Live Better Hearing is the place you should go if you need anything to do with your hearing. They are kind courteous and pleasant to work with. The hearing test was a breeze. The fitting of my hearing aid was thorough. They taught me how to use my hearing aid, and how to care for it. My all-around experience was great thank you live Better Hearing.

She explained things well and did not push services that were unnecessary. I did not feel like a number, nor was the appt rushed. (A rare thing with Drs these days!) I received excellent service from Live Better Hearing. Needing a last-minute appointment to adjust my hearing aids before I embarked on a two-week trip the next morning, the receptionist, Sarah, managed to find an opening at the close of business to squeeze me into and Dr Reid took care of my hearing aid issue in short order. Dr Reid was professional, patient and congenial. She never made me feel as if I was encroaching on her end of day departure time (which I knew I was). The hearing sids are now working perfectly. Dr. Amanda Reed had a wonderful disposition and performed/explained tests well.Time to get in for vestibular testing was over 3 weeks which was very unfortunate as I was dizzy then and had to wait too long for this testing.

Dr. Jenifer Cushing is top notch. Other office staff is professional and consistently pleasant. Id give 4 3/4 stars if possible. Only cons are wait time at appointment, and slight uncertainty that appointment cancel and resched were solid because of emails about them; front desk staff seeming uncertain about patient info needed or already collected; and communication about charges insurance doesnt cover. Oh, and it would be great if fully Covid vaccinated patients could not wear masks.

I went in and they took very good care of me. They were professional and explained what they were doing each step of the way. They helped me put into perspective what they could and couldnt do to fix my vertigo. And if I ever have a problem with my ears Im going back because they know that a patient is a person first.

After putting off addressing my hearing loss, I finally set up an appointment with Dr Reed at Live Better. Im glad I did. I have had my hearing aids for about 4 days but the difference in my hearing is dramatic. I would say my hearing is almost 100%, something I didnt expect---I thought there would be some trade offs. The added benefit of Blue Tooth hearing aids is an added benefit because I can listen to my iPad or answer and talk through my hearing aids because they are paired with my cell phone.All in All a great experience---Dr. Reed is patient and gives you all the time you need to feel comfortable with every aspect of addressing hearing loss. Dont hesitate to make an appointment.

She explained: the process; each test (what it was for and what to expect); the test results; and what she recommended for the next step.

Pretty straight forward. If you are a first time client, like me, youll go in and get your hearing checked thoroughly. Then youll speak to the Audiologist about your results, and discuss your options. Everyone was pleasant, and, I had a good experience. I saw Dr. Brandon Adawi. He is nice, listens to all of your concerns, and provides choices based upon your situation. Hearing Aides are expensive, but, they offer a financing program, so, thats great. Would definitely recommend.

Our newborn failed his hearing screening at Frederick health hospital and our pediatrician referred us to Live better hearing for a recheck. He passed just fine and I appreciated that I could hold my baby while he was being tested (unlike at the hospital bc of covid regulations), they dimmed the lights and also allowed me to feed him (to keep him calm for testing). Although we didn’t have any major issues to resolve, we appreciated the in office experience and would recommend to anyone needing a hearing specialist.

I just moved to Frederick, MD recently and needed a new audiologist to check my hearing and adjust/repair my hearing aids. Live Better Hearing got really good reviews, and were also recommended by the manufacturer of my hearing aids, so I made an appointment. From the beginning, Sarah was outstanding, setting my appointment, sending me the proper forms to prepare for my visit, and emailing me a reminder the day before my appointment. Today I met with Brandon Adawi for my hearing test. I have had several hearing tests over the years but this was the most comprehensive test I have ever had, and very well explained! After the test he cleaned and repaired my hearing aids, and updated the settings based on my test results. I noticed an immediate improvement in my hearing! I also took advantage of their peace of mind coverage which saved me a substantial amount of money today and will save more throughout the year. I highly recommend that you ask about it! I have been dealing with whooshing in my left ear for 6 months. I had been given a nasal spray, been told to take migraine meds by other doctors. My new ENT referred me here for testing. Best referral EVER! They listen, ask questions and when leaving made me feel confident i got the best treatment possible. Have you ever been to a doctor that rushes through your appointment? This office is not one of them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

