Absolutely love Dr Akande and his team. Have been going to him for over 12 years. With many crowns, root canals and implants he is the only dentist I will go to. He treats me like family. He is so patient, calm and understanding. Had 2 extractions today and he made my visit painless and quick. He truly is the best. Thank you Dr Akande, Joel and the rest of the team for being amazing 💖

This office inconsiderate to their patients time and well being. I contacted them a bit after I had an examination in which the dentist had done a thorough examination. Requesting a quote for just the root canal procedure.I explained to them I was in severe pain to where it was now causing pain in my ear. The office personnel Cynthia told me I missed an appointment which I explained I didnt schedule as it was for services I could not afford and I explained I was only financially able to get what was necessary done which was my root canal. I called at least 4 times and requesting a quote on just that procedure and have still yet to hear back from them. Ive called the office over a week only to be told they would call me back. I still have not received any communication from them. I also provided the office staff my new number to ensure I would receive the call. Again nothing. I would not recommend their services to anyone. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I have been coming to Dr Akandes office for over 7 years. He has taken care of me and my children for all our dental needs. He is caring and compassionate, and a great dentist. He’s filled my cavities, done my root canals, and my implant. I won’t go anywhere else!

Do you want the best dental office and dentist?. Dr. Sam is very professional with a very kind and gentle heart. I have used the services for over 3 years and anytime I go I get treated so well. I had to take out my tooth which was a nightmare to me but when Dr. Sam did it, I did not know that I had to ask is it out yet?. Did not feel any pain. Dont waste time go to Akande Sam DDS for all your dental issues. You will be glad and so your teeth.

Unprofessional, the lady that cleaned my teeth didn’t put anything on my face to protect my eyes and got toothpaste in my eye, didnt lean my chair back all the way, and the tools were low on power. Super ghetto. Then, they pulled out my little sister’s tooth without her telling them it was okay. The doctor pulled it out with his hand, and didn’t give her anything to numb it or lessen the pain. She was in pain even after we got home. They refused to clean my mom’s teeth because she didn’t want the deep cleaning. Worst dentist I’ve been to.

Dr. Akande is outstanding! I broke a tooth while eating. I needed to talk to a dentist right away. His staff listened to my situation and had an opening within 4 hours on the same day!The doctor diagnosed my problem quickly. He was able to explain the what he needed to do very expertly. I am afraid of dentists and his calm understanding of the issues kept me calm.I had issues on other teeth as well. He explained very effectively the work that needed to be done to fix those teeth and what would happen if i didnt repair them. He did it in such a way that it did not seem like he was looking to gouge me, or scare me. It was professionally well done.Additionally, he had to perform a root canal on my broken molar. I was in no pain the next day! Good job doctor!

My root canal failed within a year, every visit with this dentist left me in tears. He did nothing to help with my pain and anxiety. I had to go elsewhere to fix all the damage he did to my mouth. This was 7 years ago at least and I still remember every horrible detail.

I had a quick rootcanel, the dentist placed a plug in the tooth, and refused to put a metal cap to protect the tooth.Now my tooth is broken and needs to be extracted. I will never necamend this office to and one. They are associated with the office on Tulare and R St.

Dr.Akande is kind as well are his staff. Im not a big fan of going to the dentist, however, I recommend If you need work, this is the dentist to choose. He talks to you and asks what are your concerns.

Today I went to Akanda Sam DDS at 1902 E Ashlan Ave, Fresno, CA 93726 for a root canal and I dont really like how they handle stuff. First off Staff were talking bad about other people when the staff standing over mt, getting ready to work on me.When they were working on my tooth they were really bossy when I was really high to the point of half awake and the knowledge of that I have cp. I dont like somebody bossy me around when I am high as like that and on the top of I can have no power over my body sometimes because my cp. I had a break down in middle of work to the point of i got out of the high just to tell them that stuff with my phone. I dont feel comfortable coming back there.And the fact that they tried to send me to a specialist in LA to finish the job like if Fresno has nothing. I just need a dentist that understand that I have cp.Plus they wanted me sign stuff without telling me about root canal

I had a root canal done with them and maybe a couple months later I started having horrible toothaches on that tooth where they placed the crown (KEEP IN MIND I SHOULDNT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS ESPECIALLY IF THEY JUST DID A ROOT CANAL). The crown feels like its falling off. I also had 2 fillings done as well and my teeth wouldve been better off left alone. I came out in much worse condition then when i went in. I feel that whole office needs to go back to school to further their education on teeth. if it were up to me i wouldnt even give them one star but i had to! My husband had to go in about 10 times for an adjustment on his crowns and he is in pain as well. SUCH A HORRIBLE PLACE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT

I went to this doctor a few months ago I had an abcess ony gums and the lady dentist didnt even give me any meds for it nor did she mention it

So unprofessional.....horrible staff, not sure how the Dentist has and keeps any patients with that kind of front office... people be aware before contacting this so called dental office.

Worst place ever got some fillings done and she put my damn teeth together i couldnt floss and got mad when i went back to get it fixed then i went back to get another filling fixed that they did cause it came off and it was hurting they fixed the wrong filling they act as if you dont know anything thats if your fault they messed up and they told me my fillings are suppose to hurt its been a week but when i went she never told me that she just said she was going to fix it

They charge to much and they work is not greatMe and my sister spent to money and our results suck

They got the solution to my problem...good staff
