It was okay but wouldn’t not go back. They were nice but the girl was SO rough with my hair. I feel like I lost more hair from her pulling it out then when I first got there. My scalp is still sore the next day. Definitely not good at all

I had my hair colored & styled on 7/03/21 by Alyvia. She bleached my hair to a level 8 & applied vibrant magenta permanent dye via balayage. The magenta didn’t fully cover a lot of where she bleached my hair & I am not happy with the results or my experience because the unbleached parts are an ugly yellow shade of blonde since I was only lifted to a level 8 & the yellow is all through my hair & pretty visible. I wasn’t fully happy with my whole experience getting my hair done, not just unhappy with the coloring. I ended up leaving with pink dye all over my ears, neck, face, & bleach on my face, & a wet head because she ran over time with me & rushed processing the dye & finishing me & didn’t remove the color & bleach from my body (the amount of color left on me was a lot & dyed my clothes & car seats head rest). Apparently there was a mistake with scheduling my appointment & blow drying time wasn’t added to it like it should have been, but no one realized this till she got to the end of my appointment, so I had to leave with very wet hair & I didn’t intend to have to leave with wet hair. I paid $495 plus $99 tip, so like $600 total. I don’t feel I should have had to walk out with a wet head, a lot of dye & bleach still left on me, & not properly colored hair like I thought I had gotten. & even days later for some reason this magenta dye, with my hair fully dry, continues to bleed onto my neck & ears, & I haven’t even washed my hair yet since it was dyed. I wake up every morning with a pink neck & ears that I have to clean off & this happens if I leave my hair down all day as well. I’ve never had vibrant color continue to bleed like this when the hair is dry & with professional permanent salon quality vibrant dye. I’ve had vibrant dyed hair for years, in pink shades as well, both with professional salon quality permanent vibrant dye & with semi permanent vibrant dye bought from online & in store which I used to self dye my hair. I have been trying to get in touch with Alyvia since the following morning after my appointment on 7/04/21. I messaged her on her Facebook page Hair By Alyvia to ask for her to correct it & sent her multiple photos to show what was wrong, I’ve never received a response. On 7/07/21 I called the salon at 10:20am & asked to speak to Alyvia & I told the person on the phone that I’ve tried contacting her with no answer for days & had an issue with my hair color, I was told that Alyvia would call me back that day sometime but I never received a call from her or anyone at the salon. I decided as a last stitch effort I would email the salon themselves to try & get a response from someone & explained what happened, I emailed the salon on 7/08/21 in the morning. It is now 7/08/21 at 7:50pm & I still haven’t received any calls, emails, or messages regarding my complaints. I received a thumbs up emoji from Alyvia to my messages on her Facebook page at 5:18pm on 7/08/21 but that’s it & that is not a response. This treatment has been completely unacceptable & unprofessional, I have been more than patient & tolerable & have tried everything I could to get the issues resolved. All I wanted was the color corrected, that isn’t asking too much at all & would be the decent professional thing to do. At this point I am very frustrated & very disheartened by this experience. I feel my last option is to write a poor review to try & warn others not to use this stylist or salon.While me & Alyvia did have a great rapport during my appointment & Ive known her for multiple years now, I won’t withstand this type of poor service & lack of communication.

What a gem of a salon! Everyone is super nice and friendly and oh-so-talented! I’m so lucky to have found it! The salon is impeccable clean (and sanitary - they even cleaned my cc before returning it to me!). They take their time to do the perfect job (I spent 8 hours getting my dream cut & color and the time flew by!) My stylist @thelookbyroxy is AMAZING! She takes her time to listen carefully and offers expert advice in helping you to realize your vision. She cuts no corners (pun totally intended) and ensures the perfect result! Take the plunge and get your dream cut & color! You won’t be disappointed!! And tell them Christa sent you ;-)

I went to Grace at Salon Haven in Gaithersburg MD. I went not knowing what I wanted but I told her my preferences and she did an absolutely stunning job! she was so nice to talk to and explained everything she going to do as she did it. the outcome was everything I wanted and more!I She is now my new stylist!

Highly recommend Alyvia for your salon needs. Especially for my fellow blonds! Im super picky about my hair, and was so happy to find her 5 years ago. She listens to what my hair inspirations are, and nails it every time. Shell help you figure out the best color and cut to compliment your features. Ive done various shades of blonde and darker, and always get compliments on her work. So glad I can trust her to have my hair looking fabulous! Belinda runs a great salon and is super friendly too.

NOOOO! Do not go to this salon!!! Absolutely ridiculous, wasted of time!!! The hair stylist ‘Alyvia’ was a nightmare. You’ll waste $500-600 for nothing if you get your hair color done with her. Never again!!!

Had the best cut and highlight with Lindsay, he knew actually what to do with my very thin gray hair. He is wonderful with mens cuts as well. My husband who is very picky was so so happy with his cut as well. We will be back.

Belinda is amazing. She listens carefully to what I want and what my concerns are. She is a true artist with color and a genius with scissors. I walk out of the salon feeling like I got exactly what I wanted.

April has been doing my hair for a few years now. She listens to exactly what you want and is very talented with cuts and color. She has both dyed my hair brown and given me full blonde highlights on separate occasions and I am always extremely happy with the results. Really friendly salon with a comfortable and calm environment.

Bri attended to my needs very nicely. I got a great cut and the salon has such a relaxing atmosphere!

Here to lay 5 stars on the best haircut experience ive ever had!MEN: go see LINDSAY, dont waste time or money anywhere else. For the past two decades ive had some truly weird and horrible haircuts (especially in the Kentlands salons steps from my door), so i am never expecting to get my moneys worth at any of these expensive places. But on the advice of a friend in the neighborhood i got an appointment for me and my son with this guy, Lindsay. My hair has NEVER looked this good in 50+ years of life. Seriously. My sons fade looks so sharp we started getting compliments as soon as we walked out! Will definitely be coming back every month or so :)
