I will never forget how you helped me during the worst pain of my life.I was new to the valley and without insurance, had the worst pain ever and had to be seen or my brain would be seriously damaged from pain nerves. Those heroes saved me by not only setting me with the soonest emergency appointment in the whole valley but they also called me 2 hours after to notify me that I could be seen sooner and on a sunday and before memorial day, they truly told me we want you to enjoy your holiday and they meant it.When I arrived I had a dentist pricing paranoia. The front desk staff totally showed the opposite right away, she was very kind, respectful and understanding, calming and so explaining.The dentist and his assistant showed me what a true professionalism is and transparency. The dentist was so humble and he explained to me every single process and worked with my budget by offering a solid stable options. I will never see another dentist, they truly won me and I appreciate a great honest service like theirs alwasy.

Giving a two out five stars due to the fact that this company and the dental hygienist, herself, had stopped the front desk from charging me, and said that I did not need to pay because I was there to just get antibiotics, so no work was essentially done to me. Now they’re sending me a fine and charging me for the work that was done on me, and after multiple attempts of contacting them, they claimed I have no intentions of paying the fee and will send a collection to me and have actually charged me more, when I had no issues paying up front in the first place but was told I didn’t need to. Again, I honestly I had no problem paying and had my card ready. Very unprofessional as I was actually wanting to come back to this facility because my own dentist neglected my health, and I felt safe here. I’ll definitely be taking my business elsewhere, as I’m afraid I’ll be charged for something they don’t disclose to me in the first place.

I took my son there when he was in the worst pain, I looked everywhere to find someone who would see him that day and I finally found somewhere. When I brought my son in the staff was so nice to him treated him like he was their child he was so comfortable there and loves how nice everyone is. Not only were they nice to my son but so nice to me and worked with me and Im so thankful for that. My son can be a handful at times but they were patient and understanding made sure my son knew what was going on throughout the whole procedure. Genuinely the best dentist office Ive ever been to. Had a true dental emergency and was seated in the dental chair 1.5 hrs after calling in! Staff is incredibly warm and didnt make me feel nervous or embarrassed in any way. Plenty of options for those without insurance as well. 100% would recommend to those in need.

I called at 12:00 today with a terrible pain in my tooth, the receptionist Anna was very accommodating and has great customer service! Tiffany and the Dr were awesome, and accommodated my needs being that I leave in the morning at 4am to drive 11 hours back to Oregon, they stayed longer than their 2pm closing tine to get me taken care of. I am extremely grateful and thankful for this dental office 🙏🏼

I had a painful dental emergency with a swollen face and infected tooth. The staff was so wonderful and accommodating from the phone call to the moment I stepped into the office on Super Bowl Sunday! Today I went in to see the dentist in severe pain and I left OnCall Dental without any pain whatsoever! In all my years of seeing a dentist, I have never been to a better and more professional dentist than Dr. Gates. He is the best dentist I have ever had and I highly recommend him. His knowledge, skill, and ability is second to none. Prior to meeting Dr.Gates, I was greeted wholeheartedly by the front staff. Danae took my photos and she made sure I understood everything that was happening and did her job very well in taking my X-rays and assisting Dr. Gates through my appointment. This was no ordinary appointment either because I chose to remove a tooth in the very back and the whole procedure went very smoothly and without any pain. I started having a horrible toothache due to a wisdom tooth coming in and was in immense pain! I called Oncall Dental after reading all of these reviews and I can honestly say they were nothing short of amazing. I called at 8:30am yesterday and was sitting in the office at 10am. All staff are incredibly kind and are making sure that you are taken care of. Dr. Gates was such a great Dentist. I like many are incredibly fearful of have dental work done in general let alone an extraction of a wisdom tooth, but he spoke with calming, professional empathy. I’m also not insured for dental, but they do have a payment plan option, although I did not have to use it as their prices are very very reasonable. I’m so glad I picked them and if you were like me reading reviews wondering who to go to, I assure you that this is the place!