We called, we scheduled, they gave us all needed information via email and i was able to fill it out and take it in day of appointment. We got there early only waited for a little bit and then they actually took us back early. They allowed me to feed my baby and gave me time to get her to sleep. I finally got my first set of hearing aids late fall of 2017, and Brandon Adawi and his team members were great! Their help made it a really positive and comfortable experience for me. They took their time, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood the process every step of the way. Once I my hearing aids arrived, they went through multiple tuning and tweaking sessions to get what I think is an optimal custom fit for my and my hearing. One of my great challenges, was to be able to function in crowded noisy restaurants and other situations where I wanted to carry on a conversation in situations with a lot of background noise. It actually took only two adjustment sessions to get the directional function customized to my needs, and now Im able to enjoy those rambunctious dinner parties with my co-workers again. I went in this morning to pick up some cleaning supplies, and it dawned on me how much a difference being able to hear clearly has made in my life. Hearing loss is insidious in the way it creeps into you life slowly and imperceptibly steals your joy of communication. You dont really understand how bad it was until it is corrected, and then its like night and day! For that I am very thankful for the folks at Live Better Hearing, and highly recommend them. If you have hearing issues, dont wait and struggle for 10 years like I did. There is some fantastic technology and fantastic people available to help!

I have had the best experience with all the team members. I wear Lyrics, which require an audiologist or technician to insert so my ability to hear depends on their availability at a moment’s notice. Brandon is so accommodating at fitting me in by staying late or coming early. And one time he wasn’t available Dr Cushing was able to squeeze me in. I was also very touched that I received a handwritten congratulations note from Sarah when I mentioned in passing I had a new job. Excellent service and personable.

Im very happy with their service. Getting an appointment is quick and they are very efficient. They emailed me the paperwork to my email address before my appointment so that I need not waste time at their office filling all those forms.I went for a hearing test at their Frederick location and Brandon Adawi is the audiologist who did the test for me. He is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I was a little nervous in doing this test and I felt comfortable after talking to Brandon.He did the otoscopic examination on my ear drums and then a series of other tests where I was asked to listen to different tones at different frequencies on both ears and etc. Brandon went over the test results and he took the time to explain what those results meant. He patiently answered my questions. The entire process took close to an hour for me and they also gave me a copy of the hearing test results.

My hearing loss was progressively getting worse. It was embarrassing because I often have social contact with large groups of people, and it is difficult to hear, and respond to conversations in a crowed room with many people talking. Live Bettering Hearing tested and diagnosed my exact hearing loss, then corrected it with prescription hearing aids, resulting in my hearing and life returning to normal. I am very grateful to them. What could be better than walking into their office and coming out the same day feeling empowered and ready to experience this beautiful world we all share?I knew I was missing out on social and work conversations, and I was even having trouble processing language on television and at theater productions, but I really hadnt realized how much brain energy I was wasting. I also didnt realize how much I missed the sounds of nature, and now, with my state of art hearing devices, Im truly living better!The entire staff at Living Better Hearing in Frederick is very personable, professional and welcoming. Brandon took the time to explain the extent of my hearing loss and has been extremely helpful and patient while Im learning how to use these bluetooth hearing devices more fully with my smartphone, including how to manage my tinnitus. Since Im newly retired, Sarah navigated the insurance process and assisted in finding just the right financing I needed to fit my new budget beyond what my insurance covered.Living better? I have had several hearing tests and the one I received during this visit was the most through and comprehensive test I have received. Subsequent visits were thorugh and professional and the programs used to calibrate my new hearing aids greatly improved my hearing. I feel I have a state of the art hearing device backed up by outstanding professional service from my hearing aid dispenser Brandon Adwari.
