They have been offering the same group classes for the past 4 years without updating. There is a crime problem in the parking lot so dont every leave anything of value in your car. In other words, dont waste your money on this place.

I’ve been going to this gym for the past 2 years. It used to be a great gym, but not anymore. They charge you even if u freeze you’re membership. Only reason I was still going was cause it was the closest from where I reside. After u cancel you’re membership, they will still charge you for the next couple months for no reason at all which is very petty. They close early on the weekends and the bathrooms are always dirty. They will lie to you in order for u to sign up with them.

The high ceilings are cool. The place could be cleaner though.

Im member over 3 years . Im disappointed that you can not invite friends or family. They always asking for money . The customer service there is fake friendly ignorants . They only count that you will buy more service, when they find out you just want ask for offers they try to get rid of you. They do not respect members.Plus for new equipment and clean place but atmosphere is unmotivated.

I’ve been going to this location for a couple of years. I really like it because of the wide assortment of machines. They have a basketball court, sauna, racquetball courts, spin cycles, etc. There’s a lot of ways to break a good sweat here.

Customer service going bad, rude and unwelcoming attitude...

What terrible service. I came to visit my sister and niece and they invited me to workout with them one day. I printed the guest pass and two managers kept forcing me to join. Im already a member of another gym where I live, but they didnt care. They told me I couldnt work out there until I listened to all their membership options. Isnt a fee guest pass one to see if you want to work out there? Then see the membership options????? Terrible terrible first impression! My sister called them earlier in the week too because one of their employees was smoking cannabis in the parking lot in their work shirt. Well she is no longer a member now because of the attitude they gave her too! If you want to build a reputation and clientele, dont follow LA Fitness example and for sure dont pay money to go here.

The maintenance crew, especially in the mornings are horrible. The guy changes the garbage bags, but there are never any paper towels refilled. In general they dont do much. They just walk around. Music that they play there is always the same playlist every single day. Horrible atmosphere and vibe.

This gym is great - until you hit the lockers. Like all former Ballys locations, the equipment is old, but the location is airy and bright. I have not noticed any broken-down equipment, or out of order signs.The staff has been very nice. Ive only been there on weekends, so I havent had to deal with the daytime and/or weekday staff. Nor have I had any problems, so I havent truly put the staff to the test. But Ill reiterate, the ones I have talked to were very nice.The lockers are disgusting. The toilet section smells like stale urine. The floor is hilly, leaving puddles on the floor that make it slippery and treacherous. The lockers themselves are a hundred years old, and are beat up and rusty. I would not recommend this place for someone looking for a gym.

Lets see. Its usually overcrowded. Not enough bench presses. Not open 24-7. Not enough clips for all the bench and squat bars. For some reason there is always a few employees standing up front doing nothing. Maybe have them walk around and clean up the place since no one else does. Will be going elsewhere soon. SORRY HAD TO UPDATE MY REVIEW TO ONE STAR DUE TO THIS PLACE PERIODICALLY HAVING A 3RD PARTY COMPANY POSTED UP BY THE ENTRANCE TRYING TO SELL CHIROPRACTIC SERVICES.

My Glendale Heights club is amazing! Awesome instructors, great workouts and super friendly staff. Enough equipment for everyone, and clean facility. All ages and abilities catered to.

I do not recommend this gym to others. I dont want to make this a look review so Ill just keep it short. The bathrooms always smell bad and are unkept. Some equipment needs repair, they shake and rattle and overall feel like it will come apart soon. The staff just doesnt care and wont mind texting in front of you as you want for them to finish. Salesmen are sketchy.Tldr dont come here. There are better gyms nearby

Its a good gym which does offer alot from treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, free- and machine- weights, and classes. It provides what i need. The staff always greets me when i enter and sometimes say good bye when i leave. My biggest issue are people who sit on machines between reps ON THEIR PHONE! i recently witnessed a guy on the hamstring curl machine for at least 10 minutes, purely on his phone. The staff should walk around ensuring that people are using the machines in a timely matter. I like to get in, get my work out done, and leave. And while there are signs in the bathrooms about cell phone usage being prohibited, i see women on their phone constantly. I feel very uncomfortable and am force to use a bathroom stall for changing. When they built this facility, it would have been wise to add changing stalls. It would be nice if staff monitored phone use in the locker rooms.

I’d give this a zero if I could. Such squalor. Good luck finding free weights. They’re thrown across the gym, missing or just not put back in their respected place. The carpet is all torn up, the tricep extension rope is shredded to a string. They do not have enough weights for their classes, so they come take the free weights off the rack. No etiquette from members. The 20 year old Managers do not care.

Dont listen to Bruno S. He cant even use proper grammar and misspelled every other word. The locker rooms are clean and have nice wooden ones. The machines are up to date unlike some around my area.

Customer service at its best. I signed up for a free trial for this location. within seconds I get a call from Milad Khamisi welcoming to their club. I planned on going in few days but due to his call I walked in the same day just to use my pass. When I went there, he gave me a tour and before I even know it, I signed up. 5 star to the club and his skills. I have been going there for a month now. I love it. glad I joined them.
