I found Katherine Johnson when I posted in a FB group for Moms because I knew I needed Help but had NO idea where to start. As women age we experience so many changes and Katherine is the Nancy Drew of getting to the root cause! She’s so passionate about helping others and it shows! I’m so grateful for her and her team! Facility is not so much welcoming, appointment was not accepted because i was 8 minutes late. I was hoping at least they would give me a warning about it. There was no one waiting as well. It felt like it was done to make a point. Most of the times I wait at provider facility and even though it is 15 - 30 min late i dont complain. I didnt want to go into the reasons why i was late because it would seem pointless when they made up their mind. Will be looking for a different provider.

Katherine is thorough, compassionate and the most competent provider I have ever worked with. She takes great care of her patients.

First time visit a few weeks ago to establish a primary physician. Katherine and her staff were wonderful, they genuinely care about their patients. Will certainly be returning for future needs and recommending to others!

Needed a primary care physician and so I took a chance based on the reviews. This was the best experience I have ever had going to the Dr, everyone was patient (haha get it sorry) and polite. I was seen within minutes! Without hesitation I decided to make this office my go to. Doctor Johnson was great and made the experience easy and comfortable. Don’t wait make an appointment and make them your go to primary care office!

Dr. Katherine is the BEST! I went 3-4 weeks ago to establish new doctor/ patient relationship and she sat and spoke with me for 45 mins. Listening to all of my concerns and asking questions of me. She is very personable its like your speaking to your long life friend at 1st meet. On my 2nd follow up visit I let her know what she had done for me which was improve my quality of life in the changes she made. She is Wonderful!The ladies at the front were super nice as well along with the nurse..all very nice ladles!Alisa h.

If you are looking for wonderful practitioners that look at your body holistically please see Katherine and Anne. Though they focus on two different areas of care they have both been a breath of fresh air when it comes to listening to health concerns and coming up with a plan thats feasibly sustainable. I have not had to wait more than a couple minutes to be seen. Every appointment I have had my concerns have been heard and appropriate action has been taken. I am grateful to have found a PCP who genuinely cares about my health and wellness from all angles. Katherine, thank you for seeing me and taking care of me as me and not as another checklist. I have had several wonderful experiences with Johnson Family Medical. The staff is very warm, caring, and well trained. Katherine is extremely knowledgeable and has provided thought out solutions that has fit my needs every time I see her. I would recommend Johnson Family Medical to anyone.

I scheduled an appointment with Katherine Johnson because I read great reviews about her, but unfortunately I was not able to get past her rude, condescending receptionist, Alma.When I arrived at the office for my appointment, I confirmed that I would be seen for a physical (which is what I specifically made an appointment for). Alma informed me this appointment was just to establish care, and there would be no physical. I asked her would there be an amount due at the end of the appointment, and if so, how much. She said she couldnt tell me, it just depends on what the doctor decided to do and how she decides to code it, but it starts at $150 and could go up.I was taken aback and started asking questions because this was my first time hearing of anything like this. From my experience as a patient, the physical has always been the step to establish primary care.The conversation immediately escalated and Alma told me I wasnt a good fit for their office. I explained to her that I wasnt trying to be difficult, but I waited weeks for this appointment and there were specific prescriptions I needed. And to be told I would have to pay hundreds of dollars to walk away empty handed was very frustrating. She went on to vaguely explain what a deductible was (I guess she assumed the poor black woman doesnt understand how insurance works) and how much I needed to pay to meet it (which she was wrong about), and that it wasnt her fault that I hadnt met my deductible. She also said she honestly doesnt see how I expected to come see a doctor and not have to pay (mind you I thought I was there for a physical which is covered 100% by insurance regardless of deductible being met).Needless to say, after rescheduling the appointment and me asking more questions, we exchanged some choice words, which again ended in her refusing to allow me to see the doctor. And at that point, I didnt want to. Its unfortunate when people enter the medical field but dont have the temperament for it. Im sure Katherine Johnson is a lovely person and is great at what she does, but medical receptionists are the first impression for an office, and unfortunately a very bad one was made today.

Katherine has been nothing but incredible and a breath of fresh air. Just when you start to think that medical professionals dont listen and write you off, Katherine takes time to work with you thoroughly and diligently. She will find alternative solutions for you if youre not prone to taking a prescription and follows up to make sure that its working. Im excited to continue seeing her for future appointments.

