Used their crossroads drug and alcohol rehabilitation program in Ft Myers in 2012 along with AA 12 step program. Was homeless when I joined. Been sober ever since and now I own my own home, have a good career, and a great family. No, it wasnt easy. I had to put the work in. Salvation Army gave me all the tools I needed to be successful, and it worked. If it wasnt for the Salvation Army Im confident Id be dead or in prison right now. Trust me, if I can do it, you can do it too. I no longer have any desire for intoxication. I cant be grateful enough for these people and the services they provide.

January 25, 2019. 8:30am. Had an appointment to see the doctor. Went to the office at the specified time. The receptionist had no clue. The nurse had no clue. The doctor was not even in. Perhaps, you should work on your record keeping. Seemed like they just didnt want to be bothered. Didnt do their due diligence to find out ANYTHING. Just put my paperwork back in the window and said GOODBYE.

We have volunteered here almost 3 years, and see how hard people work here and how much good they do serving the under-resourced.

I gave it 2stars because some very few people here actually do their best to help but for the majority they do not especially the people that are trying . the professionalism is totally gone. And the establishment definitely needs re- evaluation .

This place is run by unprofessional fake religious unorganized monkeys. Im speaking as just a visitor. They are extremely rude and treat the visitors as if they are all convicts also. I filled out a visiting form three times with my personal information so I can visit on the weekends and three times in a row they have said they have lost my paperwork and want me to keep on filling it out. I was going to church to see my husband and they told me I could not go to church. They have meetings every Thursday so you can follow up on how your love one is doing but all they do is yes you to death and make pretend everythings fine and dandy in there . I only go to the meetings because after the meeting you can visit for 30 minutes and thats all the time I get to see my husband for for a whole week . This place is a disgrace.

Salvation army owner, why dont you answer all the bad remarks? I am a disabled veteran with a service dog and every time I call im treated very badly. I would advise anyone to go somewhere else or stay living on the streets. Thank god I only have to be in this rude state until the 3rd of December.

I experienced racism and was treated like a prisoner. i was in the medical unit and the director and the nurse are the most evil people ive met in my life!!!! 2400 edison ave. they have it set up so i couldnt post my review on there. Bed bugs people sneaking alcohol in the place even smoking ciggerettes in the building. I promise to God im not lying and after they kicked me out for doing the right thing going out side and smoking. they kicked me out while I was waiting to see a surgeon for a pulled peculiar muscle and a torn wall muscle in my chest. Mercedez Pena is the only person that really cared for me. The nurse Linda nit picked at me since I arrived and Jacquelyn Kelly is the Director just evil people indeed pure devils with no feelings!!! Doing the most bad and Ive lost total faith in the salvation army as a non profit organization. I tried to contact her boss Tony and he wouldt return my calls same goes for him no good. Linda had the audacity to offer me a all day bus pass after throwing me out with all my things where i sat in tears on theyre property till a ride came and helped me. So a friend sent for me in Orlando where I can possibly find a surgeon to repair my chest muscle. I will be contacting a lawyer for the mental anguish I exsperienced. I dont even want no money i simply want the location at 2400 edison ave closed down because they are treating the elderly and people of color worse then animals. My right hand to the Most high God my statements are true!
