We have been with Dr Latha and Dr Venkat since the last 9 years, and I highly recommend them for many reasons such as their professionalism. When doctors view their jobs as a service to humanity and truly believe in this and I have experienced it in every visit.I wish all the doctors and clinics work the way Southern Medical Associates do. Always responsive and willing to help. The doctors office is in a great area of town where parking is conveniently located so close to the work. It has always been easy to schedule an appointment, friendly staff that handles patient is completely hospitable and welcoming.

Dr Yedlapalli is my primary care physician, she is very compassionate , knowledgeble and with good work ethics. Staff is courteous and very helpful. Strongly recommend her as a primary care physicians for family and friends

Today i have visited my annual physical with Dr.SRI . He is simply AWESOME with his friendly nature and sweet words. Thanks for his hospitality. An inspiration to all other docs.

We went to Latha for my wife. After waiting for more than one hour she came in a rushed mode she didnt want to sit and talk or listen and prescribed few medicines and ran away. Completely disappointed. People spend time and money to setup the appointment to get good consultation but doctor is not ready to spend time with patients. 😞.

How to lose a patient? Not help when they need you. Wife came in for urgent care at 4.40pm and they sent us back saying they have a hard stop at 5 and offered to book an appointment for monday. Youve got to be kidding me. We are done with the doctor.

Though there was a bit long waiting time but i felt nice after meeting the Doctor. Its my yearly physical checkup. As per his words, exercise & sweet words are more fruitful than meds. #kudos again.

Dr. Venkat Yedlapalli, Dr. Latha Yedlapalli, and Mina Garner D.N.P are outstanding family physicians. They take time to explain everything to you in detail, I felt caring and concerned. They never are in a rush to offer all possible options. I recommend Southern Medical Associates highly and have shared my views with family and friends.

I went to check about dizziness and nausea,she was in a rush didnt hear anything, ordered blood work and didnt prescribed any.After the reports came she said every thing is fine but Im not and prescribed thyroid medication which Im already taking....waste of money and time....she Doreen whats the problem is...

Doctor is very nice but her front office and bulling tram is very bad .. they are using wrong claim numbers for tests and not helped us to resolve the issue .My Insurance is ready to help but they are not talking them. Please be careful with front office team and I hope Dr Sri can take care this issue.

Latha has been my doctor for over 2 years, she has given me the best care of my life, very thorough, caring. We are fortunate to have found such good doctors. Highly recommend to all our family and friends.

The doctors itself are good but you need a LOT of patience to deal with front staff and the punctuality of the front staff and doctors.1.if you go into their office for your appointment time you will be waiting at least an hour to hour and half even during this pandemic before the doctor comes to see you.2. If you have a test done and waiting for the doctor to call they wont call for few days to a week even after test results are out. If you call the front office they will say doctor is busy. When you have someone eagerly waiting for test results imagine being in their shoes.3. Front staff is more worried about collecting payments. Virtual appointments or follow up calls, if they say they will call you at Xam/pm they never will. When you call then they will react and first they ask is for payment if you are due.My ADVICE.. this is AMERICA not INDIA where sub kuch chalta. Please dont show your attitude and behavior and bring down the indian name. Just because most of your clients are indians doesn’t mean they accept anything. Please improve your service and replace some front staff if possible to send the right message.————*** UPDATE POST REPLY ***Thank you for your reply and understand the risk healthcare professionals face on day to day basis and can’t thank enough. My feedback is around your processes. Couple things to clarify1. The wait time i mentioned is inside the patient room and not in the front lobby. Pre pandemic and post pandemic it is always loooong.2. Your response about lab results that we should assume everything is good if we dont hear back for up-to week is probably not a good way when someone is nervous and waiting but if thats the expectation, setting that upfront is good.3. Lastly regarding the name in the reviews. I would gladly reveal my name if you are willing to take constructive feedback. I saw some other reviews where you rejected service because of negative feedback.Again i could go to other providers but I don’t see a need because as i mentioned the doctors are really good. If you can improve your service with regards to front desk, follow ups that would be great.

Wait time is too much

Dr. Latha Yedlapalli is awesome. Super cool and very friendly doctor. Regarding staff they are accommodating but i noticed lot of patients arrive late and expect to see doctor right away which is not possible as they have tight schedule similar to any appointment.I highly recommend Dr. Latha Yedlapalli.

Very friendly staff and Dr Latha Yedlapalli provided outstanding service.

The office is competent enough but it could be more efficient if the staff and doctors with a few changes. Messages left for the physician do not reach them at all. I had to call multiple times to be able to convey a message to the doctors. Additionally, the doctors failed to properly order labs I had requested despite being reminded 2 times during the appointment. Once results returned, I would get a call informing me results are normal without further details. Also, the results would not be posted to the portal in a timely manner. Though the physicians and NP are competent with medical knowledge, they could do better if they listened well, communicated well, and conducting matters in a timely manner.

