I have read all of the reviews that are available for Dr Fisher. Before I even went to the surgeon I had a bad taste in my mouth and was afraid of being treated badly due to having state insurance and some of the other bad reviews I had read. I guess I dont know all the circumstances surrounding the bad reviews, but this dentist was absolutely great to me. He was polite, explained exactly what I needed done (including under my special circumstances). His staff has been excellent as well. I was originally scheduled 8 weeks out for surgical tooth removal for 3 teeth with the nerve exposed with abcesses. His staff worked extremely hard with my insurance company and within a matter of days they found me an appointment within a week. I understand that people despise the dentist, but Dr fisher is very compassionate, made sure to calm my nerves by automatically offering sedation since I have a severe fear of the dentist. I will update more after the actual surgery.

I went in this past Tuesday 1/26/21.I went in to have 4 teeth extracted. I am home and it has been 2 days since the extraction. I have taken the medicine they provided for me and only when the aching comes. The pain is very toliberale. Its more of an ache than pain. I honestly was expecting more pain. My face is still swollen a little and a little bruised but for what they did I am satisfied for how the whole procedure went. I want to thank the nurses and Dr. Fisher himself for helping me and taking care of me and I would recommend them anytime.

The lady on the phone was very rude until the point I wanted to scream. Every time I call to make a appointment the lady on the phone always says no I don’t have anything for you. Let me remind you I called three times already to schedule and she’s always rude. She acts like she’s out of it every time I call . Please do something about your staff she is terrible rude on the phone. And if you ask to speak to someone else she always says let me get your number someone will call you back but they never do. Poor Dentis to go to with a staff like this.

My daughter had all 4 Wisdom teeth pulled in February of this year, yes almost 10 months ago. First issue, they couldnt wake her up after the surgery. After a 45 minute delay, I forced my way back. I am the one that got her to wake up a while later. They kept stalling me during the 45 minutes saying it was sometimes normal for there to be a delay. I checked and this is inaccurate. Mind you, this 45 minutes was after the 15 to 20 minutes NORMAL waiting time. Then as I am driving home, she begins throwing up A LOT of blood. Again, I was told this was normal because patients can swallow the blood when they are asleep. Funny, I thought that is why dentists used suction tools, that an assistant uses it as blood is coming out by sectioning it out. They said they did use this. Well if they did, then exactly how much blood did my daughter lose? I took her to her physician and she was Anemic. This means, she lost way to much blood during the surgery. 3 of the 4 sockets became dry sockets, which is extremely painful especially when you are still swollen from the surgery. My daughter followed all of the instruction and she doesnt smoke, which is what is normally the main cause of dry socket. Here we are eight months later and the two bottom sockets are STILL not healed. Her jaw hurts so much she has pain when chewing or moving her jaw too much. She didnt have this prior. Oh, and good luck getting a hold of them. I think 99% of calls goes to Voice-mail and if you are calling due to a problem, you now have a better chance of getting struck by lightning then them actually calling you back. Messing with me, I will deal with it. Mess with my daughter and you are in a whole different category of bad. I wanted to add that after reviewing the comments, it seems like some peoples procedures went good and they dont understand why or how these other people describe it as a nightmare. My daughter was given 3 medications to put her to sleep. One includes Propofol. This is the same medication that killed Michael Jackson. This dentist, literally has these peoples lives in his hands. Had I not forced my way in to begin talking to my daughter, I truly believe I could have lost her. I am happy for those that had appointments that went well. I am really upset with HOW MANY went Scary wrong. Please keep that in mind as you judge other people who dont agree that their appointment didnt go anything like yours.

Dr.Fisher and his staff were phenomenal. I had my wisdom teeth removed three days ago. Connie and his wonderful staff made sure I was comfortable from the time I stepped into the office. The wait time is a little lengthy but they made sure it was the best experience provided and that I was comfortable the entire time. She even turned on the radio for me to ease the anxiety. Do not judge by the few negative reviews from the past and see for yourself. Any questions I had they did not hesitate to answer and made sure I was taken care of like family. Definitely worth the wait!

