I have been using this practice for approximately 15 years. However, due to recent unprofessional and unethical business practices, I not only will never obtain future services, but will ensure that the proper authorities are made aware my experience. They really don’t even deserve one star!

Terrible costumer service! They scheduled me wrong, very rude lady with 20 years of experience on check out. No one didn’t introduce him self. By lady, our appointments was at 10am, 11am and 12pm. I’m 100% sure that I made appointments starting at 11am, my mistake was last week when I confirmed appointments I didn’t check time. But we came at 11am me adult, and two of my sons (3 & 5 years old)They finish with my sons and at 11:35am at frond desk lady with attitude and very route, no respect towards me like a patient she said that they can not see me because we are late. I wanted to ask her what about 12pm appointment!? And I got feeling they didn’t want to see us. Doctor told me that my son have cavity and refer me too pediatric Dentist, referral form was given to me by the lady and didn’t have any tooth on referral I ask her to tell me which tooth it is and her respond to me was that doctor can not diagnose which tooth have a cavity because we didn’t do x-ray 😂🤣 lady with 20 years of experience. I have just 10 years of experience and I’m 100% sure that doctor know which tooth it is but he can not be sure how big cavity is! At least she should ask him if she do not know. And I need to mention lady from front desk all way on the left she was very nice and very professional! And second lady I’m not sure it’s dental assistant or Dental hygienist she was nice too. Doctor was ok only I would like to know his name he didn’t introduce himself.

Ive had a deep-seeded fear of dentists since my Lane teens. I had some extremely traumatic dental episodes that gave me extreme anxiety about sterling foot in an office, and it didnt help matters that every dentist I saw felt the need to explain to me that I havent done a good job and should have come in sooner.No kidding. Thanks.THIS place was a miracle. No criticism, no unnecessary comments, no angling to get me to do horrifying procedures with nothing more than an insufficient amount of numbing agent. Just friendly people who want to figure out the best way to help. They listened to my experiences, were sympathetic and went right to work figuring out a game plan I could manage. I feel a tremendous weight lifted from my shoulders. A++!

The staff at VA smile is phenomenal. They take their time in your care. Explain your treatment is needed and you never feel rushed. I would definitely recommend this dentistry.

After being with another dentistry for 10 years, I needed to change to another practice. This was my first appointment and it was great. Everyone was knowledgeable, listed to my concerns and addressed them in detail. Actually looking forward to my cleaning in March, how often do you hear that?

Every experience Ive had with this office has been great. Very nice, helpful & personable staff in all areas. Wait time was always less than 10 minutes. I definitely recommend Va Smiles.

Of all the years and many different dentist offices Ive been to...this is my most favorite and Im a client for life. Everyone here is super nice and professional...everyone that works here makes you feel very comfortable and at home. Im very particular about my dentist work being done and by who and I couldnt be happier. Im extremely impressed by Dr. Perez and the Dental Hygienist, Eric. They have both made me extremely comfortable and I actually dont mind coming in for my appointments when I used to dread it in the past at other offices. I havent had a dentist appointment in a very long time. From start to finish they were easy to work with and treated me very well. It didnt take very long once I did my paperwork as a new patient to get into the chair and been seen to by a technician. Overall, a great experience.

We love the staff at VA Smiles! From the front desk staff, the hygienists and the dentists everyone makes you feel welcome and puts you at ease. They are friendly and work to get you right in if you are having issues. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist!

If you need dental implants, you want a doctor that is extremely knowledgeable , and has a lot of experience in dental implants. VA Smiles has that doctor. The entire VA Smiles team is absolutely amazing, from start to finish. They truly care about their patients.

I definately would not recomend this place. Poorly made dentures. I had to have 2 sets made, the second one was worse than the first pair.So disappointed. I just couldnt believe it. I have been wearing dentures for 30 years. My last pair were from affordable dentures a lot cheaper and nicer looking. I have been wearing that denture for 15 years now. I paid a lot of money for something I cant wear.

In spite of the fears of COVID19, I had my traditional dental cleaning and check up this morning. All staff throughout the office were diligent in keeping us safe and protected. They even have installed new equipment that will capture stray droplets. Wonderful experience today.

Everyone was super nice and friendly.They took me back on time but I sat back in the chair a long time. It was my first visit. They are very thorugh. I need to go back another day for a cleaning. I would recommend this dentist.

Always friendly staff. Dr. Perez is an awesome dentist. Does super work and Ive never had any issues with any of his work. He takes a lot of care and patience when working on my teeth. He never talks down to you and makes you feel at ease. He takes the team to thoroughly explain what is going on and what needs to be done.

