We were referred by a family friend to Dr. Xu and had great experience with our service. She was very detail oriented and knowledgeable. I had dryness problem with my previous contacts. She was able to fit me the most comfortable lens with perfect vision. She also helped my children with their glasses prescription update and picked out perfect glasses for them. I am very happy with our experience and will definitely return!

Horrible experience, made appointment for same day. Doctor was very unprofessional- told me it was my fault I could not see as I used my contacts too long (they are monthly which I changed monthly).After exam, which I was not informed would cost 175 with insurance, I still could not see and was not comfortable driving. I was told the prescription was correct and after some back and forth she did do another test. I said I still could not see and was told would just up prescription by .25. Left in dailies I said I did not want in a prescription I could not see out of. Very pushy and to get out of office agreed to buy contacts, which after seeing other reviews luckily got a refund on. Now having to pay out of pocket for an other eye and contact exam.

It was my first experience with contacts and Dr. Xu, and I’d say I was pretty satisfied. As soon as I called for an appointment, she made time for me as soon as possible and was very courteous with me. She guided me very well throughout the process and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Wendy does a great job. Before coming to Bright Vision, my wife was so unhappy with wearing contacts. Now they are comfortable and stay in. She can see better and couldn’t be happier. She corrected an issue I had with my prescription. Now, I am wearing Glasses that I love. I also took both of my girls there, to get prescriptions. Thank You so much for helping my family.

It was my first visit and I loved the experience. Dr. Xu is very friendly and professional. She was able to get me the most comfortable prescription for both glasses and contacts and all were offered at very reasonable prices. Great experience and highly recommended!

My family have been going to Dr. Xu for years for eye exams and eye care purchases. She is always nice, courteous , and very knowledgeable. Our experiences with her practice are never disappointing.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE when I barely get first impression the place look so dusty , I was looking for glasses for my little kid obviously we have to try some frames to see what shape will look betterI take 1 frame and she said if you are not going to make your decision today then we dont want to lost our time WOW HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!

Been going for years & will continue to do so. Very helpful in getting my contacts even when my insurance changes, she does all she can to apply discounts. Also got glasses there a few years ago as recommended by Dr Xu to ease eye stress at night which I still use - thank you !!

Bright Vision Family Eyecare, is not only a great place to get your eyes checked. It is also a very welcoming place as well. I have been going to this eye doctor for about 8 years. (Been going here since the 7th grade) Each and every time its been top notch, customer service, advice for eye care and a good place to pickout lenses. I have never been disatisfied with any pair of glasses I have gotten from here. From the frames, the perscriptions have all been spot on. I have never had any problems with my lenses/glasses as each one has been better than the last. By that I mean my eyesight has gotten better slowly and progressively over time. If there is any place I would recommend it would definitely be here, the doctor does an amazing job at what she does. Do not skip over or overlook this place if you need glasses. I highly recommend this place tho.

She was very comprehensive with her eye exam and took her time to answer all the question we had. Also very flexible with the scheduling.

Great experience. Dr. Xu was very knowledgeable and personable during the examination. I had several questions and concerns after the exam and she took the time to throughly explain the results. She never rushed or pressured me to make a decision on a pair of glasses...even though I tried on at least 20 pairs and sent several pictures to my wife.I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

Horrible place. Don’t go dr xu literally overcharged me and told me I had to pay for different eyecontacts and I said I didn’t want that brand she refused after I left she told me that she got 1 star review can you please give me more star she said” I left and said I see why they give you 1 star .

I found Dr Xus office from vsp website. I had lasik 13 years ago and my vision seemed to deteriorate recently. I was concerned and decided to see an eye doctor.It took her more than one hour to get the prescription done. It was a frustrating process as I couldn’t tell the difference of different lenses or no lenses at all. And she asked me during the process unhappily why I came to see the doctor as I could see the characters on eye charts. I was stunned. Should the doctor be happy if the patient is Ok? Anyway, she told me the final prescription is -0.25 left and -0.50 right. I felt relieved knowing my eyes are good. I don’t think I need a pair of glasses. Then she started to give me some options of contacts and frames. I wouldn’t say I was force to buy them, but I was definitely misled to buy the contacts I don’t need at all. It was my first time to see an eye doctor in US, I put all my trust on her. She was good at sales as other reviews mentioned. And those contacts are overpriced: 90 days contacts cost me 225 out of pocket and 130 allowance cover by vsp. I left her office at 7pm.Back home, I called my one of friend who told me the common practice is the doctor gives the patient some pairs to try on and let him make a decision after one week. My friend also told me the contacts are way overpriced. Besides, because contacts don’t have 25 breakdown, I got 0.00 for left eye and 0.50 for right eye, which is not necessary at all. Doctor could sell overpriced contacts to someone who doesn’t need them!I called her the first thing next morning, saying I’d like to cancel the order. She refused it, saying her policy is no refund which she didn’t mention during my visit. In fact, she didnt give me a clear explanation of cost/copay/benefits during my visit either. I asked her why its so expensive, then she told me the insurance didnt cover so much and she also charged me 60 dollars for something like contacts instruction. She didnt told me in advance, because it cost more without insurance and she believed its my benefit. Yes, a benefit of being charged 60 dollars.She also said because she spent so much time on me, I was not decent and responsible asking for return. Come on, you spend time on me doesn’t mean you can pressure me to buy something I don’t need. You got paid for the exam. Another Google review also mentioned the doctor refused to give him his prescription unless he buys glasses/contacts from her. Seems like her common practice to force patient to buy.

Saw Dr. Wendy Xu today. Have been seeing her, I want to say like 7 years, my whole family sees her. She is always the nicest, most accomodating, giving person. She has a great selection of glasses, and if she doesnt have it, she is more than happy to get it for you. My husband likes her selection of Tag glasses and she always has plenty to choose from. My 7 YO has been seeing her since she was 5 and is so patient with her. My 14 yo daughter got Contacts last year and was so patient with her while she learned to put them in, and let me tell you, that was a chore.Thank you Dr. Wendy for everything you always do for our family and for always taking such good care of our family!

Had an eye exam with Dr.Xu, after the exam I told her I use 1800contacts and she refused to give me the prescription unless I bought contacts/glasses from her. Then she wouldnt give me a refund! Horrible Dr, crooked as can be! Please find an eye doctor some where else and dont get scammed like me!

I will never go back to this place again. Totally dissatisfied.
