I went to get a padded shirt from my son I got a immediate assistance and I found what I needed and got help with a football Padded compression sleeve as well. The staff are friendly and helpful. And I didnt feel like I was being a burden to them.

Got great customer service even though we went right before closing. Wasnt rushed out the door like I have experienced at other places

Went in to get so river shoes for my daughter. They were all out on her size in all colors. I asked if they had anymore in the back and the nice young man helping me went to go look and was very apologetic for not having any left. He even offered to call around to other BIG 5 stores to track some down for me.

They have so many stuff , but i went here for the shoes. The shoes are displayed by category which is very helpful. They also have great deals. I like the sitting area where you can try on shoes. Those seats are very comfortable. Heres a pic of my mom trying on some shoes.

Really helpful staff. They were able to put an item on hold for us over the phone. When we came in, we purchased the item and some others. They even helped load everything heavy into the car.

The manager Martin lopez was the best he was alot of help and made shopping a breeze he definitely deserves a bonus for his great service!

This particular Big 5 sporting goods store is conveniently a large store. It makes for shopping much better.....

Excellent customer service

Good customer service. I was greeted upon entry, the store is a bit smaller than other locations, however, they have a decent selection. I was able to purchase MMA Muai thai gloves and they had a nice selection of heavy hitting bags. The bag I wanted was at their other location off Nees. Overall, very satisfied with my fighters gear.

Decent selection of shoes for a decent price. Associate who was helping us kept disappearing in the back.

Disgusting place the tiles are coming off from the store I almost slipped on the broken tiles in the store. You can tell they do not care about their store as a company rather more the numbers. The ceiling is leaking a older lady almost fell when I was there. Then there’s chairs up in front of the register that an older man literally fell and could have sued the place since he was bleeding. The managers there do not pay attention to the customers rather they are on the phone taking personal calls about what they were going to have for lunch. Managers that are there need to focus on customer service.

A vast selection of sportswear and sporting goods. Everything from athletic equipment, fishing reels, buck knives to camping gear. Their selection of tennis shoes is not only wide but very competitive in pricing to other chain stores. They have weekly sales that are good to keep an eye out for. Their products are normally high quality and pleasantly worthwhile. What you cant find elsewhere is here and if they dont have what you want, they kindly direct you where you can get that particular item. Great store all around!

Employees were very helpful. Went in for soccer attire but they only had a few items left. Prices were a little high for my taste but I found shin guards not in the color I wanted but the size was what I was looking for. Lots of sports items to look through. They also offer military discount.

The staff were more interested in each other than us. But hey we were there to buy some shoes. After looking around waiting on a crew member to offer some assistance we decided to leave. Thats when a member of the store asked if we needed help by then we were out the door.This is why its so crucial to hire people that will work and take stores best interest at heart because customer service is definitely a thing of the past. I wish the owners of the store would pop in every now and then. To see how their Investments going how their employees are working I think it would be very surprised.

Favorite store in Fresno. Could just go up and down the isles of this store all day. Always very organized and Associates are great, try to buy anything having to do with sporting activities here. Prices are usually better than the competitors, just bought 2 basketballs and a bunch of swim wear last week.

Good sale prices. However, store is so cramped, my father couldnt use his walker except on main isle so I had to keep going back & forth to show him stuff. All Big 5s are like this & its really frustrating.

They have everything I think. We went there because my friend wanted something from their shoe special in their newspaper advertisement. The racks were nice and full, almost crowded but overall there was a nice feeling. Lots of colorful displays and helpful staff.

Well normally I am a big fan of the infamous big 5, Ive been shopping there for years and as a matter of fact not too long ago I was at the marks and shaw location and had a wonderful experience. If this is their sister store, it would be the sister you had to pay one of your nerdiest buddies to go out with. The store seemed chaotic, employees running here there and everywhere but they werent running towards the customers....at least not in my case. Products and merchandise were strewn about, and only added to the third world market feel and I was halfway expecting someone with a basket on their head to ask me if I would like to buy some fish, but nobody asked me anything and I felt like the jilted lover... alone, left to my own devices with nobody to answer my questions about camping lamps. So if youre in this neighborhood and you want to go to a sports store, take the extra ten minutes and steer clear of this one and head on down Shaw to Marks where you will have a pleasant less chaotic experience. 1 star from this faithful Big 5 Patron.

The customer service is non existent here, even with at least 4 reps available. That was my problem getting shoes, no one was around then I found someone only to be told the sales rep was on break. Im a patient person and waited for about 15 minutes for help

Worst customer service ever. When to return an item and had to deal with the manager name Tammy she is a short blonde with colored eyes and an attitude. Then I asked to see a rifle and I asked her about information about the rifle and she had no clue and she offered no one to help me. Will not be back go to a different sporting store where they treat you like a real customer and value your money. Thanks to the store manager they just lost a thousand dollar sale and at least $400 ammunition good job big 5

They have good stock friendly staff and it was the only place I could find mink oil to rub into my leathers to make them more water resistant I tried five different places and they had it so they got a pretty good variety of stock

Great place for sporting and guns mostly shot guns and ammo .

They have a large selection of shoes and my podiatrist recommended that I go there for shoes. I had to return one pair because they werent comfortable after Id worn them for one day. I wasnt sure theyd let me return them but there was no problem at all. Of course I cleaned off the soles and made them look brand new!

For the quality of shoes and price I purchased a good work boot. The boot is comfortable and seems to be durable. Time will tell.

I wasnt necessarily trying to buy a telescope. They had unintentionally missed marked a nice telescope and I grabbed it having no idea. They wouldnt sell it to me saying it was a mistake, I was sad and my wife was a little bit irritated, well a little more than a little. anyways it sucked even though I like big5
