Called this morning for appointment with a particular stylist. Was told she could do appt. at certain time. Drove 45 minutes and checked in at appt. Completely COVID form at checkin. Was escorted to waiting area. Went to Restroom at appt. time and received call from stylist that she was at home and did not know she had appt. with me. Said her head was all mixed up and she could hardly stand up. Went to check in and was furious that they had scheduled appt with stylist but had not confirmed that she knew anything about it. Upset that no one had called me to let me know. At that point there was NO admission that La mer had dropped the Ball. No one apologized. The owner dribbled something about Covid but that was not the point. The Salon should have said “We’re at fault ... we will take care of you ... yada, yada . I wanted a free service after coming all this way. The owner said Yes, I will take care of you and put me in a room to wait for 30 minutes. So, 30 minutes later she comes in to tell me she will give me 20 percent off a haircut. Now, I have spent the entire morning trying to get my haircut. La mer blew it and now they are going to tell a senior citizen on a limited income that there is No salon anywhere that would ever give a free hair cut. It was So unbelievably unprofessional. I said that how can you do businesd this way. She began to bully me when challenged and threatened to call the police. The front desk did call the police but I left. I asked for the owner’s name but she would not give it. Cowards don’t give their name.

Since 2017 I’ve been getting my highlights done with Miguelina, she is awesome! My hair is thick, and unruly at times but she knows how to handle it like a pro. I recently had a Keratin treatment done and my hair feels great. Highly recommend this salon!

Sahara is amazing! She was on her way out the door and stayed to do my hair. She had overheard me ask the clerk for a last minute wash/blowdry because my hair straightener had just broke and i had a date that evening. The clerk didnt have any one available, however Sahara heard my plight and offered her services. She stayed late just for me!! She was so sweet. Her blow outs are also amazing!!

I have been going to this salon for cut, color, and highlights, since it opened. I have only seen Russell. Hes a seasoned stylist and is very meticulous. He colors my hair dark in the winter and then I get full highlights in the spring. Also I have very coarse and dry hair, Russ is the first stylist that has taken care to make sure my hair doesnt get damaged; he adds additional deep conditioning treatment to the hair color before applying it. So even with the highlights (which usually damage my hair), my hair looks healthier!

My daughter and I had the best Mani/pedi today at this salon. I highly recommend Lily(Lee). She was very professional and paid extra attention to details. Looking forward to my next visit when I am in town!

I was nervous about coming here after I read the comments but Im really glad a did! I got a pedicure with French tips and had the best experience! The nail technician was very kind and attentive. (I think her name was Lyn.) She paid attention to every detail of my pedicure! All the instruments she used were sterile. I will definitely be coming back.

I recently got a massage here and The place looked neat and very clean. Staff were professional and my massage technician was very friendly and took her time to work on the spots that i wanted her to focus more. I will definitely recommend this place and be back soon.

Had my appointment scheduled at 10:00 am, came in right on time to find out that the hair stylist is not there yet. The receptionist told me to have a seat. 10 minutes later, I got up to see if she was there yet, to have the receptionist make big eyes and say that I never came up to the front desk and it’s the first time she sees me... very weird..who the hell would want to just come in and sneak into the waiting area? She basically paid no attention to who comes in, even though there were literally just 3 people inside.The hair stylist was just blah. Not impressed at all. Could have gotten the same hair cut at the “cuttery” for $20.Also, the salon seems dirty in the hair washing area, considering it was in the morning time, I don’t think they keep things clean anywhere else.Would not risk doing anything else there.

Really nice people but went to get highlights and she totally FRIED my hair. Its been a month and the hair at my roots is still dry and completely unmanageable. Ive spent so much money since on hair masks and conditioning treatments and none have been able to undo the damage. Great for cut, do not get color - they do not protect your hair!

I got a living social deal for Microblading and I was so nervous at first. I couldnt have imagined how natural the brows came out -- the color, shape, and texture look so real, Im just wondering why I didnt do this earlier. Nicky who did my brows has done this for years and is a real artist.I just got my touch up done and its gotten even better. One note- if you can wait to wash/workout/ wear make up on your brows for 10 days after the tattoo vs. the 24 hours, it will make them last way longer! Thank you Nicky!