Five stars! This place is truly amazing! The staff was wonderful! Took me in right away! The dentist was able to see me examine me took x-rays and explained what I would need done, answered every question I had! He was very understanding, they offer payment options, was able to receive antibiotics for my infected tooth, then able to put money down to book my appointment to be able to receive the care I need it for my tooth. I cannot say enough about this office. I called in because I was experiencing unbearable pain from my wisdom tooth and needed it pulled right away. EVERY SINGLE PERSON I came in contact with at this office was amazing and friendly (and not in a fake way), you can tell they are just genuinely awesome people. They told me to come straight in, and when I got there the had me in and out in no time, my wisdom tooth removed and pain gone! Absolutely amazing experience.My wife had a cracked tooth that was causing her quite a bit of pain. She needed to have the tooth pulled today (Sunday) and OnCall dental took her right in. They were able to perform everything required to pull to tooth and graph bone to set up for the implant. She was able to get everything done and is feeling much better now.The staff at OnCall dental was the best I have encountered at a dental office. They did absolutely everything they could to make my wife and me comfortable. They treated us with respect and kindness, and never hesitated to answer questions or provide information. The post procedure instructions were impeccable, all of the staff has a genuine desire to make sure the patient is well taken care of. Dr. Gates was fantastic! The best dentist we have worked with, he was patient and treated my wife with respect. I never felt like I was asking to many questions or annoying Dr. Gates, he was attentive and very courteous. The other staff (Tiffany, Danae, Nancy) were also excellent, they treated us like family, like they were taking care of a loved one.I tend to over critique how a medical or dental office is ran, if I do not like something or see a red flag it is likely I will never return to that office. Not the case here, I will use OnCall dental for everything I can. They are truly amazing. Keep up the great work!!! You will see my family and me again soon.

Honestly i did not have dental insurance and yet it was affordable for me for taking out 2 wisdom tooth which had caused me severe pain and it did not hurt me through the procedure. Thanks to Dr. Kondo she was very patient through the end even they had closed at 2 p.m. on a sunday. I want to thank Oncall Dental that they are open 7 days a week which anywhere in fresno there is no weekend dental place that are open besides this place. Here i found them on the google search and had a great review! It is true with all the reviews and now I am finally stress relieved from aching jaw pain free now. Everyone here is friendly and nice! Absolutely one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had!! And amazing dental care! My dad passed away and I broke my front tooth within days from each other. . I obviously needed emergency care but also compassion. Every single facility member there were gracious, professional, and so thorough and understanding. I was very nervous in the chair but Hanna and Dr. Nyguyen calmed me down and my tooth is perfect!!! Now I can handle my fathers affairs with confidence and a smile. 😃 And I got some cookies to boot!

On Call Dental has been the best experience that I have ever had for any dental clinic. The staff puts maximum effort in making sure that you are comfortable and attended to from the moment you walk in, through your appointment, and to the moment you walk out. Dr. Nguyen has been taking care of me during the 3 appointments that I have had so far with the help of Danae. It’s easy to see how in tune everyone is from the welcome staff all the way to the doctors to make sure that the everyone is on the same page and the patient is at ease (as we all know that dentist appointments can be nerve wracking and stressful). Absolutely amazing, all of you at OnCall Dental. My husband had a molar that started hurting him Friday evening by Saturday night it was getting worse. Started looking for a Dentist to pull his tooth, being a weekend thought he was going to be in pain until the following week. Then yesterday (Sunday morning) found OnCall Dental in Fresno (about an hour away from us) read the reviews and called them. Elena at the front desk answered our call. She listened and answered all of our questions and concerns. She made a great first impression. We headed up there and he got right in. The office was comfortable. Dr. Gates was very nice. He explained what he had done. There was another sweet lady that explained further about the after care, I apologize, as I dont remember her name. Knowing that you are open during the week and on weekends and that you are there for more than just emergencies is great. We may be an hour away, but the 2 hr + total drive time ALL you there make it very well worth it and your price is very reasonable!!! We know where we will be going from now on. Just wanted to Thank you so very much for taking care of my husband. 😊

This place is AMAZING!! Went in for a sudden toothache, and was examined immediately. The staff is very receptive and put me at ease. Dr. Nguyen and the medical assistants are very thorough in explaining what treatment is needed. Im not afraid of the dentist, but having them give a blanket was quite nice. Ive had this painful toothache for about two weeks now. My tooth was decayed and partly broken, exposing the nerve. I was on every medication you could think of and nothing worked! I finally looked online and found great reviews for On Call Dental. Let me just tell you, the reviews were right ! The staff was super friendly and the appointment time was honored ( not like other places where they have you waiting for hours before youre seen). The doctor was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I explained how sensitive I was to pain and he assured me hed be as gentle as he could be. I was done shortly after and was offered a free follow up in two weeks. Overall, this was a great experience! They scheduled me promptly and the process was smooth. The price for my extraction was also reasonable. If you are experiencing pain, Id highly recommend you stop by!

My experience at OnCall Dental was great! The staff and Dr. Thomas Nguyen made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Nguyen extracted my top wisdom teeth in less than 5 minutes I didn’t feel a thing. Also I didn’t have to take the pain killers I was prescribed because I had no pain at all but I did get a bit swollen but that is totally normal and the healing process was fast! I am definitely going back for future dental work!

