Before I get into the negative aspects of this appointment I would like to say that everyone we interacted with at this office was very nice. The receptionist, nurse, doctor, and x-ray technician were friendly and helpful and treated my 11 year old son very kindly.Unfortunately, there were problems with our visit. We came in on Friday to get my sons hand looked at after a tripping incident at school. After X-rays were done, we were told there was a break in one area of the hand. They fit him with a splint, gave us the information for an orthopedic doctor to follow up with on Monday, and handed us a CD with his x-rays.When we had our appointment at the orthopedic doctor, they put in the CD and there were 4-5 other peoples x-rays on it, including other parts of the body, all listed as my son, but with none of our X-rays. Because of this, we had to pay for a new set of images. Once we got the new ones done, they also found that there were two breaks in his hand instead of one.Very friendly staff, but I don’t think we would visit again because of this.

A group of us who are traveling overseas needed Covid tests. We all went to Fastmed, because it was convenient. However, of our group - 50% got a false positive for Covid. We all had to go to another facility and have another test done to show that we were negative Covid. I would definitely not go here for a rapid Covid test. Ally medical Emergency in Round Rock were wonderful and used a more conclusive test to show that I was negative and could travel overseas.

This is a really nice clinic. I have been there twice and they are fast and very professional. The PA listened to what I had to say and advised me accordingly. Pedro, the med tech, is great! I have seen him twice and each time he makes you feel comfortable.

The staff is exceptional. I injured my hand with a hatchet 🪓. They stitched me up with 4 stitches and I was quickly out the door and back to camping. The PA that did the work made sure that the stitches and skin pulled together so a minimal scarring will be there when I am healed. Hopefully I learned my lesson from this and won’t have to go there again. However, if I do unfortunately do something dumb again I would for sure go back here.

We have been here twice since October due to them being the only clinic in Georgetown that will accept workmans comp patients. Both visits the staff has been rude and disrespectful. Ill be so glad when we are done with this place. Do not recommend unless you like being talked down to and treated like a child.

This was my third visit to Fast Med for Covid testing. The entire staff made my visit each time very pleasant with no long waits. The entire staff were very professional. Thank you TO THE ENTIRR FAST MED STAFF 💕

Took my son to get his sports physical, it was quick and we were out of there in about 30 mins or less! I did make my appointment on line the night before! The whole staff was very professional and nice! Plus it was only $59!

We made a 2:15 Wednesday appointment the Tuesday before to ensure it would work with our schedule. Scheduling online was quick and easy. We only needed a school physical and arrived 10 minutes early for our appointment to fill out any necessary paperwork. Thinking it would be a 30 minute visit, I was shocked when I turned in the paperwork, and was informed that there would be a 45 minute wait. We stayed for the appointment and at 3:00 they did take us back to a room. We sat in the room unattended until 3:30 before inquiring about when we would be seen. They told me we were next and came in shortly after. I don’t understand why they schedule appointments without a specific room or doctor to keep those appointments? It made for a very frustrating afternoon.

They were very polite & pleasant. Quick & thorough. Would definitely recommend.

I made an appointment for the Covid rapid test and filled out the online paperwork the day before. Instead of receiving the test I was informed that I would have to complete a medical history and have a consultation with the doctor before I could get the test! I had just seen my doctor that morning and knew my insurance would not cover this second unnecessary exam. I was told that if I didn’t want the exam that I could cancel and leave which is what I did. I believe the advertisement on line is misleading. If there were a zero star category that would be my choice.

I was very impressed with the whole experience, the office was very clean, the receptionist was pleasant and helpful, the wait was relatively short and the diagnosis was accurate so, we were able to get my daughter stable right away.

Everyone here is so nice and it’s super quick to get in and out of!! Damaris at the front desk was super nice, Pedro and Cashonna were super awesome and Evans the PA was so great and as nice as could be!! If I could give 10 stars I would!! Always have the best experience (besides me either being in pain or sick 🤣) when I come here!!

By far the best, caring service every time I go there. The whole team makes you feel they care about you as a person and not about the money. They follow up, checking in on you, all and all a wonderful experience during a time that you dont feel good. Thank you to the whole team for taking care off me during a scary experience and for putting my family at ease.

Walked in 2 hours prior to learning the wait time was 2 hours. Made an appointment and returned. Checked in for my 1:30 appointment and still have to wait 45 minutes for a Tetanus shot. Front desk staff, not friendly and doesnt acknowledge people when they walk in. Approached front desk and was told it shouldnt be in response to my how long is the wait despite having an appointment.

