If youre taking meds that coat your stomach or have any issues with absorption of meds. But they think a GI Dr doesnt know what they do. They think since med that they dont prescribe for you shows up and the little bit they give you doesnt show up. They dont care. Yes accusing of running out or not taking them. Didnt realize that the NP run the medical SIDE of the practice. Utter oh yeah you are treated like cattle as long as you have medical insurance

All the doctors, PAs, nurses, and staff are very kind and make this office feel very welcoming. Everyone is compassionate and truly practices comprehensive pain medicine. Wait times are not bad either. Despite being a very busy clinic the staff is always helpful when it comes to insurance problems or issues filling medications.

Just visited the Glen Burnie, Md office and was told by the doctor that she is not qualified to do a medical exam for a back herniated disc. How are you an orthopedic doctor and not qualified to do a basic exam and to write a certification letter that states auxiliary issues are related to the primary issue. NEVER EVER use this center if you can!

I am so thankful for Dr. Nargund and the staff at this location, theyve done their best to try to keep people safe. And theyre always very nice and accommodating. Ive been coming for about seven years and believe me I wouldnt come back if it wasnt comfortable. Thank you Glen Burnie spine and pain Center.

Staff is very informative and friendly. They answer any questions you nave have. The facility is very clean and sterile. My experience with the Spine and Pain Center has always been positive and I will continue to use their service.

Love the doctor loved the staff exspecliety Josh he is amazing my problem was the urinalysis department they made a HUGE mistake got a letter in the mail that said I had something in my system I went and paid for a hair follicle test that proved my innocence and they took no accountability and throu me out like trash I was a patient for 6 yrs so no matter what if they mess up u will take the fall sad also there was an elderly woman a month prior telling me they done the same thing to her husband so beware they are known to do this never did I think it would happen to me but it did

Dr. Nargund was great but the office staff is just plain awful. The doctor ordered an MRI but it was rejected by my insurance company. I called several times to ask what the next steps were following the rejection and no one ever got back to me. At one point during the process to try and get the MRI approved I called to let them know what my insurance company was asking for and one of the medical assistants literally told me that what I was asking for was not her problem. It has gotten to the point that I have had to file a formal complaint about the office with my insurance company and search for a new pain management doctor. Which if you have had to be on pain management for any length of time you know is no easy task.

My wife came for radioablasion therapy.She was grossly mistreated. This place treats people like slabs of meat, no compassion, just to get as many shots in to collect insurance.Shameful place

Its very hard getting someone on the phone. I had an MRI done, Im having a hard time getting someone on the phone to get results and make an appointment with Dr. to get proper treatment. Service is okay if you can get appointment.

1. Employees are very professional and appointments start ON time!2. I only dealt with Dr. He and I must say she is absolutely AMAZING at what she does to the human body! She did not over promise to give me false hope. My back is FIXED and life is good again!!3. I initially read various articles on how risky the back injections are.... and, how people should look for alternative measures. Nonsense!! They need to find Dr. He and get fixed if they’re fixable! She and her assistants are a blessing. 15 out of 10-STARS!!!!!!

The experience was unstressful. I was called from my car and entered the office. I completed intake info and was seen quickly. Everyone was masked and efficient. I was in and out in a very timely manner. I was impressed with the whole appointment. Thank you very much.

For years I very been trying to get treatment for my nerve pain, time after time year after year same oh same oh from doctor to doctor 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️My Primary Doctor I have now referred me to National Spin and Pain Center where I met a team of friendly and kind people hands up to Doctor Nargund who actually show me she care ❤ without any run around she listened and the first time shes starting on the exciting road to recovery. I wish there was a minus for the Stars, I dont even want to give them one star but it wont let me leave a review without it. While the doctors there are good, The office is very poorly ran, I should have changed Doctors after not being able to get them to send the paperwork to the imaging center for my MRI, after a week and a half I had to actually drive to their office because no one would answer the phone or call you back when you left a message, after dealing with them for 2 months (Mostly because I did not want to start the process all over with another Doctor) I have had enough. Their promise that they would call me as soon as my insurance company approved my next procedure, (I received a letter from my insurance company saying my procedure was approved on 9/17) has forced me to do just that, Now after 2 weeks and numerous calls with no answer or call back from them. Im trying to get someone to send my records to my new Doctor. Im now (two weeks after my first request) am being told I need to sign a release. These people could care less that Im in pain.

