Disappointed with the products they sell.I have been to Sight Studio Optometry MANY times over the last several years spending literally thousands (I am notorious for losing glasses). I go here because its in the neighborhood AND the Drs and techs are wonderful. Yesterday I was went to put on a pair of very expensive prescriptions Oakleys and one of the legs just broke off. I was surprised to see that they actually snapped at the hinge because i have owned less expensive glasses for YEARS and they have never broken like that. These frames are less than a year old.I figured no problem I can probably take them over to my place and get them repaired. NOPE. Sight Studio receptionist told me I had not purchased a warranty (you would think they had a basic warranty for the products they sell) and if I had, they do not cover Oakley frames. No manager or tech looked at them. I hate to find a new place for my lens wear because I definitely buy frames more often then most people.I will reconsider where I shop for frames going forward. Need make sure they back up what they sell.I know that I can probably use Oakleys warranty process to get them fixed but I know it will be weeks before i get them back and I doubt they will pop the lens back in.Below is what I spent at Sight Studio Optometry in the last year alone.

Amazing customer service and beautiful facility. The staff was very friendly. Scheduling was a breeze and no wait times during my appointment. They had all my products available and price matched products I needed. I also left with imformation needed for future appointments. When they fell short on a delivery they made it very easy and more convenient to get my eye care to me. This is definitely my primary care for eyes in the future. Highly recommend.

So Im not sure what these bad reviews are about but I have nothing but good things to say about this establishment. They are ALWAYS polite (More specifically Jessica, who is GORGEOUS btw lol) and welcoming when I go in. Everyone there is awesome and I have no complaints.. Their turn around time for getting glasses is very quietly as well. I will always recommend this place!

The doctor (Dr. Sutton) was nice but the staff was absolutely horrible. The optician, (the one that fits your glasses) was not professional and had a terrible attitude then gave me the wrong prescription from 2012 dated from 9 years ago. The reception desk employees were behaving in a silly, immature manner that did not reflect a professional office. The employees gave a very poor impression of competence regardless of the doctor’s service. The visit was extremely uncomfortable. My husband and I will not be coming back for future eye exams.

Dont bother wasting your time, they cant even book appointments correctly. Called last week for an appt., just to show up to a confused receptionist. Thanks for wanting my time.Edit: Thanks for reaching out, looking for a way to make it right. I thouroughly enjoyed my appt. today.

Ive worn glasses and contacts since I was a wee land and this was the most customer focused experience I can remember. The process was effective and precise while having no sense of being rushed. The level of professionalism and capacity to inform was the benchmark by which all others will struggle to achieve. Its quite telling how family owned businesses get this while corporate stores can only pale by comparison. If there was ten stars to give Id give them eleven. Thank you.

For a scheduled appointment I waited 40 minutes before the first person saw me, another 30 before the actual doctor saw me. I had to cancel another appointment due to their inefficiency. I told the doctor this and she was incredibly rude & unprofessional. I did not have time to look at glasses and would not have anyway wit their prices. I used Eyeconic online as they pair with my insurance. After receiving my glasses today.....SURPRISE, the prescription the stellar Sight Studio doctor did is wrong in 2 places so far - computer portion and reading portion. I havent tested the driving portion yet but have no faith and yes I have worn no line trifocals for years. When I called Sight to let them know I need the prescription looked into, I was told I will pay a fee for that.....WOW. They are overpriced and because they think they are a boutique salon, you will pay the price literally. I would NOT recommend.

I could not be happier. I am fanatically picky about my glasses. I have a difficult prescription for lenses and I rapidly go from reading/computer/ distance all the time. They called my insurance up with ease and told me what to expect. I chose one of their more expensive frames and was told two weeks to get my lenses. The glasses came back in 8 days. The fit is correct and the prescription is spot on. This is the way it is supposed to work. Thank you Jessica and Jessica. (there are two of them)2 months later - The same response on a second pair of glasses. No problems and outstanding results. They kept me informed and took care of everything required. I could not be happier. A very professional group. I will be back.

The Sight Studio provided me with great service, and an accurate prescription. My eyes are ‘jacked-up’, and after failed attempts at other Stafford eye drs, I went to Sight Studio — and they nailed my prescription without any drama at all. If you are a 50+ year old guy like me who depends upon his glasses for everything, give the folks at Sight Studio a try.

A joke. They did my exam, but they cant put new lenses in my frames unless they take and keep them for over a month. This wasnt disclosed until after the exam. Im out $55 for absolutely nothing. Go elsewhere. I am

The doctor was friendly and knowledgeable, but be sure to understand what you are being charged for while checking in. I was charged for a retina scan without being told about it up front or being given the option to opt out. Super shady if you ask me. They ended up making it right by crediting the charge to my final bill, but still an unacceptable business practice.

