Well for one the staff is not professional nor do they speak English and I am not trying to be ignorant because everyone deserves to earn their living but for someone to not understand or speak English make it more difficult for that person like me. I went to go get my hair done my nieces and my daughter hair done.I was over priced i feel so for my daughters hair I paid 150$ it is shown below the lady did not follow instructions after she had confirmed with me on what it was I wanted she went ahead and did what she wanted instead. On top of that my 5 year old was sitting patiently up until it got to the last THREE(3) BRAIDS! When the lady doing my daughters hair got impatient with her to the point where she had lost her manners speaking to someone else child, I had was trying to let her know how I felt about it but she replied “I don understand what your saying” the most frustrating thing anyone can go through.I got my hair braided in 2 big braids too much edge control or whatever was used was used wayyy to excessively to the point where my hair felt stiff and uncomfortable. My nieces hair wasn’t not done properly and was done in a hurry unfortunately I don’t have pictures to provide. Still I was overly charged in my opinion. They could’ve have done a much better job.Will I be going back ? Hell No! Will I recommend them to other A hell nah I’m not they don’t deserve that. The stuff and management need to go through a whole other training process for hospitality & go revisit that cosmetology class if they can.Money that went down the drain smh! I wish I knew better

I called to make an appointment for my wife and daughter, to reach out to a person I was referred to by someone... but the lady that answered it have no phone manners or professionalism. She was telling and screaming and couldnt understand what she way talking about. I found out she was on another call as well with someone else.I inquired if the person I was referred to was working before my wife and daughter heads out her way, but snapped and started to get loud for no reason.All I wanted was for my daughter her to be made she have a picture day tomorrow as school.But good things I called ahead of time. We took our business to Silver Spring area, we were trying to avoid driving further but this was not worth it.

I just want to say I was denied of service due to a review. Now I understand it’s up to the business whether or not they want to provide service. My thinking would’ve been “okay we gave a bad experience to this young lady so let’s make it up to her and let’s give her a better experience then the last” instead they decided to lie in and say that my daughters hair was not a good texture & it was too short to do her hair but when her aunt called they had told her it was due to the bad review I left.Now I’m not sure why I decided to go & try again but honestly that’s what I get 🤷🏽‍♀️I honestly truly hope this place goes out of business, it’s upsetting they technically did it out of spite over the bad review … it’s like they couldn’t take the constructive criticism it’s a whole mess in this salon on top of that when I was leaving there were 2 ladies laughing about my situation outside of the salon near their car.

Absolutely not coming back to this place again. The worst experience ever. This will be the last time I come back to get my hair done. Albertine and her staff do not treat her customers well. She will quote you one price over the phone but when you get there and get your hair done it’s a completely different price. The place is also very filthy. The ceiling fans have a layer of dust you can see from the front door. Albertine has an attitude all the time.

I got my hair braided for the first time and I absolutely love, love, love how my braids turned out! As soon as I left the salon I was getting compliments on my hair. My braided name is Emma she was so nice and chill with me with all of my request. ASK for her! LolHighly recommended!

Albertine is extremely unprofessional. Reached out to her two weeks ago for a braid style for which she responded would cost $700. I told her never mind. She called me attempting to explain the price and I told her I still wasnt interested. I found another style and Albertine told me $300, fine. Made an appointment for Wednesday. Albertine called every day asking, can you come today? NO, my appointment is Wednesday. I found this to be extremely annoying.Got to the salon, showed the young lady the picture she starts braiding my hair then Albertine came in with a man, and the young lady left...I was asked to switch chairs and a different lady starts braiding my hair. Albertine comes over and says thats too long, its going to be $500 not $300. What!!! TWELVE (12) HOURS latter this young lady is still braiding my hair! Albertine is making videos, joking around, jumping from head to head AND NOT ONE person could have the common courtesy to offer even a bottle of water. I asked the gentleman in the shop at 10 pm if he could ask Albertine to help finish my hair, she just stood outside and continued laughing and joking around. I finally got up, well, my stomach got me up and I went to get something to eat.When I returned Albertine was gone. This isnt the first time Ive had issues at this salon, but it will be my last time.