Great Customer Service! I am a regular at this Spa. Love the pedicures because the basin is lined in plastic. I feel like its very safe and clean. Everyone is extremely friendly!

Nice technician did my pedicure. Over all I am satisfied but I think they use too much oil kn the end for the best results. I almost slipped and fell while walking to my car.

I have been coming to this salon ever since they open and ever since i stepped foot in, I have felt very welcomed and accommodated by the staff. The environment is very friendly, the place overall is very clean. I get my hair done by Sahar and my nails done by kathy, they always end up giving me the results that I want. I’ll also like to mention that the shampoo assistant here gives the best scalp massage i’ver had. every time I leave this establishment, I am very satisfied by the services.

I literally almost had a nervous breakdown after waiting 3 months to grow out my eyebrows and having someone create a catastrophe on my face! I usually get my brows done at Montgomery Mall for $12 and I just spent $20 thinking the quality would be better. Never again😭. The only reason I sat in the chair is because the front desk girl eyebrows looked amazing!

Very unprofessional for many reasons Ms. Sahar !!! First off she can’t seem do eye brows correctly never the less I got highlights and it came out yellowish/grassy , along with damaging my hair very intensive . I’m very sadden as I truly believed in her and it’s not the first time she creates a hot mess . I would not recommend her. I also got my eye lashes done from who I believe is the owner Nicky which my eyes got very swollen and a few of my real eye lashes fell out . Leaving me to look like a monster !! I will post a picture as proof.

I got keratin treatment done and after washing my hair looks awful. They said they did it right but it does not show. Very bad experience. Bought shampoo and conditioner from them, did everything as suggested but no results.

Beware I had microblading done here and it was awfull.I explain that I wanted the microblading to blend in with my natural eye brows I told her I had my eyebrows done years ago in New York and they tattoo with my natural eye brow and I loved them. I thought with the microblading I would have even better results.She pencil in my eyebrows thicker then what I warted I told the technician thst they were too thick over and over again . She told me not to worried. She has been doing for eyebrows for years , to take her word. It is going to look natural and will love them.After this1 my eyebrow almost completely fell off.2 She did them above my own so now I have two tips at the end of my eye brow . My own and the micro blading tipsStay wayMy brow never grew back the same.So stay away.

I had a bad haircut I just got from another place ( Kentlands) and was recommended by a friend to go here and I was not disappointed and she felt so bad she gave it to me for free 😀

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTSI dont even know where to start with this place.1) Very rude person at the front desk, I think her name is Laz. Nasty attitude.2) I got a brazilian wax (Groupon), horrible job by lady. I usually get my brazilians at European Wax Center, and oh boy this place sucks compared to them!!3) The lady didnt wear gloves. Did I mention I got a brazilian?! Unbelievable.NEVER AGAIN.

Microblading gone wrong!!!! I am so upset. I will not return for my touch up appointment. I called the receptionist was very nice and said she would tell the manager. They said they would follow up with me. I never heard back. My brows are uneven and patchy. I so regretful that I had this done. I dont have the trust in the brow artist to return. Buyer beware!!! I would not recommend this service to a friend or enemy. I found an expert to fit brows. I also waitied. Full month to make sure the ink settled. This was a gift and now I am paying some to fix It.

First of all, I use to love coming here. I rarely ever write bad reviews but I felt like I should. Ive been to Le Mer only a handful of times and had services done by Chi. Shes great, however, this review is based on the salon itself.Since finding out Chi has moved to the Kentlands, the owner at Le Mer has tried to coax me into not following Chi by offering discounts on my future services. I find this to be very unprofessional. Needless to say, I will be following Chi for her services at her new salon. Not only that, but I have witnessed the owner airs her drama and annoyance in front of all her customers.Lastly, I have found out that some of the services the owner offers is by unlicensed technicians. The owner at this salon has allowed her technician who is NOT licensed to do facials, perform a facial on a friend of mine. This place is extremely unprofessional, and doing dirty illegal work. I will be making a phone call to the Board of Cosmetology tonight. Be weary when doing business here, and also watch out for the owner who is extremely manipulative.
