After reading all the reviews on here I got worried about taking my son in. But our experience was great. My son had his appointment at 6am & his dad took him he got out around 8am. The wait wasn’t long either as many say on here. The receptionist was great the first time I went in they let me know they’ll check with his insurance & give me a day for his surgery. The anesthesiologist & the dentist were both very helpful. They got down to it & let me know what was going to happened. Answered all my questions & concerns. They didn’t sugar coat what was going to happen. Dad waited in the waiting room once our son was out he was able to see him. Staff & building very kid friendly

I was not comfortable with my child having general anesthesia. I spoke with the receptionist about my concerns, and they were surprisingly accommodating. The actual surgery went smoothly with no issues and I felt my child was treated with dignity. Though it was emotional for me, I am very relieved and satisfied with how everything was handled.

Worst place ever! Please do listen to reviews waits times are very long 2-3 hours if lucky , once you get back yes nurses are nice but the dentist/ doctor is horrible he will contradict you and try to force you to make a decision you don’t want for your child . And they are rude. I was talking to the dentist about the referral that was sent over for my child and what they wanted to be done he simply said i don’t have to do what they want i can do whatever i want literally took everything of me not to say anything . so please look else where .

Do not trust this place !!! They said kids care it’s theirs first priority but it’s a lie. My daughter had a surgery appointment at 11am & it was 1:30pm and they said still 1-2 more hrs waiting. She’s been 15 hrs empty stomach and had to wait 2 more hrs was not okay. They even got old me I should of wake her up at 2am to feed her so she shouldn’t be starving, like REALLY!? I walk out !!! I don’t think they were professional or care for a 6 year old kid . IF SOMEONE HAS A SURGERY APPOINTMENT IT SHOULD BOT MAKE ANYONE WAIT THAT LONG SPECIALLY A KID !!!!

My son had his appointment last week and everything was quick I went in only wait about 5 mins they took me back and I only waited an 1 hour until my son procedure was done felt like I only waited 30-40 mins great place !

All the people were excellent here.The only thing is the wait time. Thats the only thing that sucks. We waited 3 hours before we were seen. So just be prepared to wait a long while.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I went for our appointments. These dentists are obnoxious at best for running a practice this way.First appointment we waited close to an hour for 2 pictures to be taken(about a 2 minute procedure).Second appointment was for the anesthesia procedure. I reiterated over the phone that my daughter is autistic so o eating and drinking was going to hard. We were booked for 11. At 12 oclock Im told the wait would be another hour and a half. When I ask how is that the expected wait time Im told other days is worse, this actually isnt as long of a wait as usual.How do these dentists expect children, special needs children as well, to sit for 3 hours on a fast? This is disgusting and appalling. If a surgery is to occur at 1:30 then book it for 1:30 not 11.Those poor receptionists probably get chewed out every single day on behalf of these poor excuses for dentists. Absolutely sickening.

They got my sons work done all in one day. Staff was nice, and no kids screaming makes for a better experience. Less traumatizing for the kids.

Terrible place!!!!!. My daughter had an appointment at 12pm due to her age. Even if they have openings earlier they won’t schedule her earlier. It’s 3:45pm and we are still waiting, I go ask how much longer and the receptionist said 1:30 hours more because the dentist just started with a patient. Really??? 5 hours or more to be called even with appointment??? This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!! At this point my child is crying because she is starving since they have to fast... we had to re schedule after all that waiting. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!

Other then the long wait and feeling bad that they have to be with no food or water for so long (which is understandable because it’s for their safety) ... Thank God I had a great experience at this place. The doctors, nurses and other staff workers were very professional and caring. I was very nervous and really stressed out before my appointment, but I’m glad I went here. Thank you to all who were there for my son and I.

Although the wait is long, I felt that my child was in good hands. Drs and assistants were helpful, calm and very polite.

We took our 2 year old in at 6:30 am. They called at 6:10 am to check and see if we were still coming. My husband was on his way. They took her back almost immediately. They knocked her out, came out front and updated him each step of the way. He was out in a little under 3 hours. The process of getting her in there was long, by no fault of theirs we just had insurance issues. I’m talking months. I spoke to two girls often, one was Giselle. I always got a call back when they said they would and they were never rude to me. We came out of pocket for porcelain crowns up front (4 of them) and they turned out beautifully. They were up front about the cost the same as they were about everything leading up to the appointment.Honestly if you were referred here it’s likely because you have medi-cal and your child is too young, too combative, or a combination of the 2. These reviews are from people who act like their used to white glove service. Please stop. Be honest and admit the only reason any of us had to go here is because we didn’t take the necessary preventative measures with our kids in the first place. Be happy you even HAVE this option. You’re gonna starve your kid for 8 hours. Ya that sucks. You might have to wait around for longer that anticipated, nobody likes that. These are first world problems, get over it and take care of business for your child. Do yourself a favor and read through all the literature they give you when discharged. Coming out of anesthesia for a toddler can be pretty traumatic...don’t panic just educate yourself on what they GIVE YOU.