My box braids are on point done by Amy. She def “slayed” my hair as Ms Albertine would say! I love the mixture in color that Amy added. Purple, white and black, I am truly in love and happy with them. Needs a little bit more organization though, cus when I got there the staff directed me to another salon which is Ms Albertines salon. They sat me down then we walked back to the other salon and got my hair finished in 6 hours but it was all worth it. Thanks guys the staff were nice and very helpful when it came down to make decisions on how big or small I wanted my braids. Will def be back !!!

Albertine and her staff were all professional and patient. They speak French, Spanish and some African languages at the Salon in addition to English. The music sounds like a party. Theyre careful that all hands are sanitized upon arrival and a new mask is provided. I got my hair beautifully colored and got a blowout - all very well done!

Update: they owner called to apologize for the service and offered for my hair to be re-done with no extra charges. This time the stylist did a very good job with my hair. Am changing my rating from 1 star to a 4 star.Terrible! Dont waste your money if your hair is natural, I doubt they know how to handle natural hair. I went to get a two strain twist and the final product wasnt professional at all. And the stylist took almost 4hrs to get it done cause she kept getting distracted..

Called and scheduled an appointment for a hair dye at noon. I got to my apt @ 1205, the ladies seemed surprised i was there asked if I had an apt and I said yes. They called the lady to confirm and she told them she was on her way. I waited until 1pm, the lady came in, asked what color I wanted and I told her. The lady informed me they didnt have that color and the supplier was closed. I waited an hour an a half to be told they couldnt do it. Yes, it was snowing however I made it on time no do not rush. All of the issues could have been avoided by questions being asked during the appointment making.

Albertine Couture Hair Salon is well-located, very accessible with ample free parking. They pretty much do everything concerning any type of hair, long or short, natural, textured, colored... They do braids (everything you can think of! 😲), sew-ins, and even customized wigs! They have make up artists and stylists that will make you feel like a million bucks!And to top off, the owner Albertine is very passionate about her work as well as efficient.

Let’s just say, I will not be a returning. My appointment time was not respected and I ended up with a poor quality stylist who refused to follow directions and was very slow. I asked for knotless braids and ended up with knots in my braids. Very disappointed, should have listened to my gut.

Dirty combs and brushes, dirty sink, they can’t tell you what products they’re using in YOUR hair and also don’t want you bringing products you want them to use in YOUR hair. Very unprofessional and hostile owner. Stood next to my car to argue with me about cancelling my walk-in. Paid some man 10$ to literally run water through my hair. DO NOT COME HERE. Especially if you are a natural. Look around and observe everyone else’s head.

The salon, the owner, the stylists, and the manager are all professional. My hair always turns out exactly how I expect. Always pleased with the style. The salon is very clean and friendly. They have strict COVID-19 protocols which makes me feel safe.

Mimi is awesome! My daughter’s natural hair blow out and silk wrap is beautiful and healthy. The perfect cut to maintain her length and rejuvenate some of her ends! My crochet braids were expertly styled and done right! Mimi is a true professional with unique talent and skills!!!

The entire hair experience was beautiful. I love the atmosphere, I love the music. Best of all Im adoring my hair. The service I received was excellent. My hairstylist Joelle did a fabulous job. My crochet style looks like a weave. Im pleased from the booking to the finished product. This is my second time and am looking forward to a long relationship with this salon.

