RUNAWAY! I went in for laser hair removal on my lower back and buttock and was very badly burned on my vaginal area. The technician was NOT AUTHORIZED to be in this private delicate area. The oozing vaginal burns took 3-4 months to heal and required many more months of continued treatment to try and reverse the blackened skin, scars, and sagging tissue. Sadly, I am left with permanent disfigurement. I tried to handle things in accordance with my values but these guys were truly awful. They stonewalled me for 21 months refusing to provide their insurance carriers name so I could file my medical bills. Once I finally got in touch with the insurance company, the stonewalling has continued. I require surgery to fix the damaged tissue and still no support from them. First they injured me, then they exploited me. It really makes you wonder what this world is coming to. Ladies DO NOT TRUST Sona Dermatology & Med Spa.

Signed up for a monthly membership of $19.99 a month to receive Botox at a reduced amount of $7.99 a unit. This was in January 2020 then Covid-19 hit and couldnt go to business due to lockdowns. Tried to use and they said they stopped membership prices but they were still taking $19.99 a month out of my account. Total of $179.91 and will not refund me my money I never used! Dont trust these people!

I came to Sona Med Spa to visit Dr Adler for some skin conditions. It was impressive how organized and professional they are. All the pre-procedure paperwork was done via internet.Courtney was the person I dealt with to get everything set up for the visit. She is very professional and assuring. and handled my insurance claim in a breeze.Dr Adler is so laid back and makes one feel totally safe and comfortable. His many years of experience is very reassuring and his bedside manner is first class.I would totally recommend Dr Adler and Sona Med Spa for your Derm needs.

I had two other CoolSculpting consultations at competitor businesses before Sona—and they blew the competition out of the water! From the moment you walk on the door you are treated as a special guest. Olga was so friendly and personable during the consultation. She made me feel like family. The procedure this morning went very smoothly! They explained what to expect, made sure I was comfortable, and I even took a nap during the cool sculpting! I highly recommend Sona for their spa-like atmosphere, great service, and excellent pricing!

They gave me the wrong time for my appointment, and then when I showed up at the time I was given, told me it had been scheduled for an hour before. I did not receive a phone call or anything asking if I was going to be able to make my appointment, which I would have had I realized I had the wrong time. And all this after we had already rescheduled once before due to them giving me an appointment date on a day they were not open. Usually the service is great, and I have never had any confusion with any of my previous appointments. Very dissatisfied with this visit. I live out of state and the fact that I flew all the way down for this, to not end up getting my service, is very disappointing.EDIT - I have decided that this situation does not warrant 2 stars anymore, since the other services they provided were good. I just did not appreciate the way my appointments (and myself) were treated during this time.I have revised my review based on the service performed, NOT on the experience.

I did a cool sculpting near the armpit/shoulder area and the arm area on both arms. I had barely any results..not worth the thousands of dollars I spent. When I went back for my follow up consultation I asked to retreat the areas and they told me that it would cost another thousand dollars. Overall I don’t recommend cool sculpting.