I know the waiting maybe long but i rather have a great service done. thanks to them they were able to fix my 4 year old sons teeth . I loved how they took me into a room first to tell me about the procedures and showed me which tooth theyre going to work on. i want to thank them so much because of their great work and my son is a big handful with dental after going to the childrens western dental. they had freaked him out . i am so grateful they did a wonderful job because now my son is able to eat way more then he can . thank you you guy so much for the great work i cant stop thanking you . keep up the great work!

Arrived at 12:40 for a 1:00 appointment, its now 4 pm, and we are still waiting! Son hasnt had anything to eat or drink since the night before. Youd think theyd care about kids, and not over book just to get more money.

The dental work is fine took care of my child was a really long wait but my issue is actually getting the receptionist to answer the phone (called 12 times in a row) and when you finally get them on the phone they act like you are making them work sighs under their breath and give you the run around or attitude.

Please stay away from this clinic! I advise you all to trust the negative reviews you see. I had to experience it to believe it. They do not have your best interests at heart. There are numerous reasons not to come here based on my experience.First, the wait times are outrageous. You will wait a minimum of 2 to 3 hours before being checked for vitals then an additional 2-3 hours to get screened and receive your suggested treatments. This is not including the time that it would take to get the work done!Second, Dr. Arslanian (General Dentistry) is a lazy rude doctor that doesnt care one bit about his patients. He is a two-faced person that pretends to be nice to you in order to get you to agree to his treatment plan suggestions. He becomes instantly rude to you if you disagree with his suggestions. He did not want to perform any other treatments that didnt involve crowns. I mentioned fillings and he went on about all the work that would have to be done. He only wanted to perform crowns on my child. I disagreed with him that crowns were truly necessary based on the photographs shown to me of my childs teeth. I was told my child needed numerous crowns which is outrageous considering I brush my childs teeth twice a day everyday. He then sent me and my child away and told me not to come back If I dont accept his suggestions.Third, there are clear indications that the doctors in this clinic are in it to perform as many treatments as they can and to suck as much money from you as possible. Instead of exploring your options with you, they only stick with one set of options and try to sell you on them. (Options that will pay them the most commission or options that will help them meet their quotas) They are persistent and remind me of car salesmen. Dr. Arslanian and another doctor attempted to persuade me numerous times without giving me other options. They were set on giving my child only crowns.And lastly fourth, if you need sedation involved services for your child, they will sedate your child first before showing you their recommended treatment plans in order to pressure you to agree to their services. This is not right! You should be shown your options right after the screening! If you disagree with their plans as I did, they will heavily pressure you to reconsider since the child is already sedated. Moreover, they will tell you that they will wake up your child immediately so you guys can leave if you disagree.If you do come to this clinic for the first time as I did, please be wary of their opinions and suggestions. If they seem too off, I advise you to seek suggestions and opinions elsewhere.

My son and I went here for the first time today and everyone was great! Reception Greeted us and took our information as soon as we walked in. They might not of been as bubbly as some my like but I give them kudos for having to deal with all the concerned and very frustrated parents on the daily.All the nurses in the back were so informative and helpful I had all my questions answered by everyone I asked. People don’t seem to Understand that it is harder to get a full view of what is needed surgically wise while your child is awake (getting and exam at a regular dental office) it’s easier to get a full and better picture once the child is anesthetized so the Dr can better examine the teeth without having to deal with a scared fussy child. That is why the plan of treatment can change from what your original dentist may have recommended. That anesthetist was absolutely wonderful he was so Patient and caring with me in answering my “concerned over protective mother questions”. The dentist went over a full treatment plan with me so that I could fully understand why and what was going to happen. My recovery nurse that took care of us was so kind I just wanted to hug her. Thank you all for taking such great care of us.

