I do my best to be polite and follow the lead of my optometrist but they literally do their best to belittle me. This place is okay to go to for updating your prescription but God forbid you have vision problems. Just go to the one in Leominster. Last I went here, I was ridiculed by the person who saw me and left embarrassed and upset.

The staff seemed nice but wow slow! Had a 1040am apt time, was not roomed until 1135 (after I had to ask if they were running late). Waited until 1155 and finally walked out after NOT being seen. IF I had waited and DID need my eyes dilated I would have been there for 2+? hours thats ridiculous if you ask me.

My Daughter had gone to Dambrosio Eye Care and it was time for me to go for a check-up because of my diabetes. I went June 2014 and the Female Dr. I saw was excellent and everything seemed OK. I had wanted a new prescription because I got headaches, but they said what I had was good enough, and theyd check again in a year.Fast Forward to Feb 2015. I was having trouble with my vision. Things were going blurry randomly and I was becoming afraid to drive. Plus, I felt sensitive to light and thought something wasnt right, so I made an appointment. They took me in on a Saturday. I mentioned my issues and that Id also like to get a prescription for bifocals as I felt that was the cause of some of my constant headaches. Well, the staff was light and the people there seemed a bit arrogant and didnt even listen to what I was saying.I was given a cursory eye exam, nothing in-depth that would be used for filling a prescription and another test. In the end I was told I had dry eyes and was given a prescription for Restasis? $370.00?? I didnt have the insurance to cover that, and I did not feel I had dry eyes.I walked out without a prescription for glasses and was never given a reason for my blurred vision.A week after my visit I temporarily lost partial vision in my left eye. What ever I had was progressing, but these people THOUGHT they new what they were doing and didnt even listen to me, or look for a related issue. Never gave me any ideas, or how I should follow-up if it re-occurred. To me, the staff I dealt with that day were arrogant and clueless.I ended up going to my GP who sent me for some other tests and referred me to a DIFFERENT optometrist. Maybe if I had gotten the same Dr. I had the first time, who seemed very competent, things would have gone better. But I wont ever go back there with a chance of seeing the arrogant, incompetent ones again.

I got my glasses at Lencrafters. Well, one day at work at the hospital my glasses broke. I NEED my glasses. My supervisor told me to call DAmbrosio and see if they will fix it. Even though my glasses were not from there, they knew I was desperate told me to come in and they fixed it free of charge in 5mins(Edward) and I was back at work in no time! I also had to travel that night. They were heaven sent and I will be going there next time! Highly recommend and thank you so much DAmbrosio!

They were not horrible but both times I had an apt there I was there for 2.5 hours each time. Very slow and the Doctor seemed a little arrogant and rude.
