Dr. Kofinas is an amazing specialist and I highly recommend him! Dr. Kofinas caught an abnormality along my placenta that a previous maternal-fetal specialist had missed and he immediately started treatment. He was present during all of my appointments and was VERY thorough in examining me and the baby and if we had any questions he answered them thoroughly and never rushed us. I left every appointment feeling confident that my pregnancy was going well thanks to him. My son is now 6 months old and is a happy and healthy boy thanks to him!!

Because of Dr Kofinas and Dr Piliterri, our baby is now a healthy 2 year old bit of heaven! After 2 miscarriages, we were beyond fortunate to have met Dr Kofinas. You can tell that Dr Kofinas does his research and is a master of his trade! It is because of him that our daughter is alive now. Thank you Dr Kofinas!

Dr Kofinas and the ladies at the front desk are wonderful!I have been going there for the last 2 years. Dr Kofinas is direct and does not leave any atone unturned. If you want the best you go to best.To all the ladies at the front desk they are truly caring and ao thoughtful. Always very accommodating. Christine is always on point.The ultrasound tech are just the sweetest and most patient.. I was s asking questions ans they were never annoyed or bothered. On my last day there everyone was so happy for me. 5 stars all the way.Thank you

I cant say enough about Dr. Kofinas and his entire staff. Dr. Kofinas is so kind and really takes the time to explain things and answer all of your questions (I bring long lists). His knowledge and expertise coupled with his bedside manner made me feel safe and comforted from my very first appointment. I knew I was exactly where I needed to be. All of his staff are always kind and there is always someone there to take your call and answer questions. They never make you feel like youre a pest or that theyre too busy. Sadly, thats hard to come by these days.

Dr. Kofinas is a God send. He helped bring two of my children into the world and now a third on the way. He was able to perform measures beyond the scope of any medical professional to sustain my pregnancies. He is kind. He is caring . He is honest and straightforward but that is what you need. Wouldnt every woman want to know what they.have to do to bring a healthy life into the world? There is no one I would trust with my medical history other than him. After reading the only other review available here I felt incredibly inclined to leave my experience with Dr. Kofinas and staff. After multiple losses and such terrible sadness and frustration, my husband and I were referred to Dr Kofinas by a friend who referred to him as a genius. I couldnt fathom that this man would be able to help us finally keep a baby. After meeting with him to go over the extensive blood work panel he ordered (yes it was extensive as is the treatment) he promised he could treat me and assured me that he would put a baby in my arms. It is now 7 months later and I am 7 months pregnant with a healthy baby boy. I believe in my heart that had we not made the switch to Kofinas Perinatal our lives would be tremendously different right now. My regular OB was far from experienced enough to help us. I cannot describe the amount of care that is given to this baby. Every single person at the office is laser focused on our well being. While it is an undertaking and can be expensive, I would pay any amount of money to have the piece of mind that both myself and my baby are being cared for at the very highest level. I recommend Dr. Kofinas to anyone who will listen. I will forever be grateful to Dr Kofinas and staff. There is a special place in my heart for all of them.Melissa Godden

Any pregnancy can be a scary experience, especially if you are going through your own health issues that may cause some concerns for the pregnancy. One can become so sensitive, because the high risk pregnancy can be so overwhelming. I came to Kofinas when I was in my 10th week of my pregnancy. I was bleeding excessively since I first learned of the pregnancy and was recommended to go to Kofinas. It was a scary experience for me, considering I thought that I had lost this pregnancy, but am forever grateful that I had Dr. Kofinas as one of my doctors. It was very apparent that he was very knowledgeable and was a straight shooter, he was honest an never mislead any information to me. Dont let your first impressions taint your opinion of him. He is very passionate about his work and will not leave the room until all your questions are answered! During one of my scariest moments in life, he was there to make me feel reassured and safe. His staff is very personable and makes you feel right at home. I never felt like I was a bother to any of them. If you are recommended to go here DO NOT THINK TWICE.....GO! You will not regret it because Dr. Kofinas will make sure he takes care of you!