Of course Ive seen Sight Studio in downtown Fredericksburg a thousand times by now.. never considered stopping by until my FAVORITE and only sunglasses got stepped on (by me, oops). I called Maui Jim and they recommended Sight Studio to help me out.Great customer service! They heard my request, ordered the parts for me and then fixed my sunglasses on site. Shout out to MVP Karina for making this process super easy and preforming the repair to 100%.Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The absolute worst experience I have ever had for eye care. This company cost me so much time and money. Billed my insurance for products not received. Cost me over $300 in insurance premiums and $180 of contact lenses I had to throw in the trash. No one in the office can get their story stright. The officer manager wanted me to pay for another office visit to refit me for the lenses. I asked for the owner to call me several times. Nothing. THE WORST EVER. Makes me sick to my stomach.

This is a perfect location for a wonderful team of doctors. Ive been a patient of Dr. Adams for about 12 years and absolutely adore him. When I brought my parents in to see him, he saved my fathers life by finding his high blood pressure. He helped my mother find the right pair of contacts. Hes helped me manage my eye care to the fullest extent. Ive since gotten married and had four children and we are all patients. I strongly believe that having your eyes checked once a year is essential to your health because your eyes will show medical issues before the rest of your body does. We began taking our children in as young as 6 months and weve caught every vision issue early. Dr. A is amazing with children and I recommend him to everyone.

Customer service has been very good here. My family is new to the practice and its been a pleasant experience. Jonathan has been especially helpful when my son lost his new glasses, its stressful when something like that happens but at least it wasnt like jumping through hoops to get him a new pair.

I was not a patient at this facility, however, while waiting for my daughter to finish her appointment, I left a somewhat expensive personal item in their waiting room near the close of business on Wednesday and called the following morning as soon as the store was open to ask about it. They said they had seen it and would need to check with the person who closed up the night before. It took until Friday afternoon for me to finally receive a reply that the person who last had my posession, said she threw it away! The gentleman who called me said he looked in the dumpster, which if he did, I appreciate it, but I find it hard to believe it took a day in a half for me to find out my possession was thrown away. Highly suspicious behavior and therefore I will never go back to the Sight Studio and my family will not be supporting their business.

In my experience seeing the doctors at this location over the past 3 years, the doctors are acceptable. However the office staff are incredibly inept and unbelievably unprofessional. This woman could not verify my insurance with more than 24 hours notification in spite of the fact I repeatedly provided her accurate information. She kept staying I was she would ‘attempt to verify my coverage with one provider despite me correcting her about who my coverage was through because I work for a company headquartered out of state. No many how many times I corrected her assumptions she wouldn’t listen. When I was in route I called to confirm she verified coverage with my insurance. Nope! She was still trying to contact the wrong company. When I arrived she offered to charge me cash for the visit and let me pay for it. it I didn’t want to do that, she said she would have to reschedule my visit. Seriously. It’s one phone call.When I asked to speak with the doctor in private to voice my concerns, the doctor was dismissive and defensive of her employee. I’m not a believer in the customer always being right. I’ve worked my fair share of retail. But you don’t dismiss a legitimate complaint. To top it off, she was more concerned over me taking a picture of her little shop than correcting the situation.Another fun fact, I leaned that this same woman improperly measured me for my last pair of progressive lenses. I dropped a stupid amount of cash for her ineptitude. We will no longer be doing business with this store.My advise: save the stress and take your business elsewhere. You can get designer frames online with zero hassle. You can find a doctor who actually cares about their patience and their practice somewhere else.Update: I visited My Eye Doctor in Stafford the following day. They had no problem verifying my insurance. Everything was taken care of prior to my appointment. The doctor there was excellent as was the staff.

Went to their office on Caroline St for an eye exam in January 2019. Was told that my vision had changed drastically, which I questioned. I then to their office in Central Park. Purchased 1 pair of glasses and ordered a second pair. Two days later I went back to the Central Park office and advised them that I felt the prescription was wrong. They adjusted the glasses. It made no difference. Long story short, they will not refund my money for the exam, or either pair of glasses. The second pair of which the order was not submitted for a week and half, and the frames were lost. They never notified me when the second pair came in, I only found out by going to their office. I refused delivery of the glasses since I knew the prescription was wrong. I have since been to another physician and had a new exam, and it is completely different in every area. So Ive thrown away $410.00 by using this office. They will not refund your money under any circumstances. Disputing on your credit card doesnt work either.
