Hali is very professional and friendly. She does an excellent job at listening to what I want done and does it well.

I took my teenaged daughter for a haircut. I showed the stylist the photo my daughter liked and she said that it was fine for me to walk away. I returned about 15 minutes later to an absolute disaster! Instead of the style my daughter asked for, she had just started chopping her really wavy hair DRY and it looked terrible. When I told her that the cut was nothing like the picture, she became rude and kept making excuses about needing product and saying that the style would never work on my daughters hair. I asked her why she didnt tell me that in the beginning. She brought another employee over who looked at me and said, I see what you mean about the front.its going the wrong direction, but I also see the stylists point.If the stylist had been professional and apologized for the terrible cut or offered to have the manager fix it, I would have been willing to work things out. But she was so rude and dismissive that I refused to pay for the cut. She left the room for a long time, making us wait forever, before returning to tell us that we could go and didnt have to pay. The worst experience I have EVER had in a hair salon!

This is the first time that Ive gotten my hair dyed professionally, and I was not disappointed. It was fairly quick and Samantha did a great job. Everyone acts like they cant go to Walmart to get their hair done but I have never found a reason not too.

I wanted a simple bob, and my haircut ended up being super uneven and having very strange layers. I’m going to a different and more professionally skilled salon to get it fixed.

I got my hair cut here last Saturday. Very disappointed. I showed the woman doing my hair how I wanted it cut. A blunt bob at the shoulders with very minimal layers. What I ended up with was a ton of layers and hair that is uneven by an entire inch. This was my first time at this salon and it was a poor experience. This is what also made me decide I just need to cough up the money for an actual professional to do my hair..

I will always come here. Allyson is who my family sees. I have a large family and she always makes time for us and never rushes. My kids and I look great when shes finished. Everyone there is professional and always has a smile on there faces. Again I will always come here.

Hali has been doing my hair for several years. Shes amazing. All the ladies in there are great.

Audrey Totally botched my daughters color. She was unprofessional and more worried about an appointment she missed and her boyfriend calling her over and over. And on top of that, she charged $25 more than than the price they told her it would be to begin with. I do not recommend this place, or at least that stylist.Update, manager is awesome. Going to fix someone elses mistake.

I have been going to Smart Style at the Wal-Mart on Lima rd for a few years now all the ladies are very sweet and professional! Allyson has done my hair and always does a wonderful job with my haircuts..highlights..etc. I always leave from my appointment feeling ten years younger and beautiful! Thank you for that Allyson!!😘 Also, I brought my 105 yr old Grandma in to get her hair done a couple years ago.. for my little sisters wedding. Hali took care of my grandmother and she did a great job!! The pressure was on her..Lol..because my Grandmother used to have her own beauty shop in the fifties! Grandma knew just what she wanted and she thought the beautiful young Hali did a wonderful job on her hair.😚 Keep up the terrific job youre doing Allyson and Hali and all the ladies at Smart Style!!❤

Hannah is the best! I went there one day with a very messed up hair dye job and she fitted me in to fix it. All the girls are wonderful especially when my girls get their hair done! Allison was very patience with my 11 yr old autistic daughter who didnt know how she wanted her hair cut. I always feel welcomed there prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended

Appointments only. But, I was allowed to wait. First appointment didnt show. Shame on them but good for me.

Haley has been cutting my son’s hair for about 5 years now and she is awesome with him! He has Aspbergers Syndrome (high functioning Autism).She has helped me with washing my hair, I have Fibromyalgia, and in the winter it’s so very hard to wash my hair by myself.The rest of the staff is very friendly and polite!

SmartStyle has many talented stylists but none more than Hannah and Sammy. These two give quality work no matter what I need...cut, color, wax, or style. I have been going to see Hannah for years now and am always 100% satisfied every single visit.

Had a great experience just a few weeks ago! I was nervous to get my hair cut so short but Hannah made me feel confident about the new style and her and Sammy made it a comforting environment! Very pleased with the outcome!

I have frequented this salon for years. Alyson is able to work with my very thick curly hair. One time I went to famous hair and it was awful but was able to get it fixed at smart style since the cut was so bad. Sammy cut 13 inches off one time to donate to cancer victims and again a great job. I enjoy the comamderie there, the price and great value of a good cut and style

I have been going to see Allyson and occasionally Sam for 10 years here! I have never had to return to have my hair fixed once!! This salon is always clean, organized, friendly, willing to make last minute appointments if they can, always have all products you need in stock, and just an overall great place to get what you want out of salon without paying outrageous prices! Audrey did such a great job on coloring my hair and putting highlights first time and then second time going to get a root touch up and highlights going back for a third time to make my blonde highlight even blonder couldnt ask for a better hairstylist then her she is very sweet and great at what she does! Allyson and Sammy Jo has been providing Excellent stylist services for well over 8 years. I much appreciate these ladies when i went thru Breast Cancer chemo treatments! They assist me with dealing with my hair loss and how to maintain my scalp. They are the best in the state of Indiana for sure!!

All of the stylists do an amazing job! Allyson is our family favorite, but the best thing is that all the ladies do a fabulous job! They are all very attentive to what you want, help with suggestions when you are thinking about making a change, and just overall provide great service. LOVE THIS SMARTSTYLE!

Lima road smart style is the only salon I will go to. Sammy is amazing, she knows exactly how to treat a customer! All of the stylists are super nice, helpful, and take their time to make sure the customer leaves with a smile.

In October my husband took me to get my hair done as a gift. I got a perm done by one of the new employees at the time. She over processed my hair so bad. I went to another hair stylists else where and she even agreed my hair was way over processed. I dont even have curls its nothing but straight frizz and dry damaged hair. In order to fix it I would have to cut it all off. I will never go to this place again.