It is 9:15 AM, I got here at 8:45 AM to drop my mom off for a 9:00 AM appointment. Doors locked, no staff are at the business. At 9 AM, the owner said someone will be here at 9:05 AM. After 9:05, they stopped answering the phone altogether. Who does that? The appointment was with Lucille Lawson. No apologies or anything, not even answering the phone. Absurd and appalling.Update: So the stylist arrived around 9:30 AM, due to a traffic accident. Thirty minutes, though? Suspicious... Her braids were started after 10AM and she was done at 7 PM. That was a whole work shift. Talk about a Snickers commercial, not going anywhere for a while. Be prepared to wait. It looked nice, but would have went a lot faster if two people worked on one head of braids to cut the time in half. That way, each customer only spends 4 hours there as opposed to eight.

I have to say, I am completely disappointed and frankly appalled at the service I received at Albertines. I have been a loyal customer for years, even driving out of my way to come here after moving almost an hour away, and after this time, I will not be returning.A few months ago, I went to Albertines to have Senegalese twists done. After mishaps in the scheduling and waiting almost an hour to finally get started, I left the salon not with the style I had asked for that began falling out of my hair in a matter of days. I returned to the salon and asked for a refund, which Albertine stated she was not able to do, I could either have the style redone, or receive 50% off of my next style. As I did not have another 10 hours to waste at the salon, I chose to receive the discount on my next purchase.I then went to Albertines this past Thursday to get crochet braids, after receiving an email sent by the salon advertising an extended holiday special deal of $80 for the style, in addition to the discount I had already been promised. After finishing (and waiting an additional half hour so Albertine could take pictures of the style), I went to pay and was surprised to be told it was $150. When I asked about the special, she stated that they only applied to curly crochet and not straight crochet, a distinction that was mentioned nowhere on the email that she sent out. I brought up the discount and Albertine then added the specification that it had to be the same style and the same stylist, neither of which was mentioned months prior, after she refused to address the style that her salon had messed up before. Albertine was cold and disdainful and I am astounded at how unprofessionally she could treat a customer who has been faithfully going for many years. The styles can be nice, but given the inconsideration and deceitful nature of the business owner, Id advise giving this place a pass.

That 3.7 stars is BS plain and simple I will no longer step foot in your salon you are unprofessional your stylist are unprofessional you all do not listen to what it is that the client asked for I called the very same day and the next day and the next day after that leaving messages for you to call me back because my hair was not done the way I asked for it to be done I was not able to keep my hair and I had to take it out the same day and you never bothered to return my phone call ever since you got that shop your work has been going downhill I think you and your employees are a very rude and inconsiderate when it comes to your clients all of my edges after I asked for my perimeter to be left out where snatched out it shows which clients you cater to and you dont have to be a genius to see which ones those are just trash

It took them more than 10 HOURS to finish my hair, and it was a simple one (shoulder-short box braids). I wanted to do condrows on the side, but the girl didn’t know how to do it properly. I ENDED UP WITH SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT OF WHAT I WANTED. I went a Friday at 5 p.m, started braiding at 7, went home at 11 p.m with hair half done because she was TIRED and wanted me to come the next morning at 8 a.m, I said ok ( kinda annoyed). Came at 8... she finished at 3 P.M!!!!! VERY SLOW AND BAD QUALITY OF WORK. I DON’T RECOMMEND.

Told them I want a lock specialist and they said they have one got there at her said 8 o’clock time she came late and never did a touch on the hair gave it to someone else to do and at end of the day the style I explained and requested was not met all I got was no style just regular twist wash and dry and she didn’t even do it herself wrong place to go for specific style

