Boone loves to go to Hounds Town Gaithersburg and we love it when hes there because we know hes having fun, well cared for, and safe!He always comes home ready for a good nap too! :) Plus, the exit bath always makes him soft and fresh smelling! :)Rich and his team are AWESOME! Been going here for about two months now and my dog loves it here! The staff is very responsive and super nice. I get a great value for the boarding and daycare services. I highly recommend them for your dog needs.

The HoundsTownUSA_Gaithersburg team has been great from the beginning. I was fortunate enough to see the place before their grand opening so I knew it was a safe clean environment for my pup. My pup has epilepsy, the staff is professional, caring & attentive. I’ve seen great displays of communication from am shifts to pm shifts both through daycare & boarding. Due to the pandemic I had not traveled in a while & just recently went on a trip. While away, my pup stayed in boarding/daycare. The staff was always informative, quick to respond & always paid close attention to not only my pups needs but those of all the others around him. This is a great team who’s priority is the safe and happy play of all the pups in their care. I have total confidence and comfort knowing my pups is in safe hands & has lots of fun at HoundsTownUSA_Gaithersburg!

My puppy has been going to Hounds Town for over a month now and I could not be more satisfied. He never wants to be away from me EXCEPT when I’m dropping him off here. The staff there is always so helpful and understanding with my pup and I feel so good leaving him with them. Also if I’m ever curious or concerned about what he’s doing I see him all the time on Hounds Town social media so I know for sure he’s living it up. If I could leave 10 stars I would!

We love HoundsTownUSA! My dog is very well treated and always comes home happy. Our concerns and questions are addressed in a timely manner. The entire staff is friendly and professional. We will definitely be bringing our furry family member back again!

Staff is friendly. My Shiba Inu is shy and nervous around new people. I was amazed when Mr. Stoll was able to engage our pup immediately. It was comforting to see her go with him without hesitation. This was our first experience boarding any dog and Hounds Town staff made it a wonderful experience for us and for our Shiba. They posted pictures allowing us to see how well our Shiba was doing. We were able to communicate with staff by text. We were like new parents leaving a child for the first time. Kat (staff) was very responsive and never made us feel like we were texting a bit too much. We really appreciate how receptive they were to the needs of our doggy and how understanding they were with us. The prices seem reasonable. The most important thing for us was the care they gave our dog.

Ive tried a few other daycare, but houndstown is the best place around! My 9-month 50-pounds puppy is very energetic, and loves going there to play. We try to take him every Saturday to socialize and he loves every minute of it. Also, whenever we have to leave him overnight we know he will be safe and well taken care of... honestly, houndstown is what gives us peace of mind to travel without taking our puppy! Highly recommend it

I drive an hour from NoVA and sit in 495 traffic and it is totally worth it to give my dog the time of his life! Great value compared to what’s around me and it’s is the exact business model I was looking for. Thanks Hounds Town for setting my mind at ease!!!

I have a Siberian Husky who loves it at Hound Town. He gets excited every time we pull into the parking lot; he runs into the building so eager to play with his furry friends. I have appreciated the- nice, friendly and safe- environment they established. Additionally, I have come to appreciate the many pictures they post on facebook of him. Those photos are comforting, because I can see him socialize and staying active. Overall, my husky and I had a great experience at this doggy daycare. Thank you.

Hounds Town Gaithersburg is a great place for dogs. The staff is friendly and remembers the dog’s names. They are so welcoming and attentive. Marlo gets excited each time I drop him off. I went out of town for 5 days and I felt confident that Marlo was in good hands.

First time taking our rescue dog to a boarding/day care. We were really worried on how she would do. She was well taken care of and were now more confident leaving her there if needed. Defiinitely will be using the daycare and boarding for all our 3 dogs

We love HoundsTownUSA, my dog would ask to go there if he could talk! We love all the staff members and how much they live and get to know all the dogs! I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone!

Max LOVES HoundsTown and so do I! Max is very energetic and he gets to play with dogs with similar personalities. He has made some of the best friends. The staff there really goes above and beyond. I especially love the Facebook group to see pictures and videos during the day!