I cant thank Dr. He and the team at National Spine & Pain Center enough. I had sharp lower back pain for over a year and an MRI showed 3 bulging discs. I was very hesitant to see a Pain Management specialist because my first thought was drugs. Dr. He took the time to explain what my MRI results meant, explained the treatment (lumbar epidural steroid injections) in detail, and made me feel at ease during the procedures. I would 100% recommend Dr. He to anyone and would seek her out for any future issues. Thanks to Dr. He I am PAIN FREE!

The staff is rude, and they don’t help you! Trying to get ahold of anyone is impossible, nor do they call you back. My mri was denied three times, and they refused to help me. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with my insurance company, and all they needed was mor information and they refused to send. I’m in excruciating pain from nerve damage and they could care less.

Everything abut the National Spine & Pain Center in Glen Burnie was a very positive experience. From the appearance of the facility, cleanliness of the facility, greeting and help at reception. Very short wait time. My husband and I were VERY pleased with Dr. Justin Park. He took time with us. Explained my condition in terms that we could understand. Showed the problems on screen while explaining. Discussed options in detail. Felt very comfortable and assured being cared for by Dr. Park.

While I like Dr He I don’t like how this practice runs. It’s been 2 weeks and 3 phone messages and no one returns calls. I’ve never had a problem like this getting through to a doctor. Especially one who is a specialist. Over a month ago I had same experience with calling and no response. I ended up talking to a scheduler who twice put me through to office to only be hung up on after picking up without even talking to me. And I’m supposed to trust them putting needles in my back?

UPDATE: Dr He contacted me herself as well as office management to address the message issue. I appreciate them handling the issue. Just wanted anyone who read my previous review to know that it is a problem they are aware of and dealing with.

National spine and pain center, the ladies at the front desk are very friendly. I see Jessica Ward, she is extremely thorough with me. She is always kind, also concerned about how I am feeling. I am usually always called back in a timely manner. I never have to wait to be seen. They are extremely good with seeing you the time that you are scheduled.

National Pain and Spine, Glen Burnie Office, have stuck with me in my thoughts...... a pain issue problem that could not be helped.Dr. Nargund and Angela, CRNP......not to forget Ms.Sandra Office Manager, Blair and professional front desk staff have been kind and unrelenting in helping me.Dr. Nargund listens to us people in severe pain and works hard to give us back some life we have lost due to serious injuries. I’ve been associated with National Spine and Pain for over 7 years. They have mostly been very good to me. However, his last time, during a tele-medicine appointment, I was switched to another provider because my original person had an emergency. I understand emergencies, but I was not called and by the time I found out, the appointment was over and I had to make another for next week. I am out of meds and they offered to send it to Walgreens, but they couldn’t figure it out. So now I’m out of my meds and have to suffer. This is not good business.

Very good and pleasant visit. The reception is very good. Never have to wait, when on time out right away. When not on time they still get you schedule. Love the staff,all are pleasant, thanks for the service.

I would highly recommend National Spine & Pain Center to anyone who needs Pain Management!! The staff are courteous and friendly, appointments are always on time!! And you are treated with dignity, respect and compassion which I Greatly appreciate as other centers certainly lack all three~ at least in my experiences with them. Also I have Never been Forced to have injections that unfortunately don’t help my conditions. Which I welcomed at first because I thought it would benefit me, but after several attempts to get some relief I found unfortunately the injections didn’t help me. But that didn’t seem to matter to those doctors, it was mandatory or else you were dealt with... they would find a way to release you as a patient!! I’m sorry this is lengthy but I So appreciate the excellent level of care I have received each and every visit that I Hope anyone who is suffering and needs treatment will try this Center~ You will be giving yourself a gift!!

