She was rude and purposely insulted me about my weight.I was supposed to get bloodwork done before a stress test, including vitamin D levels, had to ask twice about whether to continue taking a weekly prescribed vitamin D supplement. First she sent a definition of the test. I asked again, and was told to continue taking the supplement, saying it didnt matter when I took it, whether a day before or six days before, which is insane. I decided not to follow up given the tone of the first two exchanges.She ordered a stress test for a treadmill, the lab said they wouldnt allow me to use a treadmill. I asked her to follow up with the lab, she sent me another definition of the test and didnt contact the lab.This was all to set a visit with a Cadence cardiologist, Dr Severino. His first available appointment was more that 6 months from when it was made. Greedy or overbooked, I cant imagine receiving proper attention with that kind of backlog.All of this was caused because I went in for a routine colonoscopy that your supposed to get when your 50, and went into atrial fibrillation because I was severely dehydrated, nauseous, and depleted of potassium and calcium. I followed the instructions to the letter for the prep, and was not warned how to prevent any of this from happening. I was never diagnosed with afib prior, and havent had it since as far as I can tell.My opinion is to stay as far away from this nurse as you can, I dont know if she is overbooked or just doesnt care, but if you have any questions or concerns you will be condescended to and ignored.A very stressful and terrible encounter with Lauren Rienstra APN
