Johny has been the best hair stylist I’ve had. My family and I were so impressed with how well he did my shaggy cut compared to the reference pictures. He styled it so beautifully with curls and was amazing company to converse with, please give him a raise! I’ve never felt so beautiful until now thanks to him.

Big selection, definitely pricey. Daughter had a gift card so we thought we would check it out. Doubt it will be our go to store for cosmetics/ hair care. Clean nice store hard to tell what the prices are. Definitely asking us if we need help or a basket or finding what we need was way to much like every 3 to 4 min.

If I could give it negative stars, I would. Super unhelpful associates. Accosted at the door about wearing a mask, even though it was posted that they were unnecessary if you were fully vaccinated. Had to hunt someone down for help and she was vaguely helpful. Very disappointed in Ulta.

I went in to exchange some shampoo and conditioner I bought on a cyber Monday sale but had busted open when it was being shipped to me. I grabbed the same exact product and went to wait in the line that is always forever long with only one cashier. I get up there and they tell me my total is 8.74. Doesn’t make sense, I’m just exchanging items that were damaged in shipping. It should be an even exchange. The manager hears me ask why it’s not an even exchange and starts asking the cashier when I bought it and if I used coupons, as if I’m not standing there and couldn’t answer myself. She then tells me I would have to pay the difference because they’re on a BOGO 1/2 and I’ll get some of my rewards points I had used for the purchase returned to me. She tried to validate that I’ll get $2.20 back in rewards but I have to pay the almost 9 dollar difference right now. I tell her that makes no sense and that I’ll just take the damaged items back and call customer service. She tries convincing me to just buy the new ones validating that I’ll get some of my reward money back. I leave the store and call customer service and during a 2 minute phone call I’ve got new items being sent to me for free! So just skip the store in all, between the terribly long line and bad customer service in store, it’s easier to just order it online.

My eyelashes fell out the next day I felt embarrassed... I paid 20$ plus a 10$ tip when I got home I thought wait I knew o over paied the guy who cut my 4 year old daughters hair was amazing I wished I wouldve gave everyones tip he absolutely desveved it he is amazing I never just let my kid wander off alone but for some reason I got a good feeling from him she came back like a super star.

I have been to this ulta a few times and I have yet to have a good experience. Today I went in to get a new shampoo and conditioner. As I was coming in an employee asked if I needed help finding anything. I explained to her my situation and she directed me to what I can only assume to be a manager. The manager then showed me to the shampoo and brought over a hairdresser to better assist me. All fine and appreciated. This is where the whole thing became frustrating. The hairdresser shows me what she recommended and leaves and not even two minutes later another employee asked if I need any help. I politely let them know Im now just looking and they leave. Again two minutes goes by and yet again an employee asks if they can help. This goes on a few more times before I decide its time to go. I just wanted to shop in peace. I head to the register and am checking out when I noticed that the cashier had added two other items, that I did not bring up, to my purchase. I let her know the issue and she assured me I was mistaken. I let it go and ask her to take my point reward off so that I can save some money. After she hits total I can clearly tell that what should be a $30 purchase is somehow ringing in at $50. I tell her again that she had two other items on my purchase that are not mine. She finally removes these items and acts as if it was never a problem. Total comes to $30. Okay I walk out and check my receipt and she never put my points on. After all that I have decided its better to shop online. Clearly disappointed in this store!

I made an appointment well in advance with the salon at Ulta to get my hair done for my bridal portraits. The stylist called me and left me a message asking if I could call the store to explain to her the style I was wanting. No problem. So, I called and attempted to explain to her what I was wanting and before I could even finish explaining, she asked if I had pictures of the look, which I did. Then she asked me to come in and show her. Why I couldnt just text or email them (especially during a pandemic) I dont know, but I went ahead and made an appointment with her to show her the style I was wanting. At my appointment, I showed her pictures of what I was wanting and she told me that she was not familiar with the style and she will watch YouTube tutorials to learn how and she had me text her pictures. Why this couldnt have been done without an in-business visit, once again, I do not know. This part was inconvenient and a bit annoying, but the worst is to come.My bridal photo shoot was Sunday at 6:00 pm. My hair appointment was scheduled for 2:00 pm. The stylist calls me on SATURDAY AT 4:30 PM to tell me she cant figure out the style, less than 24 hours before my appointment. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and just straight up rude. Not being able to do the style is one thing, but she should have been upfront about it. She should not waited until less than 24 hours before the appointment and left a customer high and dry and scrambling to find another stylist. I will NOT be returning to the Ulta Salon in Fort Smith, ever.

