I was in severe pain when I got to this hospital emergency room on Friday night . They treated me well with a lot of respect . Very professional doctors and nurses on duty on Friday night . Thank you for taking very good care of me . I wish I could have thanked you more because I came in an ambulance but left walking . Thank you for not taking me for granted and for the excellent care . Now I have to follow up with a surgeon to take care of the cause of the problem. It’s the best hospital around here .

Honestly, I wish they would’ve built a Walmart instead. This hospital is absolutely horrible. They’re handle on caring for their patients is incompetent. My husband was sent here after being diagnosed with COVID and the nurse staff failed miserably. They continued to dance around any questions we had regarding his health but they would not listen when we wanted to have some input on his care. Long story short, say yourself the trouble and don’t come here.

Went in to Labor and Delivery at 33 weeks pregnant on June 20, 2021. I was taken care of immediately as soon as I walked in to the ER. The ER receptionist took us up to L&D where the nurse and on call OBGYN treated me with amazing care and bedside manners. This was my first time visiting this hospital, and I couldnt be happier that I chose is as my delivery hospital. I was monitored and discharged within a couple of hours. I will be back in a few weeks to welcome our Baby!

Room for improvement! I was brought in by ambulance with severe abdominal pain. Being an RN I understand what the possibilities of what I was experiencing could be. I also know how worked to the bone the staff is so I gave them some slack. When I got there I was put in a wheelchair and taken to the waiting room. Granted my vitals and EKG in the ambulance were almost malignant so with the abdominal pain, and unstable vitals along with my history of heart disease I could have been easily presenting with an MI. Even when triaged the vitals were still in the worrisome area. I know we are in a pandemic but every patient that came in after me was triaged and stable but was taken back immediately. There has to be a better way of using nursing judgment to assess all patients. A lot of people including myself who may need care will not go in if this is the norm. This process could be causing some outcomes that will cause a lot more problems. Please treat accordingly!

I brought my father to the Emergency Department on Sunday morning. The registration process went smooth and he was taken back in less than 5 minutes. My fathers healthcare team was exceptionally caring. They listen to his concerns about his condition and ensured him that hell be taken care of, and not treated like a number. My father was released today, and I can honestly say that this was the best hospital experience weve ever had. Although I was very worried about him, my mind was at ease because I knew he was in good hands.I hope he never needs to return to the hospital. However, if he has to, I will gladly make the 44-mile round trip just so we can experience the great care that Texas Health Frisco has to offer.(...and to believe, that my first impression of Texas Health Frisco was actually through a nice gentleman I met at my job!)

I’m still here. Don’t want to leave this hotel of a hospital. Thoughtful care, genuinely kind staff, excellent communication, toiletries in the bathroom just in case I needed them. Having been transported by ambulance, I did. Great food. Are we sure this is just a hospital?

If I could give the ER room zero stars I would and if I could convince others to avoid the ER until they get their physicians and staff on board to save lives, maybe the hospital will investigate these concerning reviews and make the necessary changes. My husband was told by his physician to go to this ER immediately because he had some serious, potentially life threatening health concerns. The ER drew blood twice and said he was fine and sent him home.No he was not fine and should not have been sent home with the symptoms that he had. Not once was my husband examined. Also, his primary care physician and new gastroenterologist was extremely surprised at what they did not do, they expected them to examine, run test and admit him.I pray that he never has to return to this facility ever again and we are definitely disputing the insurance claim because my husband was not treated for his medical emergency. What happened to physicians ethical responsibility, what happened to the oath they took, and where is the compassion to save lives????

A horrible hospital , we stayed in the ER for more than 24 hours as they don’t have most of the specialties available in the hospital , you go there sick , you wait for them indefinitely to transfer you only to a different hospital , no medical treatment & no surgeries if needed. They don’t have orthopedics nor Nephrology nor dialysis nor mittens for those with brain injury that pull their oxygen.I wonder is this a hospital with no specialties at all that can treat nothing ?!No patient rights & no respect to seniors or really sick people with their poor families.

Be careful reading the bad reviews. Some people don’t actually know what they are talking about. This is a brand new hospital and they are still filling it with special practices. I had the unfortunate event of riding over here in an ambulance with my Grandmother after she took a fall and broke her hip. The ambulance said there are certain treatments they can’t yet bring patients to this hospital for but in her case this was the perfect hospital for her. Let me just say we are WOWED!! Every interaction with staff from start to finish was beyond 5 stars. We really feel like we received extra special attention and care, this was a very personal experience and it made a big difference during a scary time. All the doctors and nurses took their time with us, got to know us and treated my grandmother very well. She had Dr.Sanders as her Orthopedic Surgeon. He was our absolute favorite! His bed side manner is exactly what you hope for in a doctor. He explained everything about her fracture in great detail in a way we could understand and told us all our options for her treatment. We feel very confident with our choice for her procedure and she had a perfect surgery experience! Everything from the Nurses to the Anesthesiologist, the Physical Therapist, the Internal Physician and much more staff couldn’t have been hand picked any better. We are just so thankful for the care here. I am pregnant and have already transferred to an OBGYN at this hospital just so I can give birth here this Summer. I can’t wait to meet my baby girl soon and I feel even more excited that I get to do it in such a great hospital with excellent staff. If you “have” to go to a hospital this one is certainly the best!

My son, who has Down syndrome, had to have a kidney biopsy. I had been dreading this day for months after they told me he would have to have the procedure done. The child does not understand pain. All he wanted to do was go to the movies afterwards. I was ready to walk out if I got a bad feeling. Joanne and the other nurses were the saving grace for us. They took the time to explain every step of the process to us and were constantly checking on him before and after the procedure. They took such good care of him and the doctors were great as well. Those nurses are worth their weight in gold! My son made several new friends that day. On a day that I was expecting the worst, they helped us through it.