Dr Ahmadliyar is a wonderful Dentist!!. He also has a wonderful staff and associates. He is and they are caring, has patience and truly is concern for you, the patient and clean.

I love this place but they need to keep appointment times within tighter windows. The last two times I went I was not seen until 1.5 hrs and 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment times. As they say time is money and that time could have been used for other efforts.Great office and great staff and I still would recommend them to anyone.

Friendly staff and clean place of business should be a given. I gave a 5 because I was able to get in the day I called and the tooth removed to resolve my issue which I brought upon myself. Unfortunately, I will need more things fixed in my future but I already know where i will be going . Thank u VA smiles. I may be missing a tooth but will smile anyway

Visit following VA opening back up after COVID. The office followed recommendations including everyone (patients and employees) wearing masks, plastic partitions with front desk, temperature checks, no powered cleaning tools. As always great service and teeth cleaning!

Terrific family dentist office! Our family of ten have been customers for fifteen years. We have had all manner of services during that time, from regular hygiene appointments up to dental surgery, including special needs brought on by medical conditions. Have always been treated like kings and queens, have been told when service was essential, and have been told when it was not essential, including braces that were not needed when recommended by a different practice. We will continue going back.

My dental hygienist, Pam was amazing! She was very caring and very gentle. I am always very pleased with this dentist.

I had to find another dental office because of insurance changes and I couldnt have found a better place. The office manager (Brenda), the receptionists (Dawn and Cailynn), the dental assistant (Jess) and the dentist,Dr. Standerwick were absolutely phenomenal! Everyone was friendly, professional and caring. Dr. Standerwick took the time to thoroughly explain all of the options for the recommended dental procedures that I require. Dr. Standerwick also did a great job with my cleaning. So glad I found VA Smiles, Iooking forward to my next appointment. VA Smiles is AWESOME!!!

The service is amazing! Ive had my kids here for more than a year and every appointment the doctors show me how devoted they are to the comfort of my kids. (No pain means happy kids and even happier parents)

I have been going to Dr. Ahmadiyar’s dental office for over ten years, and I never had any problems with the care and attention they provide. Look for Ashling Wilson as your dental hygienist. Shes very thorough and makes you feel at ease at all times.

Every experience I have had with this practice has been a good one. My daughter who has severe Dentist anxiety never has an issue when she goes to VA Smiles. I would highly recommend.

Very professional, I always have a great experience

Today was my first visit at this location. So far the entire staff have been absolutely pleasant! They explained my treatment plan in detail, gave me the information I needed, and have been all around wonderful. Normally xrays can hurt when you get them, mine did not today. Uncomfortable sure but didnt make me bleed,cut my mouth, or wasnt extremely painful. Ill review again when I get some work done.

This place is a rip off, and the person that handle billing question is rude and extremely unprofessional.I came to this place for a second opinion and just want to know what is the quote to fix a crown. Ive repetitively told the front desk multiple times, that I just want to know the price quote since the previous dentist I visited was outside of my insurance network. I got to meet the dentist, and ended up with a higher quote than my previous out of the network dentist. The quote also included procedures that are not needed.I ended up declining to move forward with them since I believe they give price quote based on how much your insurance allows per year and try to maximize the allowable services without consideration of whether the patient needs the service or not.I later received the bill from them charging both me and the insurance with a combination amount of more than $100+ (my portion is $51), just because I came in to ask for a second opinion.I called them up with the intention to pay, but before that, I would like an explanation why are they not listening to my request is that I just wanted a quote and recently came from another dental office.The lady name Carla, picked up the phone, and when I asked her my question, she said the ... office cant determine how much you have to pay at the time of service because we dont know if youve been to another office for evaluation before us and whether if the insurance will pay for the second evaluation.I was very surprise at this point, since Ive told them repetitively that Ive recently came from another office and just want a second opinion, of course, the insurance will NOT cover the cost.... So, I asked Carla to explain why my repetitive notification of this is a 2nd opinion and I came from another dental office was ignored? She then get defensive, rude, and repeat the same answer more than three time. At this point, Im think Carla is too rude to be helpful, so I just paid the balance.I hope my share of this experience helps you make a good decision on whether or not to pick this place as your dental office.

VA Smiles staff is very friendly and courteous. The wait time is no more than 5 - 15 minutes.

The Ortho staff is wonderful especially Amara...she is always willing help..the staff in ortho are always polite and friendly...they have an awesome clinic.all of .the front desk clerks are professional and polite as well..

I was stuck in traffic for my appointment so I was 15 minutes late. They cancelled my appointment and stated I must reschedule. They fail to realize how difficult it is to take off work early. Will not be returning.