My daughter was referred here by her dentist like two weeks ago I called in to make an appointment because I had missed their call they had left a voicemail to call back they scheduled me an appointment for the next day I was impressed by the fact how fast it was which is a good thing to be honest I was not looking forward to this place because of the negative experiences people has had with this place but to be honest I loved this place the nurses are so sweet my appointment was scheduled for 6 am the lady told me they try to get the babies first which was a good thing because I was the second person getting their kids taken to surgery I didnt have to wait too long at 6 I was in the office because thats the time they open we lasted about 3 hours total in and out wasnt that bad for a surgery and my daughter was doing great after surgery I mean she was not feeling to great because of course she was in surgery but after two hours maxsjes was fine I strongly recommend this place if you dont want your baby to get traumatized. By the dentist they are out to sleep and have no clue hope my review helps honestly best place Ive ever been to

I was nervous coming here because of the negative reviews and because of putting my 4 year old on anesthesia. But she needed the work done already. I waited probably an hour and then I talked to the surgeon about what they were going to do and how the anesthesia works and he was very polite and answered any questions I had. They have a anesthesia specialist who takes your child to the back and they put a mask on them to put them to sleep and once they are asleep they put the IV in to keep the anesthesia going. They do the xrays and then the dentists comes in to talk about what needs to be done and it only took an hour for him to do the work. We were there in total from 9am-12pm. What it really comes down to is that if you dont like having to come to a place like this then take better care of your childs teeth! I should have as well, but since I didnt we had to come here and it was a good experience thankfully!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. The wait time is atrocious. My kid was finally seen 3.5hrs after his appointment time. They did not explain the treatment plan very well. When I called to have them explain it better because I was unhappy with the results, they treated me like an idiot. Well maam, you signed the consent form and it had everything listed there. Go anywhere else!

Been working in the healthcare for 30 years as a nurse in acute and outpatient settings and I have never seen a waiting time longer than this facility. I can only guess why it takes so long. The management should revisit their process of how to improve their costumer service. They have been doing this routine for so long I believed and the personnel became so callous and lost their consideration and their human side. I can see individuals just doing their job just because they need to to earn their paycheck but lost the quality of job that they supposed to do. I wonder if they even have a mission vision or just exist because of business as usual. Not to mention the poor communication of staff and not so clear explanations. Well enough said, just give a star just to be fair with and lastly the other earlier reviews about wait time is true. No complaints with regards to anesthesiologists and DDS.

I went here with my 6 year old autistic son.. his appointment was at 11:10 but they had the taxi come get us to come at 10 because they had a “cancellation” and then we waited for hours and didn’t get seen till about 2pm which is RIDICULOUS! He was crying and fussy and they didn’t not seem to care!!! The only reason I took him there was because he need to be put under anesthesia for his dental work. I’m in the process of finding a different doctor!

The only reason ONLY reason i gave them 1 star is because there was a guy back there who told me he has 14 grandchildren so he’s experienced with kids. And he said okay let’s go buddy and picked my son up to go to the back and he made my son laugh and feel comfortable so that made me feel better because before that my son kept saying I’m thirsty and this is taking too long and I felt bad because he’s only 4 all I could say to him is you have to wait. 😡😡 I was beyond irritated with this place. They tell you your child can’t eat 8 hours prior to their appointment which is fine because most dentists say that BUT when kids wake up they’re going to be hungry so if you schedule someone for a 7:15 appointment don’t call them 3 hours later finally and call others before them who had gotten there after the person with the appointment!!!!! When I looked on the sign in sheet there were like 3 people scheduled at the same time. WHY? When you do that people definitely have to wait hours when I was specifically told on the phone that I would be in and out because my appointment was at 7:15 and I should be here no longer than an hour and a half. Here it is 3 hours later my son finally got called back there to start getting taken care of. I have to work at 11 and it’s now 10:45 and they said he should wake up within 20 minutes so I’ll be late to work. This place organizes appointments and timing horribly. If the surgery takes an hour long THEN SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS ONE HOUR APART!!! Not all at the same times so people will wait for hours with starving kids!!!! I asked the receptionist does she know how long it will be because people are getting called before my son and he was here before them. She said she will ask the dentist and nurses and let me know and she never said anything else to me. They need a better appointment system and a better way to show that they actually care about their patients to make them feel comfortable. The only people who made us feel comfortable was the actual dentist and the guy with the 14 grandchildren. Those 2 are the only reason this place got 1 star. Other than that you will definitely be waiting too long with a starving thirsty child!!

Its very upsetting and alarming that the wait time is between 2-3 hours!!!! They need to schedule a better way so that your hungry child isnt sitting in the waiting room crying because they are starving. Especially when you have a later appointment/check in time. They need to set 1 hour blocks for patients and if one patient goes over it wont be a huge wait time. And to top it off, I was never advised of this outrageous wait time! Absolutely terrible. The doctors are great though.