This is an amazing office, with great staff. Nancy, Angelica, Dr. Nguyen and Phyllis are very pleasant people. I went in for a severe toothache and needed relief as soon as possible, I was seen that very day. I was in so much pain it was unbearable, I arrived and I was taken care of with thanks to Dr. Nguyen, he informed me of my possible options and the outcomes of both options. I was treated like family by all the staff and Angelica really made an impact on my experience, she was very friendly and super nice, I was at ease and comfortable and left the office with two extractions but pain free! This is my new dental office. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I needed an emergency tooth extraction. They did it on a Sunday. There a 24/7 on call which is great because tooth pain doesnt just happen Monday through Friday. Lovely office.

I cannot express the gratitude I have for this office. I came into the office today 30 minutes before they were to close in severe pain and half my face swollen. The entire staff stayed an hour later after they closed to take care of me in my pain. Best dental experience Ive ever had, by far! I woke up with a swollen face and terrible tooth pain under a broken tooth of mine. Called that morning, got an appointment that morning, out by lunch time. Tooth pulled, no more pain, and Im back on my way to my Holiday plans without issue. As an over the road truck driver, it’s hard to find a place that can take me right in.. My first time going there. It’s great they are so friendly and nice. They really know what they are doing. And the best part is that you feel no pain at all! I had to take out my wisdom tooth because of an infection. I felt no pain at all it was so easy and fast. The wait also isn’t that bad as well, I only waited 20. Over all I would go to the place again if I need to get my teeth taken care of.

Came in right before they were going to close and were nice enough to get us in as my daughter had a bad toothache. every person we encountered were amazing and nice. we felt so welcome. not a very long wait. and they were able to fix my daughter up the best of their ability until we could see a specialist. totally recommend this facility to anybody who needs the best care. will definately come back and also use them for all future dental appointments.

Last night I experienced the worst tooth pain I’ve ever had, and being new to town I hadn’t yet found a dentist. This morning as I searched for an office that would be open on a weekend I found OnCall Dental. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. They made me feel so comfortable in a setting that normally has me so nervous. They were very detailed in their explanation of everything that was going on, and gave me several options for what we could do for my teeth. Upon leaving they even discussed dental insurance with me, and they offer their own plan! I left feeling ten times better than when I arrived, and with the comfort of knowing I now have somewhere great I can come to in my new area!

It was a great experience, even though I was in pain and had my tooth pulled instead of going to Church. From the first call with the clerical staff I felt relaxed and valued. It was more like a spa to me. The dental assistant was great, sorry I forgot your name. To top it off, Dr Nguyen put me at ease, I felt like I was with a friend, even though not many of my friends stick their hands in my mouth. It was a great experience and I plan to be back. Even with a slightly higher co-pay, since it is out of net-work for my insurance, it is worth it for me to pay a little more and getting much more in return..

I had been needing some work done on my molar teeth due to some decay. I was just passing by when I saw their sign that caught my attention, Dental Walk-In, Welcome. Of course, with any walk-in appointment, the wait time can last awhile. But, hey, they were happy to squeeze me into their busy schedule so I gladly waited.Everyone from the front end office to the staff in the back office was super friendly and professional. I love their hospitality. I was offered water, tea, and coffee by several different staff during my visit. while I waited in the treatment room, I was given the TV remote! I had my very own TV screen to watch. I felt very comfortable and at ease.I had the pleasure of being Dr. Nguyen patient. He took very great care of me and took his time treating my teeth. During my treatment, I was given shades to wear so the bright light above wouldnt hurt my eyes. That was very thoughtful and made a huge difference. After treating my teeth and filling it, my teeth look so natural and beautiful.I have to mention that I dont have dental insurance so I paid out of pocket with my own money. They do offer a great dental plan for patients like me who dont have their own dental insurance. Its a great investment, two cleanings, two exams, one complete x-ray, and 20% off all treatment. Now theres more to that dental insurance, I only wrote what caught my eyes and interest. Sadly, I didnt do the math and realized it later that it would have been better to pay an additional money to get their dental plan and save more money for my future treatment. Their dental plan would have covered the limited exam I received that day AND I would have received the 20% off for my treatment. Yeah, so Im really kicking myself now for now realizing this sooner. When youre a single mom and working part-time, you need to budget better.I do plan to go back and get more treatment done and purchase the dental plan.Some other things I like to mention before ending my review:-the restroom was very clean and offered mouthwash, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.-the whole facility was clean and had great decorations and family portraits.-I loved how I was able to lay down and watch TV while getting my teeth treated. It was a great way to distract my mind so I wasnt terrified.-I liked how the back office offered lip balm and floss key chains to patients.-AND most importantly, I didnt know I was Dr. Nguyen last patient for the day until I was paying for my treatment and overheard him talking about his plans for the evening now that he was off. Usually, you get the dreaded attitude because the doctor just wants to go home. But Dr. Nguyen was the complete opposite. He really took his time to take care of me. He didnt rush through the procedure. He was in full spirit and was outgoing. We talked and laugh throughout my procedure. AND I WAS HIS LAST PATIENT. Thank the front office staff as well the doctor and assistant were amazing on my taking good care of me by asking questions about pain and if was comfortable enough before I got my extraction, my visit went smooth and I was out before noon, as well I am going to soo recommend them full 100℅