Great experience! I had an abscess and they were very prompt in getting me in asap. Dr Fischer was great at making sure I had as little pain as possible and he worked very quickly. I was given clear instructions for post OP. Dr Fischer is a master of his art. The staff was friendly and treated me like family. Most are veterans and I thank them for the great care. Ive read some other reviews and if you think they are a bad dental office, youve really never been to a bad dental office. Dr Fischer and his staff are amazing.

After reading negative reviews, I was very hesitant about going in for an abscess tooth- but am so glad I did. The entire office staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr Fisher was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and caring. He gave me clear pain-management instructions to ensure the safety of my pregnancy. When going back in for the extraction, I felt completely comfortable and cared for. He is great at what he does!! Couldn’t recommend this office enough!

Dr Fisher and his staff are absolutely amazing. I honestly don’t understand some of the bad reviews on here, I think they may have been written by miserable people who will never be satisfied. Honestly, I have been treated with nothing but respect and kindness from Dr. Fisher and his staff. They got me in quickly, got everything done perfectly and were nothing but professional and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Fisher, he is a wonderful oral surgeon.

Edit: I had my surgery yesterday and all 4 wisdom teeth were removed. The wait was a little long, but, they do a morning meeting, and I was the first patient. The surgery went by crazy fast if you do deep sedation. They were so nice, very comforting and to be honest my surgery went faster than they planned and were very nice about refunding me what they didnt use. Today Ive not taken any pain killers, if really doesnt hurt! Its more annoying to not beagle to eat what I want and the swelling is annoying but its not as bad as I expected! They were so amazing at this practice. Thank you guys!!! You all were so nice. Made my nerves ease up and were very kind and understanding. Dr.fisher was great! Impressed with his lovely staff. 4/19/19***I was a bit leery with the rating but after my consult with Dr.Fisher and meeting his staff Im impressed!! My wait was a little long but they were so nice and friendly to me during my visit. I feel comfortable with my upcoming surgery!

They are a rip off. Very rude liars and thieves. They took down my comments because I called them out I needed 5 teeth pulled they submitted 4 teeth to my insurance company and wanted me to pay them 250.00 because they are not satisfied with what insurance company pays them. Beware of this place. They will remove this when they see it. The worst place in Florida. How they are still in business I don’t know! Who are they paying off! They need to be investigated by the FBIBeware. Beware. BewareI gave a one star because the building exists

Had several extractions and wisdom teeth that had to be surgically removed and Dr. Fisher did an amazing job. The percentage rate of nerve damage for me was high and he managed to avoid it. The staff was great! Took months for me to get in due to the lack of information to the insurance but I would go to him again for any extractions!

I will NEVER use these people again!! They were very rude the entire 4 hours I spent there... the only people in that entire place that helped in any way was a patient in the waiting room.. i spent over an hour talking with the receptionist (who was completely rude!) Only to be ignored after surgery I was givin instructions I followed the to the letter and was told I not supposed to do that then was told to do the exact opposite.... in the instructions it says if you don not see improvement after the first few days after surgery, dont suffer needlessly. Call the office.... the biggest lie Ive ever seen the whole time on the phone I was NOT aloud to express my concerns only interrupted and told they were NOT going to help!! Worst experience ever! If there was an option for negative stars I wouldve gone with that....

I see all these horrible comments but first off.. Be lucky they even take Medicaid and grateful. Second, who cares if he has few staff, its a small warm family feeling place and not super busy therefore no need for tons of people. Thirdly, I loved his staff. They walked me through everything step they laughed with me and helped calm me down bc I was nervous. They were absolutely amazing and sweet. As for Dr Fisher lol he is old fashioned and firm. But good as hell at what he does and has a good heart. Not everyone has a talkative wonderful bedside manner but theyre normally the ones that get the job done the best. I had my teeth removed and he was awesome. Staff was amazing and super funny. I think they all did amazing. Good job guys! Special shout out to my Sandra Bullock lol.. 😘

My daughter needed a procedure done, and in our local area Dr. Fisher is the only Oral surgeon that takes our insurance. At her consultation Dr. Fisher seemed like a nice man and he seemed to have some nice staff and I specify some staff. The office manager/insurance person is down right rude! Does not want to do anything more than she needs to get by. The insurance needed a narrative and she refused to send it to them cause she didnt think they needed even after I called our insurance and verified what was requested. Thanks to this woman not doing what was asked my daughters insurance denied her procedure. Now my daughter has to wait 2 more months to get a consult with another oral surgeon out of our area. Completely ridiculous!

