They rip you off! I went in because I found a lump in my breast in May. It ended up being cyst. They suggested surgery. My first red flag. Surgery should be the last option you do if its not life threatening. I got a second opinion. It ended going away on its own. Now its September they did a second test on results which I did not ask for and sent me another bill. I read a lot of reviews on them. All they care about is the bottom line. One reviewer said they charge you just because they call you. I will be sending them a registered letter so they stop charging me for tests I never ask for. I suggest to anyone who is having the same problem to do the same.

I am so disappointed in this clinic. I went there for help today. I was in crisis. I was on the verge of another panic attack for the day and was needing a refill of my rx. I believed I had an appointment in October but I didn’t have enough of my rx to get me through. I had been skipping days to try and get by and it wasn’t working. I went to this clinic as a walk in. I was told on the phone that they take walkins until 8. When I walked in I was treated like an inconvenience,. I was asked what’s the problem. This is rude and also uncomfortable to be asked in a room full of strangers. I immediately began crying and told her that I was needing my rx refilled. She asked if I was established as a patient there. I said I was with a dr that is no longer there. She said “yeah so my question was are you established”, so I said no. She said that the dr may be able to help but He would want me to be established. I told her that I had an appointment in a month. “It’s not here” she said. I told her I made it online. “Well it’s not here” she responded. This entire conversation was done loud enough for others hear. It was embarrassing. At that point, i told her I would just leave. She did not hide her happiness that I was leaving. Without the help that I desperately needed.It’s probably not best practice to make someone suffering from anxiety and depression to feel like they are not worth your time. Luckily, I have a huge support system that was able to get me home safely. No one should be treated this way. It is hard enough for some people, like me, to ask for any kind of help. Especially, mental health help. Shame on her for treating me and anyone else this way.

I have bronchitis and need an appointment. Upon calling I was informed that, even though I am vaccinated, they will not treat any patient that has any illness that causes a cough, due to their covid protocol .I wont be back. I will go to a doctors office that actually treats patients who are ill.

I went to this clinic last Sunday after injuring pretty bad my knee falling of the bike. I was the only patience there. I received all the best care possible. The doctor was really amazing and helped me feel less stressed to the fact that I hate needles. The nurses were warm and made sure I felt comfortable all the time. I got there, took x ray, got stitches and tetanus shot, all in one hour. Best care I’ve had so far in years. Absolutely recommend.

Useless for primary care Doctors. Too many patients I guess. Takes over 2 weeks to get an appointment even as an established patient.Getting appointments with their specialists is much more difficult.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of any of their locations.*edit after BSWs canned bot responsebelow.You dont care about resolving this, youre responding to deceive people into thinking you care, but you dont.I will add this question:Is it your billing departments practice to belittle and patronize a patient for the reason they went to the doctor? Your staffs flippant and dismissive attitude to being asked for clarification on billing questions is beyond repulsive.To the poor unfortunate people that decide to use any of your locations in the future, here is what you can expect:Billed for services you didnt get, billed for using a building you didnt visit. And when you have the audacity to call and ask for clarification, you will be dismissed and told you shouldnt have told the doctor about your...(insert medical concern) and it wouldnt have been billed that way.Even though they are the supposed medical professionals, all they care about is bilking you and the insurance companies for every penny they can, and then make you feel like you did something wrong when you ask about it.Save yourself the hassle and literally go to any other medical provider available.

I have been a patient of Scott and White for around 20 years. The doctors are great, but the clinic charges are a rip-off. I had a 10 minute video follow-up call. Insurance paid the $209 doctor bill, but the clinic also charged a $209 clinic charge. For what, having a phone? Insurance marked it down to $107. I can call an emergency clinic for $35 consultation.The canned response will be , we are concerned about your inquiry and we will look into it...but I highly doubt that. Scott and White, you have gotten 100s of thousands from our patronage over the years. Time to see what Seton or St Davids can do for us.

So blessed to have found quality care on the first try! So far, I am impressed and confident in my provider and staff. Huge waiting room, comfortable rooms and a caring staff from checking in to checking out. Some of the equipment is a little dated but it still did its job.Painless lab technicians as well! I believe we have found our long term health care solution!

I think its pretty sad that Scott and white wont see a person because theyre vomiting when they had a head injury. Since the day you guys opened up, I have been a patient with you guys, and I have never in my life felt so prejudiced against because of Covid-19. They want to treat people like a drive-through fast food restaurant, what the hell is that about. Not a very happy customer. Go to Austin Regional care they at least see you.

The doctors look great, however unable to get someone on the line to verify insurance and book an appointment. The lady said they are unable to tell me, and to try the clinic, except she didnt even have the clinic phone number. Unable to perform a basic task. Perfect example of how to lose a potential eager member. I was hesitant to even try them because of a lot of billing issues members seem to have, but heard their patient care is good.

