Had a really good experience with the ER until it came to billing. Our son fell out of bed and split his chin while holidaying in Fredericksburg. The nurses and Dr we saw were great. Numbing ointment, 3 stiches and kiddo was back in bed in about 3 hours door to door. Fast forward several months and several different bills later. The cost of the thread used to stich up his chin was over $500. Thats not the ER room, not the Drs time, not the nurse. Just the thread. If I had known it was laced with gold I would have asked to keep the offcuts.

My husband and I were very impressed with this ER not only was it fast and efficient but the staff were very friendly. They also had the latest robot technology to consult a neurologist for my husband who needed to replace a prescription he had left at home. Very impressive!

Needed hydration from a upper respiratory infection and was not listened to as a 37 year type 1 diabetic. I went through hours waiting for their process to work. The nurse was condescending and bossy. The doctor came in one time, ordered tests and didn’t come back. The result was an inability to listen. Photo is a pic of dirty oxygen monitor.

Good experience when I was in there but was hung up on when I called back later in the day to ask for a suggestion for pain relief. Woman on the phone said they were dealing with an emergency and didn’t have time. There’s medical staff and office staff and other staff... Isn’t that what the office staff is for? Answering phone calls and what nots? Felt very offended.

I dont even want to give this place one star!The receptionist were so rude. I just wanted to leave asap! Very trashy!! I will make the drive to San Antonio before I go to this hospital ever again!