Katherine is kind and very attentive to my needs. She listens to what is going on and makes a plan. Very sweet and receptive. One of the few people that listen instead of dismissing your issues.

Please do yourself the same favor I did myself and go see Katherine. Im 40 and never go to Dr lost 60 lbs and was scared. She walked me through the process turned out to be an ulcer but was so comforting and thorough. I never go to Dr but I WILL definitely be going back to see this one.

Very thorough review of my medical history . Testing was detailed but not over the top. Discovered an issue that had not been diagnosed before. Altered my medication plan to fit me. Warm caring atmosphere. Highly recommend this practice

I have heard great things about Katherine and was looking forward to meeting her. This is not a representation of her , because I never met her; but of the incredibly disheartening experience with her front office / receptionist Alma. When I scheduled the appointment I asked if there was paperwork to do ahead of time and she said it was fine to do it when I showed up. I thought my appointment was 11:30. I showed up 8 minutes late, apologizing but happily saying hello. I was met with the rudest welcome, telling me I was too late and would not be able to have my visit. She said my appt was 10 minutes earlier. While I take full responsibility for being late, I was floored by the most unkind behavior I’ve ever experienced as a new potential patient at a dr’s office. I left in tears. Even if I was 20 minutes late, there is a much nicer way to tell a brand new patient “I’m sorry we have a strict policy here but would love to reschedule”. I told myself I overreacted and I called back asking if there any other openings and she said I could come at 2; and to try to arrive 15 minutes earlier for paperwork . I re-arranged my work day, and called when I left because I was going to only be 5 minutes early due to an accident in my neighborhood and traffic being blocked off. I didn’t want to be turned away again; so I called. She was rude then too, but I told her I would be there in 10 minutes. My appointment was at 2. Not 1:45. Period. I arrived early. I did my paperwork in about 7 minutes. I proceeded to wait for an HOUR and never met with Katherine. I finally left as I had my child’s 5th birthday I was about to miss. The entire time I sat in the tiny, awkward waiting area, there was not a second of a friendly demeanor. I literally felt my heart race while I was there with her. While I apologized for being 8 minutes late (I was told 11:30) the first time and came all the way back , not one word of explanation or apology was issued to ME after waiting for an hour. The intention was clear, and rude. My time is not as valuable as theirs. I finally asked if she knew when I would see Katherine. The response... “I don’t”. I said “excuse me?” And she angrily repeated “NO, I DON’T”. Customer service and kindness is everything. I was obviously there for a reason and I can’t imagine how many people have felt the way I felt today- as I see the review below mine and totally agree that the longer I sat there, the more I didn’t even want to meet Katherine or ever have to come into that office again. I can’t believe the experience I had there today and while I’m sure she is an amazing family practitioner, I was so thrown off by this that I couldn’t focus on even speaking to the nurse who finally took my vitals (but also didn’t say a word to me) What on earth...??! There are other amazing dr’s out there that will Not guarantee a horribly awkward experience and I’m sad I wasted my day trying to fit myself in. I also witnessed someone walking in trying to ask a simple question and the way she treated that individual was also embarrassing.

Absolutely encourage everyone to check out Johnson Family Medical! You will get a fabulous practitioner who cares about you and will address health from a well-rounded perspective. You wont be just another number here, and will get the best care because you will be in the best hands!

My experience has been Exceptional!!! Listen, if you seriously need a PCP that actually cares, listens and offer the best solutions, then JFM is where you belong. Katherine blew me awayyyy, just by the fact that she actually CARES about her patients on another level. Her staffs are phenomenal, so warm and so kind. I recommend her to everyone I meet! Extremely happy to have her in my life now.

Johnson Family Medical is simply the BEST! Katherine and her staff are great. Not only is Katherine a great PCP, she single handedly helped me lose 36lbs in roughly 3 months. No gimmicks, no fad diet, no costly meals, just good sound advice that was easy to follow. She monitored my progress the whole time, kept me informed on my progress and lastly, made me 100% healthier. No kidding! by losing the weight, I cut my bad cholesterol in more than half, and lowered my high blood pressure to a point that I may be off the BP meds soon. Do yourself a favor, go see this lady......