I went here and I couldnt have been in the building for more than 15 minutes. They handed me a bunch or paperwork and told me that everything I needed to know about what I was experiencing was in the hand-outs. They offered to go over them with me but I can read so no need.While my experience was disappointing, it wasnt as disappointing as the bill summary that I got from my insurance company. They charged my insurance almost $1000 for 15 minutes of no prescription given, no lab work done, and about 11 pages of print outs from Google.I think there is some insurance wackiness going on here and someone needs to look into it.

My husband and I love the doctors and staff. Everyone is friendly and make you feel welcome. Dr. Berg and Dr. Hilts are who weve seen, and they both made us feel they truly care. Were very pleased with the clinic, and great care. We will continue going. Happy friends suggested S&W Clinic to us!

I went in today for a scheduled appointment for a bad cough Ive been having. Appointment started right on time and I saw the doctor very quickly. The last clinic I went to for this cough just told me I had allergies and was fine, though I had been sick and coughing for over two weeks. Got a real diagnosis today for bronchitis and possible pneumonia, with the appropriate medications for it, so hopefully Ill finally start feeling better soon.Five stars for: timeliness, ease of paperwork, pleasantness of staff, and a doctor that actually paid attention to my symptoms.Hopefully none of the insurance issues that others have mentioned will appear, but I probably will change my rating if that happens.

WARNING: This facility is NOT a doctor’s office. Do not go here if you want a regular doctor’s visit. This facility charges patients for “Hospital Outpatient Procedures” for going to see the doctor.After paying my $30 copay to see the doctor here, as I normally would at any in-provider doctors office, I was billed $200 because my insurance put the “Hospital Outpatient Procedure” towards my deductible. I explained to my insurance that this was a routine doctor’s visit and yet somehow I was charged as if I’d gone to the hospital, which I thought I hadn’t.Surprise! Scott and White billing told me there was nothing they could do about it and I was on the hook to pay because “The facility is associated with the larger hospital and there’s a facility charge.”So if you want to see a regular doctor and not be billed for a hospital visit in the process do not visit this location.

I advise no one to step foot in this place. I talked to Dr for maybe 60 seconds. All she did was start writing prescriptions No treatment plan. My insurance payed my co pay for dr visit but they billed me $200 for the use of the facility!! Which was more than office visit and Dr charges!! By the way I didn’t fill any of the prescriptions. None were even necessary

My family and I have been patients of Georgetown Central Clinic for years (when it was still on University). Its nice to have a Dr office that you can go to that knows you & has seen your kids grow up. We love the staff (especially Barb) shes a sweety! And Dr Luttrell is great! Since My Chart had been implemented being able to get in touch with the Dr is a lot easier. Thank you Georgetown Central Clinic for the care you have always provided to our family. The job well done is greatly appreciated.

You should be informed before you visit this office that you will pay a CLINIC FEE which is additional to your doctors charges, labs, etc. It is a fee for a place to see the doctor and I do not believe their is any insurance that will pay this ridiculous fee. They do not collect your copay at the time of the visit but you will get a bill for your copay and the additional $132 CLINIC FEE. I already pay over $300 a month for insurance so that I know my visits with my primary care physician should only cost me my copay. They should let you know this before the visit so you can make an informed decision when seeing a doctor at Scott & White.

Dr. Hilts is a wonderful, kind doctor, who made us feel at ease right away. His nurse is great, too! The doctors on time and doesnt make you wait in a room forever like so many other doctors do. Would definitely recommend.

My doctor visit was Great! When I asked if they took my insurance they said yes and i paid my copay. Then I got a bill from my Ins Co saying they dont pay for outpatient visit - thats how it was billed. So I paid the bill out of pocket. 2 months later i get a letter from my Ins Co saying they paid $118 of a $210 bill for my Doc visit. Scott White double billed it again using a different location and increased the bill by $30. I called them about and it was explained that Scott White sends a bill {outpatient} then the Doc sends his bill. If I had just paid cash would have been $90. The combined bill was $389. I learned a lesson. Dont just ask if they take your insurance ask for the billing details!

Make sure you know all the terms and codes of their billing systems or else you will be ripped of and completely screwed even if you have great health insurance and pay everything on time. Thank you, Scott and White, for taking not only my insurance company’s money, but also forcing my family to pay for doctors appts, that are 100% covered per my insurance, out of my pocket. I will never go here again.

I love Dr. Norwood but reception is largely incompetent, prepare to be your own advocate if you actually want to receive care from BSW. Not just this office, it seems to be a problem no matter who you’re dealing with.