Everyone there is pleasant and helpful and I have never had to wait more than 20 minutes or so. The medical staff helps me deal with my pain issues as best as they know how. I am very thankful that it has not 🐝 an unpleasant experience.

As a patient of the National Spine and Pain centers for just over eight years I can report that I have had various continuing chronic pain and would recommend their services to those that are seeking relief from a temporary situation to a long-term situation such as I have. Having pain is a very serious and complex issue these days and finding someone that you can go to and feel comfortable knowing that you will be looked at as a patient a person and get the treatment that is required to help your situation specifically. All pain can never be taken away completely they say the average is 70% thats why its called pain management the patient themselves also play a major role and making sure that they are not doing activities that are outside of their limitations. But in my review I would say that I would recommend this faculty in Glen Burnie and the Personnel behind the counter also have a very compassionate and a sense of real concern of the patient as a person. Patients need to understand that pain management resources have to deal with major concerns of Roblox with insurance companies and pharmacies and have to deal with prior authorizations on a daily basis so theyre all under a lot of stress so their ability to manage not only your concerns and taking care of the other issues that are involved that people dont think about such as insurance and Pharmacy attitudes come into play. So just as any doctors office if you have an issue that you think you hadnt been treated properly you got to understand that these people have to deal with insurance companies other doctors and Pharmacy restrictions on the distribution of pain medications but National Spine & pain centers do help with their attitudes being supportive of your condition and your welfare

The staff at the National Spine and Pain Center is very friendly and oh so helpful. The doctors are very knowledgeable and offer numerous suggestions to help control pain. I have been seeing this group of doctors for over 10 years now and would highly recommend them to anybody that is struggling with pain.

Love the crew of ladies in the front, Blair is the best, credit to you all of you though! They are always smiling, laughing , treating me and all your patients with extra special care. Genesis is also ahhh-mazing she is in the back, i see Dr. Nargund, she is wonderful, credit also to Travis, and Addy , great staff and great atmosphere.

Mr. Hahn is always thourough, takes his time with me and makes me feel like he really cares how I am doing. I will never go back. Very unfriendly staff. Doctor Nargund was just ok. Make you wait every time for at least 20 min. Then they try to reschedule you if your even a minute late. Not very customer friendly. Avoid and wait for an apt at a better provider than trying to sneak one in here.... not worth the time.

I met with Dr. Nargund for the first time and was impressed with her manner, knowledge of my condition and suggested treatment. She worked with me to fit my schedule for an upcoming trip and, so far, the process is working well. My only complaint about the center is the very repetitive paper filing, most of which is on file, yet needs to be re-filed numerous times on badly laid out forms. Otherwise, a very good experience, including the injection procedure.

I am a new patient, appearing for my 2nd visit today. I was living in western MD and seeing a pretty good spine specialist. Recently moved to Glen Burnie and seeking a new pain center. Wow I thought Newbride was good but Dr. He is the absolute best. She is extremely knowledgeable, exceotional, compassionate yet professional. And she actually listens to me. The office staff are nice, friendly and professional. Scoring 1 out of 10, I would give National a 10++

Loved this place at first. My husband is in a wheelchair and accidentally put a hole in the nurse practitioners wall. After that it was all bad vibes. And they said he had nothing in his system and discharged him. But the weird part is they discharged him with a prescription for his meds for withdrawal purposes. Well if he had nothing in his system why would you give him a script and say we know that with your condition you need pain management but we cant work with you. I think it was bs. Which is sad because he really liked the place no waiting and was in and out. My husband was shot 2 years ago and now is out of meds because other places have to look into it before seeing him since they said he didnt have anything in his system when he takes his meds every day!! Hes in the process of trying to walk and cant even go to therapy because he is in so much pain!!! Really messed up. At first was 5 stars but this just isnt right I give it 0

