I have had a great experience using the app and other products. The ease in finding in-network providers via the app makes it an A+ for me. I enjoy having something that I can pull up on my phone with ease without having to wait on hold for long periods of time. I also like the fact that I have quick access to my benefit plan whenever and wherever I am.

As an employee I have medical , vision and dental through healthcomp. They have a large numbers of providers in all expertise. I love that they have apps to help me keep up with payment and my deductible to date. They make payments to providers in a timely manner. I would like my FSA on a card but the payment turn around is fast and efficient.

This is literally the WORST possible place for an employer to choose to host their benefits through. Trying to get your claims paid is like trying to perform heart surgery on yourself. These idiots actually have advised me on multiple occasions to have my doctors office commit insurance fraud in order for them to pay for my office visits, when the office visit should be covered to begin with. What ethical insurance company advises their clients to engage in insurance fraud? Im sorry to anyone who endure this place, because Lord knows youre in for the worst time of your life should you actually have use your insurance.

We send in a $3100.00 check for Cobra (which covers the entire family). The only list my wife as eligible. They leave the rest of the family off. Its like they dont realize how much time and effort we are going to have to put in to go back a fix any medical bills with the providers so that insurance company pays. They see it as a slight error; to the rest of us, it could cost us hours to get our benefits paid out. Infuriating.

Systems are archaic. With todays technology the FSA $ should be pre-loaded on a card (many other FSA Administrators have been loading credit cards for a decade now). Would save a ton of time & hassle not to have to pay the expense, then submit a claim for reimbursement. With processing/mail time its weeks before you are reimbursed.

My service agent went completely above and beyond good customer service. She really cared and listened with patience to be talk. She then offered to make a call to the facility where I was supposed to have my screening to explain my insurance benefits to them. She straightened out the issue and called me back to let me know. I have never had anyone go so far to solve a problem. It was refreshing.

This company is a breeding ground for incompetence, and they fail to perform even the most basic functions in a timely manner. I had no choice in using Healthcomp as they are the 3rd party administrator for my Cobra benefits from a previous job. On one claim I had to submit the same documents 4 times before they were attached to correct claim, and it took over 1 year to receive a reimbursement for that claim.

They will try to make you pay for everything, even when its supposed to be covered. They tried to charge us for a flu shot for my pregnant wife when our preventative care should be free... So after like 20 phone calls and a couple weeks they changed it to free. So annoying that I had to call multiple times to explain it to them... Seriously the worst insurance Ive ever had to deal with. Cant avoid it because my employer uses them, but if you can avoid them, do so.

This is the worst organization I have ever had to deal with. Incompetent is a compliment. First, for a health care management to not accept automatic payments is ridiculous- they only accept a monthly check payment, then don’t cash the check for weeks. Second, they are alway rude when you call them. There first reaction to your benefits is to put them on hold rather than contact you to find out what’s going on - which most of the time is their fault. They don’t send out letters or emails to let you know about rate increases then freeze your account when you send in the wrong amount. You don’t receive a monthly statement that would show if the amount owed has changed. Just a terrible company to be forced to deal with.

I never like to complain but this company deserves all the negative reviews. I have been dealing with them since beginning of this year due to my sons ongoing speech therapy bills. My speech therapist is out of network so we pay her directly and I submit a reimbursement form online to get reimbursed by healthcomp. I probably had to resubmit many forms online because for some unknown reason, they never get the ones I submit. And usually they tell you to wait 30 days to check on a claim only to find out that they do not have it on the system. Very very annoying! Plus the fact that you have to call and explain your situation over and over again to different representatives. What a waste of time and effort! But I am stuck with it because it is what my husbands insurance company uses as third party but I will complain and escalate it to their HR so they can change or get rid of them. The representatives you get when you call are either a hit or a miss! Sometimes they dig deeper and try to be helpful as much as possible or you get someone like the person I got today who is incompetent and was just willing to transfer me over to the supervisor. She didnt even take the time to see what was going on, why the check was sent to my provider instead to us. And to show you how incompetent they are, I asked for the survey that they normally send you at the end of the call and she said she will send me one which she did. But when I click on it, it says you have already taken this survey. What a joke! Even their feedback system is incompetent!

Im not happy with this insurance at all. I had some crowns put in the upper front teeth. The dentist did not set them correctly. Shortly after I lost my job now I dont have this insurance anymore. I called them to complain. That the dentist denied any wrong. The insurance company said they paid the dentist office, and there was nothing they could do because I am not covered by them. Im upset I paid$7.80 cash. They said talk to the dentist office. The dentist office manager said they are all well trained. They didnt do anything incorrect. This got me upset because she knew there was nothing I could do. As I tried to explain the problem I am having. She insulted​ me by saying if I knew how to articulate better she would be able to understand what I was saying. Now Im really upset, and lost my cool then cust at her. Now she said if I didnt leave right now she would call the cops. This is not wright because I feel like she was belittling me to try my temperament, hoping I would blow it. The biggest concern I have is this worth less insurance company said they paid them,and if I didnt like the outcome of the work they paid the dentist. I needed to tack it up with them. They paid them thats it. So Im out of 7.80 dollars and health Comp. dont care.

I would give a 00 if I can. This insurance sucks and will try to denied all the claim as much as possible. Don’t have a choice because this is the insurance the work place chose. They’re trying to denied my son $19,000 medical bill after sending us a injury questionnaire form twice stating they have never received the first one. And now they’re pushing to claim on us. Will see where this go

As a primary provider they have performed as expected. As a secondary provider they are horrible. I am primary but my husband as Medicare. Every single claim is a hassle. They send letters requesting EOB with 45 day time limit when they know full well it takes Medicare months to process claims information. Very stressful! Additionally, they do not pay for services not covered by Medicare even if they would pay for service as a primary insurance.

Have dealt with them on several occasions. Both times it seems they are a very poorly run company. I had to submit an accident form twice because they never seem to have gotten the first one. And after the second one I had to call and have the representative dig through the system to find it and unblock my claim. Similarly, their online medical claims system seems to lose medical claims. It has been over 30 days since I submitted my claim. The website continues to say Pending, yet suddenly the claim cannot be found in the system. This is after calling previously, having the claim show up, being told to wait 30 days, and waiting those 30 days still with no result..

Incompetent. I was sent a letter saying I hadnt filled out my enrollment forms and all my claims were going to be denied. When I called they said it was sent in error and to disregard it. The next day, my work sent an e-mail saying they had sent that letter to dozens of people, and they were all wrong. But wait theres more! Two weeks later I received a call that they were missing a form, and that they had sent me a certified letter. A certified letter I never received and needed to be returned by the next day or else I would not receive full benefits. This is all on top of a ridiculous amount they charge for insurance that isnt even that good. Avoid if you can, Im stuck because its who my employer has chosen.

Ambulance chasing company that bills their clients to invade their unsuspecting employees medical records! They violate HIPAA laws by luring sick employees into their bloodthirsty trap then give away their private medical information to the employers who can then start malicious efforts to fire these people! They get sick and need medical attention and HealthComp tricks them into case management then cost them their health insurance! Corrupt, corrupt, corrupt! Sick, sick, sick! Evil, evil evil!

Their webpage is wrong when youre trying to look up a doctor. Ultimately, its Cignas webpage that is wrong. It shows a doctor being at a certain location, but if you go to that hospitals website, he/she is not at that location. For instance, a search showed that Dr. Joe is affiliated with EvergreenHealth. So they just show the closest EvergreenHealth location to me. One problem, Dr. Joe doesnt practice at the one closest to me.Additionally, the lady in customer service wouldnt let me finish talking & voicing my concern. I hate that about customer service.
