Neighboring Counties includes Bell County which includes Cities of Belton its County seat Temple , Killeen & South Ft Hoods on base facilities to accomodations for troops on base living logistics & services command center . Also my primary care physician works there and I was delivered live birth in 1958 the Coryell Memorial Hospital originally on lutterlow across from our now H. E. B. Grocers, Bakery & Pharmacy 😀

Business office in gatesville and San Antonio gave me 4 different amounts of how much I owe within a 30 min time frame!!!! Very disappointed

Received both COVID-19 shots here and had a great experience overall. The drive-thru clinic they sat up was very efficient and everyone was very nice. Also used their clinic’s restroom after the shot and it was clean and large. Thanks for the good attention!

Im a nurse at another facility and called the hospital main desk on July 15th. The woman who answered the phone was unfriendly and condescending which made me nervous about visiting the clinic (as a representative of a business you set the tone - make that first impression), but the nurse who was completing the COVID testing was very nice and helpful. Gained this clinic 3 more stars 😊 from 1 to 4...if I based it on the nurse who provided care alone it wouldve been a 5

As a registered nurse, I knew what care I needed when I went to the ED with chest pain. And the care was exemplary. Staff did not know me, or know that I was a nurse, but treated me with kindness and respect. They were efficient and professional. This challenging experience was made much easier by the staff who cared for me.

Have had my share of negative experiences with this hospital but overall they are a caring and well educated staff. Just like every field you have good and bad individuals. Since I got into the medical field, I have a better understanding of why things are done the way they are done. Coryell county has a very strict medical director and the people at cmh are doing their best to please MD and the patient. It is difficult to tiptoe through the rules and provide the best care to the individual. Overall an excellent hospital for minor issues.

We are always seen quickly, and the care is wonderful, as well as expedient!

I will not be returning to this clinic. Went in for a sick appointment and was informed I had to make another appointment to get my prescription renewed. I can understand this policy in some circumstances but not in this one. The symptoms I was experiencing were directly related to the prescription that I needed refilled. I was informed by the nurse that it is a clinic policy, so I will leave the doctors name unmentioned.

As a family we have used many services at Coryell Health. We use the clinic regularly between my spouse and our 5 children. We have also used the ER, sleep study, and out patient surgery. Every interaction we have had at Coryell Health has been great. We wouldn’t go anywhere else

I went to the urgent care because I felt sick and I left and I got worst. Nothing i went about got treated and the did a following up call the following day. I told the person who called that I was not doing any better, she said to come in again. So at this point I am thinking its all about the money because if I went and wasnt treated but you want me to come back knowing that I am charged each visit really. I dont have the time or money for such a thing. Nor the energy.

Seen at the ER and diagnosed with having kidney stones. All of the staff were very nice and seemed to care a lot. Only reason I’m giving them a 4 is because I was in a lot of pain and feel like a could have gotten my meds a little faster. Otherwise, very happy with the care I received there.

All I needed was a Tetanus shot. Since it was a Saturday, they had a bunch of prisoners who just came in before me. It took 4 hours to be seen. My bill was $800. Dont have an emergency on the weekend! The prisons have no Drs on staff on the weekends. Yes they deserve care, too, but its iike 10 ppl come in at a time. My poor 88 y/o Daddy waited with me those 4+ hrs and it was rough on him. Id really rather never go back if I had a choice.

I never thought a hospital would be like this. If it cant afford ro run shut it down.I went there mu blood pressure was 203/115 they told me I had anxiety. REALLY! Called my doctor back home now she scarred (n so am I) that Ive had a mini stroke. Im still experiencing blurry vision dizziness nausea n they said I have Anxiety. If I have had a stroke n there is damage to blood vessels this hospital will be hearing from my lawyer. Oh yeah they got my name wrong on all their documents. Which i addressed with them but they never changed it. I bet they will try to bill that way not get paid then come after me. SMH.DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I was in the ER for the flu. Everyone was very kind and professional. I was seen within 20 minutes and will recommend this hospital to others. Thank you... Barbara Dalton

I come here for my appointments with Dr. Dirk I never have to wait long and she is so friendly and attentive to my needs amazing Dr. As for the emergency department (IT IS HORRIBLE) staff is extremely inattentive to your needs and treat you as a burden. I have personally witnessed Dr and other staff on their cellphones at the desk as paitents wait to be cared for.

