Glenn and his assistant have provided service at our home on three occasions, and the communication, service and professionalism has been consistently excellent. On one occasion when I needed help locating and installing a part for the bathroom fan in our 30 year old home, Glenn was able to locate the part, order it, and schedule the installation in minutes, compared to the weeks I’d waited for another electrician.

Glenn & Carlos installed a level-2 vehicle charger for me and were terrific. Glenn is an owner of the company and it is always nice to have someone who really cares about the business and the customers who does the work. Carlos was very kind and easy to work with as well.They performed the work as expected and also alerted me to a problem they found with an existing wire in our wall, which had been damaged by a lower-quality electrician who had done work for us as a subcontractor to a larger project. Glenn installed three LED light fixtures under my kitchen cabinets. He made excellent recommendations about pavement of the fixtures, and installed them very neatly. Professional & Fairly PricedHad an AC breaker go out and after researching on youtube, I decided to have a professional handle the replacement to be safe. I used Benchmark Electrical Services for simple electrical work such as adding additional outlets to major work installing a new 240V-50A circuit for an induction top. Scheduling an appointment was a breeze and the installation techs (one of which was the owner) were punctual and professional even wearing shoe covers when inside the house. I called to schedule an appointment on a Monday morning to see if someone could check out an electrical outlet that had smoke coming it out of it in our bathroom (!!!!). It was the day after Christmas. We decided to google a local electrician. We were just hoping to get an Appt for a day out or so. I was given an option for same day so we took it. They showed on time and quoted a fair price for some outlets being replaced on the inside and oitside as well as a quote for running a whole new outlet in our hallway. They were abke to do the work immediately as well as within an hour. Taylor was great and he had a team member with him. Not sure if it was a person who was training or not but they seemed to be very helpful as well. Would recommend Taylor and his crew.

This is how a business should work. These folks did everything right for me.I was having a problem with a GFCI circuit, and I called Benchmark for help. I placed the call after 5pm on a Monday. They answered immediately and listened to my concerns. The lady I spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable. She scheduled a service call for 11am-1pm on next day, and promised to call to confirm when they were on the way.Around 10:30, I got a call saying the tech was on the way. I also got an email from Benchmark with the techs name, his picture and a picture of the truck he would arrive in. The email also confirmed my address and provided a contact number in case I had questions.Taylor was the tech, and he arrived promptly at 11:00. Taylor was friendly, smart and engaged. He listened to my description of the problem and offered a number of possible solutions, recommending the most conservative and least expensive (replace the breaker). He said if that didnt fix it, theyd credit the cost of the new breaker to a more comprehensive diagnostic. All options were available at a fixed price, quoted up front, and easy to see in the price book the techs carry.He replaced a breaker for me and the problem has not recurred since.These folks provided great service for me. I recommend them without reservation, and Ill be using them for any future electrical needs.

I was finishing my holiday decoration display when the worst happened, I overloaded the circuit and everything went dark. I spent the next 15 minutes going through every breaker in my box and walking around my house trying to figure out what else didnt work to isolate the problem with no success. I called Benchmark to schedule an electrician to help me out and it was the completeness of the intake questions that actually led me to the solution. While I didnt need anyone to come to my house (because they let me to the solution while scheduling the appointment) I wouldnt think twice about calling them in the future. They had no problem canceling my appointment, in fact they were glad that I was able to find the solution. That right there is the mark of a good company, one who truly cares about their customers and isnt just looking to make a quick buck.