I just wanted to take the time out of my day to let Dr. Fisher and his staff know how much I appreciate what all has been done for me and my kids. He is the ONLY office that accepts Medicaid (Humana and Molina) in the surrounding area. I didn’t mind the wait (which wasn’t long anyways) because I know how many people are trying to get in as well. It bothers me greatly that some of you have awful things to say about such a caring practice. They are sweet and beautiful from the front to the back. Dr. Fisher is a character himself, funny guy and tells his honest opinions. For everyone who is trying to decide on coming to his office..... DO ITTTTT..... you’ll feel right at home. Staff is super disrespectful. Especially the receptionist. She kept changing the dates knowing its an emergency. I asked her was the date going to change again. She said it probably would . and she said she was going to remove us from the list and hung up. We called again and tried to talk to someone else and they said nope we cannot set up your appointment.

They were very rude on the phone to the point that we never bothered to schedule an appointment...by the looks of the reviews and our experience with them on the phone I would say the problem is the staff! Maybe the doctor should look at and respond to his own reviews. Just look how they answer the reviews themselves. Just disrespectful...

They know me as Crystal Beam. This is the WORST dentist I Have ever seen!!!! First I walk in and this place is like the house of horrors. (So serious, I almost walked out) Halloween decor everywhere and I don’t mean a little cute stuff oh no, like night of the living dead, black magic over the top. Completely unprofessional. So I overlooked it bc everyone has their thing ok. So I go in and start hearing all the office drama. The doctor is tired and mad at the nurses and they scheduled wrong and nonsense. The doctor is rude and has been from the beginning. However I am not there for a friend. I am there for a dentist. So I am like, it’s fine. So they put me under General anesthetia. I wake up mid surgery it’s so horrifying. The pain is unbearable. I start trying to yell, they must have put me back under. Then I wake up and all are gone but the receptionist and the doctor. I’m in INTENSE pain!!!! I’m crying I’m in pain and the doctor rudely goes, “what is hurting?!?” I’m like in and out so I got quiet and a little scared. The receptionist and him are discussing private matters and I’m laying there shaking I’m hurting so bad. One of the nurses come in and say, “oh he had to get tough with you” I’m like WHAT! I finally get released and I’m hurting so bad my friend who drove me takes me straight to the pharmacy. We get my meds. We go home. I’m swollen and the pills aren’t even touching the pain. I honestly think I should have been in the hospital. So I call the dr office the next day. They tell me it’s normal to hurt but don’t take your pain meds (12 hydrocodone 5 MG and 16 800 MG Motrin) once they are gone they are gone and basically you should be grateful he had to clear out his day because of your 4 hour surgery. Ok so I am a medical student. I am not a doctor yet but a 4 hour surgery and I’m supposed to just walk away as if no pain?!? Is it not the surgeons duty to make you comfortable????!?!??? Anyway so they say if it gets bad go to the ER. Of course I have been to the ER 2 times. They even said this wasn’t done right. Dr. Howard Fisher will be hearing from my lawyer. They aren’t pushing me around because they accept Dentaquest. I was only on it for a brief time because of some things that happened but I am by no means taking this kind of treatment and I am sorry people feel like they have to!****I am adding to this a week later, I seen another dentist and they had to reopen me and fix this mess. I am so angry and feel violated. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!

The staff is incredibly rude an uncooperative. My insurance is separated into two parts, and requires a bit of finesse to work, however the staff was disinterested in attempting to resolve my issues. Ended up paying quite a bit more out of pocket then I should have needed to, and am still now, two months after the procedure, attempting to get my dental X-rays to fix my claim. Surgery went well, everything else? A nightmare.