I have been seen in the ER twice here and both times I had excellent service. I have to mention I am an RN myself and have worked in a different ER. The first time I was here I broke my back in 3 places the 2nd time I was unconscious briefly. As I stated I had fine service here. Remember- the sign on the door says emergency, everything else usually waits. A cut on your childs hand, without serious profuse bleeding- may have to wait.

The doctors are very opinionated and will not even try to get to the root cause of the problem. They ask you questions and then tell you your answers are wrong! Poor excuse for supposed medical professionals. I wouldnt take my dogs to the doctors here. I guess if they were any good they would work in a big town with a real hospital. If you get sick in Gatesville make the trip to Temple or Waco and see a real doctor.

Ashley Stephens FNP at Coryell Memorial is simply amazing!! I can’t say enough good thing about her. My husband went in for a work up on a Friday and a MRI on Monday, she was on the phone with his results by Monday afternoon. Best FNP Coryell has had by far!! Good work ma’am!!

My husband had to have rotator cuff surgery. The nurses and Dr. Battle were very clear and concise with his discharge instructions. Dr. Battle took the time to show me with photos each step of the process. Mary, whom Im assuming is his offices nurse, however, was extremely nasty and hateful not only to us, but also my husbands workers comp agents. So rude and nasty, in fact, that the workers comp insurance agent did not want to deal with her again. She is a huge liability with her attitude and quite frankly, should not only be fired, but never be allowed to work in the medical field in any position ever again! Her attitude and treatment of his patients keeps me from giving a 5 star rating.Id like to add that your kitchen manager is one of the sweetest, friendliest people I have met in quite some time!

TOOK MY SON TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM WITH A CUT HAND. AFTER 3 HOURS AND NO DOCTOR YET WE WERE ADVISED BY THE ER ATTENDANT TO TAKE HIM TO TEMPLE. WE DID AND THEY SEWED HIM UP AND SENT US HOME IN 30 MINUTES. i RECEIVED A 200 DOLLAR BILL BECAUSE CMH HAD FILED WRONG INSURANCE AND REFUSED TO FILE IT ON THE CORRECT INSURANCE. Keep in mind he was never taken in back, they only assessed the wound and took his vitals and left us in waiting room for hours.

This is the worst clinic ever. Like someone else said, they dont even try to get to the root of the problem, and Ive seen several different doctors here. They will tell you to come back if symptoms keep happening or get worse but continue to do nothing about it. They look at you crazy if you ask for a work note, and act like youre lying about your symptoms. I wouldnt recommend going here to anyone!!

Really didnt like this clinic. Rude staff complaining of other patients in front of other patients. Gossiping ask questions on our issues nurses snap at you. Complaing making fun of patients so sad they need better management. Management gossip9as well with staff thought its small town better service its not Id rather drive to templ or killeen or cove how sad its medical facility. But it all about bullying see.s as a soap opera please hire better people and ma segment!!!!

Never again, have always complained to family and friends about the way dr. Hurley in pain management talks to you when you go in for an appointment but his skills always outweighed his attitude until today, had enough of him talking as if he walks on water and everyone and everything else is not his equal. He is a great doctor if you dont like to finish a sentence cause he will finish it for you, if you would like to be told how you are wrong about everything and that your not specia, then he is the onel. He absolutely has the worse bedside manor in the clinic, if you can get past the I walk on water attitude and can handle the belittling that he will do to you at the visits, then good luck, I going to take my money elsewhere

From a bump on the head to foot pain, small procedures, and flu the Doctors here have treated me well. I am impressed with their knowlage and bedside manner. I have made this facility my care unit. Not only because its local, but because they truly care for me.

