The food is lousy. People yell at you and if you need wound care you have a hard time getting someone to do it. Not are the willing to order the supplies you need for wound care. They will also dump you out with no way to get home. If it had not been for some sympathic staff I would have had to walk to Niceville. If you tell them you have a certain medical condition the head nurse and the admin will scream at you until you get sick and throw up

My mother hasnt been stay here for long, but she has told me that she has been being treated horribly. The staff had been accusing her of using racial slurs towards some of the staff members and they are constantly being rude to her. plus the owners would not allow her to have some of the things she needs for her anxiety (which she has really bad). I would not recommend letting anyone under 50 be staying here because obviously the staff does not care about the residents feelings, my mom is not racist and never will be, she tries her absolute hardest to be nice to everyone and treat everyone with respect and she has been taken advantage of.

My grandfather is here for rehabilitation/nursing care. He seems to like most of the nursing staff. Its a decent facility. The staff treats my grandfather well, and from what Ive seen others are treated with dignity as well. There are a few bad CNAs employed here. I caught a CNA being very rude to a resident, but this is only a few bad apples. Everyone else is great! The Physical therapists are exceptionally great. The ONLY big complaint, is that the rooms are all shared with another resident, and are very small. Leaving zero room to work with patients without intruding on the other patient in the room which raises privacy concerns. Other than that, Id recommend this facility for short-term rehabilitation.

A friend is in this place right now and being treated horribly. They fail getting patients transportation to from doctors, fail to make sure patients have medication required, CNAs worry about their lunch breaks than attending to patients needs. The Ombudsmen need to investigate and assure patients get the care our Medicaid tax dollars are used for training and oversite.

Sadly there are only a couple nurses and CNAs that actually care at this facility. Most of the time you have to pester your cna/nurse to get any sort of treatment. My father left this facility with pneumonia after receiving poor trach care and a serious bedsore on his upper buttock. If your family member is sent to this facility, visit them everyday to make sure they receive the care they deserve because they most likely will not receive it, especially if theyre not able to speak for themselves

This place is in one word Hell to best describe it. Need I to say anymore!?!?

The staff are very knowledgeable and kind.