Albertine is the most hard working professional women I know and she takes pride in her work, customers, business all while being very professional. I want to start off by saying I am currently at the end of my pregnancy and I came in before my induction to get a quick 4 jumbo cornrows so I dont have to be worried once the baby is out. NEVER will I ever return and I would advise anyone out of the area or nearby to also not do so themselves! I sat in a chair for over 2 HOURS due to the hairstylists not being able to do my hair properly. The owner Albertine walked over and scolded the lady who added a JAR of gel to my hair and advised another representative to start my hair over.The next stylist proceeded to add MORE gel and blow dry for the second time. I spent another 45 mins trying to explain the way I wanted my hair braided keep in mind I ONLY wanted 4 braids 4! I have been to this salon over 3 times prior and even though its always difficult explaining due to their language barrier I usually leave with my braids being done somewhat to my liking. After the additional 45 mins, the owner walked over to say the ONE braid that was finally done used too much hair and if I wanted my other 3 braids done it would be an extra $10.I showed her all my prior 4 braids done by there salon and it was never an issue with how much hair was used and instead of coming over to apologize for her two different hairstylists who was unable to do my hair and wasted over 2 and half hours she decided to ask me for more money. A PREGNANT WOMAN is uncomfortable in your salon sitting in a chair while multiple people tried to help in just doing 4 BRAIDS and she still had the audacity to ask for more money!!!!!Please do not waste your time, the owner is not concerned about customer service and has no empathy towards anyone who walks through her door. You are better off going somewhere that your money will be appreciated and your time will be valued.Another lady at the time was also complaining about how every time she comes theres a different price for the same hairstyle...She is obviously money hungry and you would expect the loyal customers you would treat MUCH BETTER. Reputation is everything and it only takes one customer to lose 5 others.

Joy did an exceptional job on my hair, she was very professional and attentive. I’ve been to a handful of salons and this is by far the best quality and experience. I highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed.

I went to get vox braids (waist length) and they started falling out about a week later. Maybe it’s because i’m active, but this has never happened to me before. They look very pretty, but their braiding isn’t very up to par.$200 down the drain. Happy quarantine.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have been going to get my hair done here for the past one year and I have had my concerns but I overlook them because the lady who constantly does my hair is very kind. Today I went there again and specified what I wanted. I was braided box braids that were waaaaaay shorter than what I had asked for. They said they will do them for $200 and ended up charging me $180 instead. My mother told me to go back an get the length I wanted since I had skipped school to go get my hair done and the Albertine came and suddenly tells me what I had asked for was sixty dollars more. She then claimed that they had charged me less and I had gotten $180 dollar box braids before and they were longer than what I had on my head right now and she still denied it yet I had picture proofs. Spare yourself the trouble and go find another salon to go get your hair done. And they are too expensive for the services they provide. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Totally happy with my first experience at Albertines. Sara Benie did my hair. She took her time and did a marvelous job. I am growing out a pixie cut and I have a lot of hair. They gave me a price and stuck with it. I am used to ALWAYS paying more at braid shops because they ALWAYS underestimate the time and hair.Definitely going back.

I came in for senegalese twists. They lady said that she wouldn’t be able to do the jumbo but could do them smaller. I said okay. The whole time she is trying to convince me to get something else because one small section on the side was damaged due to my radiation. I explained that we should be able to work around it as well as do what you can. She further explained that the braids wouldn’t last long. I’m under the impression that means a month. THESE TWISTS LASTED A WEEK. The rest of head has a good amount of length and there was so much slippage. After two weeks my hair looked as if I had my braids in for two months. I will never return to this location again. Save your money go somewhere else.Upon reading the comment, the owner gave me a call. I sent her pictures of the situation while explaining that I had returned to the shop before writing this review. She apologized profusely and promised to fix the situation. She scheduled me for that Sunday morning and had another staff member re-did my hair. I am happy with the results.

My stylist Sandra was patient with me, listening at every step and I got the final product I desired. The owner, Albertine, ensured that I was pleased with the result before I left. The shop has undergone a nice transition from its appearance to its uniformed staff. Will definitely return.

I brought my daughter in for a box braid style. Two braids have already fallen out and have loosened in 3 weeks. I called in to make an appointment Albertine says ‘sure what time do you want to come, what style do you want’ I said I needed to redo the front. She said no I don’t have time for that. So if I were doing a whole style you would fit her in?? I told her I would be paying for this touch-up. She begins yelling on the phone talking over me. I have gone there for 3 years getting my daughters hair done and I have overlooked the disorganization, the long wait after making appointments, and even the switching of stylist while my daughter is in the chair. This I can not overlook. The lack of professionalism has stunned me, especially being a long time customer.