The nurse who examined my puncture wound in the hand was friendly and thorough. The PA, Hahn, was excellent. She inspired my confidence in her immediately, and did a professional job in suturing the wound and treating me.

Very friendly staff. The wait to see the doctor was 10 mins or less. The doctor and the medical team were very professional. They did not keep you waiting and wondering in the exam room of what was going on. Kept us informed of the process. Highly recommend.

The doctor and nurse were very helpful and very concerned for my personal time. They answered all my questions and were very friendly. The person at the reception desk was not the most friendly or concerned about my time. She acted like she was overwhelmed with three people in the waiting room.

I am writing this review to warn people about thinking twice before visiting this facility. I am an individual that never writes reviews, but this is something to share. If I could I would have gave this place no stars at all. I came in with a severe ear ache, drainage and blood coming out of my ear. a nurse practitioner came in to conduct the exam and suggested I must have stuffed my ear with tissue. I explained I didnt and felt I had an infection. She proceeded with saying that it was fine and since I asked she would send out antibiotics. I then consulted with a different physician elsewhere and realized she completely disregarded my symptoms and mis diagnosed me. I was a self pay patient and was not regarded at all. I am now having to pay more money due to this incident, not to mention the time and pain I have dealt with. Do not go here. I am surprised this place has good reviews. I wish Ive remember the name of the nurse practitioner.

I called ahead of time to set an appointment. This really helped ignorer to be seen right away because they had people waiting in the lobby when I got there. Great care! Upbeat people!

I had an OUTSTANDING visit! The front desk assistant shendy was so welcoming and helpful with the sign in process. Pedro the clinical assistant was absolutely amazing I expressed to him my previous bad experiences with covid testing and he was very understanding a gentle when he did my test. Dr. David was fantastic his bed side manner was superb! After my exam Dr. David gave me options for treatment and what would best work for me and even explain the possible side effects of the medications. He made sure that I was comfortable with the treatment plan. This is day one of my meds and I am starting to feel better already. Thank you Shendy, Pedro and Dr. David you guys rock!

Fastest Ive EVER had a DOT Physical completed.. I DID show up first thing in the morning.. Some of the paperwork is redundant, and seems unnecessary . But MOST other places have that fault as well.

They made me feel like I wasnt just another patient. Very kind yet professional staff from the front desk to the medical assistant that took my vitals. The Doctor was very thorough in her questioning and her examination. I would recommend them all to anyone needing care. ☆☆☆☆☆

My first visit to FastMed, experience was great. Receptionist expressed great customer service. Checkin was very organized and went quickly. I was in and out in 30 minutes.

I would recommend this place a million times. I absolutely loved it. The front desk all the way to the nurses and doctors are super sweet. They try the peat to help you and I would definitely recommend to get your DOT here.

I came in feeling really bad . I also came in knowing these kinds of places take time. I have been rather very patient. It’s hard to continue to stay patient when I hear every nurse in here talking about what they are doing after work and just huddling up together chatting it up. I also do not like the fact that the lady at the front desk has been very rude to me ever since she asked what the numbers were on my insurance card . I was gladly willing to read them to her but I didn’t know what set. After I asked what set she was really annoyed and said “just let me see it” I showed her and after that wow. I have been practically ignored and every time I said thank you I get no response. She’s told everyone else “thank you” or given them a response and was polite to them. I am now walking out of here because I’ve been sitting here for an hour and haven’t been seen. Doesn’t help the last time I was here the gentlemen with the black hair was very rude too. Came in for COVID test and he just made it seem I was wasting his time . Y’all need to find a new job if you don’t like what you do. There are so many other clinics and what not out here for y’all to be acting this way. This was just close and convenient. Now I know it’s worth it to drive that extra few minutes to find a clinic who actually cares. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL

FastMed took me in immediately when I went in bleeding pretty badly. They took excellent care of my injury. Took x-rays to make sure the damages werent too extensive. The personnel were excellent, efficient and caring.I highly recommend FastMed.

Made an appointment. Arrived 10 minutes early. Lady at desk acted like we interrupted her day and we shouldnt be bothering her. Waited 25 minutes past appointment time to be called back meanwhile people getting physicals (5) going in and out. Waited another 25 minutes for the doctor to come in (4 more people with physicals in and out). Got up to leave doctor was in the hallway well Im trying to get to you. Do not go here.

Doctor and staff were nice only thing is when someone come in for covid they are seated with everyone else I wish they would have them wait outside in their vehicles like some other walk-ins.