Tonight was the scariest most traumatic night of my life. I ended up in the ER with my spouse. I held her unresponsive body in my arms waiting on the ambulance to arrive at my home. After getting to the hospital I was forced to stay in the waiting room. My my mind, my body, my soul, every ounce of me is going crazy. I pace the waiting room with the only sign of my spouse being a small glimpse I get through a window in the doorway. I go outside to charge my cell phone and when I return the security guard tells me if I go outside again I cant return. Already dealing with the weight of the world on my shoulders and feeling completely helpless, I have to also deal with this. I hope and pray no one has to go through what I went through. The medical staff were sincere people and the care was satisfactory but my experience on the other side of the ordeal was something I hope my worst enemy never has to go through. This is the worst experience Ive ever went through and something needs go be done to help with people in my situation.

We were not happy with our mothers stay here. The communication between staff members was nonexistent, she came home with many bedsores, and the worst thing is that THEY LOST HER DENTURES. They also lost her cane! How do teeth get thrown out? She is bedridden, how do we replace them? The pureed food they gave her was like paste, she couldnt swallow it, so she just stopped eating. We brought her home very weak with her bum chapped and with many bedsores. We can only hope that we can manage to get them healed. No one should get bedsores in a hospital unless they are being neglected and not turned enough!

Comment: Complaining regarding the ER physician Dr. Ho. My son and I came in last Tuesday morning. My son had an abscess on the right side of his face that grew overnight that got so big it was causing him not to be able to speak nor swallow. Everything was going well, but one of the things that I noticed was Dr. Ho never touched my son, not even came pass the foot of the hospital bed, to truly access his condition. They gave him a COVID test that came back positive. Dr. Ho told my son with me in the room as well as two other nurses that they were going to admit him then transfer him to another hospital that had an oral surgeon on call or staff. They started IV antibiotics and pain meds. I had to leave to go pick up his wife and by the time we got back, Dr. Ho DISCHARGED him. They sent him home with two prescriptions of PILLS of antibiotics and pain meds. Again, my son could not swallow nor talk and I explained that with them at the beginning of the visit with the nurses as well as Dr. Ho. His wife picked him up and a couple hours later, my son felt as if he was drowning so his wife drove him to Presby Plano through their ER and they admitted him right away and he stayed in the hospital from last Tuesday and was discharged on this past Sunday. He had surgery to lance and drain the abscess as well as to pack it. His attending physician, as well as the oral surgeon couldnt understand why he was discharged from this facility, why Dr. Ho prescribed PILLS knowing he couldnt swallow nor open his mouth, and during his stay at Presby Plano, all the blood work he had showed he DID NOT have COVID nor any antibodies. Dr. Ho was PISS POOR as a physician and my son could have died had we went with his course of action. My family, nor his family will NEVER come to your facility for any reason unless it is a life or death situation. But the real question is, will we actually get the medical treatment we deserve and need?

I have been to many hospitals in my life, this was the best experience Ive ever had. From the moment I walked through the door I was treated like I was their only patient and my comfort and well being was all that mattered. My first 2 visits were outstanding, today was a disappoinment, the staff including security guard was fantastic, very nice folks but you can thank Dr Christina Esther Kammerer for the one star.I came in w severe abdominal pain and this woman tryed to treat the pain with the same medications I had at home, she was heartless and inconsider in regards to pain management, Im not sure if she got the impression I was after narcotics but she is 100% wrong.Didnt bother to review my medical history. I had neck surgery 3 weeks ago and I was under pain meds at the time.As I was leaving the ER the pain got so severe that I actually passed out for a few minutes, couldnt drive and had to call my wife to pick me up and drive me to Baylor were I actually found Dr Fox who took the time to sit with me an explain the cause of the pain and help me control it, keep me for 3 hrs till I was able to manage the pain, he also discover blood in the urine a test never done at Texas Health.Dr Kammerer if you dont enjoy your job make a change.I will go back to this hospital because I believe they have good people but if the same Dr is on duty I will not be treated there. My apologies for the bad review but is was due to the Drs treatment.

The hospital staff was awesome. But Dr.Hoffman was the rudest Dr I have ever encountered he assumed because I have been to Texas health before that I was just there to be there if he would have actually checked me out I wouldnt have suffered dry socket for days on end he told me nothing was wrong and released me I had infection and wide dry socket my dentist found it 3 days later due to me being told there was nothing wrong I finally could not stand it anymore and called my dentist. Dr Hoffman literally checked my urine looked in my mouth said I was fine and sent me home. Will not go back there.

I had very bad experience with this facility.. my 1st and last. I needed to get my 1st preventive colonoscopy done ( covered at 100% by insurance). As I live across the street from this hospital, I decided to get it done here. I wanted to make sure everything is done right including billing so that no last minute surprises. I am glad I did .. as I got a shocker when I spoke to their financial coordinator Methew .. as per him I had ~$3100 out of pocket which I will have to pay. I contacted my insurance, they again told me that I will have no out of pocket expense provided facility and doctor bill it correctly. I reached out to explain, but Methew wont listen or look into what needed to be done to get this right.. his explanation was insurance will only pay $500 and I have to pay rest from pocket.so to avoid any headaches I end up canceling procedure. Looks like their systems are not ready or they dont have staff to take care it right. I doubt i will return to this facility even though it is nice facility and stone throw away from my home. I did schedule it at another facility but would be delayed by nearly 1 month due to this goofup.