Albertine’s salon Is located right near family dollar and planet fitness gym so lots of parking which is good. I have been coming here for the last three years or so, literally. I don’t go anywhere else for my hair needs. I have my usual stylist who hooks me up but I had Sara for some conrows and she was awesome. Down to earth, friendly and professional. I absolutely love the ladies there!! So much good energy. Albertine will make sure you leave with your hair laid! She’s always around and makes sure your stuff is right. This place will continue to be my go to.

I was interested in twisting my hair for the first time and was not sure where to go. I found this place on google, and am very happy with how it turned out. The entire staff is very professional and did great. The price was reasonable as well. Only about 60 for my twists.

When I swiped my card I told her it was processing and handed the machine back. She then tipped herself and said thank you. THAT IS FRAUD WHO THE HELL TOLD HER TO CHARGE MY CARD FOR 70.00??? NOPE NOPE I cant patronize a business who steals money.

I’ve been coming to Albertine Hair Couture for at least 2 years. Today’s experience felt as if I was dealing with a loan shark. I had an appointment at 4:30 p.m. I waited for 2 1/2 hrs before someone was ready to do my hair. All I wanted was two cornrows. After my service I was informed the price was $50. That’s absurd and the price list on the wall said $10/cornrow. Albertine (the owner) told me the price list was before Covid and if she only charged $30 for 2 cornrows she wouldn’t make any money.Taking advantage of people during a pandemic to make sure you still make money is DISGUSTING Behavior and poor business. Not to mention the shop only wants payments in cash or CashApp. It’s a shame you can’t even support a business in your community!!!

This is Salon for hair, nails and facial. Lovely ambience, good customer service, ample car parking. I had a box braids done and the result was very nice.

I called the shop to see if they could do a press and curl not realizing that it was mainly known for braids and weaves. I was told that they do provide this service. When I got to the salon, I worked with a stylist who was unable to communicate with me because she only spoke Spanish and unfortunately, I do not.Everything proceed as expected until the stylist began to apply heat to my hair. The stylist ran a stiff brush from root to tip of my 4c hair instead of untangling from the ends and in addition to this, she used an overheated blow dryer on my hair without using any sort of heat protector.When it came to using the flat iron, she pressed my hair over and over (again without any sort of heat protector) and when given direction by one of the other stylists in the shop, she could not understand because she only spoke Spanish and none of the other women in the shop could effectively communicate with her. In fact, it seemed like many of them were making fun of her. I am not familiar with the dynamics of the shop but to me it came off as very strange and unprofessional.At the end of it, my hair was scorched, and I will never be going back to that place again. I just wish that when I initially called, the woman was honest with me about whether or not they could actually do a press and curl and actually do the style in a way that is healthy and protects the hair.

Tried once again to visit Hair salon and yet still the same foolishness. They say they are able to do any hair style & any hair type but those are false statements 🙄 they have no hair care specialist who works with people who suffer from alopecia nor thinning hair. Not to mention they.. try to convince you when they can’t do the style.. to get something different. When you pay your money, you should be able to get whatever you want done

This was my first time here. I usually just get two braids at another salon and keep it pushing, but when I tell you (I believe her name Sarah...??) She had my hair laid and SLAYED! I walked out feeling too much of myself lol! I will be going back. I live in Frederick and that 25 min drive was worth every penny. Thank you, ladies!

