I like going to GB3 Sunnyside for my workout. It is a large building. I chose GB3 for the pools.The pool at Sunnyside is clean and usually has empty lanes.In the gym they keep the temperature comfortable and the air in there seems fresh with a HUGE ceiling fan to keep it moving. With colds and flu plus COVID19, fresh air is good.The staff is friendly, and I watch them work hard to keep the place picked up, clean, and organized - they deserve 5 stars for professionalism.Considering the high volume of guests, they do a good job keeping it clean. The only problem I have with it is the cleanliness of the sauna, steam room and hot tub and men’s locker room. They could work on that a bit. However, cleanliness in those spaces is mostly a factor of customer behavior - people can be pigs no matter where we work out.I recommend GB3 at all locations, but Sunnyside is where I frequent. Its a decent gym with an affordable monthly fee. Some of the weight machines are a little old, and they dont have a great space for stretching/dancing/classes, but for what you pay its pretty good. It also has child care if you need that.

It sad to see this but I been going to this gym for 2 years already. It sad that old manager has died and came to shame to see new employee that doesn’t know what their doing new employee have low quality customer service. Front desk people are fine but some cleaners actually one is mexican fellow have such rude approach. It time for me switch gym. To them shouldn’t matter because they have plenty people. They don’t care read this.

This location is clean no matter what time of day! My main man Tony and the rest of the staff at this location all go above and beyond to ensure this!The equipment isn’t brand new but I guarantee it will always be clean!Give Tony a raise!

I moved here a year ago from the east coast and its tough finding a place that opens late. So early in the morning to about late afternoon is the sweet spot here. Yes its dark. Yes its a little cramp. Thats ok since no one else is remotely close to you. It has everything you need with a little extra. Pretty sure a lot of the clientele have moved over to the Herndon spot which is great because it opens up this little gem. Ive gone at night and found the 6pm+ gets pretty busy. But not busy enough where you cant complete your workout. I prefer this location over the others.

Its way too small for the amount of people that go here. They dont have nearly enough benches. They need to expand it to the size of the one on Herndon.

Always has had great staff here. Plus the sales rep gave me an amazing deal! Just wish they closed later.

Did an ok job took a long time to do my car plus i paid for the 38.00 package and alot of spots were missed i had to redo alot of the work that was done myself when i got home!!!

Worst front desk service ever! I am paying for 3, 3 years plans but the lady at the front desk asked us to leave last time I tried to come in. This is so unprofessional I believe that she should fired!!!😡😡😡

Friendlier employees than the Clovis location; front desk staff actually acknowledge members when they walk in and out of the building instead of just talking to coworkers.

Some of the padding on the equipment is worn out. Other than that, good gym. Love that their pool area is handicap accessible.

Front desk people arent greeting when you enter or leave, looks like they really just working a 9-5, seemed very dim inside the gym so needs brighter lights. Other than that workout equipment is find, theyre following protocol for coronavirus. Id recommend them to use theyre other location off fowler and Herndon as an example of how the gym should look.

I mean besides no one knowing how to rerack weights, all the people who sit around on their phone when you want to use the bench they’re on, besides the small weight room with a hundred people standing around in, I guess if you have no where else to lift you can try this place.

GB3 sunnyside does not respect class sessions at all- that means the members that pay for the gym and the instructor that invest their time in class!!!!! Class sessions should be only for the instructor and the students or people that wants to do the activities inside that class not for any randoms to come and do whatever they please. An instructor is being paid to hold the hold the class and people invest their time and money to have a joyful workout and good experience. GB3 policy isn’t respectable at all for members and the instructor and thy needs to change please!!! Class sessions should only be for instructor and the members that please to do the class workouts!!!!

Wish they had more trainers.Most employees are sitting behind the counter. Not sure if they move much?Very friendly, equipment always in good shape.

Everything is organized and cleaned up constantly. The equipment is in good shape and the atmosphere is nice and mellow...Perfect place to workout and unwind and leave home feeling great....👍👍👍👍👍

Gym is really good, but quite crowded. Thats really the only issue I see with it, and there isnt much they can do to fix that. Quite a few classes to take if youre into that, lots of free weights and machines. All the machines are organized by body part and labeled so theyre easy to find. They have a pool, a steam room, and a dry sauna as well. Locker rooms here also have televisions with ESPN and stuff like that on at all times.

