All Star Pain Management gets me back on my feet and helps me stay active, to the best of my ability, with minimal pain. Dr. Zed is very patient and explains every procedure. He also answers any questions or concerns I have. The staff is respectful and responsive. I would recommend this to anyone whose life has been disrupted by chronic pain. It has been a game changer and a blessing to me.

Would not recommend going here. Dr. Zed does not listen to what you have to say or pay attention to your medical history. After explaining I had reaction to steriods after a procedure that kept me in the hospital an additional five days, he still is only interested in pushing steriod shot treatment. These can be very dangerous even deadly to people with certain conditions. After getting a second opinion the doctor recommend not getting steriod treatments without being admitted to the hospital ICU first.Dr. Zed is willing to do it in his office. There are also other options that should be considered first and this is the only option Dr. Zed has offered.

I would highly recommend this practice as long as you are NOT scheduled with Nurse Practitioner Janet Ascione.(Dont know if I spelled the last name correctly) Dr. Zed and P.A. Patrick are fantastick. I recently had a major back surgery and 3 weeks out this ladies bed side manner and attitude ..well lets just say it was poor and nasty at best. She has no compassion and makes things up as she goes. She tells you one thing over the phone and then changes her mind and tells you your surgeon doesnt know what they are talking about. I recommend the practice however if you are scheduled with Janet get a different provider or go to a different practice.

I’m beyond impressed with my experience at All Star Pain Management. Janet is very professional, a great listener and provides exceptional care every appointment. The office staff in both locations are consistently prompt, welcoming and attentive. It’s a wonderful feeling knowing your doctor actually cares about your well-being and takes the time to explain their thinking. Suffering from pain is no easy endeavor but since my first visit the agony has ceased to disrupt my daily routine. I would highly recommend making an appointment, you’ll be relieved that you did!

I was going there for over 4 years. One day, I received a call that I was being discharged because of my urinalysis. I was told something showed up. I said, hold on, wait, let me take it again, something must be wrong. The tech said no and Janet was firm with her decision. I could not believe what I was hearing. I was very satisfied with the medication that I was getting and did not feel a need to take anything else. I often told Janet that I was thankful and satisfied for finally getting on meds that made a difference. I’m over 60 years old, still working and also have grands in my care. I didn’t have a reason to seek other drugs to take. Everything was fine. The most disappointing thing is, i thought Janet and I had a better relationship than to just dismiss me, like I was nothing. We talked every visit. I thought that she would have thought there must be something wrong. I wasn’t given a chance to talk to her or to get another test. I’d never had a bad test before in the years that I was there. Something should have told her that something must be wrong. I was with this office before they changed their name to All Star. Like I said, I was satisfied. My prescribed medication was allowing me to handle my daily tasks a lot better. I had no reason to try or take anything else. I thought we had a real doctor patient 😊relationship. Boy was I fooled. Also, I called and asked if she would reconsider and after being placed on hold, the receptionist said all discharges were final. I asked, well, what happens to me ? I never got a call back. Just that quick, I was discarded like old paperwork.

I have been a patient here for more than 10 years now and I could not say enough good things about the way you are treated. I am a person who expects to be treated in a proper fashion and would not hesitate to change doctors if I need to. So when I say I recommend this office you can be assured of being treated like a human being.