I went when they first opened buying a gift for my wife wasnt busy and I was ignored no one ever asked if I needed help looking for something it was my first time going so I dont know if it was because Im guy or what but it wasnt a good experience and Id rather order online instead of having to deal with bad customer service at least I was greeted that was the only good thing I can say.

Look elsewhere if you want good quality beauty products for an affordable price. This place doesnt honor their own online prices, doesnt have half of what their website says is in stock in the store, and just throws around the products without any care or organization. This means that it can take half an hour to find something when youre looking for it because its not in the right place, and when you do find it, its likely broken and/or a much higher price than their website says it is. Or, often you wont find it all all because even though their website says they have it in stock, they dont. Ive had many issues with this place and Ive never once had a good experience here.

They do not treat customers OR staff like anything, but an inconvenience. If you like getting dirty looks and treated like you’re nothing, then this is the place for you. The rags they use to clean the toilets with are the same rags they use to wipe down the counters. That they don’t even take the effort into sanitizing properly. 10/10 don’t recommend.

I had high hopes for the salon, Ive been using Ultas salons for years but this one is by far the worst. I called and made my appointment, telling the lady what I needed, when I showed up for my appointment she informed me that she cant do what I asked for (all over color) and turned me away. Fine, Ill take my business somewhere else.

I love this store its one of my favorite places to go for any kind of hair face products. Although I do have to say a draw back is theres never enough customer service around to ask questions if you dont understand the product or how to use a certain item. Its hard to get an appointment in this salon area. Theres never really or anybody around thats the only drawback. Prices are a little high but the products are with it.

Had a really good experience here the girls that helped me were just super they didnt try to push anything on me and when they were out of product that I came for she found the same shade in the brand I like in a different type tested it and really enjoyed it never felt judged or pushed to buy something they were super helpful with my questions and showing me products and giving me honest pros and cons and not just trying to sell me and I got a free gift even better

I was not impressed. The products were great & with a reasonable variety, but the whole time i was n there, i felt...rushed somehow. The prices were a little higher than i expected.Also, i was pretty upset that i cldnt buy one of the products i had picked out for my hair type, (i have thick, curly, frizzy hair), b/c it scanned a lot more than what it showed on the shelf...(there was more than one on the shelf),...so, i didnt buy it.I did find a gr8 deal on some body wash though!!When checking out, it seemed like it took forever...even one of the ladies behind me got huffy, & stormed out...the poor girl doing the checking sldve had help.

I really like walking into this store because I always feel like I am entering a higher end store. It is laid out quite well, and almost every brand has its own section and is clearly marked. It is fairly large with a wide array of products. So far, I have never felt like an associate was pushy. They greet you and offer help when I have asked. My last visit I was unsure about a foundation match and I asked for help. The associate came and tried a couple of shades, then found the one that worked best and left me to finish the rest of my shopping. I enjoy going in here just to window shop, too.

My favorite place besides hobby lobby, everything is set up beautifully and it’s always clean. The only thing I don’t like is that sometimes you run into unfriendly staff that seem uninterested in being there or unhelpful. This would usually chase people off but I’m not there to make friends I’m there to shop, I do wish they would hire nicer people though.

I’m pretty disappointed at this day and time they don’t bother explaining or provide prices for hair salon services but what to be taken serious as a business. Ulta has always dropped the ball when it comes to providing information about the salon which in return makes people question their salon altogether. Unfortunately it’s on Ulta as a company for being in business so long and not addressing it. The point is they pay employees at different skill sets raising their prices. Just say that and don’t make people ask, trust me you’ll get more business that way. In the meantime we’ll find somewhere else.