Very disappointed !! We walked in to the clinic on Sunday (Jan 21st 2018) for our 3 year old son, who had high fever. We waited in line to check in and then waited to be called. Finally after long wait, when they called us, they just informed that doctor is not comfortable seeing kids below 5 years of age !!! If this is the case, why did they force us to wait for long time ?? We will never go back to the clinic and not recommend my friends and family either. The front desk should better learn how should they communicate with patients

I had The Worst experience here. Dr. Norwood was who my husband and I were paired with. I repeatedly told them on the phone what I was being seen for. When I went to my appointment, they did an establishing care appointment?? And refused to address my issue, they didnt have time that day??. I had to wait two weeks and pay for another appointment, just to address my initial issue. The entire time I had to remind her of what I was there for because she was to busy trying to conduct a physical?? After I was finally examined and issues were addressed I left with prescriptions. I later called the office manager to address my concerns after getting nowhere with billing. Amy said she would get back to me after speaking with the doctor, that was weeks ago. What a joke. I then had the issue come back and had to go to gyno to address same issue, to find out that the first doc didnt even test me for what I was there for. This place is laughable at best, I will pay my bill and be done with them. Run dont walk from this place if you are smart!

I took my son there on a Saturday morning since they go on about being open on weekends when we go in to see his pediatrician. Upon arriving they said they couldn’t see my son because he was 3 and they weren’t seeing patients under 5 that day. His hand was swollen to twice his size and there were ZERO patients waiting. Definitely will be changing doctors and not visiting this location ever again. Turning away patients for care does not rate highly in my book!

Great doctor love my Dr. luttrel he is great, the only thing I hate is that you will call the clinic and no one wants to answer the phone. I need to set a appointment and cant get anyone to answer. It is so inconvenient for me to have to drive to the clinic to make an appointment when I should be able to do it over the phone, please fix the problem.

Dr. Luttrell is fantastic. But the wait time can be awful. Id definitely recommend him, and the other doctors any day. I just think their scheduling should be improved. Dont overbook patients.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my Doctor, Paul Berg!!!!! However, the clinic leaves much to be desired. I have difficulty returning phone calls and I have asked, pleaded and begged more time than I can count to please please please just leave a voice mail with the info and not to ask for a call back!!!!! Also I am on a prescription assistance program and only ONE person in the office has any idea what that is and how to deal with it!!!!! If I could just deal with my doctor and leave the clinic out of it, I would be one very happy camper!!!!!

My husband has an infection, he went to this facility and was prescribed a medication. When he went to pick up his perscription the pharmacist informed us that they dont even make this medicine anymore. Called the clinic back three times and couldnt even get ahold of a nurse. Each time we were assured wed get a call back. Day two and we havnt heard anything! My husband is in pain and his condition is getting worse! Dont go here, they dont care about their patients!

Why it it faster for me to drive to the clinic from my house and set an appointment in person than it is to call in? On more than one occasion I dialed in as I was leaving home, was on hold the entire time, parked, and walked into the clinic with the speakerphone playing music on hold. The centralized phone center is annoying for both the very long on-hold times as well as the Spanish Inquisition of HIPPA questions...for gods sake its an appointment. When I do it in person I only give them my name and DOB and I dont get asked for photo id...Im making a freaking appointment not getting a kidney extracted. When I call in I get asked about all sorts of other information. Last time I called to reschedule an appointment I was given theoption to talk to the complain line....after being put oin hold there for 10 minutes I felt I was in a Monty Python sketch and just hung up. Great doctors, great service and a thats get 10 stars. I subtract 6 stars for the phone scheduling and phone center. Hence the 4-star rating. Oh...even the clinic folks think online scheduling is horrible.

I love Dr Paul Berg & Dr Micheal Helts but I am a little disappointed in the people that work in the lab.I went to see Dr Berg for a uti and he order a urine cutler to be done and the lab never sent it off some how it got discarded and the nurse called me back to the lab for another urine sample. Now I receive a $30 bill in the mail and now I am in a disputed with the billing department for 4 months now and they cant seem to get it together. I have been waiting on a phone for a month from this Clinc manger and have yet to here from her and was told she been gone for 2 months.

Instead of including my lab work with my annual health exam, they billed it separately which has left me with a $600 bill two weeks before Christmas. They say that they have no way of telling how much a procedure or lab work will cost and it is my fault for not knowing how to navigate their system.

I went to the walk in clinic on 8/2/19 and, seen a PA for a sinus infection and, paid my co pay at the time of service and, they billed my insurance wrong. I got a bill in the mail saying I owe $60. When my co pay $30 I contacted the insurance company and they said it was billed as a specialty clinic when it a Primary Care Clinic. The only reason why I use this clinic is because of the location maybe I need to start looking at other options of a PCP.