I absolutely love Mr Hahn at Glen Burnie National Spine & Pain. He is always very helpful and a very caring gentleman. I have been seeing him for years and I have never seen him grumpy or having a bad day. He has ALWAYS faced me with a smile and positive attitude which is quite refreshing considering the hell I can only imagine all pain management doctors go through dealing with people who are in chronic pain and feeling awful. I know it can’t be easy dealing with us pain patients whether we’re sleep deprived, grumpy, discouraged, emotional or just a distraught crying mess from pain wreaking havoc on our bodies. I have cried my eyes out in his office and he truly listened patiently showing me respect, encouragement and kindness. I see Dr Nargund as well and she too is a lot like Mr Hahn but I didn’t get to see her as much and she will do as much as she possibly can to get you out of pain or feeling as good as you possibly can. She has given me quite a few different kinds of injections, nerve burnings etc and has been the best there is every single time. The only pain I felt was little pinches to numb me before the procedures. Their equipment seems very updated and it’s very convenient to get procedures because they do them right there in their office in a special room without a lot of unnecessary steps before and after and that really saves you time and you are looked after by a very nice gentleman after who monitors you and offers you a snack, drink and disposable ice packs for home. I’d say 99% of the rest of the staff there has always been very kind and helpful. Wait times lately have been an hour or less to see Mr Hahn, he’s usually fairly quick but to see the doctor has been quite a bit longer lately. With all the changes I’ve been reading about these doctors have been having to face it’s understandable. The staff is also wonderful and have also been very kind and helpful. I’m not just sucking up, they truly deserve 5 stars. Thank you to everyone who has helped me with my pain, scheduling, paperwork, urinalysis etc. All of you deserve 5 stars you are all exceptional in my book!

Been going to this location for 5 years and I am finally fed up. The pre authorization department is non existent!!!!! The office doesn’t answer there phone and I have been without medicine for over 2 weeks and going through withdrawals!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was very impressed with how smoothly everything went. Their system works for me! Seemed organized. Also, credit is due to the staff, they were very friendly & knowledgable.

I saw Dr. Daly, but usually Mr. Han for years, until moving out of state this week. I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience. Ive found them to be courteous, compassionate, and they seemed to try hard to understand my individual case. The office was extraordinarily patient with appointment changes, which I had to do often because of one car struggles with my husband. Mr. Han is super attentive, and I never felt rushed to unheard.I cant recommend this place enough.

Basically a pill mill. A pill mill that seems to try and push as many people through as possible. I had various procedures with Dr. Nargund. I must say she was nice....but after a while I began to suspect she had a few procedures she knew and just used them, and pills. Staff was not great, but not the worst. I would go elsewhere if you are looking to actually feel better.

Was a paitent for almost 6 years . Watch when you get injections that the dr doesnt bend the needles. Trick of the trade they said . Bs they injured me more then once and when I questioned them about it it was blown off. All they know how to do is get you dependent on opioids. And when they get paper work confused because of Incompetence they dismiss you . If you value your health do not go to national spine and pain I have yet talked face to face with upper management. Also never did I say I needed more medication than what was prescribed.

I never seen this Dr. but seen Dr. Daly then under Travis Baird monthly care for 3 years and this place is the worst they make mistakes then discharge u on there mistakes and treat u like some street trash I will be reporting them for there uncaring medical negligence. I have never felt such disrespect and straight ignorance from anyone especially a Dr. office.

The doctors are good but the staff is IGNORANT !! and run the place like a jail if you say anything they don`t like they will decide to discharge you and will not even let you talk the doctor they act like it is their office I thought the doctor was in charge. and they do not know how to process authorizing I had to fight every month calling to get my medicine because they don`t know how to deal the insurance stay away far away!!!

I was a patient of Doctor Daly for over 5 years until I relocated out of the area this year. Doctor Daly is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with in the 10 years I have been injured. He is caring, respectful, and has a genuine desire to help his patients.As far as the staff goes, I have NEVER had any sort of an issue. They handle medical record requests in a timely manner, and go out of their way to address any issue. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone that has a genuine need for a PM Doctor to see Doctor Daly.

