Found this practice through IC network database. Could not have has a worse experience. I was told because I did not have an infection that there was nothing urologically wrong with me and there was nothing they could do to help me. It was insinuated that my pain is in my head. As a student of an integrative medical school we were taught on the first day you should never tell a patient there is nothing you can do for them. Not to mention the extremely rude office staff, they need to be trained on how to talk on the phone. Please do not go to this practice unless you wish to experience the neglect their patients are treated with.

I’m not sure whats going on with this office. Ive had a procedure cancelled three times. Two times three days prior and the last time one hour prior. The doctor, manager and front office do not communicate and are not even on the same chapter let alone the same page. The last time it was obvious no one looked at my chart or records until the last minute. Its no way to run a medical office. Id recommend going elsewhere.

Ive only been to this eurologist 3 times in the past 2 years and every time they always give me the proper prescriptions, great advice and every time Im cured. I recommend this place to anyone that needs to see a eurologist. I was having a testicular and hip pain. After seeing the eurologist I was better after the 2nd day on all 3 occasions. The staff in the front are also great. Most importantly the doctors their are easy to talk to and they dont make you feel like they dont care which is very important to me.They explain what the cause is and how to prevent it and what to do. One more thing, I always pay cash and I have paid cash at other eurologist as well and the price is very good. The waiting time is not bad either they get you in and out! Visits were about $130 to $190 were other places charge over $200 but of course its depending on the treatment your receiving but you can but a price on your health. So anyone looking to go to a eurologist for first time give this place a shot.

I have been (excuse me WAS) a patient of Dr. Eric Tygenhof for the past 2 years with a history of elevated PSA tests. About 2 years ago my PSA readings became elevated so I went to see Dr. Tygenhof. He suggested I have an MRI of the pelvis because it is non-invasive and is very accurate in detecting prostate cancer. Thank goodness the test came back negative.Since that time Ive been prescribed Tamsulosin (generic for Flomax). This medicine helps men urinate when they have BPH. Dr. Tygenhof was kind enough to give me enough refills to last a full year. I just recently ran out of refills and had CVS call his office. Because I had a small balance of $80 on my account, I was told by his staff that before hed give me a refill, I had to pay the $80. I felt like I was being medically blackmailed because they were essentially telling me, You pay up or you wont get your medicine. It became quite obvious to me that this offices policy is to put money before their patients health. Of course I paid because I owed the $80 and the refill was given. I also made an appointment to see the doctor but the day of the appointment, I simply forgot to go! My bad!9 Days ago I called Dr. Tygenhofs office begging for a desperately needed refill for Tamsulosin . I was told by the receptionist in a very business-like, uncompassionate way, You must see the doctor before hell give you another refill since it had been over 1 year since your last appointment. Their first available appointment wasnt for 9 days (tomorrow WAS the date of this appointment). I asked the receptionist when I was last there and was told it was 4/26/17. I told her, He already broke the rule that you just told me he will hold firm to! I cannot pee and am in great pain! I was then transferred to the Office Manager who also expressed no compassion for my pain and suffering. I was told to go seek out another doctor if I needed the Rx that badly! Wow! Very rude staff and no empathy at all! In fact, because I somewhat raised my voice (no yelling, no profanity) and was sticking up for myself, I was told by the Office Manager that I was being rude!Just TODAY I just received a letter via Certified Mail (remember, Ive been waiting 8 days already to see him without my much needed Tamsulosin) which reads:This letter is to inform you that we are discharging you from the practice. During your recent interaction with my staff, you were disrespectful and rude, this undermines the patient/provider relationship and makes it very hard to provide your ongoing care. It will be necessary for you to seek alternative urological care outside this office.Wow is all I say! Was I sticking up for myself in trying to get them to give me just 9 days of Tamsulosin so I could urinate freely and also not have sudden urges to pee where I typically will wet my pants if Im not close to a bathroom? Yes I was! Was I rude and disrespectful? I certainly dont think so because all I was doing was debating with his staff to see if they would help me!I do not begrudge these doctors from wanting to run a profitable practice! But they are the ones who have trained and supervise their staff and its quite obvious (especially after I was fired as a patient by Dr. Tygenhof himself) that they are more concerned about money than they are their patients! The other YELP reviews reveal this quite clearly.Although Im obviously upset from being treated like a number instead of a human being with a health problem, Im actually relieved that Ive been discharged as a patient--their office has actually done me a favor! Thank you so much Dr. Tygenhof! I only hope you, Dr. Weinberg and Dr. Gazzaniga will read not just this review, but the others on the Internet. You have a serious problem with your attitude towards your patients and it starts with YOU ALL and then your office staff. You obviously condone them treating people like they arent important!