Yesterday I had my first appt. With Dr. Zed. I was so nervous .My son and I walked in and was greeted by a very nice lady. That was a plus. Then all the ladys turned around and said hi that right there showed me I was going to be taking care of. Then when Dr. Zed . Came in the room he shook my hand and my son and he ask what I was there for he was the first Dr. To listen to me and he knew just what needs to be done after many years of pain in hips he hit the nail on the head the first visit yahoo. I got a winner . I think I will keep him .Lol Dr. Zed does not rush you he let me tell her everything I wanted to about my pain even if it was little . I thank God I found a Doctor that listen to me and now I received shots in my hips and he going to keep up on my pain level .God Bless you Dr. Zed I am looking forward to taking this journey with you . I really dont know how the pain management is but I tried scheduling a appointment with this place and it was horrible first space told me off saying I need to do to get records from my old pain management I had a discharge letter and I was discharged from my old pain management due to transportation problems so I tried to schedule an appointment and I was told that they had to review these records I was supposed to receive a call back from Miss Ashley on a Friday and never did and I was prescribe Suboxone one time because I was unable to hold down medication orally and first Miss Ashley said that thats the reason why Im not allowed to be in all Star because they dont take in patients that are on that medication and I explained to her that I was only prescribed it one time and havent been prescribed it since cuz I didnt like how it affected me I had several side effects so Miss Ashley had stood me up for about 2 weeks and I was forced to speak with her supervisor and the supervisor kept on repeating the same thing over and over again that Im on Suboxone that they do not accept patients that take that so again I explain to this lady that Im on the phone with now the same thing that I dont want to take suboxone that I would like to get prescribed something different anyway so after that thats when they went on the saying I took a urine test and didnt have Suboxone in it and I went on to tell her that I had never took in a urine test while I was on that medication I was only prescribed at that one time and they refused to allow me to come to their facilityand she also went on to say that my urine test had to have had a substance in it that wasnt supposed to be in it is and I told her but thats not true that I can get the proofand she just still didnt want to hear it so her and Miss Ashley were in all this together and I would never recommend talking to them until you get your appointment scheduled because the lady that scheduled the appointments I hate to say it but her and Miss Ashley in on it together

I have been going to this location for over 2 years now. 4 injections done by Dr. Zed pre and post surgery. His original nurse practitioner Alina Messick was kind, supportive, and helpful. She would spend 30-45 minutes just talking to me every appointment to see how things were going. Sadly she moved on from this practice. Enter Janet Ascione. Since the first appointment with her she has been very curt and pretty much rude at times. I have been on pain pills for almost 2 years. In those 2 years I have never had any incidents, never missed an appointment, nothing. Since day 1 Janet treated me like and made me feel like I was abusing medication or something, mind you Im prescribed a very minor 5mg/375mg hydrocodone/tylenol. In the 1.5 years before Janet I took 1 drug test because my insurance requested it, since Janet I believe Ive taken 5 in the past 6 months. Today I was discharged because she asked me if I had prescriptions filled by any other physicians and I said no. She said they checked pharmacy records and I had a prescription filled a few weeks ago by another Dr. I said oh yeah I had a tooth pulled and the dentist gave me a prescription for something, my wife picked it up from the pharmacy and its in my medicine cabinet. It was a 3 day supply of 5mg/300mg hydrocodone/Tylenol, which is pretty standard issue after getting a tooth pulled. She proceeded to tell me that I violated my opioid agreement (that was signed 1.5 years ago) and that I also didnt mention the surgery when the intake girl asked, any new x-rays, surgeries, mris since your last visit?. I am treated here for my neck and when asked that question I think in terms of my neck and didnt realize I had to disclose having a tooth pulled. She proceeded to treat me like I was purposefully trying to hide this and began to scold and belittle me for it. I kept stating that I didnt realize it, didnt think about it, and even apologized for it. She continued to throw the fact that I signed an opioid agreement (1.5 years ago) in my face and that it was my job to know this and how this was grounds for discharge. At this point I very calmly told her that she was being very rude in the way she was talking to me, repeatedly telling me how wrong I was. As I was saying this she said thats it were done!. I asked what she meant and she said Im giving you a 2 week supply of meds and discharging you, and you can go find another Dr.. I asked to speak to Dr.Zed and she yelled No, Im discharging you! She then asked me to still take another drug test to which I said I would. She then stormed out of the office and even closed the door in my face as I was right behind her walking out to go to the bathroom. I was so shocked by this whole exchange that I didnt even think to ask at the time why I even needed to bother to take a drug test when I was being discharged from their care.I know this is a super long review but since I wasnt even afforded the opportunity to speak to MY Doctor, who performed 4 spinal injections on me, I am hoping he sees this and reaches out to me so we can talk. I also hope Janet Ascione sees this and thinks back on how she acted and realizes that it was very inappropriate. That is no way to act when you work in this type of field with people living in constant pain who obviously arent living the best life at the moment. Finally I hope prospective patients see this just so they can be informed of how they could possibly be treated. Its sad really. The office staff is very nice and helpful, Dr. Zed is a great Dr, and I absolutely loved Alina Messick. Janet Ascione does not fit in with the rest of the kind staff there, and sadly she is the one most patients will see 90% of the time. I hope she turns her attitude/behavior around before she drags down the rest of the practice