Reviews seemed good so I called to get braids taken out. Spoke to Jenny Who said it would cost $25. I mAde an appointment. I arrived a few minutes early. No braider was there so I was asked to walk across the lot to their other shop. I asked that Call to insure someone was there as it was bitterly cold and they seemed a bit disorganized. Instead they called and a few minutes later Vicky arrived. I’m still hopeful. Before I could sit Vicky said it’s $60. I protested that I’d never paid more than $40 and that I was quoted $25. Made no difference so I left. I was hopeful that I’d be able to find a good braid shop in Montgomery County. I will never go back. Fortunately I was able to go to lake forest and get the braids out much more reasonably. I was the victim of bait and switch.

I went to get micro twist done at Albertine hair salon and I got just that. My hair was perect and beatiful. It was the best experience ever. The owner is very friendly and nice. I had micro twist done its so beautiful I love it so much. I will definitely go back. And I would recommend Albertine couture salon to anyone who wants to get their hair done.

I had to make a last minute appointment due to another stylist not doing my hair correctly. I contacted them on Saturday and Albertine advised me I could come the following day at 2:30. Before we got off the phone I confirmed my appt was for Sunday at 2:30 and she said yes. When I got to my appt they had scheduled me for the previous day at 3:30. I called on Saturday around 5:30 so how in the world do you schedule someone for a time in the past? Anyways when I got there the woman at the front had to make a call to see if they could find someone (Im guessing to Albertine) then told me they would have someone available within the next 40 mins. I had an event to go to that night so I asked how long it would be for half tribal braids and half box braids since I was trying to be out by 6:30-7. The lady at the front told me about 4-5 hours so I changed my hairstyle and opted to get 2 layers of braids instead. Then when I asked how much it would be she told me $200! I said for just 2 layers of braids when the other hair style with the box braids (which supposedly took longer) was $150. The stylist who was doing my hair came over and told her to only charge $180 then took it down to $160. I did not get in the chair and start getting my hair braided until 4:00 when I arrived at 2:28! After I showed the lady a picture of how I wanted my new style, she still proceeded to braid my hair very small and she did not get finished my hair until after 9:00 pm! So I missed my event that I paid money to attend and got an entire different hairstyle than the one I originally wanted just for them to take over 5 hours on my head anyway. Im so disappointed because they can braid, but the organization is way off! They also need to put up an exact price list instead of making prices up as they go.

Best quality, they are open late, soooo many talented braiders, great at non braided styles. cannot brag about this place enough three years in I couldnt imagine life without them.

I wish I could give zero stars! The service was awful. I made an appointment with a stylist I liked from the last visit and asked if she could start locs, they said she could. I got there on time for my appointment and found said hairstylist napping, she then acted like I was rude to interrupt her nap time. She then touched my nappy hair and said that it was too short to be styled. She flagged about but then said she didn’t do dreads. Why they didn’t just tell me that when I was making the appointment speaks to the greater problem. They say anything to get you there but don’t care to keep you coming back. She went and got some lady from the other salon in the complex and the owner. They proceeded to talk about me and my hair in French but never addressing me. I had to interject several times to explain what I wanted. They said they could do it but my gut said they had no clue how to start dreads. I should have trusted my instinct because the owner had to draw how to part hair for the other lady. She then started comb locking my hair with wax. After a while I reached up to touch one of the pics and it was drenched in wax. I told the lady and albertine that it’s too much wax, they tried to take some off with a towel several times. I kept complaining about it but albertine really couldn’t be bothered and the stylist seemed clueless. When I came out of the frying pan with my greasy head albertine had the audacity to ask me if I liked it. I told her I did not and that I was dripping with grease. I asked her if she was proud of the work her salon produced and she couldn’t answer. Then she tried to charge me more than what she had told me when I made the appointment. I said I wouldn’t pay it and when I tried to sign for My payment the machine couldn’t read me (that’s how greasy I was) she said next time I would pay full price. I told her there would be no next time. All they had to say was that they didn’t know how to do dreads. I would have gone elsewhere and saved myself time and energy. They are unprofessional and rude (talk about customers not to them) and still do a bad job.