FasrMed, especially NP Danielle Wllson, did very well for me. I received a quick diagnosis and then an appointment for an MRI at ARA to be done in just a few hours. This is excellent service and most of the cost was covered by my health insurance. Also, it was much faster than an ER check in we had at St David’s a couple of years ago. Recommended!

My family & I have been going to FastMed Urgent Care for years, if we are unable to get into our family doctors; after today, never again. I’m careful to post negative reviews and try to give “benefit when in doubt,” yet...here I am, so frustrated at what happened, I need to share, and give update.This place has slowly gone down hill over the past few years. Always different doctors and nurse practitioners. I miss Dr. Petal and his nurse practitioner Meagan, who left over a year ago. There was a wonderful replacement, who my family saw for minor issues, she too, is now gone. New faces, leads to new experiences and today was a terrible one. The check-in procedure was painful. Three times I was called to the counter, to share information I already implemented online and was in the system. The “schedule” appointment was for one of my kiddos, who has been at this location multiple times over the years...today it was like we never step foot in this place before.The appointment was scheduled for a specific time, which didn’t matter, we waited *one hour in the waiting area and almost *one more hour in a small 9x9 room, *two hours & no one came in to update us. Twice I opened the door, inquiring how much longer and to reminded them we was still in the room. Each time, getting more upset, I’ll admit, I wasn’t happy. After the two hour waiting mark, we left without seeing the doctor. Walking out, there was two “nurses” in middle area on computers, one male nurse standing near by, chatting.Listen, I understand doctors fall behind, and there is a possibility of wait time, but not a two hour wait! No communication, no empathy, no care from any of the staff. It was sad, because the person who suffered was my kid, their patient. She was just a time slot, lost in their daily schedule routine.Update: After I left FastMed Urgent Care on Williams Drive in HEB shopping center, I drove my kiddo to Baylor Scout & White Clinic at the corner of Wolf Ranch, pulled into their curbside visit slot, called as a walk-in, waited 20 mins for a doctor to come out to our car, look over at my sick kiddo, confirm what I thought, give a prescription for ear and sinus infection, and it was back home, for her to rest. Whew....-Honest review, from an exhausted mom who just wants her kid to feel better.

Or check for covid 19?I was only their for Drug test for a job.I would definitely use them in the future.

I wanted a covid-19 Test. Went online to make appointment, but it kept saying wrong birthdate, which is correct. I dont know what happened. I went to clinic anyway. The girls were wonderful. And the doctor Amy.everyone treated me very important and nice.

The staff provided excellent care. In fact, they called the following day to check on my fathers progress. The PA that took care of my father, if I could. I would give her 10 gold stars!

My appointment was a 3:15. I was asked to arrive early, so I did. At 4:31, I am still waiting with nothing but bs and excuses as to why my appointment meant nothing. Walk-ins should be turned away if it means a basic level of service cannot be met to those who plan ahead.The staff , when questioned, has been rude and largely disingenuous. Come in with an ear infection and leave with high blood pressure. Your time means nothing at this place.

FastMed is thorough and efficient. I really like that you can check-in online and the two times that I have been there, I arrive and Im taken immediately back to a room. The entire staff is friendly and they listen to all of your concerns. Even during the hectic times of covid combined with the holidays, they do a great job and really seem to care about your well-being! I will definitely return if I need urgent care!

I went in with an eye problem. The service was fast and friendly. The provider was able to find the problem and remove it giving me instant relief. I would note that numerous individuals tried to find the foreign object in my eye but none were successful until going to urgent care. I would definitely recommend them.

It was pleasant experience for being how lousy I felt. Daniell PN and the nurse were very helpful and kind.. The treatment she prescribed has helped a lot already.

My husband and I recently signed up for covid tests. We did wait for 20 minutes past our appointment time, but they were able to accommodate us at the same time. Amy and Pedro were thorough, efficient and friendly. Shandy was also a sweetheart. We did get our negative results after a 12 minute wait.

From start to finish everyone who worked there was extremely nice and efficient. The wait list told us an hour wait, but 10 minutes later we were back in the room. The NP was great with my 11 year. Listened to our concerns and gave us great recommendations. Great staff, very clean, and fast!

They say walkins welcome but if you show up when they open dont expect to be seen they literally told me Id have to wait until all of the people with appointments had showed up but when I made an appointment online it also told me not to expect to be seen at the time of my appointment so I left the woman at the front was extremely disrespectful and rude through the whole experience.

