Attitude of those in reception is less than welcoming; opticians are professional but some aren’t so good at adjusting frames.Contact lense specialist easily takes an attitude when things don’t go her way. Optical Center manager’s customer service skills are lacking. As is obvious, I have dealt with employees in all areas of the Center. Since I have been wearing glasses/contacts for years and have a good deal of experience working with optical practitioners, in my opinion, Kaiser provides “middle of the road” service.

10/10, I had a great experience looking for new glasses today! Maria helped me find the perfect pair of glasses I was looking for as well as answering all my questions with some insightful tips! Made my day!

My appointment was cancelled last minute when I had to schedule one month out in advance to receive this appointment as they were fully booked. Although, this was inconvenient and unprofessional, the receptionist was very nice and understanding of my frustration and had allowed me to reschedule for the following week instead of waiting another month. They removed the ability to book appointments online which made the process much smoother.

Only one person to check people in and out; waited 15+ min to check in. Was finally called to get glasses; and tech went on about I was late; and refused to adjust my glasses because I didn’t have an apt for that. They make you wait forever in line then wait again to be seen but if we are 5 minutes late they have a problem. Worst customer service.

Went to the Optical Sales Department at Kaiser after my eye exam. I was greeted by a nice gentleman at the first desk by the entrance with a very bright smile, superior acknowledgment, and happy to help attitude. Something I feel like you dont get much of anymore in customer service. I noticed that it was only him in the front area greeting and helping people out. With all that was going on, all his attention was centered upon me. He was very kind, courteous, calm, and professional as this attitude carried on to others after I was helped and taken care of. It really was a breath of fresh air as I didnt have much of a pleasant experience with the Doctor that I was scheduled to see since I felt like the exam was pretty rushed and brushed off.I wasnt planning on making a purchase on glasses, but after given the kind and detailed information about my benefits, I agreed to follow through. I must say it was a pretty seamless process, no long wait, great selection, and easy as can be. After the order was placed and finalized, I was walked over to the gentleman I first started out with to check-out. His name was David after being told he would take my payment. He stopped what he was doing abruptly, gave me his full attention, smiled again like he was the happiest person in the world, and had a great attitude of being helpful. I felt very good about my total experience and thanks to David, it was that much better. Shout outs to him and the kind hearted Tech/staff for making my day and experience better after my not so satisfying eye exam. I felt like I was treated right. Good attitude, helpfulness, and kindness are all things that will make me come back and tell my friends about. Thank you for everything!

Wanted to wait to review until I had my two pair of glasses in hand, which took about two weeks. Staff in both the ophthalmology and the optical services departments were warm and friendly - Veronica in Optical Services went above and beyond the call in customer service. Dr. Jacinto Wong was personable and knew his stuff, prescribing the correct prisms for me. The entire process was seamless - and the prices great! It was a positive experience from beginning to end.

Service here was really good BUT REALLY OVERPRICED. Took my prescription to Costco and got my prescription for practically half the price and all my add ons to my prescription was free of charge whereas Kaiser wanted to charge me $85 for every add on.

They use to be a GREAT place but Dont know what happened... maybe new employees... cant rely on them to call when your glasses are ready or take orders correct on contacts purchase... Kinda sad... use to love this place.

Horrible. Overpriced. No place to sit. No place to park. The contact fittings never have appts available so you have to book very far out and then you have to pay for a new fitting. The service to get glasses is slower than molasses in the winter.