I RECOREDED THE DENTIST ON MY CELL PHONE OVER 25:00 MINUTES AND HE THREATENED ME BECAUSE I SAID I DIDNT WANT TO GET MY SON ADULT TEETH PULLED OUT WHEN ALL THEY NEEDED WAS ROOT CANALS, HE THEN TOLD ME HE DIDNT FEEL LIKE PERFORMING A ROOT CANAL IT HAD BEEN A FEW YEARS SINCE HE DONE SO, AND SAID HE ONLY HAD TIME TO PULL OUT 6 ADULT TEETH, WHEN WE INITIALLY CAME IN FOR ONE CAVITY. I REFUSED AND TOLD HIM I ONLY WANT THE WORK DONE I WAS REFERRED FOR SO HE GOT UPSET, MIND YOU MY SON WHO IS SEVERELY DISABLED AND HAVE HEALTH ISSUES WAS ALREADY PUT TO SLEEP BY MEDICATION AND FACE MASK , THE DENTIST TOLD ME FLAT OUT THEN IF YOU DONT WANT TO DO AS I SAY THEN IM GOING TO WAKE HIM UP AND YOU CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, I LET HIM KNOW I WAS RECORDING HIM FROM THE JUMP DUE TO HIS LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND EYE CONTACT, AND LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM (WHICH IS IMPORTANT WHEN GOING THROUGH SURGERY) . We had an appointment at 11:00 and we waited for 3 hours just to go back there to check his blood temperature!!!! then we went back to the waiting room!! this place books too many appointments for them to handle!! Poor service!!! movies were great but watched three while we waited!!!!!!!.... never will come back here again!!! Took 4 hours for a 1-1/2 section......... I wont recommend anyone to come here!!!!!!!

Just ridiculous that they schedule your child at a certain time but dont get called back for 3 hours. Whats even worse is Fresno has no other options when it comes to dental surgery for children. I know they are trying to get as many kids in as possible but come on it feels more about the money then actually treating the child

Just got here we live in Coarsegold, I already hate this place, when asked how long they said 3 hours even with appointment! They have no respect for your time and why would they they are only game in town and get this if you are late for appointment they can cancel it! WTF

My daughter was referred to have 1 tooth pulled, when I got there the doctor came out and suggested that I should have two other tooth pulled. Trusting the doctor I allowed the procedure.If I could go back in time I would never let my daughter go through with the procedure they suggested. Know exactly what your child was referred for and only allow the Dr to do just that.Watching her roll out on a gurney and a tube coming from nose, is still one of my biggest regret. No child should have to experience at such a young age. In addition to this traumatic event my daughter ended up with a fever, which they did mention would happen. I watched her suffer for two days and developed an ear infection.DONT ALLOW THEM TO DO MORE THAN WHAT IS NECESSARY.Just say no.

Most of these bad reviews are due to long wait times but do they talk about the service? No. Most people dont understand how negative reviews imapct a business. Regardless, if youre a Medi-cal recipient dont pay out of pocket you will be referred to where your practitioner is allowed to refer you to.My dentist filled out the referral paper but for some reason it was not faxing over on their end.. so i called fresno dental surgery everyday for three days and not once did i get hung up on or given attitude the lovely receptionist checked everytime to see if my referral had been sent, three days later it still had not been faxed so i asked her if i could email the referral over and she gave me the email address. Within 5 minutes she recieved the email. On Friday she called me back letting me know the insurance had given authorization for treatment and she gave me an immediate opening on monday morning!!I arrived today at 640am to have my 3yo sons 2 teeth pulled and some cavities filled. My son was weighed, vitals checked all by 750am the procedure would only take an hour he was done by 9am. I was out by 920 am. Honestly i didnt wait that long taking into consideration how many children they see and how many doctors they have available. As a child i remember having to wait 3+ hours to be seen what has happened to patience as parents?The staff was amazing so informatove and they go out of their way to help. Communication was a bliss, if they werent on the clock id love to sit down and have conversations with them all, i especially liked robert, the anesthesiologist, the first older man who discussed the information and the dentist himself. I dont remember his name but the the man who worked on my son thank you so much for your above and beyong performance. You are a sweetheart. Thank you for trying to wipe the blood off of my shirt to carrying my son into his carseat and buckling him in. Thank you for doing the most. I wouldve hugged you if you didnt have to grt back to work. This was truly the best dental experience. I am happy to know that i am my children are in safe caring and loving hands. The whole staff is so supportive and amazing. I wouldnt have asked to go be referred anywhere else. What couldve taken months only took 1 week. Thank you.I do wish there were more toys or activites for children to play with besides the one interactive touch screen on the wall.

Wait time is ridiculous I been here since 9:00am I left at 11:20am, it took less than a minute just to check him to tell me he needs work and they’ll need to schedule me for another appointment. It’s ridiculous! I go to the front desk and just to tell me they’ll call me to schedule the appointment.

Appointment scheduled for 10am, I was told not to allow my 5 year old to eat. Its almost 2pm my child is still waiting in the waiting room. Hasnt eating, and were yet to be called in. This is unacceptable. How can the wait time be so long, with two dentists here? 3 hour wait is unacceptable.
