The appointment was going great. Staff was nice and we were seen quickly. However at the end of the visit, the doctor picked my daughter up and carried her out of the room to the front. She immediately started crying. It actually shocked me because she is my foster daughter and most providers that see foster children know to let both the parents and the child know before you touch them. These kids see multiple people in their lives and it is not always a positive experience so they are not like non-foster children. The lack of awareness and sensitivity to her crying sealed the deal for me. We will find another location.

So first off I’ll start by saying we never actually got to see the dr or a nurse. We went in about a month ago and scheduled to have some testing done for my child. At the time, the front desk only had 1-2 people there. I was the only patient in the lobby. Both of them took a good 10-15 minutes to check on what i needed and check the previous person out. I believe the man at the front may have been new. Unfortunately, it took about 20 minutes or longer for them to schedule my daughters appointment (which was supposed to be tomorrow, Sept. 29th). Afterwards, I left thinking that everything was taken care of and they were ok with her insurance, considering they reviewed the card and info. Today, it is the day before her appt, and they JUST now call to let me know they don’t accept her insurance. Livid is an understatement, especially when I needed these results ASAP. I do not understand why that was not verified several weeks ago and why I’m just now being told this. It is unacceptable and now I am missing out on half of my work day, because I planned for this and they failed to let me know.

I would recommend this practice to anyone wanting an ENT Specialist that is kind, knowledgeable, and good at what they do. Dr. McClay was great in helping me out with a crazy ear wax build-up! He, and his assistants/staff, have great bedside manner. Everyone was very kind and helpful throughout my visit.

I personally believe Dr. Brenski is the best ENT in the metroplex. She is detailed, and totally methodical. She is so skilled and does not miss a thing. She called after hours herself to answer some medication dosing questions for my daughter after her procedure a few days ago , she didn’t have her nurse call, she called me herself and we spoke and she went through everything again and again. Not only is she an excellent surgeon but she actually cares enough to call her patients and make sure everything is OK and answer any questions. I’ve seen several ENTs and I will not go to anyone else but her from now on. She is very “matter of a fact” and I like that about her. I’m seriously so happy I was able to find someone like her and I fully trust her capabilities. There is no one better in my opinion!

Dr. McClay is truly the best! He is very kind, super knowledgeable in his field about studies and up to date medical information. He took his time ensuring we knew the options and started with the most conservative approach first. He answered all of our questions and was really patient and personable. I would highly recommend Dr. Clay for any ENT needs. The front office lady as well as the nurse were amazing also.

Professional support staffThorough patient evaluationDr. Brenski was thoughtful and creative in creating a treatment plan for our son. It is obvious that she cares about practicing medicine and not just prescribing one-size-fits-all solutions. We are grateful for her professional opinion and guidance as we try to protect our sons eardrums from chronic ear infections.Great cash discountCannot imagine a better experience and outcomeThis is our place!

They mail bills in such a manner that the day you receive it in the mail it’s already late.My latest complaint is that 6 months after my daughters last appointment I receive a “final notice” late notice because they didn’t record a payment properly in their system. It was paid months ago. They do not expect you to question their billing principles and are very rude when caught with their hands in your pocket book.

My pcp referred me to Dr. McClay. He was knowledgable with my son’s condition. The audiologist carrying out the hearing test was also knowledgable. I have been taking my son to Dr. McClay for about a year and we are happy to have found a great doctor and staff.

Dr McClay is great — straight forward, conservative in his recommendations and avoids surgical solutions when possible. Highly recommend him! Staff is great as well.

I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. They pretty much did nothing for my daughter and charged an exorbitant amount to be seen and I have insurance. Additionally, they tried to charge me for a visit twice. I question their business practices as far as integrity goes. I tried to talk to the billing office for 2 days, left voicemails, and never received a call back.

We loved Dr. McClay! The whole experience was very easy because of them. The entire office staff and Dr. McClay were extremely friendly with our 3 yr. old and did a fantastic job explaining the whole process to him and myself.

So far our experience has been great. Dr. Brenski is fantastic, and had incredible bedside manner with our energetic 15 month old. She agreed with our pediatrician that tubes were needed and we were able to schedule it quickly and in a facility less costly than Childrens, where i had originally planned to take him for a consult. To give you some insight - with my insurance it would have cost $800 more out of pocket just to have his procedure done at childrens vs the cook childrens surgery center (which was also fantastic!). I havent had any issues billing wise so far but, working in healthcare administration and dealing with insurance the last 10 years i dont forsee any issues. Most people dont understand how physician/facility billing work or how their insurance benefits factor in to your final cost. People are too quick to blame the facility or doctors office, without first trying to understand the process.

We were referred to Dr. McClay for a nasal endoscopy. My child was extremely uncomfortable during this procedure and the pain seemed almost unbearable. It was so hard for me to watch. Dr. McClay was unbothered. Whatever he used to “numb” it beforehand didn’t work. If you decide to go with this practice, talk to him before hand on ways he can make this scary semi invasive procedure more comfortable for your little one. My child had a second one by a different ENT following this visit, and it was pain free and she found the root of his problems.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Stay away from Amy Brenski. She wanted to do a very extensive surgery on my son that would have resulted in many days of missed school and much pain. He was completely asymptomatic. We got a second opinion. The second opinion concurred that the surgery was unnecessary and she called and tried to talk the second opinion into calling us and forcing surgery. We took him to Childrens for a third opinon and Childrens absolutely agreed that surgery was unnecessary. Dont let her cut on your child without a second opinion. In addition to all of the above, she has poor bedside manner. She wants you to know she is a doctor and smarter than you and your opinion does not matter to her.

Saw Dr. McClay today for our 4 week old sons tongue tie and stridor. He was SO great! He answered all of my questions and was so knowledgable and thorough! It was so scary to have his tongue clipped and my anxiety over this was pretty bad, but the amount of attention and care he pours into his job really helped me feel at ease with the entire procedure!

We came in and talked to Dr. Brenski about our daughters possible tongue tie, our son was with us as well whos 1yrs old and he was playing with something in the room as Dr. Brenski walked in, to our shock she was completely rude and a very stuck up individual to us and to our son from the get go. I would not trust this person within 100 yards of my kids, and then she made a comment about our daughters ears that pissed me off because our daughter is perfect in every way! Something about molding her ears?! Theres absolutely nothing wrong with her ears! make matters worse we paid $100 and left... but now Im getting a bill for $135 more for no more service or anything. Just a made up number that they need me to pay for absolutely no additional service! I would never recommend these people to anybody. Find another provider, one that actually bills you the amount upfront and not continue to bill you for nothing additional.