My husband , grandson and I went in for Covid testing. We each had our own appointments, but they were not one after the other. I asked if we could all go into the same room at the same time and they were very nice and accommodating. The whole experience was fast and we got tested quickly and efficiently. What a kind caring staff.

From the moment I walked in the experience was excellent. All staff were so efficient. Amy, the nurse who stitched the cut on my finger did an excellent job. It is so nice to know this urgent care clinic is available when needed.

I took my 2 year old son to this facility after he fell and broke his arm and he was in excruciating pain. The staff had us waiting for an HOUR to get someone to take a look at my son and nothing happened. All they did was taking his temperature and Oxygen level.I finally opened the door and asked for help and a lady said they had 3 emergencies ahead of us !! They resorted to lie to justify their incompetence. They didn’t offer any help or even checked to see why this baby is crying so loud! I had to watch my son crying for an hour and being completely helpless. I ended up leaving so frustrated and went to other emergency room that medicated my son and took good care of him. If you have any respect to yourself or to your loved ones don’t go there.

Went in for a Tb skin test. Front desk person was very friendly and efficient. The paperwork was minimal. The gentleman that administered the skin test was VERY good! I’m a nurse and I’m not a fan of injections, but he was great!

This is an amazing place. I just feel bad for Shendy and the front desk because people were brutal when I went just for an employee screen. It’s a great safe place. Please wear masks and give everyone space. This is such an awesome clinic. I hated seeing the drs there so exhausted it’s just hard times with this pandemic, cedar and flu on top of all of the minor emergencies they handle. God bless us all.

Set up an appointment on, of all days, for a Thanksgiving morning visit. They got me right in, within a few minutes of walking in the door, actually. Back in the room, the assistant was informative and listened well, very nice. When the Doctor came in, she was also attentive and saved me a trip to the xray room and unnecessary additional charges. She offered me options and forward advice. Got two shots, but felt weird after a minute or so, to which they kept me for a few extra minutes for observation. Great staff, and I was thankful to have a pleasant experience with these good folks while they sacrificed their Thanksgiving day to help people!

Wonderful experience, fastest service I have ever received with an appointment. In house X-rays a big plus. Staff friendly and helpful, Monica the NP provided great feedback and patient care. Recommend early appointment walked in within 5 min for treatments.

NOT AN URGENT CARE. Not sure they Care at all. you would be better off going after your own medical license and handling the situation yourself.When we got told it would take over an hour to be seen we went five minutes down the road where they saw my son immediately and got it stitched up.

After being misdiagnosed 3x the doctor here knew exactly what was wrong with me. Will come back in the future.

Billing is terrible! They said I would not receive a bill to get my staples out that they put in. They said it would be a continuation of the previous visit, otherwise I would not have gone, I would have gone to a non-urgent clinic (i.e. cheaper) to get it out!

I again had an urgent care need. I couldn’t get into my own doctor so I went to this Fast Med. Unfortunately my goat accidentally bit my finger. It looked bad enough to need stitches. I was super worried about the shot to numb my finger. I have seen it done before and it was very painful. The nurse practitioner, Daniella Wilson did a wonderful job. Only had to have one injection to numb it. Not so bad. Two stitches and I was out of there. I had called ahead to make an appointment. I thought they were very good and very professional. My finger has never hurt since getting the stitches. I think that’s a good sign.

I love this place. They were kind, courteous, and professional. Amy and Julie were absolutely amazing! I thought that I would have to go to an ENT specialist but they were able to help me and saved me from having to go to another doctor. I will go back to this place in the future if I ever need to again!

Their facilities were semi clean and the staff were all courteous. However the Dr. Never introduced herself,The online registration process did not work and i ended up with a 5 min. Visit with a Dr. That gave a diagnosis of theres nothing that can be done.Hope the brace you decided to buy helps.Clearly this location or company needs some rigorous internal quality control issued.Will not return.

Long wait time just for a simple pre employment drug screen. Lobby was full and staff move super slow

Registration was painless, staff were warm and friendly, and the environment was clean and tidy, especially due to the current circumstances and the fact that they test for the virus. The wait was extended however, we were told that from the get go. Once the doc arrived, she was very helpful, thorough, reassuring, and got us out as quickly. Would recommend!