I have a huge insane fear of dentists... it’s horrible. I have never met such patient and understanding people! They did literally everything they could to make me feel comfortable with the whole process. And I now have an appointment next week to come in and have the necessary work done on my teeth. And I am still a little nervous but not nearly as scared as I was before.

This past Saturday, I found myself in considerable pain but was unable to see my regular dentist because his office is closed on weekends. I went online and decided to show up at OnCall Dental when their office opened. What drew me was their impressive reviews - reviews I quickly learned were well-deserved. The facility is state-of-the-art and the staff - from Phyllis at the front desk to Tiffani, one of the technicians - is friendly and professional. The dentist, Dr. Nguyen, looked over the x-rays and examined me. He patiently explained that I had a calcified necrotic tooth and went over the treatment options. If you were my sister, this is what I would recommend he said of one of the options - something I deeply appreciated. I would like to add my high praise to others comments. This is a top-flight operation, one Im grateful to have discovered.

I really felt at home ive never liked the dentist in my life. but at on call dentist urgent care really made me feel relaxed and they cared for my pain and health. As soon as you have an appointment they see you right away. They offer you a friendly environment and offer you support as well as water too drink. Everyone has a great attitude and there very respectful and they get right down to the problem. Im proud and happy to call this my new dentist and DR Nguyen was a great dentist. Not once did i feel pain during the extraction or after. Great person to talk with. And they all work with you as a team

I called after hours with an awful tooth ache, they got me in the next day. Very pleasant staff and the dr was wonderful. They explained all my options and worked well with me.

I had an emergency dental need and they were available when I needed them. The staff was very helpful and very thorough in the options for my situation. I reccomend them for any of your dental needs. I will be continuing to use them as my primary dentist.

My husband was up all night with a toothache and we searched for a dentist open on Saturday and found Oncall Dental. We called as soon as they opened and from the first phone call to the end of the visit the staff was so friendly, professional and personable. We were geeeted right away, asked if we wanted coffee or water and the office and examination room was very clean and nicely decorated.They took their time to figure out exactly which tooth was causing the pain because my husband couldnt pinpoint where the pain was coming from. He ended up having to have his wisdom tooth pulled. They explained everything as they went and my husband was very impressed with the care he was given. We were both very pleased with the experience. I highly recommend this dental office.

Dr Nygeun was recommended by a friendHe did my exam told me what needed to be done .I paid 3000.00 up front .he pulled teeth out and put in graphs for implants.he also are a temporary plate where teen were missing which was in front.after surgery I had to wait for it to heal for implants. In the mean time my plate broke so no teeth again. I went back and they refused to replace my plate unless I paid 900.00 upfront. I left crying with no front teeth .at the time o was on unemployment they refuse taking psymentsAfter paying them 3000.00 up front that visit was 300.00 to tell my they need money first .so now I have no front teeth and no other dentist will work on another dentist work to put in implantsSo o wasted all my money on an incomplete job and looks worse then when I started .

Didnt answer phone at 3am and hasnt returned voicemail by lunchtime. Dont list yourself as 24/7 emergency dental if I cant call with an absess at 3am and even get an answer if youll help me.

Had not been to the dentist in over 20 years due to a traumatic experience as a child. I had been living in constant pain for months. I wasnt sleeping or eating and living in misery because of fear. Dr. Nyguen & his staff were extremely understanding & gentle. They explained the entire procedure and answered all of my questions. There were times during the procedure when I would feel afraid and Dr. Nyguen would stop and not start again until I was ready. That really made the difference for me. Dr. Nyguen & his staff have earned my trust & I will be going to his office for all of my future dental needs.

Our OnCall Dental experience was absolutely amazing! Walking into a dentist office can always be nerve racking especially when your loved one is in pain and suffering with toothaches.