I had an appointment this morning. The doctors office called me yesterday to confirm the appointment. The front desk was very friendly and I was taken into the room in 5 minutes. The nurse Jennifer was very friendly and thorough. Words may not be sufficient to describe the professionalism and knowledge of doctors Venkat and Latha Yedlapalli. My wife and I are there patients for the past 7 years. I wont even hesitate once to refer the doctors to my friends and relatives.

Two stars are missing because of front desk. The problem with front desk is that when you call them they will ask you if they can put you on hold. If you say yes, then be assured that you are going to waste at least 15 mins. If you want something from doctor, you will never receive a call back. Here is what happened with me.I am currently going through sever cough treatment. Even after four days of medication, Its not even reducing to the level where I can get proper sleep. I have spent 4 continuous sleepless nights because of sever coughing. So I wanted to know if I can go for Nebulizer. So I called front desk. After waiting for 10 mins I got an answer saying doctor is with other patients, and we will call you back once he is free. for next 3 hours I did not get a call. Then I called back around at 4.00 PM, and it went on voice mail. I left a message . As usual I did not receive a call back. Then again I called around at 4.55 PM, surprising front desk picked up the call but put me on hold for 15 mins. Then I though to call back again but now I couldnt since it was already 5:10 PM . The clinic was closed.This way, despite calling thrice for the doctors guidance, I left with an option to go for one more sleepless night :(

The facility accept walk ins which was great considering I went to several primary care physicians in the area and nobody else is accepting walk ins. Dr Latha was caring and professional and non condescending. Its a bit of a wait but its was not a problem at all for us considering we were accepted for a consultation on the same day. Thanks again.

These are wonderful people. Just about the only nurse that my daughter will let draw blood. I would recommend Dr Yedlapalli and her staff to anyone.

Had a very bad experience. I had an routine physical checkup and they charged me with office sick visit 267$ as i was having little cough. I was not informed beforehand when i booked the appointment ( i mentioned i have cough while taking the appointment but receptionist said its fine) Or when they took my blood for test in the morning as i was coughing then also. Dr latha yedlapalli also did not mention this in the meeting. She just gave me an dose of antibiotics without anytest or checking me, i had question that do i need to take antibiotics as my cough was not severe, she did not answer my question very well and she was in hurry

Dr. Latha Yedlapalli is good but this office definitely needs a good staff. All they have currently are a bunch of rude people. Never expect to get an answer back when they say they would. You keep calling them but they pretend as if its always your fault. Never going back here once I have things sorted out with them. Plus I had to wait a good 1/2hr before the doctor came in.

When i called doctor office, the front office replied wait in a line, after waiting for 18 mins , person came on call asked what i need and responded to wait in line again, after again 20 mins i dropped the call ... very irresponsible front office.

Dr.Yedlapalli and her staff are very friendly. Ive never had to wait to see her. She is very down to earth. She answers questions and concerns. She will honestly give her opinion. Lab results are posted through a secured website under your profile. The staff will also contact you or you can contact them.

They dont communicate properly to new patient if they are coming for general physical check up by Staff and doctor as well. They will ask you to come again to complete physical check up and they will charge you by saying, its a follow up check up when you go there. We also did not like about blood work, looks rude when they took blood. I will not suggest to anyone.

Very good treatment from Dr. Latha and her staff. The front desk was very friendly as was all the staff. I would recommend Dr. Latha any day. I was able to schedule a same day appointment and it was very economical for me.

The experience with the doctor has been wonderful but I have experienced a very unfriendly treatment by the front desk people while talking to them over the phone. I have never come across such unprofessionalism who would just hang up without answering the questions.

Since moving from New York in Nov of 2011 I have been going to See Dr. Lata Yedlapalli and Dr Vinket Yedlapalli, and found Both the Doctors to be extremely Professional and caring. They are busy because they see a lot of Patients and I do not mind waiting a few minutes as I know I will get top class treatment. I am 74 years old, a heart Patient and a borderline Diabetic their cnsistant care is keeping me alive. My wife had been going to some other Doctor for the last year and her health was getting steadily worse,then she came to see Dr Yedlapalli whose diagnosis showed that My wife Previous Doctor had miss diagnosed her illness . She was immediately referred to a specialist. she is a thousand times better now. Thank you Dr Yedlapalli for saving her.

Good treatment from doctor, but concerns with staff where they dont give information on Lab providers if they cover under your insurance or not. Make sure ask them the Lab work to send to right one which covers under your insurance.

Within three months for same cause Lab checkup recommendation surprised and paid out of pocket. :-(
