Went down to the pool to see what they just spent all those millions of dollars on.  It was just perfect.  Much better than having your own pool and all that goes with that. Met the pool manager and complemented her on the excellent pool maintenance she was supervising and the lifeguard staff, which almost outnumbered the swimmers.

Always a good time at Whetstone Pool!

Whetstone Community Center and Pool is one of the great amenities of Montgomery Village. The pool has slides in both the baby and kids swimming areas, and a variety of depths for all levels of swimmers. There is a diving board and well for everyone who is able to pass the swim test of swimming at least one full length of the pool without stopping. There are picnic tables and umbrellas, and spraying fountains to keep your cool on hit summer days. The community center has a multi-use activity room overlooking the pool, and there are mens and womens lockers with showers and changing stations. The new playground out front is a great space to play and is ADA accesible. Altogether this is an excellent activity center for the whole family.

We take our kids to this park all the time and the pool during the summer. The park is great except that someone keeps breaking the gate locks. The pool is great with a slide in the baby pool. The main pool has a nice slant getting in for kids, as well as a big slide, some water jets, and dumping buckets. There is plenty of room away from the kid stuff for teens and adults to swim.

Residents are charged a premium price with dues back here but the hours and days this pool is opened are ridiculous. For instance apparently every Wednesday is a national holiday in MV during the summer as NONE of the pools are open, what?! Is this the Soviet Union?? I guess its because this is how they’ve been doing it for 50 years, so God forbid anything ever changes back here. Also most of the pools close before Labor Day. Again who comes up with these dumb rules!? So after the last week of August don’t look to most pools to be open. I’m very disappointed in how this place is operated!

Very good love the little splash things and the slides for little kids not every child can go off the driving board or big slides so I love they have a little slide that kids can use

Great pool center! Water slides and water park zone on one side for little kids. Then several lanes and a deep in. (12 feet) They also have a 5 foot zone and a 3_4 foot zone.

Very nice community. Kids any age would have so much fun at that pool. I would recommend it to any family.

If the long haired male lifeguard is working, bet your kids are gonna be yelled at for simply enjoying the pool.

Pool was recently redone. Great for kids! A few lanes and a diving well.

The pool is great and the water was very clean.

MVF is not what they make it out to be. The golf course near this looks like something out of Jurassic Park. Not very inviting and definitely not worth the trip or time.