So-so customer service. I’m sure the staff is knowledgeable about women’s products, but not so much about some of the men’s products they carry. Also, I bought a bottle of Nioxin conditioner only to use it a week after purchasing it and find about an inch’s worth of empty space between the top and actual product. What a rip off!

I will not ever go back to this store. I’ve been in twice. The first time I was never greeted and could not find anyone to help me. The second time I asked for help and the girl seemed inconvenienced by me being there, she didn’t smile once, she only answered my questions with to-the-point replies, did not elaborate or offer more help. I would have bought more if she would have been nicer. I was ready to spend money.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I travel all over the country and this is definitely the worst experience I’ve ever had at Ulta Beauty. I went to return an item and since I have an account I never keep the receipt, hasn’t been an issue until today...they forced me to take a store credit even though they successfully located my purchase via my long time account. I must say the manager (Janna) was the most disappointing part in this and seriously looked a mess like she just rolled out of bed...my opinion is perhaps she has insecurity issues which explains her very poor appearance and serious lack in customer satisfaction skills, not to mention her fake policy that even guest relations confirmed as inaccurate (confirmed by a guest relations agent and supervisor). Buyer beware of this location, I do not recommend it. Go to Sephora or take a long drive to another Ulta.

ULTA has everything from high end cosmetics, skin care, fragrances, hair care, and so much more, to the very affordable and inexpensive. I love shopping here also as you get points for every dollar that you spend. And you can use those points just like money on your purchases. If you havent shopped at ULTA you truly dont know what youre missing. Go check them out!

I used to Love Ulta! They used to be so amazing and friendly, and would help recommend different products, and explain how they work and how to use them!! Now, the girls are mostly rude, I never get greeted, an they act better then everyone else. They only recommend the most expensive high end products, and they charge you for advice on applying makeup. I’d rather watch YouTube and figure it out my self then pay $35 for them to tell me the same thing. I love the girl that does my hair there, she is so sweet, and does an amazing job, but it’s unaffordable to pay almost $200 every 6 weeks for root touch ups! And every time I go in there she’s been promoted so her prices go up, I don’t think that should make the customers have to pay more. I just don’t like taking my business here anymore, I do not recommend it to anyone. I’d rather shop online or go anywhere else at this point.

Went in to the salon with fried, box died hair, and came out looking like a completely different woman! The Stylist Jen was so nice and is very good at bringing hair back from the dead!! I was so nervous that I wouldnt like it, Ive had several bad experiences at other locations so I was hesitant to say the least! In the end after a long process of stripping and treating and foiling it came out beautifuly! I would def recommend Jen to anybody needing their hair revived!! (It was a very long process and it was a little expensive but very worth it!!)

Most workers are usually pretty friendly. Although I went in there a few weeks ago and a worker named Amanda was quite rude the whole time she was checking me out. In addition to that, I had a new debit card and I messed up my pin number ONCE, and she became impatient and said how she’s only trying it one more time. I would recommend avoiding this employee if you’re going into the store.

Like any other makeup store, I guess its who is working that makes all the difference. Have been here a few times with great service, a few times with workers who seemed a little stuck up, and also one time that an employee literally followed me around the store the whole time that I shopped as if I were going to shoplift. The product selection is more diverse than makeup, which I appreciated.

Horrible customer service. Went in and asked a cashier for help in a section. They were busy so I waited in the aisle Id asked for help in for 20 MINUTES. I asked her again and she asked fellow associate standing idly next to her why I hadnt been helped. She responded with, We dont have anyone on the floor. Better just to order the product online.

I dont know what all these other reviews are talking about, but Ive had wonderful experiences here. I go in, look around, get what I need, check out, leave. I dont understand the comments saying the staff ignored them. Being left to shop in peace is why I like Ulta better than Sephora. If its kinda empty, a staff member will usually come ask if I need anything, but wont push products on me. Its awkward when salespeople do that, IMO. I do my research first, know what I want and dont need help once im there, usually.