I read some negative reviews and I am appalled to say the least. I struggled with major infertility issues and was sent to Dr. Alexander Kofinas at 6 weeks pregnant. The care I have received to this point has been nothing short of professional, attentive and compassionate. He is a beast in his field in my opinion. Hes definitely a doctor I would highly recommend.

This is the first review I have ever written and felt that there was no way I could not warn others about this Dr.! His bedside manner is unacceptable. My husband didnt even like coming to appointments with me because he couldnt stand to watch how this man treated me. The best decision I ever made was to find another doctor!

After trying for over a year and then suffering a miscarriage, I thought I would never be able to have a baby. I ended up getting pregnant shortly after my miscarriage and was referred to Dr. Kofinas. I again was having issues in the pregnancy. Without Dr. Kofinas help, I know I would have miscarried. Instead as I write this review I am holding my 15 week old daughter. Thank you Dr. kofinas and your staff for all that you do! I am so blessed!!

Dr. Kofinas and Dr. Pilliteri conduct an extremely shady business together. They build one another up as the best and perform unnecessary surgeries to make money. Go with your instincts. I wish I did.

If you are struggling with infertility this is the place you want to be! They get to the root of your issues and have the solutions to help you get and stay pregnant. I will be forever grateful to them.

Awful. As I went to add my review I read others and noticed that some are “appalled” by negative reviews!? This is disgusting! It is extremely clear that while some have good experiences (thank goodness) many others have had horrendous encounters with Dr. Kofinas. I was sent to Alexander Kofinas in Garden City at 8 weeks and he almost killed my unborn child. He verbally abused me and I find him to be nothing short of unprofessional, pompous and arrogant. I too was sent for unecessary tests and surgery! I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy. He shouldn’t be allowed to practice!

I am another person who was subject to this Dr.s unprofessional and unacceptable treatment of patients. I was put on Lovenox but found out after SEVERAL other opinions that I didnt need to be on it. Medicine I dont need while I am trying to conceive? Disgusting! Dr Alexander Kofinass attitude is rude and demeaning. I would never recommend this Dr. There are so many more qualified Drs in this field. As the other poster said thank goodness there are happy stories mixed in but please dont ignore the others. I got my miracle baby from another amazing Dr and it definitely wasnt Kofinas!

No, I do not regard this mans bedside manner as professional in any way. The amount of genetic testing he sent me for was unbelievable. Diagnosed me with Thrombophilia and turns out after other opinions that I do not have OR need to be on medicine for. The way he spoke to my husband and myself is absolutely unacceptable. Misdiagnosing someone who was desperately trying to conceive is just disgusting. I have my amazing baby boy now and it is NO THANKS to Alexander Kofinas. He showed me everything I dont want in a Dr. I dont need the crude nature, the extravagant bills or the unnecessary MEDS!

Dr. Alexander Kofinas should not be allowed to practice medicine. He forced me into unnecessary testing ($12,000+), put me on Progesterone and Lovenox shots when I DIDNT need to be and then MISDIAGNOSED me. This Dr. took pictures of a supposed 2nd baby that mysteriously appeared 9 weeks into my pregnancy. He rushed me from his office in tears after YELLING at me- saying I was going to bleed to death and loose my other baby if I didnt have this 2nd baby removed immediately. I wake up after surgery to find out there was NEVER a second baby! Alexander Kofinas never apologized, never admitted his mistake. Instead he yelled at me on the phone, telling me that the Dr.s were wrong, he saw what he saw and that was it. He never was concerned we my well being. He didnt care about my ONE real unborn baby that he could have killed! He cared only about his PRIDE and his MONEY. He demanded payment and INEVER heard from him again.If you read stories about his practice, his brother, and the staff you will see a common trend. Yes, there are some happy stories, thank god. But those happy stories are surrounded by horror that this man has created, leaving scars both physically and mentally upon families.

Awful experience with Dr. Kofinas. I dont need to be treated like this during my pregnancy and no woman should think his behavior is normal!