Short Review: RUN - dont even attempt to get any type of work, procedure or process here. The consultants are not trained to provide any feedback or guidance. They are a bunch of salesman looking to take your $$. Stick with a MedSpa that is reputable - your body and wallet will thank you.Long Review: Was shopping around for alternatives to getting beach body ready and after all the online advertising and specials I came in for a consultation. The staff assured me that I would need a single process to get the results needed because of timing. I paid for everything upfront, and then waited 2-3 weeks for an opening. Once I got there, they informed me there was no bathroom on premise, I had to walk out of their office in my robe (I should have used this as a sign and walked right out!).Anyhow I get the procedures done, and then wait…and wait….and wait weeks. WEEKS upon WEEKS - NO RESULTS. I then start to become very suspicious that there are ZERO results. Seven grand ($7,000 later with NO RESULTS!). So at my follow-up consultation the team then becomes annoyed by my valid points and says they can do the procedure at Cost and the results are not guaranteed. So I ask the consultant whether it is even a smart move to pay cost price for again ZERO results. Again, they become annoyed and very apparent they cant give me anymore answers. Im a pretty calm person and its not about the $$, its about getting results. Why dont I see any, not even an attempt to show me a before and after picture to point “progress”. Literally no results. The consultant then tells me to call corporate, and see what they can do, because she doesn’t have any ideas and this is beyond her escalation. At this point I know I’ve been duped’ out of 7K. The responsiveness to get me through the door, now turns into a cold shoulder and weird relationship because I’m left hanging.Overall, believe the reviews you see online - dont dismiss it as a one bad review, or an irate customer expecting dramatic results (were all realists here). Most people that get MedSpa treatment dont want to admit they did anything, but when the service is outrageous, expensive, no results, and then no customer service or attempt to make things right - its not worth doing business with folks like this.This MedSpa is lined up with a bunch of classically trained crooks, once you complete a procedure they are unresponsive, they dont follow through (lets be honest they dont even know how to take proper before and after pictures).I have given Sona over 3 months to correct the issue, patiently waited, and now Ive cut my losses. Please dont even waste your time getting any procedure done at this location. Dont let the address or fake endorsements fool you. This is a makeshift shop. Please do your research, and go to a MedSpa that your trusted friends have been going to for years.Message to MedSpa: Shame on you guys for not taking care of your customers and attempting to back paddle out of your agreements. We bought the package 3 chemical peel treatments for my husband The payment each time is $203.5 He has the unwanted pigmentation skin. He did chemical peel too many times. we both have licenses and work in the beauty spa for more than 10 years so we know how chemical peel is work. The 1st treatment : he went home with darker skin like he just apply turmeric then after few days just around his lips peeled. A month after it he went back let them know nothing different no result even skin darker, The lady told him they did the medium level for him so she going to apply the rejuvenize peel for him . This is the top level stronger of peel. The second treatment: he went home with dark and redness. He said I hope this time be good because I feel much burner than last time. We waited for while this time even no peel any on his face. I called them let them know he not going to treat for the third time because no results and I said please ,stop the transaction for the third time! the lady said some one will contact me before it went through. They still withdrew the money and contacted me after it and said if I break the contract I have to pay extra $200. It was socks me. So she said better just keep it that way if I dont want pay $200 fee. I said we not break up the contract because no results we paid for burning only. She said she tried her best on ready.I asked her can we switch for the facial even much cheaper than chemical peel she said no can not. I dont claim her. She just followed the rules So over $600 for nothing I mean for uncomfortable and burning only. Not good customer service at all. They can do better than that. They not only loose my business they forget I work with at least 10 clients each day and I wont forget it keep talking about it with my clients. We went to R.Med spa ( Preston and Frankfort)he having professional treatment with dramatic results. Absolutely like the way we expected. I should have wrote this review months ago. It is interesting how quick I am to complain but rarely post positive reviews when I am happy with something. I am so very pleased to have found Cecilia for Botox injections. She is so very helpful, explains every injection site and why it is needed. She also took the time to explain fillers and why/where they would be helpful. I have 100% confidence in her and her suggestions. I have used other injectors in different locations in the past and have not been happy with the results. She (Cecelia) even injected under the eye area and I am beyond happy. Need more soon! I was looking at some of the other reviews and wanted anyone looking to know that Cecilia is definitely the expert to ask for! I think I will be ready for Juvaderm soon! Thank you! Kelly :)

I made an appt through their online portal. I gave my CC info and received two confirmation emails along with a appt reminder the morning of. When I arrived they said I wasn’t in their system. I am Still shocked at the response of the receptionist. There was no real apology for inconveniencing me. Along with telling me they couldn’t see me, implying it was my fault for not knowing that they give actual phone call reminders and I should have received one. They made zero effort to accommodate THEIR error. I understand things happen but you need to have good customer service to diffuse the situation. I called Dr. Caruth in Plano and got in.