First trip ever to a ER.. hope it’s the last..Two of the three nurses were smart mouth and demeaning...x-ray was very nice ..total waste of 5 hours while there got better care in clinic...

Biopsy was at 815. They came out at 10am and say hey I was just letting you know they are just getting started so she will be out in an hour.. I Hate this hospital and some of the workers. If this wasn’t the only hospital in town I damn sure wouldn’t be coming here..👎

I wish I could leave negative stars but thats not an option. I have never been to a more un organized non caring hospital in my life the only people that want to help are billing department and front desk receptionists. After my wife was told to walk around for a week with a broke arm her appointment date finally arrived and low and behold it was behind 7 hours! After she was told not to eat for 24 hours prior to surgery. It didnt matter that we absolutely had to pre pay 11k for the surgery or they wouldnt do it. And dont get me started on the ER were we sat for 4 hours with me changing bloody gauze because nobody was around to assist my nephews open fractured jaw. Coryell Memorial Hospital is a joke if your not about to die just go elswere I promise it will be worth the drive

Doctors have given me trouble in the emergency department i went in for blood in my stool and they couldent take a stool sample to i was treated rudely like i was wasti g their time come to find out i had internal hemmroids weeks later. My husband however because he lost his job and insurance at the time and was loosing consciousness from a bad tooth infection, was treated harshly and when i tried to call the doctors in the room. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WERE ON THEIR PHONES TEXTING AND TALKING TO Each Other NOT DOING THEIR JOBS. as for my primary doctor. Best one ive ever had. :)

TERRIBLE service, TERRIBLE attitudes by nurses, Dr. Seemed lost. Wife came a little after 5pm, with bleeding issues, didnt get into be seen till AFTER 1130pm, had 1 lady that showed up 2hrs after us, and was in / out in 30mins for migraine.AFTER finally being taken into the back, we waited for 3hrs to be seen, as we were about to leave due to lack of care, I heard the nurses belittling my wife about her condition. THEN one of the ladies come to take blood and jabs the needle into my wife, who of course said ouch was told, oh that hurt? that shouldnt hurt No apology, just talked to the wife like she was being a cry baby. Wife bruised instantly in all 3 spots they jabbed the needle into her arms.That was the very last time we go to that butcher shop of a hospital.Also when we were waiting for discharge papers, nurse was mouthing off about how the prisoners that come in are her favorite patients (sarcastically).I would recommend that even if you are on your death bed, spend the time and go to Waco - Hillcrest. At least they pretend to care and enjoy thier job.

I been there years ago till now Ive seen what they put up with with a firm smile at time but there is two side to every story I just think if Im having to wait maybe they are back there fighing to all they can to save that babys life trust me now days my girl is one and its sad how many really dont make it in your bigger hospitals I dont know why anyone would be so ugly to the person who sits there 12shifts to be ther for whatever they render aide and rush to that hospital when no well I cant come they are your your ER Nurse I thank god he gave me my very own my hat off to all of you !!!!!

The Clinic is OK. The main hospital is OK. The ER is atrocious.CMHS often employs doctors in the ER who will purposefully misdiagnose patients will less severe diagnoses than is actually factual, for the sole purpose of cycling that patient out of the system and out of a hospital bed to make room for new money, er, I mean patients.I personally know people that have been sent home with staph infections where the doctor called it cellulitis, sent home with bacterial lung infections where the doctor called it a viral infection, and send someone home with a C. difficile infection and kidney failure and the doctor called it an intestinal blockage.

Wouldnt take my family anywhere else.

I sat in the emergency room from 10 am till 5 in the afternoon. Watched everyone go infront of me when I had a child crying because it hurt so bad.

I came here for a checkup and I waited 3 hours so I left came back and now Im still waiting Im already at an hour and 25 minutes worst hospital ever

They literally just refused to check my 38 week pregnant wife. Flat out refused service.

They failed to tell me they didn’t take my insurance. They did however take my insurance information like they did. Not going back.