Unprofessional no one knew wat or how to do anything my braids fell out the next day. This place is to expensive for a lack of experience 🥴

I walk in and they dont speak. They just stare at you like you are the crazy one and go back to doing hair. Im like bih do you want my money or not? The only person who I like is Sidonie. She does goddess braids that the others cannot do. The woman with the blond short cut , who I think is the owner is cool too. But the dude the have answering the phone makes you not want to go there. He is money hungry and knowledgeable.

If you have a 360 frontal DO NOT go there because she will start criticizing your hair because in reality she has no idea how to install it. She installed my 360 frontal backwards and then tells me that I wont be able to do a ponytail. I was lucky enough to have my sister fix it for me because shes a hair stylist in England. I made an appointment for 1pm and when you enter they stare and say nothing and btw I had to wait for at least 4 hours before my hair could get done. So other moral of the story is no need to make appointments because its just a walk in but they dont tell you that which is very unprofessional. Im going to stick to my original salon.

(((((VERY UNPROFESSIONAL)))))I was referred by a friend. I called the owner to get my hair braided. She told me let me call you back she did call back and told me she had no one that could do my hair. I said ok and went about my day. The owner called me back a few hours later and said I have two girls who are going to do your hair, they will be ready in 20 minutes. I said ok but I cant be there in 20 minutes I live over an hour away, is that ok? The owner said yes and at 530pm the owner called and said are you on your way. I said yes.I arrived at 635pm, one lady confirmed the hair style I wanted and said ok let me get your stylist. My stylist came out and was sitting next to me. I finally asked like 15 minutes later is something wrong. She said you were late and Im trying to get a second stylish because I cant do this by myself. I responded and said it takes me over an hour to get here and the owner told me it was ok, so how am I late? Mind you its 5 stylish in the salon at this time. I said if you dont want to do my hair its cool, I cant make you make this money Ill leave.Me and my friend that referred me called the owner and got no answer or call backs. I texted the owner and she still has not responded to my text.

I wrote a long review on yelp but to make it simple do not visit this location. Albertine failed to mention she went up on her prices for weaves from 100$ to 150$ now for the new year. Both shops in the shopping center do not have people who she trusts to run the register outside of one person and she doesn’t have registers in both shops or Wi-Fi to use for her customers so if you are paying with card make sure you do so before the person leaves or you have to pay with her. She does not have prices visible in her shops and this is how she starts getting shady with her prices.I was not informed she went up on her prices until after hours of being in the shop and she informed me when she was well into sewing in my hair. According to Albertine since she graduated from school now she is charging more money. I would also like to add that she claims she does not like to do hair in Sundays however her business is open and she has hours of operation and always tells people she can do they hair on sundays. The whole situation visiting this shop was a mess and this surprised me since I have been going to the same location for 18 months. Albertine had a nasty attitude with me and also wanted me at one point to come back on Saturday night at 9pm for her to do my hair even when I told her that does not work for me. If anyone is interested in reading a longer version of my review please go to yelp. This just occurred on Jan 27 and Jan 28 in 2018 over the course of two days. Albertine may not be this way with all her customers but to me she acted like she really didn’t want to be bothered with me or doing my hair because of her schedule. I would like to add however if your in business it’s not about you it’s about the customer. I’m not interested in what is best for Albertine if I’m paying you for a service I need to get what’s best for me that includes times and schedules. I appreciate her business acumen however beware she can and will be shady. I am going to find another location ASAP to start doing my hair.

I want to update the review for me that my daughter Mikkia Cordle wrote.I still am not ok with the tardiness regarding my appointment time, but Albertine the owner and Lucille the stylist apologized for the tardiness, and the customer service and braiding for micros was excellent! I was so pleased to have Albertine and Lucille working together so that I could have a beautiful head of braids.

Had to argue the lady for a refund, because one of the hair technicians messed up my crochet braid.