Average space with multiple benches and squat racks so there is never a long wait to use them

Every time I go in, the staff is busy on their phones at the front desk, or if something is needed let’s say paper towels in the restroom, the staff doesn’t pay attention, or if asked you get attitude like if it’s. Hassle. One staff member in particular was a guy with two different colored hair, he told me I don’t do that look for the janitor. Absolutely rude and inconsiderate.

Need more space. Way too small! Good child care service.

Being the smallest of the GB clubs in the Fresno area it has its drawbacks, limited parking, not 24 hours and smallish. That being said, its clean, the staff is friendly (for Fresno) and they usually have plenty of equipment available for use. There is a pool, sauna and most of the things you would expect in a fitness club including a variety of classes. 5am and around 6pm are my favorite times to go here, Mondays and Tuesdays seem to be the peak days. All in all not bad.

Literally the WORST GB3 in all of Fresno County. Equipment is outdated and quite often out of order. The hot tub literally has a film of dirt over the top almost every time I come here. For this gym that essentially services the greater East Fresno and Sanger area you would think it would be better upkept. It is too small for how many people use it. Literally pisses me off that people on this side of town pay as much as all the other nice and well kept gyms. Do better period.

First time at the GB3 gym. Was welcome by smiling faces and referred to Janet. Janet was professional and proficient. In, signed up and working out in minutes! The gym could be maintained more and detailed.

I prefer this location just based on the fact that I find less group gatherings here. Some other locations I find groups of members just standing around in the way of use of machines as if its a Starbucks. I dont mind paying a little extra for all that GB3 offers. Other Gyms like Fitness Evolution and Blast, I find lack of cleanliness, organization, and even lack of weights. I hate having to search the gym for plates.

Terrible customer service. Anytime fitness is a much better option. Much cleaner gyms too.

Crowded and full of dude- bro types who can be rude or abuse equipment. Most people mind their own business. Indoor pool, two saunas, and yoga fitness room. The main room is a jumbled mess, but functional. Locker rooms provided.

This is the most disgusting gym Ive ever been to. Anybody who rates this gym more than 1 star has obviously never been anywhere else (including all other GB3 locations). The staff doesnt encourage gym etiquette or try and educate new members that are new to working out. All of the equipment is constantly covered in sweat. The air is not breathable here because of the constant warm humid stink that constantly lingers. There is a horrific smell that somehow sticks to my clothes and continues to permeate from my laundry basket days after I visit this place. Whatever you do, dont wear goggles in the pool. You will be so grossed out by what you see! Other GB3 locations offer towel rental and enforce common courtesies like racking your weights, using your towel to wipe your pools of sweat off the equipment when youre done, wearing legitimate swimsuit attire in the pool, not dangeriusly slamming 100lb. barbells down next to peoples feet. Why dont they enforce those common-sense practices at this location? There is a super clean Planet Fitness a couple miles west on KC at half the price. Try that instead.

I was not a fan of the pool. There are only two useable lanes due to steps and gutters in the outer ones. The lane lines sit low in the water and can be loose, luckily one can hand tighten them. The timer on the wall is small, but I guess people use fitness watches now. The black lane markers that should line the bottom of the pool are actually just diamonds and are not in the center of the lane. Bring sandals/flip flops or you will feel disgusted walking barefoot from the pool to the locker room. Where are the flags so I don’t crash into the wall doing backstroke!? The saunas are the popular place to be, so be prepared to have people walking in and out while you swim and they will sit on the benches along the pool watching. People told me this location was less busy and that may be true for the overall numbers of people there but because it’s smaller it still feels busy. Still busy parking lot.

Im done with this place! Employees here are rude! To tell me I cant take picture of my own kids and then when I asked to see where was that regulation posted at they couldnt point me out to it .. I know spanish okay I understand when someone says si kiere meaning I could take my business elsewhere.. so I did Im never coming back.

Crowded. Crowded. Crowded. Variety of machines are good but crowded. Girls take over machines 30+ minutes for butt workouts as usual. And also crowded. I also wish they had some free area of weight and crossfit stuff.