The entire office is very unprofessional and most of the people that go there are junkies. Some guy was in office throwing up and screaming... they let the vomit sit in the trash the entire time I was there . Never again! The only 5 star employee there is Whitney.

Very unhappy with this group of providers. They do not seem to care at all. They push procedures that are not effective because thats how they make their money. Its just plain sad. I would not recommend them.

If I could give 0 stars, I would for this place. This place is a utter joke. My Husband went there for managing pain for his degenerative discs in the cervical area of the spine. RFA neurolysis was suggested. The whole place (including the Dr we saw , Dr Nargund) looks like they want to just push as many people as possible through, with no regard or compassion for patients. The billing department screwed up and wanted to charge us 3000 dollars. Had to followup for weeks before they corrected it. My husband was in severe pain and was able to obtain an appt for the RFA procedure only after 2 weeks because we needed insurance authorization. They never started the auth paper work until a week in and only because we called in to see if the appt can be moved up. On the day of the procedure, we found out in the OR that they obtained the insurance authorization for the wrong side of the spine (hello is anyone even listening to the patient). So rescheduled us without even a word of sorry from anyone in the staff including the Dr (Nargund). My Husband has to keep losing time on his job and continue to be in severe pain until then. STAY AWAY from this place. We will be after this procedure.

They made a mistake and discharged me when I had permission from Travis to have meds from my cancer ob after removal surgery and was discharged instead of correcting the issues they have dodge me and made it worse. Not to mention my records are a joke. If you go here request your records and read them so you can have a good laugh.

I been coming here for years and sometimes they piss me off but that’s usually because of the pain makes me that way. Having so many different state rules is what drives me crazy and the hestria over controlled prescriptions. How come it started over heroine in the debates and now all opioids.

I wish they had negative stars. DONT EVER GO HERE!!!!!! They are the absolute worse. There billing department are incompetent. Two weeks before Christmas they said they required like $968, which I paid. Then they were not asking for co-pays so I said fine. In February I saw $926 in the upper right corner of my paperwork. I asked what that was and they said my credit. I asked were they going to refund that to my at any point in time or even tell me I had a credit. The previous year they said I owed over $500 the day I was there for my nerve block in so much pain and denied my nerve block. Thirty days later after talking back and forth between my insurance company and their billing it turned out I didnt own them anything!!!! There were several charges to doctors I never seen on my insurance invoices. I reported to my insurance company. I went there for over 3 years. The first year was just Opioids even though every month I complained about how much pain I was in. The second year I found out on my own about nerve blocks and within 4 weeks after getting nerve block in neck and back I was considerably better and for the first time in years able to go to lunch with my family on a weekend. Until then I was in bed if not working. I was still really really sick all the time and would complain every month how they needed some type of case management there. After over three years they were tiered of me complaining and kicked me out saying I was mean to them and abusive because thats how they can get rid of you if they want. I was holding them accountable and they had no answers for minimum good care so they kicked me out. After going to another pain management and hating the Opioids for so long I stopped the Opioids and it was then we realized IT WAS THE OPIOIDS MAKING ME SICK!!!!!! This is a known condition that my new doctor said that I couldnt begin to spell. A known condition that left me debilitated for years and National Spine & Pain did nothing but ignored all my pleas for help and instead kick me out by sending a letter when Im there 1 to 3 times a week. I wasnt checking my mailbox because I was that sick. I had medication and nerve blocks appointments scheduled after the date they were going to refuse to see me and they said nothing. I called their Corporate office in Bethesda and spoke to Michelle Wilson several times over the years to complain and there was no improvement. I told her how they kicked me out because I would complain about being sick and they needed case management and she did nothing. NATIONAL SPINE AND PAIN MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR PAIN. SOME OF THE STAFF ARE NICE, HOWEVER SOME ARE SO IGNORANT AND MEAN THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS WORKING WITH PEOPLE OR ANIMALS, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE IN PAIN. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT BILLING YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY FOR EVERYTHING THEY CAN BILL FOR AND KEEPING YOU ADDICTED TO OPIOIDS. THEY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED.
