I went in to get a relaxing facial.. and boy did my stress fade away. The prices are cheap and affordable, and though the place doesn’t look like much, everyone there was super nice and made me feel comfortable. Sarah was my massage therapist and idk what she did to my face but it looks and feels AMAZING! Whatever she put on my face, I WANT. 10/10 recommend

Great service. The ladies were very nice and welcoming. We had an hour and a half couples massage that was wonderful for relaxing. The location is right off a busy street but we never heard anything other than your typical, soothing spa music. Would return.

We were so happy to have been served at Above and Beyond. My friend and I were on a birthday trip, and at the last minute decided to get massages. We called and left a message. We were called back in less than an hour, and they were able to get us in that day. Our massages were wonderful and relaxing, with just the right amount of pressure. The atmosphere was calm and comforting, and the ladies were so kind and sweet. It was just was we were looking for!

They did excellent massages! The environment was nice and the staff was pleasant and courteous. It is hard to get ahold of them by phone sometimes because they might be in a session. Id come back though.

I called the salon multiple times within a matter of seven days nobody ever answered I sent messages through their website for the same five days, I was attempted to schedule a couples massage for my husband and I for his birthday and they called me the exact day I had been inquiring about. And at that point I had already scheduled an appointment with another salon, yes there was a freeze yes websites were messed up but your phone was ringing off the hook and there was nobody to answer. Maybe if somebody had actually done their job and answered the phone Id be able to give them more stars.

Great over all couples massage. My wife absolutely LOVED hers, mine was a little on the conservative side, but with that said she did great. Overall, we’d go back.

The only thing above and beyond is about, is the above and beyond prices. I paid more for a massage than I have ever for a massage and got an average massage. Then I was asked to give a tip. Is this begging concept everywhere?Way overpriced! Insulting that i asked to give more.

This place was awesome! It was my husbands first massage and he loved it! Sarah made him feel comfortable and he fell asleep! Dawn and Sarah were very kind and professional and we felt sooooo relaxed afterwards. We were on our anniversary trip and they made us feel special! They were also very amazing with working us in same after a long sleepless night in our travel trailer. Im sore now because she was working all those knots out! Thanks again! We are going to make this a yearly tradition when we visit!

What a wonderfully relaxing experience. We were in town with friends and decided to grab a massage. The massage therapist did a great job with the perfect amount of pressure at all the right spots. Highly recommend for a relaxing experience that will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated.

If it was just me who got the message today I would have rated it 5 stars. The lady who did my massage was awesome she was very attentive to my muscles and needs. But my partner did not have as great of an experience. She has many knots and a bad shoulder, she asked for medium firm, but she got light and the lady did not focus of her bad areas she spent a lot of money and was extremely disappointed. So I suppose it just depends on who you get. But the customer service was great, friendly staff.

Got a couples massage here and could not be happier with the decision. Setting an appointment was quick and easy with no fees or hassle, the atmosphere was perfect and as relaxing as it can get, and the therapists (Matthew and Sarah) both did an outstanding job. We now know at least one place were going each time we visit Fredericksburg.

This is the first time I have ever paid for a massage and did not actually receive one. Pressing on pressure points for an hour is not my idea of a massage. I have to wonder if the therapist ever went to massage school. Though relaxing to lay down for an hour it was like the lazy mans massage. My friends massage was cut short by at least 20 minutes because she was called back so late. Fortunately, my sister had a good experience which we were happy to hear since we were on the trip for her. I realize our appointments were scheduled late in the day, but I made the appts a week in advance so all should have been prepared for our visit. Staff was friendly but will not be back.

Went to Frederickburg for our honeymoon last week. I thought it would be nice to get a couples massage. I, myself have had plenty of Great Massages and I also worked at a Spa for a few yrs, So I certainly know what to except from a Spa experiences, as for my husband this was his first massage.About the best thing I can say about Above and Beyond is that the people were extremely nice. We were put in the front room closest to road, so the whole entire time I could hear the cars and trucks, horns, people, and just all the road noise right out side the windows. NOT very relaxing!! Also the ambiance or should I say, what ambiance?!! There was nothing is the place that made me feel like I was in a SPA. The room we were in was as bright as if I were still outside! The room was cluttered from end to end, which drove the clean freak in me crazy! That may not be a big deal to you. So about the actual massage, it was ok, Ive had better. But like I said they were nice and my Husband bless his heart was happy but he just doesnt know what his missing. So, If you do decide to pay Above and Beyond Spa a visit maybe ask for the back room and let me know if its any better. :)

My husband and I got a couples massage here over Memorial Day weekend 2017. Weve had a few massages in the past, but we both agreed that this was the BEST massage we have ever received. He and I both left the spa feeling refreshed and amazing. My husband was seen by Tatyana and I was seen by June. Both were very professional and absolute experts. We will definitely be going back next time we are in Fredericksburg!

We treat ourselves to a massage when we travel. Found this place on Google places which pointed us to a website. The menu of services and prices were clearly stated online. Luckily we chose to call ahead for an appointment because apparently they are quite popular.The Spa is located on Main Street in an original 1869 era limestone building which looks pure historic Frederickburg if you know the town. We had requested a couples massage and reflexology “combo”. We arrived a little early but nicely greeted by the business owner who made us feel at home. Both therapists greeted us by name and we started on time. Our couples room was clean, comfortable and quiet complete with relaxing music and interesting art on the walls everywhere.We were both so “noodled out” afterward it was almost funny. I have to say the massage was perfect and wished we had asked for longer sessions. The place is definitely full of positive energy.Overall classy with a clean environment, friendly staff and high quality massage.