Management needs improvement. My mother got mugged in the parking lot at 3pm. She reported to GB3 & was told they called the police. She waited for the police then saw the guys that stole from her, exercising. She asked for a translator and was told there was none (a lie, I was told there was one). I made a follow-up police call and discovered a call was never made. I spoke with manager Yolanda -- very disrespectful, ill-manner, and crude. She motioned her finger around her ear and inferred my mother was confused and crazy. She cut me off several times; she asked me questions and answered it herself. When Justin (the supervisor during the incident) came in and spoke to us, Yolanda caught him up that a police call was never made so he blamed the cleaning lady (who spoke broken English) that he told her to call. What manager makes the cleaning lady, especially one who spoke broken English do a police report?! Mangers were unprofessional and rude! No member should have experienced not just a robbery but also the horrible mistreatment my mother had gone through. I recommend not going to this GB3 or be careful especially for who are older or doesnt speak English.

This place would get 0 stars if I could. My gosh... It has gone down hill so bad since Doug left. I purposely go OUT OF MY WAY not to go here, but sometimes I have to. The equipment is a joke. Panels of glass missing. Drywall chipped and broken. Crown molding broke off. The floor lifts up on its own and the workers put down cones instead of fixing it. The water faucets are disgusting. You think thats bad? The front desk is far worse. The front desk is always on their phone and not attentive to their clients. I could be standing there for two minutes until they acknowledge me to check me in. Such a freaking joke. Oh. AND IT STINKS. How about you santize the sauna? Gross.

Clean, friendly, and convenient. I enjoy the classes, but there is one Zumba instructor that will not allow the fans to be turned on. Dont know the problem she has with them, but when you are dripping sweat, seems like the logical thing to do.

Was first time visiting, people were nice and helpful, didnt know i should have brough a lock for locker, my 2yr old didnt want to leave she was having fun!

Nice facility. A bit of a younger crowd. Not shabby overall. It could use a good scrub, but its not terrible.

I really enjoy this location as its not as busy as the other locations. You still get the same amenities but less people at this location.

Filthy, cluttered, outdated and disorganized. There is no cleaning or proper maintenance on their Equipment. No hot water till further notice. Locker room is disgusting. I mean it could be worse dont get me wrong but you wouldnt pay $50 a month to go to those gyms.

To be honest, this place is getting worse. Compared to the other Gb3 in Fresno, this one is NOT improving at all. The shower rooms are nasty. Most people that went here dont really care about cleaning up after their messes. The men bathroom hella smell. The sauna room definitely need to be remodel; the wood benches are rotten from sweats. Most of the machines here seem wore out. I assumed that this Gb3 seem to be the least favorite one out of the others in Fresno. Most people that usually goes here really need to learn on how to take care of this place.

The pool is kept warm, which I didnt really like, but other than that Gb3 runs a great facility.

This gym is a good size and is never as busy as there one on Herndon. Only downside is most of the machines are older.

A lot of the machines need maintenance and the staff sure have changed attitudes. I used to feel comfortable going there but now I have a difference in opinion about the gym.

Awesome Gym friendly staff, but if Im paying the same as the others this one needs the same NEW EQUIPMENT. Not all the older and broken ones compared to other locations, and treadmills dont even have where you can charge your phone like the other locations which is inconvenient and I shouldnt have to drive to the otherside of Fresno to enjoy the gym quality that I pay for. Maybe hire a new cleaning staff because restrooms are dusty n dirty n definitely lacks of cleaniness. But please upgrade SUNNYSIDE LOCATION GB3

I like that its close to my home. Unfortunately it always stinks of old sweat and uncirculated air. Very poor air conditioning. The machines are starting to show ALOT of wear. I have gone to the Nees location. Wow huge difference in cleanness and machines are super new and upgrade! Same monthly payment just a different location and demographic. Sad.

This location is better than the Milburn one. You dont have someone telling you to set down weights quietly.

Pretty nice but they need Sauna and Steam Room Rules. People here are not familiar with Saunas so they walk in fully clothed with their shoes on coming straight from the workout room. Of course they dont shower before entering. Thats a big hygiene and health risk and quite frankly just disgusting.

I like this gym because its close to home, its affordable, and equipments are good. It does get real crowded after work hours but around 7 or 8pm, it starts to quiet down.

There is equipment that has been out of service for months with caution tape on it. The mirrors are always dirty. Two of the receptionists are very rude. Weights are never racked properly. Seems like this facility gets old equipment for the other gyms up north. I wish the employees would stop standing around and start cleaning up a bit. One of the ellipticals has a tv that flickers. And couple of the other ones dont even work. The plastic around the cable machines are cracking. Stickers on machines are pilling off. I dont know why this gym is the same price as the other GB3s in town. It should be highly discounted. Maybe the owner should come by and see the shape this gym is in. Im sure he wouldnt be too happy with it.
