Middle of exam eye Dr says shell be right back half hour later Im still sitting there waiting!!!So I left ! They billed my insurance and sent me a bill for co pay !Ill pay it they must need the money more than me. my experience not too professional

They are amazing I had a Stye that worse over night they got me in on a Saturday morning, staff was amazing and Dr Amy-was even better, got me on some meds right away!

While sitting waiting to called for my appointment a family walked in for an adjustment for their son. The sons temperature was taken and he clearly had a fever. When the mother said that is not right the lady at the front desk took her temp and showed the mother the device was not broken (her temp was normal and the thermometer was green, the young boys was red). The lady at the front desk then took the mother and fathers temps and they were not fevers but it was noted they were higher than normal. None of the family were wearing masks and they were allowed to sit right next to me in the waiting area (their son literally sat in the seat beside me. My wife is pregnant and we have a toddler. I also have a family member in another state who is currently severely hospitalized due to covid (no prior health conditions) so the potential risks are very real to me. The lack of concern for customer safety and the lack of any type of enforcement of the symptoms check was discouraging. I understand it might be an inconvenience to the other family to come back at a later time but that would mean that the other customers and staff would not be put at risk. A fever is a potential symptom of covid even if there is no cough or sore throat (yes I understand there are other illneses currently going around however I am not willing to put my family at potential risk if it can be helped). I am immediately changing providers.

Dr. DeVries is the best eye doctor I have ever had. I am 49 and have been wearing glasses since 6th grade. She is very thorough, explains everything she does, and is just all-around wonderful. I would 100% recommend her. Also, her staff is very friendly, thorough and helpful, and the office is beautiful.

You ladies are the best, I wouldnt go anywhere else. And love your new building.

So my kids originally had appt next Saturday for their eye appts. Received a phone call from Fremont Vision Source that they were wondering if we would consider coming in today 7/31. I told them that was fine and that we would be there but we were also planning on school shopping and they said that was fine and we would get in and out. Checked in early for appt. so I am not counting the time we were early. It took us over an hour and 20 minutes. It wasn’t busy and there wasn’t that many people there. So we had picked out frames for my oldest and when we got out there to try on the lady was busy with some people that just walked in. Then the girl up front messed up the billing an needed to have the office manage fix it on Monday, but made a point of looking at me and saying that I could stop by Monday to pay the bill and bring in my daughter to try on those glasses that we didn’t get ordered. I felt kind of upset. We don’t live in town. I would have to make a special trip and I don’t really have that time right now. So they bill will have to get mailed and I am not sure if we will get the new glasses because I just feel like we did them a favor on coming in but they didn’t even have enough people there to help everyone.

My experience today was very good, the office personnel were very professional and courteous. They followed the current pandemic cleanliness guidelines to the letter. I had a very thorough examination and look forward to coming back for my next examination in 2021.The personnel were courteous and quickly tested my eyes prior to my examination. The doctor answered all of my questions and did a professional examination.

Very diligent in their efforts to ensure that the needs of my prescription were met while also giving an expansive list of available brands available for comfort at no additional cost to me. Very friendly staff. I look forward to my next visit!

My glasses broke and they got me in quickly. Everyone is very friendly.

The staff was very kind. We were there for my daughter to try contacts and get a new pair of glasses. I was a bit confused by extra charges for a contact class for my daughter. I felt a bit blindsided by this charge considering it was not disclosed to me when I originally made her appointment. We live out of town, so coming back in two weeks for her class was not ideal. Nonetheless, We got what we needed. A good pair of glasses and they squeezed her in for a contact class. We would go back, but I do think this contact class and all of its stipulations should be disclosed while booking these appointments. My daughter is thrilled to be trying her contacts and looks forward to picking up her new frames.

I am in town from Kansas City for awhile and I broke my glasses. My prescription was expired so I set up an appointment here. Seriously has been the best eye doctor/frame experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Schindler was very knowledgeable and personable. The receptionist was wonderful and friendly. The assistant tech was also fantastic and training someone as well. But most of all, my experience finding a new frame was phenomenal. I am used to wandering around for hours trying on a million pairs of frames and hoping someone will be honest w how they look. I sat down w Mike and he asked me a few questions and then pulled some frames based on what I told him I liked. I went with the second pair he chose and they were exactly what I described I wanted. Probably my favorite frame I’ve ever picked out. It took 10 minutes. I was floored to be honest. I am not one of those people who can pull off just any frame. Mike knew exactly the right shape to grab and listened to what I was wanting. He was honest w his opinions and helped me decide and ultimately I went with the pair he chose. I have definitely never had such a personalized and great experience picking out frames before. It usually causes me a lot of anxiety with so many options and the tech just saying that every pair looks great. I can’t say enough good things about my experience here and I will probably end up staying with this office even when I go back to Kansas City.

They performed a very indepth exam as a first time patient and the selection of frames was decent, a lot of brands. The staff was helpful and even helped me pick frames, which was a first experience for me. Pricing also very reasonable.

They are very aware and respectful of my childrens anxieties and dont push them to the point of a bad experience and memory. Website says they close at 5. Recording says they close at 5. I called 5 times at 4:30 to order my other six months of contacts in a VERY small window of time that I have at work because I live in Florida now. Used to love this this place and the customer service but I guess Ill be blind for another couple months. Mind you the phone was actually answered twice and then no one was there and the other three times I was sent to voicemail that said they were closed. When I had a thirty minute window to order them.

I have been using Fremont Vision Source for almost 20 years and I can honestly tell you that I would not go anywhere else to get my eyes examined or to get new glasses. I have purchased several pair of bifocal glasses and have been delighted with the fit and the durability of their glasses. They are so friendly and yet so professional.

I came here when this was Dr. Todds office years ago, and was sad when he left, but these ladies have done an amazing job continuing to provide exceptional service! Dr. Devries, and Dr. Schindler are both amazing! My whole family has their eye needs met here, and we couldnt imagine going elsewhere! There have also been a few of the back office ladies who have been there quite a while, and are very friendly and knowledgeable too!!

Eye doctor part of this place is great, had me out of there in an hour. Unfortunately, the optical SUCKS. I was being forced to try on pairs of glasses I had no interest in. Felt that I was ripped off, and even though my insurance paid over 75% for my visit I still paid over $315 for a BASIC EYE EXAM AND A PAIR OF GLASSES! If I didn’t have insurance, it would have been over A THOUSAND DOLLARS! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THE OPTICAL! A $500.00 pair of glasses is RIDICULOUS!

Customer service is a mixed bag. Some nice and some curt. Overall I got what I went there for in a timely manner, but it wasnt a pleasant experience.Addendum: They forgot to measure my pupil distance so I had to go back before the glasses could be ordered.

Bad for Business. The way the doctor treats there employees is unacceptable. Bad turn around rates for employees. Dont waste your time applying to this place they will fire you tomorrow. They force there employees to wear makeup and a strict dress code thats a joke. Just another stereo type that women cant be naturally beautiful! You should be ashamed of yourself ladys!

I saw Dr. Devries and she was awesome! I went from a glasses prescription that didn’t fit my needs as I couldn’t actually see out of them. Everything was super bright and blurry. I wasn’t able to wear to them. Dr. Devries did an exam and discovered some additional needs for me that I didn’t have before! I am now in a prescription that I can see and I found out that I am more blind than I thought I was but with the help of Dr. Devries I can see perfectly clear now! Thank you so much Dr. Devries! I would highly recommend this place!
