The water tastes like carbonated water! The food is served cold most of the time! Some of the nurses come to work with an attitude!! They don’t give you medicine properly. The administration is totally unorganized! I will never go back again.

I worked there for a couple of years, 2017 and 2018. I loved my job and met some fine nurses and doctors who care so much. There will always be some who will say negative things about the facility but I have no reason to be anything other than honest. It is a good facility with good people doing all they can daily. Ive been gone for two years now and I truly miss working there and will always carry good memories. I find myself missing residents still and definitely missing the staff I worked with. If you have issues with the facility or how things are done or NOT done, please, talk to the director of nursing or assistant director. They care and they will listen.

This place let Covid run rampant and didn’t even allow visits to locked windows during the pandemic. Awful care - please don’t let your loved ones get sent here.

We took Mom here for respite care twice in 3 months. Both experiences were great. Every time we popped in to check on her, there was nursing staff buzzing around and attending to her. Residents seemed engaged and happy.All staff members we dealt with were beyond wonderful. Facility was clean, well lit, and welcoming. We were really worried about so many bad reviews, but apparently new management has made a HUGE difference! Would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you!!!

Place is such a joke. They dont care about their employees or their residents. 100% would not recommend. Also they have covid in the building. Cheers.

This facility does not allow window visits. My mom went in May 2020 and we were told window visitation would be allowed. We had to call to set up a time and we could stand outside with a glass window between us. After having window visitations several times, we were told they would no longer be allowing them. I contacted corporate who got me in contact with the owner. Ive been given multiple excuses as to why I cannot have a window visit with my mother. The first answer she gave me was CDC and CMS said so. Well I cant find that recommendation anywhere. Then Im told the temptation to open the window is too great. So the window is not locked? They refuse to put up something as simple as a camera or an alarm. She said no one is above her to go to about her policy and she owes me no explanation. Ive talked with her twice and both times she reminds me how important she is and how little time she has. She even demanded the names of the staff who allowed me window visits because they would be fired. What sense would that make? When theres a nursing shortage and during a pandemic it would make zero sense to fire staff over window visits. Ive had concerned family members and friends ask for them to reconsider window visitation via their Facebook page, all very respectful. They deleted over 35 sincere and valid questions/points, not once but twice. To say Im disappointed in the lack of compassion and child-like attitude from someone in a leadership role, is an understatement.To corporate, Trio Healthcare LLC, out of Georgia:You have zero cares about the people entrusted in your care, but you put on a good show. I was nice when I called with genuine concerns and you were rude and defensive from the start. What do you have to be so defensive about?

Great place hubby went to Carriage hill last time because of the good ratings and we didn’t like it Fredricksburg was much better in care

DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITY!!the staff have stolen from patients, the director does nothing about it. They do not give life threatening medications on a schedule, miss meds or simply do not give the meds at all. Medicare is billed for items that my loved one never used or received. It takes nearly an hour or 2 hours for anyone to respond to the help/call request, if they even respond at all! Please beware, if your loved one needs adult diapers or bed bathed they will not get changed, cleaned and will most definitely acquire bed sores. This facility needs to be shut down and I am most like going to the Governor with my information. The staff curse at patients, treat them horribly and its very sad to witness. The halls smell of urine, it is a filthy place. On 4 occasions, 4 seperate days, my family member never received a meal. Out of 3 meals daily not one meal was served even though the call button was used the entire day requesting his food but never received a meal. He was told by several staff members that they will bring it but never returned and one staff member said its too late, there are no more trays WHAT!!?#@!%??! Most importantly....none of these so called certified nurses follow doctors orders! It is a simple certification to work in this place. Very inhumane relationship between the caregivers and patients. Stay far away from this place!!!!

Got here at 2:15 pm on a Saturday to visit ill patient. Within 10 minutes I ask for a staff member to assist with getting person into a wheelchair to get them some fresh air. I get told sure it will be about 15 minutes waiting on additional staff to get here. 3:15 pm - I start to get frustrated and see about getting them into a chair myself. I realize their daiper is soaked with urine. I notify staff and am told they cant help because they have to have 2 qualified staff to help large patients. Its 3:47 pm and I am still waiting for staff to come help with diaper and transfer to wheelchair, but they cant because they will be written up for trying to help while understaffed.

This place is god awful! They are RUDE! They do not properly maintain the facility they talk down to their patients, and the family. Please beware before sending loved ones here. They treat their patients as if they are idiots and they are not they are still humans just trying to make it. They keep oxygen levels dangerously low and refuse to give more than 3 liters when the patient clearly needs 4 or sometimes more.... Then they dont use bed rails for fall risk patients. I could go on and on. They have refused to follow the doctors Orders! Its just plain sick how they are.there is a reason why they have the lowest raitings in the region, please research.

This place is very unprofessional and there staff and nurses are rude and have no respect for there patients ! My grandmother was here for 2 weeks recovering from a stroke , they treated her terrible , made her wait 45 minutes to get help to the restroom and so much more , when I had her moved , she had a severe infection and tested positive for the flu when this place told her it was just allergies, wouldn’t recommend putting any family here and my grandma is so happy where she is now !!
