Old ladies massage place, not as advertised

Professional and courteous staff.

Walked in and walked out. They scheduled me, but were surprised when I walked in. No one can understand or speak English, therefore could not communicate what services they can provide. Asked me to pay upfront. I walked out. I have been here before under a different management. What a difference! Do not recommend anymore.

Wow, just looked at the reviews of this place and did not have the same experience at all. I bought the reflexology off Groupon for $23!! Kevin took care of me, constantly asked if I was comfortable and recognized if he was a little rough and asked and backed off when I told him my calves were tight or whatever. Im a runner and he worked out every kink in my plantar fascia. I almost fell asleep it was so wonderful. I wouldnt know about the reflexology part since Ive never done that, but the massage and the atmosphere were amazing. Upon leaving, I was offered a water which is customary after a massage at most places. I wanted to tip him at least 20%, which would be almost $10 since the service is actually $39 (You tip on the regular amount, not discounted rate - Please remember this when you buy these groupons). I only had a $20, and I asked Kevin if he had change, he obliged politely and I gave him a 10. So, a 60 minute foot massage for $33 is a wonderful deal even if the massage is so so, but mine was great! Ill be going back and paying full price of the ridiculously low rate of $39.Oh, and the only reason I rated a 4 instead of a 5 was because it wasnt really what they advertised (reflexology) and it had a weird smell when I first got in, but got used to.

Did a couples massage and we were not disappointed! Great deal, nice room, good massage, and respectful employees. We will be back again.

I honestly don’t even know what to say about this place. I had purchased two Groupons: one for a one hour deep tissue massage for my boyfriend, and the other one was a one hour foot massage for me.The place itself looks very nice and there is very nice calming music playing however, that is about all the positive things I can say about this place this place. While we were waiting for our appointment in the lobby an African American couple was done with their massage. As they were walking towards the doors, the masseuse asked the customer for a tip.I looked at my boyfriend because I thought I was hearing things but the look on his face confirmed that I had heard the masseuse asking the customer for a tip. The customer stated she had planned on giving a tip but she had to get her money out of their car. To make this part short, the customer proceeds to tell the masseuse that it was very unprofessional of her to be asking a customer for a tip. The customer also told the masseuse that it is at a customer’s discretion whether, or not, they want to tip anyone. Which I personally agree with, I tip based on service.As soon as the African American couple leaves, the staff starts going on and on in their native language mixed with some English words about them. One of the words that was used was the “N” word. It was very loud and clear. It is hard to shock me but I was speechless. I could not believe this was going on in a hearing distance from my boyfriend and me, especially since my boyfriend is an African American as well.Our massages were ok, nothing to write home about. After we were done, I handed the lady, who had given my boyfriend a massage, a $20 bill and I told her it was a tip for her and for my masseuse to split. She took the $20 bill with a dirty look, told me it was hers and I needed to tip the girl who rubbed my feet another $10. I personally thought $20 was quite generous for $57 worth of services that weren’t even spectacular but I handed the girl, who had rubbed my feet, $10. At least she bothered to tell me “Thank you”.All and all… one of the worst customer services I have EVER received in my life. First of all, tipping is not mandatory, it is a privilege and nobody should be telling a customer how much they need to tip you. Looking back, I should have taken that $20 back, skipped giving another $10 on top of that, walked out and never looked back! Second of all, you NEVER talk about customers behind their back in front of other customers. AND YOU NEVER SHOULD MAKE ANY RACIST REMARKS!As we were walking out of this horrible place, a man pulled up on the parking lot and asked us: “How was it?” We told him how it was... He didn’t even bother to get out of his car to go see for himself, he just drove off. As did we. Never to return again….

WARNING DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. This was a waste massage, of my time and a complete waste of money. After a long day at work I called and scheduled an 8pm 1 hour foot massages for 2. They placed us in the water to soak(my feet were pretty much boiling while my sisters water was luke warm) i even said something and was ignored. At 8:05pm a man walks for what reason I do not know but both of the women stopped helping us left and serviced him. After about 5 minutes one lady came back while the other lady was still gone for about 20 minutes meanwhile my sister is just soaking( they left her soaking for 45 minutes). My massage started at about 8:20pm. The massage sucked. She worked on one left for about 20 minutes and then worked on the other for 10 minutes. She got up several times to do God only knows what and ended my massage at 9pm on the nose. I said that was really short that wasnt even a full hour massage. She ignored me and never came back. Meanwhile the other lady started my sisters massage at 9:45 pm and ended it at 9:10pm(they closed at 10pm btw) so again my sister says that wasnt an hour you just started 20 minutes ago the lady then states your massage started when you walked in the building and while you soaked in the water. I have already extended past 9pm for you as if she didnt have her waiting 45 minutes soaking while she was helping the man. They do bad business and I never would have paid those prices for a 20/30 minutes massage. We paid full price too.And unlike the other comments they didnt asked for a tip because they defiantly knew they provided an awful service. NEVER AGAIN.

I suffer from recurring muscle knots around my shoulder blades that are very painful, so I came here after getting a deal from Groupon for 40 dollars for an hour. It was very last minute since I couldnt get into two other places and I didnt even look at reviews before making an appointment since I was in so much pain. The place is clean and professional looking and their pricing is very reasonable. Ive been to a couple different massage places around Fredericksburg from massage therapy to the place in the mall. They all operate differently so I went with an open mind (and a smidge of pain induced desperation) and they were able to help me out. My massous was attentive, before beginning he asked what level of pressure I preferred and made sure I was okay during the remainder of the session. I will be coming back here for maintenance on my shoulders.

Worst experience Ive ever had. My fiancé and I went in for a couples massage a week before our wedding to relax and boy was it far from relaxing. The lady I had massaging me was way too rough and hard and I had to ask her repeatedly to be softer, she then proceeded to laugh at me!! And then speak in her native language to the other masseuse in the room. I wish I would have gotten up and immediately left, but unfortunately did not. Once the dreaded hour was over, I was in tears because my back and neck were so sore. Fortunately, my fiancé said his was fine (but not the best weve had either). When we left the room, the two masseuses were waiting in the front with the manager and when my fiancé gave them a $20 for a tip, the male said to me where is yours? And I responded that it was for them to share. I cannot believe they were asking for more of a tip!! A tip is at the customers discretion, and honestly mine didnt deserve a penny from me. I walked out the door and proceeded to cry in pain. After what was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon, it turned into a nightmare. I am now suffering from a very bruised back and hope that I will be feeling better within the next few days before my wedding day this weekend! Horrible horrible place.

I was looking for a massage place to relax and unwind after a long day . I found a deal on groupon where you could get a 60 minute massage for $34. I called they were able to take me and asked me to pay there and dont get the Groupon (Groupon takes money out of their profit) .I get there have the well needed massage . It was great . Then upon leaving I asked the for change for a $20 to give him a $6 dollar tip ;one that is 18% and two I didnt have much cash and needed cash to get back home to New Jersey. He states normally for a 60 min massage its a $10 tip.I explained I didnt have much cash and needed my cash for toll money . He then looks as if he had an attitude and didnt want to take th extra $1 I was handing him . Since when is it ok to tell a customer how much to tip Im a person who always tops 18% for any service I receive and felt that was efficient. So if Im ever in this part of Virginia again . I will not be coming here

I have arthritis and get stiff, I really enjoy the hot stone massage. I have become a regular here with my favorite provider being Michelle.