First, I did not intend to write a review so far. However, the way they care for me and their attitude has made me so angry.I did dermal infusion which is “ non-invasive, 3-in-1 dermatological treatment that simultaneously exfoliates, extracts and infuses skin with condition-specific serums for an all-inclusive treatment in one step. Dermalinfusion provides immediate and long-lasting results for all skin types – with no downtime” (Sona Dermatology & Medspa).I was treated three times in total in the hope that my skin would get better in advance of engagement photography.From the first procedure, I was already disappointed enough. The main purpose I went to a medical spa was the specialist see, diagnose and treat my skin.But, the first thing that the technician asked before the session was what is your skin concern? I already have a detailed record of my medical history when I get counseling. The question that they have to ask is, you worry about blackheads and pore sizes when I look at your charts. So they can refer my opinion and start the procedure. There was no explanation for what I was doing during the procedure.The second procedure was OK. The technician checked my skin condition and adjusted the pressure. There was no such big complaint.The problem occurred in the third procedure. It is doubtful that the procedure time differs for each technician.The next day, there was a lot of scratches and little tiny blisters on my forehead, cheekbone area, and nose. I was so frustrated. But they told me that it will go away in 72hours. So I waited for three days and it gets worst. So I called to the Sona Medical Spa and I was so mad!The tone and vocabulary that they used were not professional. How can she tell me to put an ointment on my face without looking at my condition face to face?The first thing that she said, it is nothing just put antibiotic cream on it.I told her that you are not going to see my face? You have to take a look and make an accurate diagnosis. And she said I have a lot of experience, I can see whats wrong with what Ive heard.I am not ignoring her experience. However, the first thing that medical people should avoid is that you do not just diagnose the disease by looking at the symptoms.Always keep all possibilities open and order lab work as needed.For example, a cold or pneumonia is a symptom associated with cough and fever, and the underlying symptoms are the same. However, the treatment methods of the two are different. Even if the business hours are over, I would check the face and take quick action with an accurate diagnosis. Is not that the biggest advantage medical spa can do?What she has to say is, Im sorry, I will do my best to solve the problem, just apply antibiotic cream before your skin problems become more widespread. The order is wrong. If she talked in this way, I would not have gotten so angry.And because of this problem, I have canceled all the engagement photo shooting schedules. Why? I can not put makeup. I had to pay for a cancellation fee, and all my schedule was ruined.Do not forget, Sona Medical are dealing with a person who is disturbed by a broken face, has canceled all schedules. I can be nice, but it depends on how you take care of the customer.Human error can occur, I understand that.Every people have to learn at some point.The solution that I got was I have to buy ointment, soap, and cream by my self. And Time will solve this. That is it.I spent money because I wanted to get better skin, but I did not feel any better, and I feel bad because this problem happened. What if I just put a cat to my face and have them a scratch, if I want to be scratched on my face. After a consultation for a few items and paying my deposits, I show up and fill out my paperwork, then wait 30 minutes just to have some front desk lady tell me they cant do the procedure because I havent seen their PA yet. Why would you schedule my procedure knowing I needed to see a PA and you dont have one at the office?? To top that off they then tell me they cant refund my money yet since their corporate office is closed! Go to a real med spa or plastic surgeon. I should have never even thought about going to this place, they are just crooks like the other review said!!

I went to Sona in Frisco on Legacy because I heard of them on KLTY and thought they would be a reputable company that would stand behind their product. I was wrong. I spent 6 months going thru therapy to reduce my fat in my neck and no reduction at all. Even though I had the before and after pics clearly showing no reduction and they agreed that no reduction happened they refused to return any of my money or state that the services they chose for the reduction was on them. They are clearly in it for the money and if I was KLTY I would take them off their list of advertisers. It saddens me to think others might be taken in by these crooks and liars and that is why Im posting this review. Run from them as fast as you can. I reported them to the BBB & FTC. I WONT STOP UNTIL THEY ARE CLOSED

She is a compulsive liar who lives in a fairy tale, Kell was accused of stealing botox when all this was done from the black woman, she is not a nurse, she is simply a tech, she use to be a secretary at a mental hospital where she should have been admitted! She claims she is with a NFL player, but hes not even on the rooster, she is not a doctor, she is compulsive liar who talks about her fellow co-workers to the staff wow how classy! She does not have a Range Rover, she drives a honda on its last leg, she even talks about the horrible Regional Manager, who steals money from the actual Medical Spa and pockets it! Again, this is from her own employee. The nurse that works there does not live in the houses behind the spa, she lives in a Lewisville shack. Keitha please stop and be honest for once! This place is awful I have to keep calling and speaking to a bunch of different people to get an answer. I’ve been dealing with this issue since 2015 and to this day still can’t get it resolved. If you can go else where.
