Dr. Mahal is great and addresses my concerns appropriately and in a timely fashion, thus the 2 stars. Her office assistants are HORRIBLE AND RUDE! I have to call several times after the doctor prescribed pain meds when Im suffering from excruciating pain just to get the prescription sent over because the one who does that job did not believe me. I have also had to call a total of 6 times (with no result yet) to find out what happened to my referral to a neurosurgeon. Ive been out of work for 2 weeks and pain is horrible and these people do not care! I called 4 times today starting at 1135 am and kept being put on hold and then disconnected...only for my last call to catch them out to lunch at 1155 am. If you guys dont want to do your job or we are bothering you, have enough compassion to quit so someone who cares can be hired!

Dr. Amber Mahal has always been kind and a very detailed in my experience. She pays attention to family history and was supportive and referred me to specialists when I needed them in a timely manner. She listens and is professional and relaxed which I appreciate. She encourages lifestyle change along with prescribing medications which I also am very appreciative of. She is an awesome doctor for all my internal medicine needs.

I just moved here and scheduled my annual physical with Dr. amber mahal. Apparently this office makes you do a consult first, then blood work, then a follow up and none of which include a physical exam. With insurance total cost has been $467 just in office visits and I still haven’t even had an exam from the doctor. Turns out my physical is schedule next available 3 months from now with a total wait time or 6 Months....Save your money. Go somewhere else that doesn’t Treat their patients like thisShe also only gave me a refill on my medication lasting 14 days so now I have to come back in for another “office visit” to get a refill or just fly across the country to my original PCP for cheaper honestlyWaste of time

Horrible. Doctor is useless and loves to talk over you and wont let you explain your situation

Im very disappointed in the level of care Ive received from Dr. Mahal. I think if you are told to come at a certain time the practitioner should at least make an attempt to see you on time. Both office visits resulted in waits of over an hour. If that was the only problem though it wouldnt be a huge deal. But Dr. Amber doesnt return phone calls...she has her assistant call you two to four days later to kind of sort of answer your question. I called her office because I was having cramps and I had just found out I was pregnant. I had already been seen by her but she said she couldnt help me and to go to urgent care..(well she didnt tell me her assistant did). The urgent care she sent me to also said they couldnt help me so I had to wait in the ER for 7 hours to find out I had a bladder infection. I also asked Dr. Amber if she could proscribe a cream that women in my family have used to prevent miscarriage but she said she didnt feel comfortable prescribing it. Its something you can get from a health food store but the pharmacy version is better. So all in all I would advise anyone to avoid this Doctor.

Very kind and professional. A bit of a hassle checking in but that was only because of my insurance.
