The experience that we had at Dr. Michaelides office was like no other! The most professional, respectful, friendly office I have visited , in a VERY long time. Dr. MICHAELIDES repaired my gums with no pain, no bleeding, and little swelling. Teeth cleaning is thorough and pain free. I highly recommend this office.

Ive been going to Dr. Michaelides for several years now. I am always in awe of how professionally his office is run. The interaction between the doctor and his assistants is amazing. Ive had pocket reduction surgery on all four quadrants and a gum graft and each one has been a great success. On the evening of those procedures, Dr. Michaelides, not his staff, called me personally to find out how I was doing. Dr. Michaelides takes the time to explain and answer questions, not only about the problems I have with my gums, but also his ideas for the solutions. I cant say enough good things about the Doctor, the staff, and the experiences Ive had at this office.

I had surgery regarding grafting for my gums (I do not know the exact procedure). I would like to say that Doc is very knowledgeable and will walk you through the whole process. The staff could be a little bit better tho. They were a little bit short whenever I had any questions or requests.Overall the experience was pleasant and I highly recommend this office for anyone seeking specialty care.

I helped my dad look for a Periodontal Specialist that is within his network. We decided to go with our instinct and go with Mr Michaelides. Mr Michaelides and staff was very patient, polite and professional through out the entire process when dealing with our insurance. My dad had several rotten tooth and they were affecting his judgment, social, appetite and overall well being. His gum was dark colored and his mouth smelled like the sewer and it was affecting my mother. Mr Michaelides exceeded our expectation and gave my dad his life back. He is no longer hiding from his friends and bailing out of social events. Mr Michaelides had recently helped out my mother but she was nowhere near as bad as my dad. We made a family decision to take early precautions to avoid future problematic by allowing Mr Michaelides to step in and handle my Mother premature periodontal disease. My parents are both retired and thanks to Mr Michaelides and team, theyre able to enjoy their retirement with no pain and most importantly, no regrets. Thank you!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Michaelides for almost 30 years, and I can not overstate how pleased I am with his services and staff. From basic gum surgeries to implants, Dr Michaelides has always had the most current and effective procedure for me. His long time staff are all so nice and supportive, I look forward to my visits. I did bone graft with dr Paul and my insurance need to get explanation report in writing why He want to use biological material on my bone graft. He asked the office lady to write and my insurance called him doctor need to write explanation and he agreed to write. After a few week I called the office regarding the report. The office lady said doctor wont write the explanation because if insurance did not pay I had to pay. Why he bothered to write. I told them this is the routine report every doctor should write explanation in order to let insurance pay. I never see doctor that unprofessional. He just want to charge patient without any cooperation with insurance. The only reason I think he did not want to write was he did not use biological material in bone graft just want to charge extra for material. I also email to dr Paul twice and I did not get any response. I did not even know what the staff write about in explanation instead of doctor.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Michaelides for the past 10+ years and have had nothing but spectacular experiences. Dr. Michaelides is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, making each office visit very pleasant. The hygienists and front desk staff are very professional and friendly as well. Dr.Michaelide is an awesome periodontist. The staff is all soo friendly and helpful. Dr. Michaelides is soo good at what he does. He and his assistants are caring and put u at ease. They explain what they are doing and are gentle. I wouldnt go anywhere but there and that is why I travel from Merced to go to him. I was referred to Mr. Michaelides office with a six year old implant that was having gum problems and some bone loss. Dr. Michaelides and his staff were excellent in explaining what was needed and how it could be corrected.The procedure was done timely, professionally and with very little discomfort. I was given pain medication prescriptions if I needed them at home, but I didnt need them.I would recommend his care and staff to anyone needing implant care or needing information about implants.

Dr Michaelides and his staff are always very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have. Dr Michaelides takes his time with his patients and is very tedious with the work he performs!

A few years ago I had gum grafting surgery on several of my teeth. AlloDerm was used on first surgery due to multiple grafting. I used my own tissue for second surgery. Both surgeries turned out to be a great success. I was reluctant to use the AlloDerm and had fears about the recuperation period. Dr. walked me through the process and eased all of my fears. His knowledge, dedication, care to detail and expertise is exceptional. This is the TRUTH.Dr. M. took the time to answer any questions I had. He was patient, direct and honest. This has been proven by his actions and results. He provided me with a treatment plan to avoid future problems such as cleaning my teeth four times a year instead of twice a year and flossing daily. Believe me, he was correct. It is worth the extra $200 to avoid future problems and the extra cleanings have saved my teeth because I am one of those people who build up tartar regardless of how much brushing I do. I have been getting my teeth cleaned for the last 50 years and probably would not have had as many problems if another dentist would have given me the great advice Dr. M has given me. I cannot thank him and his staff enough for saving my smile and teeth. One last thing that impressed me is how Dr. M. called and checked on me after surgery to make sure everything was Ok. The next day I had a concern. He called me right back and explained what was going on and helped me. My recuperation was not as bad as I thought it would be and two years later, surgery still a success.I cannot forget the wonderful staff. I have been getting my teeth cleaned for years and have never had a hygienist who surpasses Jasmine. She meticulously examines every tooth and assures that each tooth is completely tartar free. She spends at least about and hour on you and does everything by hand. The best part of her cleaning is she takes her time and you feel no pain. It is not an experience you dread as it was in the past.Dora is thorough, hard working, dedicated and precise. You can rest assured your portion of pay and insurance process is going to be accurate and correct.Sylvia and his other assistant (sorry, I cant remember her name) have treated me with utmost kindness and consideration. After surgery, you feel like you are taken care of very well until you leave the office. Dr. M is lucky to have such a competent staff working for him. I hope I can pass on a sense of confidence to anyone thinking of having this surgery done and having Dr. Michaelides perform the surgery or for that matter any kind of surgery.