We started going here when our dog came back from another boarder with bloody paws from scratching on a crate. He loves this place as he gets to play with other dogs and not be locked in a crate the whole time! Staff are extremely nice as well!

My dog had a great day, it seems! Wish there was an outdoor space but overall was happy with their daycare. He was definitely worn out when we picked him up. Plan to use again periodically for half and full days of daycare.

Unfortunately, our introduction to Hounds Town was not very welcoming.We arrived to have our pup’s temperament evaluation and we never made it past the lobby with Ruby.From the outside we could hear the dogs barking, upon entering the primary door we could smell the various odors, and into the lobby we went.Upon entering the lobby we were greeted by a gentlemen who was more focused on the monitors than listening to us. We tried to explain how Ruby is with unknown men and how to approach her, the distraction of watching the dogs on the monitor took precedence and he continued forward in a negative manner.Ruby quickly retreated behind me, identified the door, and made a sudden move to escape. We calmed Ruby down, tried to explain the approach directions a second time, and yet he failed again to address Ruby and went leash first.This time we made the responsible decision to leave, without the evaluation, without using HT for our dogs day care.We were disappointed with our first impression, the gentlemen could not safely watch the dogs and listen to us, and somehow understand Ruby’s caution.Scheduling the same day appointment was great, two stars for initial customer service, no additional stars for in-person lack of attention to detail.

The second we walked through the door I could tell my dog was going to have a great time. I love that he got to play so much!

After driving for over an hour, their idea of socializing my pit since he was a new client was to bring out a male husky. In a new environment. When the husky growled, mine - clearly tense to having them bring out a dog randomly from nowhere - reacted. Was then told “nope, not going to happen” and nothing more. I’ve never been somewhere that has a one and done mentality to working with animals. At first I was upset because of my wasted time, but now I’m glad. I imagine they’d probably neglect my dog or keep him isolated because he didn’t react how they wanted. I’ll never bring any animal here in the future and will go out of my way to keep anyone else from doing the same whenever boarding comes up in conversation. I boarded my pit for a week with zero issues less than a month ago and came from a dog park yesterday so this “violent animal” probably had a better staff that knows how to patiently socialize. Good luck to you if you feel like gambling with your animal’s life.

Loved this place for my pup.I specifically liked that he was matched with the right group of play mates - which gave me a piece of mind that he and the other dogs would be safe playing together.

Hunter (my puppy) loves spending the day! I have tried a few other places, but Hounds Town is the one Hunter is excited to go in.

Pup spends the whole day playing with friends, and if life happens and we need a hand, we can call and arrange a doggy drop off!

These are dog people, they know how to care for our pets. When our Berner cannot travel with us, Hiunds Town is our choice for kenneling.

I took the tour and I was very impressed. The owner was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I really liked that dogs staying overnight get their own room. No wire cages. The building is fully alarmed for both fire and burglary. They have CCTV that the owner can access from his phone as well as on site. Easy access right off of Shadygrove Road and 355.

I had 3 dogs of different calibers, they all had a great time!

Love, love, LOVE this place! Ive had my dog in other places but Houndstown is way above the rest. Nice new facility with very friendly, knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend Houndstown Gaithersburg. 5⭐!(BTW, the pet taxi is pretty cool too!) 🚕🐕‍🦺

This place is the REAL DEAL! We went away for the weekend and needed boarding for our pup. Well Hounds Town Gaithersburg came through! Not only did we get great customer service, fantastic pricing, and an amazing service but we also got the fully interactive doggy daycare that came with the overnight boarding! What a deal! Our boy Boomer has had what they call #HoundsTownHangover for two days now! Thank you Hounds Town Gaithersburg, we can’t wait to be back!

Before HoundsTown took this location over it used to be a different doggie day care, one that i took my dog to once and never again, safe to say now that HoundsTown has replaced it my dog can’t get enough of this place, he loves it, i love it, it’s a win win, it’s obvious they really care here!

Omg my dog loves going there, comes home very tired which is what we want for our furry friends lol they are the best and give love to them like if they were theirs. Bath time is wonderful they can keep our furry friends clean and shiny. I’m always telling people “hey do you need a daycare here take them to HoundsTown”lol