I am giving FastMed Urgent care a kind 3/5 rating mainly, because the staff was at the very least - friendly.The experience was not a well thought out process for getting patients in and seen and instead one that is redundant and causes much frustration (especially when a patient is not feeling well).Upon arriving you’re required to of course fill out patient paperwork (makes total sense) however, you fill out a general check-in sheet, then told you’ll be taken back. From there you’re placed in a waiting room where you’re told a nurse will see you. But plot twist (1) - it’s still the admin or assist. bringing you an iPad to fill out patient paperwork (which could’ve been knocked out at the very front). Then you’re told (again) you’ll be seen shortly, but plot twist (2) it’s the same person coming in to give you another set of paperwork to review and sign. Then yet again, told someone will be in to see you but of course, plot twist (3) it’s the admin/assist who is there to take your payment prior to being seen to insure you can afford the service (which I understand finance-wise). Then, yes you guessed it right - plot twist (4) a nurse assist comes in to take your vitals, give you a swab or two and asks you questions etc and when you start going on about symptoms and questions BOOM plot twist (5) you’re told the PA will see you shortly... I mean, I understand rotation for patient continuity of operation but by the time I was seen and out the door ( 1hr 35min later) the waiting room already had 5 patients waiting on their appointment. So I feel there’s a lot of back & forth that can be utilized into one office visit when you’re FIRST informed, that you’ll be seen and then should be told that a PA will visit shortly once documents are reviewed. Food for thought?!

Phenomenal! Visited a number of times. Couple of pretty serious issues.In all cases, amazing, wonderful care. Medicine at its finest. Best staff ever. It doesnt get any better than this!!!

I Wouldnt even give them one star if possible, NOT AN URGENT CARE. My son and wife showed up and we felt it was a bit of an urgent matter, They asked my wife to fill out documents on an iPad while she was trying to hold the baby with a broken eye. they couldnt even wait until they got to the back. they had a few other people in the waiting room (none of whom had an open wound). a couple covid tests and one had a hurt finger and they told my wife first come first serve It would be over an hour to wait. needless to say she got out of this place. I have no clue how they have so many good reviews. Staff is not friendly and when the supposed doctors came up front to get patient clipboards they saw my son and said aw that looks bad. this place is a joke and if you are associated with it you need to really work on your bedside manner

I am very pleased with my first appointment with FastMed Urgent Care! All the Staff are very helpful and pleasant. The hours are great and open 7 days a week!

I went to Fast Med for a COVID19 test and they are charging $50 (my co-pay) for the tests. This should not be happening as the government and my UHC insurance both say COVID tests are free. They also put general in the reason for visit which seems dishonest and on purpose so they can get money. I will be seeking reimbursement once this claim shows up at my insurance company.

I was cared for in a timely manner and referred to ER.

They should be required to take URGENT care off of their name and sign. Everything is by appointment only. Its hard to make an appointment for an emergency. I went for an x-ray for a broken arm at 4:30 p.m. the first available appointment was 7:00 p.m. they make NO availability for emergency walk-ins.Once they finally took my x-rays they overreacted and told me to immediately go to the hospital ER. that turned out to be a completely unnecessary visit.

The staff is so on top of it and Doctor Patel is WONDERFUL! He really heard me when I said I was super sensitive to antibiotics, (Most doctors dont care and I have been put in bedridden pain for weeks before because Im just a number to ER doctors)Not Dr Patel and his team, they were super thorough and really wanted to hear about my needs and how I couldnt handle most meds. He also asked if there was any other concerns or ailments other than what I originally came in for that I wanted to ask him about and he took the time to address those as well!He ALSO, checked up with me two days in a row! When my pain increased from what we thought was a possible small UTI, he really showed he cared by urging me to go to a family ER. Not a hospital ER, a Family one, where they ALSO really heard me and took care of me. Turns out I had a ruptured ovarian cyst that is now being handled and Im experiencing no pain.I wouldnt have been able to make that decision to seek further investigation for the pain had Dr. Patel not cared enough for my well being to be thorough! He called the NEXT day too to check up on me and make sure I was fine! I have never experienced an urgent care Doctor, let alone, ANY doctor with his amount of genuine care and concern. He is Fabulous!

I was recently seen at FastMed for back pain and the staff was very caring and attentive to me. Laura, Alos, Pedro, Shendy, Julie, Megan, and Amanda are all so wonderful! I trust FastMed for my medical care and thanks to them I am feeling much better now :)

DO NOT GO HERE!!! went in for a covid tests which was 100% covered by insurance. got a big bill for an office visit. We called they admitted they coded it wrong and they would fix it. They instead sent us to collections and we now owe over $400.

Exceptional staff that makes you feel like family! I had not come across a medical practice like this in Austin. They do not exist. PA Caryn Mosier and her staff treated me like family and it was so refreshing to have the old school, small town feel. I have found my medical care place!