The staff is so rude!! They act condescending. I was waiting 5 mins for help! Not a big deal but when an employee is just on their phone it is a little annoying. When the women then decided to help me she talked to me like I was stupid for not know what she was saying about the make up. While she was helping me she talked down to the elderly women who just wanted to know the answer to the question I asked. The worker had said to her I am helping someone rn, and then I am busy The worker was repeatedly rude to the elder women. I apologized letting her know it was fine. I asked about a coupon and the worker got rude again so I went around trying to find something else to buy, and she was following me like I was trying to steal something! I was going to buy a lot that day too!! They ruined my mood so I checked out with what I had. As I was being checked out the employee acted bothered, and mad when I asked if I had any points. She kept puffing loudly. I felt uncomfortable and wont go back until new people are hired, and such a shame because in the past the workers were so nice! I bet the management sucks now...

I will never come back to this ulta! I went in to get my foundation matched and the girl did NT wanna help me at all!!! She was rushing me and matched me with a foundation color THAT I AM NO WHERE NEAR TOO!!!! my prom is tonight, and i just put on the foundation and i look like freaking michael jackson!! The foundation is white on me! Im a pretty tan person, so idk what that girl was thinking!! I tried to tell her it was too light but she convinced me it was a perfect match.. its too latw to take it off so i feel like my prom night is RUINED!!! The girl was just rushing me!! She only helped me for like 3 minutes . She obviously didnt wanna help me!

I walked in and no one greeted me. No one smiled. No one offered to help. I had one lady who asked if I was “ok” as I was about to leave. No one said thank you or told me bye. Horrible customer service. No one looked happy. No one looked like they wanted to be at work. Will not be going back.

Love ulta, but not this location. I recently moved back to the area and went in for eyeliner and mascara. The shelves arent even stocked.... my first choice and second for eyeliner were not on the shelf. I asked if they could check if they had it because it is suppose to be in stock. The girl was nice but had no clue what she was looking for and tried looking through the drawers but again didnt know what she was looking for so in return did not find it. So I looked around trying to find a different eyeliner and decided on one only to see that it too wasnt stocked... (both tarte) so i asked someone else hoping they would do better. I believe she was a manager and she wouldnt even look for it herself.. (she was just standing there talking to other employees) she went and made someone else do it and they only checked the back, not the drawers and took 15 minutes to tell me they didnt have it. So I finally decide to try and just check out and order it with them, only to find out they have to do it in two separate transactions so I cant use my 20% for both. So I just left.. worst experience Ive ever had at ulta and I have been to at least 30 different locations throughout the country...

Love Ulta, dislike this location. I have lived in this area for 3 years and customer service has always been the same...HORRIBLE. 1) The clerks never have a clue about products or how to assist with the correct products. They are inexperienced, no training. Working with cosmetics, the clerks should have training on brands, applications, ingredients, etc. 2) #1 applies only if you can find someone to help. 3) Always a line, short of cashiers. 4) While checking out, no privacy...the next person in line is always on top of you listening and can watch your entire charge transaction with the key pad. Each Ulta location should have a stand behind this line until you are called (like they do at TJ Maxx) 5) BIGGEST ISSUE: Ulta advertises free gifts BUT the FORT SMITH LOCATION never, ever has the free gifts. The cashiers have the same response each time I check out, we are sent a limited supply and they go quickly. Amazing. Ulta lures customers in with free gifts but never has them, EVER. I just walked out last night and did not make my purchase. I can make the same purchase at Sephora, online, or elsewhere!. I am a platinum member. I am fed up which led to this posting. Their rude attitude doesnt help either and the attitude is only at this location as I shop ALOT at the Ulta locations in Northwest Arkansas and their clerks are always awesome. Please tell me why the Fort Smith clerks have reason to have an attitude? LOL

Worst Alta I have been to. Help staff was extremely rude. Would not unlock the door until after 10am. Did not offer me any help. Also the clearance sections are a total disaster!
